Recently we had Sangeet ceremony of our son at it's banquet hall. It was a great experience. Everything including decoration, dj, arrangements and services were perfect. Specially food was awesome. All the credits goes to it's manager Mr.Kafeel Ahmed who really made our occasion wonderful.👍☺️

It's a part of Tekarees Inn and mostly serve to the guests in hotel. Though food items are limited, may be other time more item available to eat. Overall a nice clean place and calm with light music playing. As we stay there as guest in marriage so our food items are limited.

We arranged manjha ceremony of my nephew in koolbreak and it was an amazing experience. All arrangements were perfectly delivered and Gyanendra helped us a lot in making the event successful. Great service and the team is amazing and very well spoken and hygienic. I highly recommend koolbreak for events like these..as they deliver value for money. Again thanks to Gyanendra and his team. ~ Saba Khan

Located on main road... Easy to find...Food is tasty and good (especially their Dal Tadka, wow, what a taste...too good). Reasonable prices. Value for money. Staff is courteous..Nice soothing ambience. Definite place to watch out for having lunch and dinner when Lucknow

This is a very old food joint in the city. Famous for Chinese food. I ordered soup and spring rolls. The sauce with spring rolls was really amazing. Soup was also nice. Prices are also fine. The service was too fast as there was no crowd so they brought everything together which I didn't like.

If you're a fan of authentic Chinese food, you must visit Kool Break once in your life and order their special veg Chinese basket.
They serve the best Chinese food.
I'm sure once you have their basket, you'd wanna visit their place again and again.
I have visited the restaurant hundreds of times. Hate so many dishes there. My favourite is Chinese chicken meal that is more than enough for two ppl even three ppl.they serve a unique fruit pudding which any sweet tooth would love. The coffee here is authentic and so relaxing. We made about acquaintaince with a staff Mr.Manoj who was almost always there to serve us. Staff if very polite and services are amazing. They will serve u themselves if u want them too. If u are celebrating the birthday they will do the work of cutting and distribution the cake. They also very cleanly packed the Rest of the cake for me to take home. I have nvr been disappointed by my visit here. So many good memories.

Food is nice.. ambience is something which can be worked upon..

Drums of Heaven is a must try. One of the best dishes that I have eaten in a while.

both Chinese n Indian dishes are fabulous. It's clean, professional and healthy. They have parking space too. But there are two things one should know, firstly order takes time and secondly waiting time can be there after 9pm. Enjoy the good food.

I am a hard core non veg lover. And kool break is the only Chinese restaurant in Lucknow that matches the calibre of my taste. We've been going to kool break since my childhood and it's always been amazing. Especially the drums of heaven which has always been mind blowing and gut bustin' tasty.

However, I ordered 'drums of heaven' recently, after almost three years, and I've been extremely disappointed. It wasn't hot (although that may be accredited to the fact that it was delivered), the quality of chicken seemed dubious and the scintillating sauce that's the taste amplifier of this dish, was different and not as good as it used to be. I fell sick the next day with fever and an upset stomach.

I have given 4 stars because of all my memories with the restaurant but the last night's experience was very disheartening, both for my heart and my stomach. I really wish you would reconsider the recipe and the ingredient's quality. Thanks.

This place is one of the best in lucknow for Chinese since years. They have mantain consistent taste and have a proper parking space. Highly recommended

I had visited this place months ago but i can surely feel the taste of the chicken tikka pizza along with cheese burger, the chicken tikka pizza was good and had a very good taste and the cheese burger was also delicious.
Abhijeet Gupta
We ordered mutton biryani here, the biryani was better than other restaurants as the pieces were soft and the taste of it was great, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone, if you want to try the best biryani in the town.

Pathetic food.... bad quality manchurian balls. Seemed to have been stale ! The stuffing was all clumpy and lacked the authentic taste. Was expecting better than this ! Zero star!

Awesome Food Quality and Service. One of my Favorite Place. Nice Atmosphere, lighting and great for Family. Bit higher price wise but its worthy. must Visit Place.. Paneer dishes are nice specially.

