Located in heart of Lucknow, Hazratganj, the restaurant has a prime location. The ambience is great, the food served here is both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The taste is just awesome. I loved everything that I had ordered. The facility has a parking space in front. It's located close to the Saharaganj mall, so you can come here after shopping in the mall. The restaurant is open all days. Just a heads up, the restaurant is a bit expensive.

It gives a royal touch to your celebration awesome ambience .. food served is of high quality n rich in quantity. N most important ur privacy is also maintained here . Just loved it .

It is one of the finest restaurant of Lucknow where you get good hygenic food and reasonable price. I have found this place as Permanently Closed according to google maps, i want to report that this information is not true, the restaurant is working and it was closed for sometime for construction.

Food is good. There is usually wait for food and for table. Quite crowded. Very long menu i.e. you have lot to eat. All over good experience

I had gone with my friends for a dinner, the interior was quite well with the lights. We'd biryani a chicken and egg one there and both of them were really tasty, it's a place for a really good food. But the service wasn't matching with the food quality as we had ordered a coffee it had taken a more then 20 min to serve and no one were answerable for its delay, this is the only thing we had suffered although the food and other stuffs were great...

staff wasn't friendly at all. I was there with a male friend and they kept staring at us the whole time which made us very uncomfortable. this would be the sole reason I'm never going there again. food was okay. ambience was okay. service wasn't very good.

This is my go to restaurants when I have to eat Chinese food. The seating arrangement is good and the crowd is decent but the orders take a lifetime to reach your table. If you are super hungry, the service is going to make you angry.<br/><br/>I wanted to take away all it's. For the service it offers, but the food wants me to give it back. <br/><br/>This is one of the very few restaurants where I tried new things I and I was not disappointed if you are a non-veg lover you should visit this place.

A nice eating place with good look and feel. it has a good variety to choose from. the food is tasty. the only thing is that it is slightly higher on the price as compared to the other eating places with same services.

Worst service I have ever received from any restaurant in lucknow. The Waiters and manager are not listening to any one they just make sure that their customers just sit and wait for their food to be served I receive my food after 1 hour and 4 dishes which I ordered from their menu they don't have and they don't bother to inform us that they don't have these dishes. It my request and suggestions to everyone that do not go this restaurant.

Initially reluctant to serve two western ladies, but once we showed our enthusiasm for Indian food, the service was excellent, courteous and the food excellent. Ate far too much! <br/>Paneer and butter naan were great!!

I have been to this place yesterday only, ie on 25.01.2018. The food was pathetic, the behaviour of the staff was highly unprofessional. There card swaping machibe was not working. This all spoiled my party. Total wastage of money n time.

Our group on holiday, dropped in to this place for a quick lunch before we set off on sightseeing. At lunch time, the place seemed to be overrun by groups of senior ladies having a good time out. At least three noisy kitty parties were in progress.<br/><br/>The restaurant offers many options, but not the signature dishes Lucknow is famous for. With the help of friendly head waiter, our selection from North Indian offerings consisted of Chicken Tangri Kabab, chicken in gravy, Paneer Butter Masala, Gobi & Dalfry accompanied by Tandoori Roti.<br/><br/>Chicken tangri kababs were soft and juicy. chicken in gravy was also tender, but the gravy was in excess. Paneer butter masala, consisted of soft paneer cubes in an orange gravy, and quite delicious, but again we found a profusion of gravy. Also, we appreciated that the tandoori rotis were made of atta, instead of mixture of atta & maida used in many places.<br/><br/>Service was prompt and friendly and the place was clean, with neat decor and seating.<br/>Overall, the palace is a safe bet for a regular meal, nothing outstanding though.

I had visited this restaurant so many times. In the early beginning when it was opened they used to serve very delicious food but of late they detriorate the taste and quality. However in my recent visit I found that they again improve themselves. I love hot n sour soup of this restaurant. Rest starters are also good. In main course, i had ordered north indian food it was just fine. Coming to ambiance and location, I would say ambiance is decent one and location is superb it is in everyone's reach. Prices are ok seeing the location and food. Service is good but little slow. Ome more thing is that at night, during 8 to 10 u will face lot of rush there, there is always waiting line at dinner time. I would recommend to go and dine out there.

Went for family dining yesterday and ordered <br/>Honey chilli potato ,cheese pizza ,mix veg noodle ,dry paneer Manchurian for starters which was completely delicious buy the main course was not at all satisfying the butter chapatis was too hard to be tear apart and the butter paneer was way too sweet than regular which completely spoiled my taste bud although the biryani and mix vegetable was good so all an all it was an average experience

Salt has become one of the popular dine out places in Lucknow over the couple of years. Besides it's multi cuisine menu, the restaurant has gained popularity on account of its strategic location, attractive interiors and staff's hospitality. The pricing however does not seem to do justice to the food.

