This chaat house the best aloo tikki chaat I've ever had in my life.. more than anything available here this chaat with dahi and other ingredients is the best and most tasty chaat .. this one of the many places one should visit while in Lucknow. Although there is no parking spot dedicated to this shop.. its better to take uber or rickshaw to reach here but all the hard work pays while having the chaat. If you have your car and want to venture, there is a multi level parking area nearby, park your car there and walk down some 300 to 400 mtrs and reach this place.. a must have chaat.. yummy

Taste is quite good .... chaat and dahi bada are are the highlights of the shop ....you won't be disappointed by the taste .. one of the most preferred choice for evening snacks by the coaching going students in this area ......

The aloo and the mutter tikki were absolutely brilliant . Crispy , hot and well done ! The other chats were ok ( there is a batasha one which I could not try ) opens early evening till about 9:30pm . 🤩 it got very crowded but the gents do an awesome job in completing orders asap

This is the best place to have chaat, golgappe and other snacks. They serve the best matar chat in the whole city and is one of my favourite topped with lemon juice. It is crunchy and full of flavours.they serve golgappe too. This is definitely an iconic place in the streets of Lucknow

Nice place you can visit At least once. I tried here Aloo Chaat which costs ₹50, it tastes great. I personally loved it, even i saw some dry fruits in the chaat which makes it worth of ₹50. The shop owner said he makes chaat in Desi Ghee that makes the food rich & high quality. Must visit place for everyone. Every lucknowites know this place very well. Had ordered 6 single tikki’s and 3 plates of dahi batasha, the amount of meetha dahi sent by them was sufficient for only 3 single tikki’s. We had to manage somehow with that little quantity of meetha dahi. Also the tikki’s were very bland and had gotten cold during transit. Had a below average experience.

We went to have chat at this place. While ordering , I was shocked to observe hygiene standards here. He is storing eatables right next to and on top of open gutter flowing under his shop. This was an eye opener. Can you even think of dahi , saunth and other eatables being stored on top of a dirty gutter. I wonder why municipality allows such joints to operate. This is a threat to public Health.

Dahi bada is very bad. Dahi is very sour and contaminated . Such items hamper the health of customers . Much worse than I think. Ask Zomato not to deliver such items . Very disappointed.

One of the renowned and oldest shops in Lucknow serving us from the decades in the heart of the city. This place is known for it's street food. But I feel they should work on their quality. They have downgraded their quality. I tried their Aaloo Tikki at this place after around 5 years but I did not find the taste as it was earlier. Though its a crowded place and they are serving lots of people at a time but they should maintain their quality as well. The prices are somewhat similar as compared to the other places.<br/>This place is not a highly recommended one from my end. And if you visit their do let me know your experiences.

After trying out the non vegetarian delicacies of Lucknow and having spent the evening at Imam Bara, we(I along with my friends) were looking to try out some snacks for the evening. I had heard a lot about Shukla Chaat House from fellow foodies on Instagram and we headed straight to Hazratganj from Imam Bara. After all, what better choice for snacks than Chaat, when in Lucknow.<br/><br/>It was around 6.30 in the evening when we reached there and the shop was moderately crowded. We started with GolGappe. The jaljeera used in Golgappe was extremely salty and had no other flavor whatsoever. They had a pretty disappointing taste and I couldn't have more than two. Next was 4 plates of Tikki, one for each of us. The tikki was served hot and crisp topped with dahi, saunth(sweet chutney), mint chutney, coriander and potato flakes. The best thing I like about Chaat at most place in UP is that they top it with crispy potato flakes which take the taste to a whole new level. The saunth had brilliant flavors. It was the best Tikki I have had until then. Lastly, I tried one plate of Matar Chaat. It was prepared in the same way as the Tikki. The matar contained too much of Garam Masala and lacked a certain freshness. The texture was a bit dry and they ruined all the impression that Tikki had left on my taste buds. It was just inedible and I couldn't eat more than one bite.<br/><br/>Bottom line is if you ever visit this shop do try out the Tikki but please refrain from having anything else on the menu. I wonder how one dish at a shop can stand out so extraordinarily while other dishes don't even make upto an average taste.

Shukla Chaat House is quite popular in Ganj area. We tried their famous matar ki chat, which is something very unique to Lucknow. The matar tikki was quite yummy and so was the chaat prepared with it. Even the alu tikki and other chat items looked yummy. If you are visiting Hazratganj area and are fond of chats, I do recommend this place.

Small place at Hasratganz. But it serves delicious Alu tikki chat. Along with Alu tikki chat, we also had dahi bhale which was also very tasty.

I went Lucknow for my official work, post getting free from daylong meetings I asked driver to take me to a place where I can get authentic taste of Gol gappe (patashe) and chat. This is one old chat house of Lucknow. By looks it appears to be actually very old. The utensils used are very old i guess. U have to stand on road and eat chaat. No seating available. Now coming to the taste, the chaat is good. The matar chaat is also very good in taste. Pani ke batashe are very crispy and tasty. Overall a good experience.

Hey I had multiple items from here n all r good.Dahi batasha is 4 of 35 rs which ka not worthy at all. Taste is okay kind of as it's similar to everywhere taste.not extra ordinary but rate is higher as compared and at some points quantity is lesser. But u won't feel taste neglected.

Chaat is a chaat .. But to try some goodness of taste just switch to shukla chaat house .. either Golgappa or chaat both are nice.. If want to try matar chaat go for it but remember its not like aaloo tikki chaat but quite different.. Matar ki tikki with jest if lemon 🍋 to engance the taste & done .

This is the only Chaat stall I prefer going to whenever I crave for chaat. Perfect crisp of the chaat and its taste is heavenly. It is a very small outlet but from the crowd present there one can conclude why it is the favourite place for people in lucknow for a plate of chaat.

Lucknow is not all about non-veg food, you can find chaat bhandar in every alley of it, & then you <br/>find Shukla Chaat bhandar in Hazratganj.<br/>When you visit them, do try their pani batashe & crispy aloo tikki. Pani batashe will be slightly spicy, but it all worth it.

When at Hazratganj, this is the second best place to have gol gappas and aloo tikkis. The shop is very old and small, still you'll have to queue up for your number. The tastes are flavoursome.

Amazing chaat . Price is cheap. One of the best chaats of Lucknow. You can sit in your car and enjoy chaat in a dona. Paani batashe are extremely good, matar and tiki are also very good. It's near Saint Francis. It opens mostly in the evening perhaps.

The street food vendor sells golgappe, Aloo tikki etc. I<br/>Swear I have never had this version of golgappe before in my life. I can never forget the taste of yummy Pani Batasha aka Pani Puri.