The place from its name sounds to be a cafe and so it took me so much time one to visit it .. it's more than a cafe though with proper North Indian and Chinese food available ..
The ambience of the place is good and so is the sitting for large groups and individuals too .. the staff is trained and service is fast and good .. no complaint on this ..

What we had was Peking soup which was a lil spicy but tasted awesome.. it's a thick soup with vegetables and chicken inside .. along with soup we had chilli chicken .. which to my taste wasn't that great as chicken seemed to be just fried and not properly mixed with chillies or onions etc .. cud have been better .. we also had chilli mutton which tasted awesome and was appreciated by all of us

For main course we had chicken kolapuri which is rich gravy with chicken pieces .. not sweet in taste .. was average though liked by all ..

The food portion is very good and one should know same before ordering to avoid wastage .. portion makes it most value for money .. food taste overall is good and makes it a place to be on it revisit list ..

When In school it was our favourite place for Birthday Parties the food’s good, ambiance is nice and it’s in the heart of the city. Yes it’s not changed now as well and I have so many happy memories with this place.

Kool break is like our family restraunt. I visit this restraunt with my family on various occasions like birthdays and anniversaries ... I have been here atleast 20 times and this place has never disappointed me...
I especially enjoy noodles, hot peeking soup, wonton , spring rolls and chilly chicken.... if I have to name things I enjoy I would actually fall short of words....

The worst paneer Manchurian and vegetable combination rice of my life.
Its been years i have been eating at kool break.
bt this was the worst experience of mine.

Only place in Lucknow after Mainland China n Joan Hing where u get decent Indian Chinese food n Indian cuisines. I prefer Kanpur's Chung Fa, Chin Mi, Shanghai & Chop Sticks Swaroop Nagar other than Mainland China Joan Hing n Cool Break in Lko. Main Course Chinese food at Joan Hing sucks! except for Soups n starters which are fine.
Ankita Chauhan
If you are ordering Indian cuisine then this place might not be where you want to be
Asiya
This is one of the best places to have Chinese and Indian cuisine. One of the oldest stalwarts of fine dine culture in the city the ambience is relaxing, food is very good and to add to everything the prices are pretty genuine.

Easy to locate right on the main road, with ample parking space.

An average ambience and ok ok serving staff meaning some are good rest are fine.

Had ordered soup, starter, main course and desserts.

Their soup department is on the weekend side.

Non Veg starters and Main course were good in quality and quantity, but you don't get that outright presentation skills.

Same went for the veg items.

Dessert was good and delicious.

Overall value for money food !!

Thank you :-)

Hello foodies my new review for cool break which is situated in hazratganj near hdfc bank. The place is easy to locate.I will start with ambience that is ok ok like a normal resturant, food quality was also ok.i had ordered chilly garlic noodles, veg manchurian and fried rice.all are good in taste and quantity is also sufficient, 1 thing i dont like over here is the service they take too much time to bring the order. And 1 more thing it is bit expensive if i compare with other resturant.

Food -3.5/5
Service-2.5/5
Ambience-3/5

I went to Kool Break for dinner. The veg Peking soup, veg hot and sour soup, chicken 65, veg hakka and chilli chicken was good. The chicken chowmein tasted good but there were very few chicken pieces. The gravy of the veg chopsuey was too watery. I had also order fish and chips. The fish was over cooked. The paneer pasanda and naan was excellent. Overall, it has a good ambience and it was a good experience.

The restaurant is so nice and one of the oldest diners we have had in tge city. The waiters are warm and obliging. Only wish that the restaurant would not be so dark and improve the lighting.
Been visiting this place for last two decades. Never had such a horrible experience with Chinese food. Chicken pepper salt was so spicy that one needed to eat each chicken piece with tomato sauce. The chicken noodles were absolutely bland with no taste and devoid of vegetables( in line with rising prices of vegetables). Never going to visit this place again and obviously not recommending it to anyone. A waste of money and evening spoiler. It has become more of a dhaba much different from the old Chinese delicacies we used to enjoy earlier. Very unfortunate indeed .