This place is a "has been". There was a time when the food was lip smacking, but of late, it has lost its edge. Haven't been there in at least a year and half, so I don't know what are they up to now.

Yes! The place is worth eating. The starters are a good kick-start to quench the appetite and every snack is finger licking. I mostly prefer this place for good dining and value of money. Only the reason is that they have to focus more upon the main course and the equal balance of spices. What u mostly love here is honey chilli potato, chicken appetizers and etc.. Awesome. Salt serves very good food at reasonably affordable prices. I have been to this place a number of times. The Chinese is good. Moreover, the starter platter is an amazing dish that serves different starters so u don't have to order different snacks.<br/>All in all, its a good place.

Service not upto mark. I had reserved a table prior to the day i had to go. I did even confirm thrice and they confirmed the table. But on reaching the venue, on the booked time, one person said that it is not booked. Then on further enquiry, he told the wrong time. And later on too, we were made to wait 20-25 min. Is this what we should expect from a reputed restaurant?

This is the place you look for when you're just extremely hungry and you want hog in a lot of food at a reasonable price. The quantity of food ordered by them is good, but the service is a bit slow. The ambience is fine but the seating arrangement is not good. The walls are cracked and it is clearlt visible, the table had some dust on it when visited it. Finally talking about the food, we ordered Honey chilly potato and Dragon paneer for starters, again the quantity and the taste of the food, both were amazing. The honey chilly was crispy and had the apt amount of tanginess and sweetness in it. The dragon paneer was delicious with soft and tender paneer. Then for the main course we ordered a paneer do pyaaza, garlic nan and missi roti. The quantity qas fine but the garlic nan was extremely heavy. We were not able to finsih up the whole food which we had ordered. I liked the food there, hoping to visit anytime soon again.

This is an ideal place to hv lunch or dinner with ur family. <br/>On our visit to salt we ordered soup and honey chilli potatoes for starters and Manchurian & garlic rice for main course. All the dishes were delightful. <br/>They staff was very friendly. Ambience ws clam n nice.<br/>Over all a great experiences! 👍

Salt was better than what i expected! A nice family restaurant. The food quality was up to the mark. The service too was quite good and this plc is also pocket friendly. I would love to visit it again ! 😃

Just One Word for this restaurant.... It's a damn mess!!!! Such a worst service quality....If u can call it service at all. Everyone including the manager was confused and dejected,waiters on being reprimanded were complaining against the manager. The servings in a full plate of a dish was not enough for even one person, glasses were dirty and ambience and hygiene of seating area were full of filth and leftovers.Overall a horrific experience....😤😤😤

Salt restaurant was one of my favorite and i have visited the restaurant 4 to 5 times and must say that they are maintaining the quality of food and service and the food is appropriately price and worth the money. Portion size is huge for everything.

We ordered 4 starters... 2 veg and 2 non veg.<br/>Along with that we ordered 2 soft drinks.<br/>We were done with 3 starters and still we never got our soft drinks.. <br/>In the starters we had fish finger and crispy chicken along with crispy honey chilly potato and mushrooms.<br/>The fish was stale and tasted horrible and on questioning them about it they denied it.<br/>The crispy chicken was not at all crisp...<br/>The crispy honey chilly potato had no salt and no taste as well.<br/>The person serving our table didn't even have the courtesy to server us the food. The food was literally just dumped on our table...<br/>Over all a very bad place to visit.<br/>Would never recommend it to anyone.

Located on a main road, Salt is a good restaurant for fine dining. We visited this restaurant for a team lunch. Down to my analysis:<br/><br/>Food- We order almost all the starters that were there on the menu and I tasted them all!! To my surprise, most of the starters were toothsome and delicious. The non-veg. starters were better than the veg. ones. Chicken lollipop and Dragon Chicken are must tries. The chicken was ambrosial. Honey chilly potato and cheese and corn balls were delicious as well. Paneer Tikka and Hara-bhara kebab were mainstream. In the main-course, chicken lababdaar was delightful. However, the chef's special, Murg Lazeez wasn't that good. Other food items were also palatable.<br/>4/5<br/><br/>Ambiance- It's a small place with adequate seating arrangements. Salt is a lil restaurant tucked in the by lanes of hazratganj in Lucknow, and is directly opposite to the hotel we were putting up in, India Awadh!<br/>We walked late evening for a quick dinner, and we were happily surprised with the delicious food. <br/>We ordered aaloo dum benrasi, potatoes stuffed with paneer, and dry fruits, made in a sumptuous dum gravy, with yellow daal, zeera rice and naan. <br/>The portions are huge, three people can happily feed on the food we ordered, and taste is that of a perfect Indian meal, i would not expect anything less from lucknow, the city of delicious food itself. <br/>The ambience is nice, the place is fairly crowded, but dont expect much from the service here. <br/>Ps: they don't accept cards, they have a machine but it's useless:P

Idk why people are crazy about salt. It does not have anything special to retain their customers. Just like an ordinary restaurant offering similar dishes wiht no niche. I have visited it three times and tried a diff cuisine each time. Their chinese is no different thing. One can find easily find such dishes anywhere else, and mughlai is also average. However..the place was overall good ( thats why the ratings). But one should try this place..i just shared my opinion.