The ambience was pretty good. It is good spacious place to celebrate any occasion. We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff was cooperative. We ordered Manchurian with gravy, vegetable noodles, shezwan noodles and pasta. The quantity of the servings were good. The taste was decent as well. Overall it was a nice experience.
Mallika
The food was tasteless n rotten spring rolls was delivered.

I ordered for Chowmien and Paneer Chilly and they sent me a shocking surprise when I recieved Manchurian and Paneer Chilly both and i was wondering how to eat them with each other.

ordered online

Veg Noodles, Chilli Paneer, Veg Manchurion

Nice Food, Good Taste, Nice Looks

Packing was normal.

Overall satisfactory experience

who puts paneer in a special veg pizza? nd it was overdose of paneer with some babycorn nd capsicum thats it.!! a paneer pizza is a paneer pizza nd special pizza has to be something different.. nd i ordered online nd dis is what i received nd pizza base was not fresh it was stretchy nd burnt..

Hands down one of the best place to fulfill your cravings for chinese food. Pick any thing from the menu and I bet it would be delicious. This was one of our family's go to restaurant when I was a kid, and we still visit the place sometimes even now. Some of the good dishes that I've tried here are:-
• American Chopsuey
• Chilli Garlic Noodles
• Panner Chilli
• Vegetable/Paneer Manchurian
• Japanese Rolls (Veg / Non-veg both )
• Honey Chilli Potato
• Manchow Soup and Peking Soup

I've been to kool break umteen number of time, it's the goto place for me with friends or family. They offer constant quality and have grown from a small joint to a well established restaurant in the city. It's of the best places in the city for Chinese food.
Their taste and quantity are great.
A mini meal (2 soups, one noodles/rice and one gravy) is enough for 2 people. Their wontons, momos, honey chilli fried potatoes are some of their best starters. The American chopsuey is my absolute favourite. The peaking soup and manchow soup are simply wonderful.
For any person in your party who likes Indian more, their Indian food is all as good as any Mughlai restaurant around.
The only issue is that you might have to wait for a table on Saturdays and Sundays and the service is a little slow.
UTKARSH GUPTA
Basically it's a fast food restaurant focusing of Chinese food the place ok and the service is good now talking about food Chinese is good specially their chicken lollipop and honey chilly potatoes I personally haven't eaten much here mostly takeaways and the Indian food is nice and about continental food I haven't tried it yet so altogether it's good for a family dinner in indo Chinese food
Reviewer~
The_lost_taste

A good and clean place to have some food. The non veg served is also good. The quantity served is enough for 2-3 people. Ambience is kinda soothing. The soups are a bit spicy so be careful while ordering it. Just dont sit downstairs for your meal. Prefer sitting on the 1st floor for some good food experience.
The Hungry Indian Soul
Kool break is a fun to dine with family. It has a vast menu which gives you many options suitable for your palate
I would like to mention the fried chicken wonton which is amazing. I always order mutton chilli which is my favorite because of the garlic-y and burnt taste.
Demerit will be : they should use fresh chicken as the chicken in their soup today had a stale taste and it was tough.
Also in desserts A MUST TRY : fruit Pudding.
The Crab
This 1 coz I don't have any option for 0, this is meant specifically for the steward.
This is not my first time at this place.
He made us order more, not one , but two dishes that were untouched. Is there no value for customers money.
Will never visit this place again or suggest Any one.
I m so angry that I will not write anymore
Harshita Gupta
Ambience wise the place is good and in terms of the taste of the food served it is also good. if you are in this area and you want to stop for lunch then yes it can be the place but it can try building its USPs to attract people from different corners of the city.

One of my favourite places ever since I shifted to Lucknow. For me this was the first place I tried Chinese food and whenever I want to have some Chinese, I still go back to kool break.
Here are my Favourites from the place -
Spring rolls (perfectly crispy), veg Manchurian, veg hakka noodles & manchow soup.
Tauhid Khan
Really amazing place for Lunch. The Talumein soup, drum sticks and fried rice we ordered were all on point.
Service was as good as any nice place.
Food was tasty. Really decent pricing too.
Vikram
The quality of food is so pathetic....I ordered Thai Chicken and they don’t know how to prepare it .Never had Thai chicken with tomato base and their Restaurant Manager is so irresponsible that when I complained that quality is very poor he was least bothered to listen to the complaint....this restaurant is just a waste of money will never recommend it to any one and will never go again

Lucknow as a city has grown a lot in past few years and rise in number of cafes & restaurants are the proof that this AWADH ki nawabi city is all set to compete the world f youth❣️

Here's my first review of #Lucknow

If you are looking out for a fine dining place where you want to experience a good service! Then do check out " Kool Break". The name might not go with the fine dine feel but who cares about the name!! Do you!

Let's check out my review:

1) Ambeince: very peaceful, Serene and quiet. As you enter this place you will feel good. Nice lights and decor. I'll give 4/5

2) Food: we ordered PEKING SOUP,MANCHOW SOUP, VEG NOODLES & CHILLI GARLIC SAUCE. Taste of the food is nice and serving is good. At any point of time you will not feel that the food is bad or less. It's sufficient for 2people. I will give 3.5/5

3) Staff: very cordial staff. Well dressed and prompt. The thing which I did not like about them was that the waiter brought the bill, I paid by card and after that he was standing beside me. The entire time when I was wrapping up he stood there on my head. Which gave me an indication that he wanted a tip! I would like to bring this to the management that "we pay service tax" Tip is customer's choice and waiters can't impose that not even by indirect indications.
Take care of this
I will give 2.5/5

4) Location: This point is the most important point. To reach this place you need Google map and it's right there on the main road but how will you step in? It is not on the ground floor but on the first floor and you will have to climb 5 -6 stairs to reach this fine dining place. Let's say if any physically disabled person wants to try this place! He will not be able to... Coz there's no lift... No ramp.. nothing for the people who can't walk.
My mom had a foot injury still she had to climb the stairs and it's paining now!
1/5

To the management: please take care of your society. You can't grow with helping your society.

Overall: Overall its a nice place for a fine dining and food is also worth the price. If you want to go out without burdening your pockets then try this place.
3.5/5
I have been there twice or thrice and I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant from ambiance to their services. The food served is of good quality, the ambience is quiet and peaceful. I tried there Chinese menu, from which drums of heaven is my personal favourite.
I would prefer everyone to once try this dish on their menu.
Talking about the services, even the services were pretty good. The waiters were polite and the food was served to us on time.
All in all I give kool break a big thumbs up!

Penning down a review of this 'Grand Old Maharaja' (it seems to be from antiquity) fills me with sheer nostalgia. It is a decent place with ample space available for its patrons. The ambience is minimalist with furniture neatly arranged.
It used to be an idyllic place for me as I was a regular here. The food was just right for your taste buds and the Chinese cuisine was well prepared. It was never too noisy even if you happen to dine with the place going chock-a-block. The menu was easy on the pocket too.
The familiarity makes this place endearing to me; it serves as a reminder of a time gone by, leaving memories in its wake.
The close proximity, now, is a thing of the past as I had to change accommodation in a far corner of the city, and that meant the connection faded gradually.

Still for the sake of old times, I would gladly raise a toast to you, in your company itself! :)

Devang Nahar
My experience at Kool break has had flashes of brilliance, interspersed with dull periods of disappointment. It is a restaurant that bats like Afridi.

I have tried Indian, Chinese and Continental here. The portion sizes are always good and the food is often decent, but sometimes one does notice carelessness. Sometimes the Mutton Chilli comes too thickly battered, curries come too oily or saltless, and so on. One of the best dishes to have here is the Tomato fish, but at times the tomato in the sauce is too overbearing.

The ambience is good and one often notices client lunches being hosted here, as it is in close proximity to several office complexes. The service is good too but at times, the waiters pester you for tips a little stubbornly.

Still, the 3.5 rating is well deserved for the flashes of brilliance that the taste of food sometimes provides.

This place is famous for its Chinese food in the area where it is located. Ambiance is good. Chinese food is good specially their noodles should be tried. Indian food is also good. The staff is well mannered and good at service but a bit slow. Overall it is quiet place to visit with family and friends with average, pocket friendly pricing.