I wnt fr a frn's bdy party...d place is quite gud wid courteous staff and a huge sitting area... v ordered fried rice wid manchurian and grilled cheese sandwich which were gud to eat...d quantity of d food dey served ws sufficient fr 2 ppl...sandwiches wr damn tasty...its a pocket-friendly place wid a good match of their food quality and quantity

When u go to this place at night,its tough to find a table,but the location of this place is good. The crowdy place in itself shows the success of this restaurant,it provides delicious indian meals and other cuisines as well. Food quality and service is excellent with reasonable rates . Interior quality is very good and gives touch of luxury.Overall it is a lovely place to dine with family and gives a essence of true family restaurant.

First to start with , location is good , Valet parking is available ,  Main is food . Its taste is good be chinese, indian etc. Seating is also good .<br/>Main things rates are reasonable , However , Menu is old available in every restaurant. Nothing new or exclusive . Nice to entertain guest on Sundays or offie lunches .

Been here just once but had good experience - paneer butter masala , dal tadka, veg biryani , spring roll , pineapple raita and breads was really good 👍🏻 and good & quick service😊

Hello Salters, where were you all my life? If SALT opened during my school days, I'd been probably found here sitting all day, bunking my classes. The food is so so yummy and makes you want more. Such moderate prices, for the yummiest food ever, its unbelievable. Small, family/friendly place and amazing service. Needless to say 5/5

I have been to this place for several times. Their pizza is just outstanding. Service is prompt. Easy to locate, much of parking available. Not that expensive. Donot try the mango drink in their menu it's really bland in taste.

I was totally floored! The service was sharp, the ambience was pleasant and most importantly the food was orgasmic without any over-the-top price tag. I happen to go twice the same day, so i can say for sure that it was not by chance! The Quantity was pretty generous as well. I don't think i will be going to any other restaurants in Lucknow for a long long time to come!<br/>

Good food with a little awkward seating arrangement. Service needs a little look-over. Food is of decent quality especially Chinese. On addition to it, they serve you with proper presentation.

This place confused me the multiple times I went. The same dish was awesome once and totally not worth it other times. Overall decent ambience, easy on the wallet place with decent food.

We went to this place for a group get together. The restaurant didn't attend to us for 20 minutes. Then after asking them again and again, one of the waiter attended. The starters took another 25 minutes and a response from the waiter "aap log kahani suniye-sunaiye, jab aana hoga aa jaega". After that we kept calling waiters to place the order for main course but none of them were willing to attend. They preferred to watch a cricket match and attend a table full of girls rather than taking our order. After 20 minutes of trying, we asked for the bill. The waiter then apologized but blamed the delay on the absence of manager as nobody was assigned our table. Another waiter however was very rude and brought the bill. We called the junior manager who accepted the delay but remaining unapologetic. He refused to give us the feedback register making the excuse that it lies with the manager. It was a disgusting experience to be precise. <br/><br/>As for the food, the veg kebabs were pathetic with nothing else making a mark. Will not recommend anyone.

Visited for my birthday party with friends and colleagues. Waited for 15 minutes for water. Then another 25 minutes to place order for starters. They arrived in another 20 MINUTES. WAITERS REFUSED to take order for dinner. Pathetic service. Worst service ever. Please avoid going here. Food is poor too. Cant fathom such disgusting service by a restaueant in the middle of the city.

This place is like a home to me. I have been to this place infinite times and it never dissapointed me. It always seems to me like a new place. Their cost, hospitality, serving speed, ambience, taste all are above awesome. If you want a decent & quiet place then this is it. Whether you want to spend family time, personal time or fun with friends this place is best for all. Spacious. Can accomodate 10-12 number of people at one table. Undoubtedly worth a visit.

A relatively new place in town, this restaurant has grown leaps and bounds since its inception and the primary reason for this is the food (duh) and its amiable environment. The interiors may make you check your wallet before ordering, but the menu dispels all such doubts. Great food at great prices.