Restaurant is located in front of SIDBI building easy to spot. The place is near to my college so visited frequently to enjoy with friends over lunch. The ambiance is simple nothing unique in that. Staff was courteous and well trained . Service was quick.
.
This time when I visit this place I ordered Spring Rolls and Veg Chowmein . Spring rolls was crispy and cooked well but the dip served with it was not upto the mark. Veg Chowmein was cooked well and have proper amount of veggies. Prices are moderate according to quality but quantity can be improved little bit .
.
Overall a decent place to have lunch or dinner with family and friends . Ratings 👇 👇
Food : 4/5
Quality :4/5
Quantity : 3.5/5
Service : 4/5
Ambiance : 3.5/5
Pricing : 3.8/5

This place is famous for it's chinese food at an affordable price. The American choupsey is quite famous. North Indian food is also available. The ambiance is good and is generally full during weekends. Staff is good friendly and promt. Good place to celebrate and enjoy with friends and family.

My experience was so so disappointing. The staff was so slow and least bothered to take the order promptly. The waiters were so reluctant. Even when the order came, it was so cold.. so super disappointing. Never going back!!

Like their Chinese food. One of the best places to have good and reasonably priced Chinese food.
Their mini meals are a fantastic combo and equally filling.

Though it is situated in hazratganj since a very long time, I had recently visited this restaurant for the first time and I liked so much that I had went there 4 times within 2 months. Coming to taste of food I would say that some dishes are very delicious while some are not. Ambiance gives you decent feel. You will see great crowd at dinner time. Prices are very fair seeing the quality quantity and location of the restaurant. Service is good. Staff is humble and take care of their guests. Overall this is better than any other restaurants in hazratganj.
Vishu
This place is great if you are looking for a great dinner,

With great taste and ambiance you can enjoy the evening with you family and friends
Located just near to the hazratganj

Must try is biryani
Over all i would rate 3.5 out of 5

Great food... great ambience.. great service...

Loved the Chinese food & specially the fried ice cream which was innovative.

A must visit in Lucknow.

This place used to be my go-to for Indian Chinese but I can now see the place has lost whatever they had built.

Their old name stays but nothing else is the same. 5 reasons why I think this place is at a place of no return:

1) we entered the restaurant at 10:25pm and we're welcomed to a filthy table and seating which they considered clean

2) it took us 20 minutes just to get water and menu after repetitive reminders, 5 to be precise

3) after ordering, it took 55 minutes and 4 gentle reminders and one asking for the bill to get them to start with soup

4) the soup and food was not the same, the soup lacked salt, the chopseuy was cold and lacked taste (was too sweet)

5) their famous bread pudding had lost texture. It tasted stale and the cake seemed to have moisture as if it had been kept in a bad fridge.

I was really fond if this place but I don't think I will be going here in the future. This place has lived it's golden days.

Visited Kool Break for dinner. The Chinese food was very tasty and the helpings were good. Neat and clean with soothing ambience the service is also courteous.

Kool Break has always been one of the best places for Chinese food in Lucknow. We decided to try it out after a long time . The ambience is good even though it was midweek place was almost 80% full which shows the popularity of this restaurant .
We ordered veg wonton soup , Veg drumstick , paneek tikka masala , dal makhani , garlic nan & Kulcha.
Soup was good so were the drum sticks . Paneer had more salt in it , the waiter adjusted it by adding some cream to it. Dal Makhani was less creamy , Garlic nan & Kulcha were good .
We had the leftovers packed , when we checked it after reaching our home to our surprise ,they were packed in polythene , this was totally unexpected even a street side food stall packs their food in aluminum foil these days.

All in all an average experience. Chinese food is good but north Indian could have been better.
Lima Khan
Definitely one of the best places serving Chinese food in lucknow. I ordered crispy chicken, which was unlike anything I had before, totally yum. Chili garlic noodles was good in taste and not too spicy which was fine by me. And lastly we ordered chilly chicken dry, which was soft succulent and tasty. The food is totally worth the money.
The only minus point was that they took alot of time to get our food out. But maybe that's cuz the place is always buzzing with people.
Farman Khan
Not a place u would recommend, slow service, food wasn't so good, chopsey was OK ok, ambience was decent, but everything could have been so much better. Bad experience.
Shubham Soni
Highly dissatisfied .
They bring your food from another planet, I guess . That's why they take so much time . Very very slow service .
The cups in which they served the basic coffee and tea , where literally dirty .

After waiting for 40 min to be served, you will be served with average Chinese food.

Not recommended to visit this place

Improve speed of ur service guys. Its pathetic

This place is love. Food is amazing. Be it starter, main-course, dessert. Like anything and everything is awesome.
Well for me its been like we both grew together.

Visited this place on a weekend. We ordered handi chicken , kung pao chicken and schezwan chicken with laccha paratha and naan. Handi chicken tasted good. Kung pao and schezwan chicken tasted the same. White sauce pasta took hours to be served and it tasted sweet. Service was slow.
Food - 3.5/5
Service - 2.5/5

This is a reataurant located on the ashok marg between sikandar bagh and hazratganj crossing. Very shabby and food quality is not that good. If you dnt have any other option than one can try but would not recommend it. Service is poor aswell which is very slow. I ordered egg curry which was not tasty. Few items were not available too.
Okay... A nyc place for family dinner. Food is average. Seating arrangement is also good. Service is also not bad. Overall a good place. One should visit.
Divya Singh
This place serves the best chinese in the city. At such a cheap price it is quite hard to find amazing food but this is the place everyone craves for.
Richa Ahuja
Food is fine. Always crowded. Slow service. Spacious but Poor ambience. Rates are okay but not worth the service u get. Better to go to Royal Cafe or Moti Mahal!
Himanshi Gaur
I love this place. They make the best pecking soup. I have never had better. I have been going to this place since childhood. Service is good. Must visit for if you like Chinese.

Quality has declined over years. This has been one of the favourite restaurants of my family but now, it isn't the same Kool Break anymore. The restaurant is quite popular in the area it is located. The restaurant is spacious and the Ambience is pretty decent. The staff is friendly and that's where the good part ends. The service takes a lot of time. Fresh Lime Soda took them 15 minutes to serve. The food tastes horrible now except the Drums Of Heaven which tasted pretty much better than everything else. The Noodles were a disgrace. They were not the same noodles which we used to have there. The taste, the smell, pretty much everything changed. We used to visit this restaurant basically for having Chinese food because they had amazing Chinese food. But, the food quality has gone down miserably. We even complained to the manager who said that he would surely look into this. We just hope Kool Break revives it's prior status.

Please update the menu is old one. The place is really cool. Service is prompt and taste is also nice. I had ordered lachcha paratha, garlic naan, peas mushroom and mixed raita. I found all of them quite good.

Rates shown in card is lower than actual. One should be careful while visiting this hotel. Making fraud. Service was also not as per standard expected.

This place is gud only for Chinese food.. everything else sucks.. coffee is served in tea cups instead of coffee mugs.. waiters don't understand a thing.. only saviour is quality of Chinese food here
Great place for Chinese cuisine. Pizzas are not that good here. The Manchurian was very tasty and so was the noodles.
Ambience is good and service is alright.
Overall a good place to hang out.

This joint is quite famous in the area and it's because of the quality of food they serve.. Pricing is reasonable .. Ambience is nice.. Crispy chilly potato is worth a try!

Whenever I get a chance to visit The City of Nawabs, I ensure that I visit Kool Break. If I am not mistaken this restaurant has been there since 25 years. Every time I visit..maybe once every 3-4 years, there are 2 things in common...first, the menu keeps getting better and better and second is the service which keeps improving.
My recommendations would be Peaking Soup, Veg Crispy, Chilli Paneer, Tofu triangles, Singapore noodles, Fried ice-cream and the Special pudding.
A meal for 2 should average around INR 800-900. Caveat: the serving portions are large so do check with the captain before ordering. For me their recommendations have been spot on.
Considering the quality of food and the prompt service, Kool Break is definitely right at the top of my go-to places in Lucknow.