Having visited this place a couple of times, I can now establish that Salt is an opportunity missed of what could have been a really sought-after place for lunch or dinner.<br/><br/>The food here is generally good but the service is so slow that it'll make you cry. The staff has some kind of hearing disability and they listen to you only when you start waving your hand vigorously along with calling them out loudly. They are well dressed and well behaved but not well trained.<br/><br/>The order takes ages to come but at least the quality of the food is good, though nothing exceptional. The quantity justifies the prices.<br/><br/>The ambience is nice and the seating is good. The location of Salt is excellent. It is located on Sapru Marg, the same road which houses Blue, Dominos, Cocoberry etc.<br/><br/>You can give it a try for a change (if you are not in a hurry though) and who knows, you might get lucky with their service!

Have tried Veg Food a couple of times here, and felt that the quality of food has degraded. However the ambience is great but not very well maintained.

So , its a couple days back i went to have lunch here . Firstly the table we were provided was broken , duh . Pretty much , that said it all . Ordered fish fry with tartar sauce which was really tasty . Along side that thai noddles with gravy which came out to be tasteless as it had not the right amount of salt in it , woow what an irony given the fact that the hotel name is SALT .

This restaurant is really appealing..has good ambience.. Service is great..and the food is delicious! Paneer Kali mirch is one of my favs...

I visited the Hazratganj branch first time and as expected was not disappointed at all with the food quality. The place was crowded with waiting queue. This made the service a bit clumsy. Overall a decent experience and a very good family restaurant.

A cool place to hang.. It has ample space,nice food..but the service is very slow/poor. They didn't have ice cream or mocktail. The starters are very nice and they give too much. Just after eating starters and soup our stomach got full. We couldn't eat main course. Next time u go try to order less starters...

A good family restaurant...<br/>They serve delicious food..chicken in curries is luscious...the kabab platter is something you must try....<br/><br/>P.S.they serve in a good quantity... So pls re-think before ordering too much ;)

Salt... is indeed a place to visit. Nice ambiance, the food was rightly priced and it was tasty as well. being a Vegan, tried only the veg stuff and that tasted  good.hopefully Non-veg also seems to be good. The dishes were usually same as you would find in most of high classed restaurants but some dishes were different. I tried Mix Veg grilled ... though its a sabzi but we enjoyed it as a salad..<br/>overall.. Salt is worth a try for your taste buds.

Have been to this place a couple of times.. This place is overcrowded on the weekends which does not please me at all. The food is pretty reasonable and good for a fine dine ...<br/>But the taste of the delicacies lack consistency!! Its like you repeat your order and it won't be as good. <br/>Still way better than many other fine dines in Lucknow. So yes I'd recommend it if you dont want to spend much for an above average dinner.

Value for money. Perfect pricing of all items. Perfect taste.....Everytime i ordered something different from that of previous visit. And everytime i was happy with all that they served. Quantity ....damn they satisfy you there as well.<br/>Must go

We had Peking soup and salt n pepper corn . The soup was too watery and oily with very little veg and mostly the noodles. The corns were satisfactory.. a little less spicy but those u can always add. Overall not as expected. Salt Aligani is way better.

I have been a regular visitor at Salt, Aliganj. its a little different than that at the Hazratganj one. The ambience, the staff and the taste of the delicacies are decent enough. I would say; they need to improvise a little to match up with the Aliganj one. All in all, another decent dining option in Lucknow.

I just love the food served here..i went wid my frnds for a treat...the ambience was calm n peaceful..the theme tht thy hav used is just awesome :)<br/>The white decor of this place..is what makes it perfect..plus d taste of d food..umm its just yum.. :)<br/>I specially love d pizza served here..it's taste is out of world..<br/>My all other frnds went here for d first tym..bt thy didnt regret thr choice...<br/>Overall..great experience :)

The quantity serves is pretty good, the service seemed fine, but they messed up my Paneer dish. Twice.<br/>Also, I'm not a fan of Baked Vegetables, but theirs was good.

A nicely build restaurant in a nice location in hazratganj..the ambiance of the place is also quite nice but I didn't find the food that appealing, the staff also is not that nice. It's a nice restaurant if You don't wish to spend much and want to go fr fine done to an extent

Been here with my family and found it to be a very great place. I went in with the impression that the quantity served in very less but found out that its totally wrong. The food is delicious, the ambience is nice and the staff is courteous. Overall a great and delicious place. Will give it 4 out of 5.

First of all its a great place for veg and non veg food.the salt special chicken tangdi masala was ordered and it did take quite to be served but it was worth the wait .it was delicious and I was totally satisfied with the dish..the staff was very nice and the price is also okay...overall its a must place to visit for every food lover

Food is good, nice ambience, great service... Enjoyable for a family or a couple meal... Must try is the biryani and afghani chicken...!<br/>Not too expensive... Worth the money you pay...!