If asked for a review a year or two back, I would happily rate this 4 but now the standard has gone down. They are either unable to deal with the large footfall or they are taking things for granted. I've been going to this place since 6-7 years but recently when I visited it after a year the things are changed. I ordered bhutan chicken( which was great when i tried it before) and I specifically ordered it because of the taste but when our order arrived which was after 30-45 minutes it turned out to be chilly chicken. We asked the waiter but he resisted and disagreed with us saying that its not chilly chicken. The chicken pieces in handi biryani were not properly cooked, also the taste wasn't great. Every person on each table was complaining about their poor service to the manager so we rather thought to just let it pass but this was my last visit to this place. Poor service, lost taste, enjoying monopoly, substandard food- this is what is Kool break now. They might treat you well if you reach during the non rush hours as per hardly anyone is present in the restaurant but during peak hours they are the worst.

Horrible place with even worse staff. We went there for late breakfast, we wanted a particular soup but the staff was so hell bent on not serving what we wanted, after we tried tk explain him, he was rude and walked off mid way.
After we raised our volume, and asked him to cancel our order, they insisted we eat what they offer, which is totally crazy, the manager finally decided to get us the bill and we left.

I tried the soup they got. BAD!

The famous and one of the old family restaurants in Lucknow. The name is enough. Famous for its Chinese and north Indian food. Have been visiting Kool Break since childhood days. Family dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, have such amazing memories of this restaurant. They have maintained the quality till date. Good food at economical prices.

I went to this place some weeks ago. It was my first time to this place and I found the place mesmerizing. Actually it was my friend's birthday so we went there for dinner. As the name suggest, i thought it would be a place where normally "guys" hangout. But it came to be a very decent place which one can check out with their family or with their partner. A great place to check out. With an amazing ambience and the food, this place is one among every towner's wish list.

The food is finger-licking. The best thing in non-veg here was the "DRUMS OF HEAVEN" and mark my words, it can really take you to heaven. The Chinese is one if its kind here. It is not a particular Chinese dining restaurant but the Chinese is worth having.

With amazing services and food, you will find this place a bit costly but at the end it is worth going for.

Been late in writing the review anyways it's a nice family restaurant famous for Chinese food. Generally all the items are good including the soups. It was a very small place which have grown to this reputation after two decades of consistency. Chinese food people prefer here but they also serve north Indian food also. I have too tried only once in two decades of my acquittance. It's not a authentic Chinese but the way we Indians normally like it. So do try if in hazratganj main market of the city.

They serve best chinese in the city..drums of heaven are my favourite of all...they were so delicious, soft n juicy. Other items which one must try here are chilli potato, schezwan rice, chicken in black pepper sauce, spring rolls. Nyc ambiance n gud service. In all, a pleasant experience.

Decent place for family functions and office outings as well. The ambience is very soothing and so is the food. I loved the manchow soup n the chilly garlic noodles. The tikkas we ordered were however a tad bit salty.

Revisiting Childhood Memories@ Kool Break Hazratganj.
I spent my Sunday evening having over a cup of masala chai, drums of heaven, mutton chop & steamed chicken momos at Kool Break,a restaurant which is well known for it's yummy chinese as well continental spread and at the same time is easy on your pocket. Yet what is amazing is the fact that they have managed to retain their quality of food as well as service over a span of 20 years!. Well to be honest, their service is a bit slow but it always was even when I was in school but the quality of the food served more than makes up for it. That is the reason why it has managed to maintain it's loyal customer base

Well, this place is an old horse of chinese food in Lucknow. I have seen it almost since ever.
U will get everything to eat over here. Chinese is brilliant.. Indian food is decently tasty. Indonesian food, specially goreng rice is worth eating or atleast trying.
My personal favs include Assorted Veg Kebabs,
Paneer chilli, veg Manchow soup, hakka noodles among others. Veg white sauce pasta is also good.
On weekends and holidays, u will mostly find waiting as this one is a favourite in Lucknow, like i said in the beginning- its an old classic horse.
