Just left to the Tunday Kebabi lies another legendary age old Biryani shop of Lucknow. Popularly known as Wahid Biryani.
Eating at this place is also like biting into the history of Lucknow. Like the name suggests this please specialises in Biryani. And the taste they provide is just unmatchable.
Ate at this place a little while ago and found them unchangeable. I suggest everybody whosoever comes to lucknow should try this place out.
It seems that this restaurant has the potential to reach the heights of cuisine and non veg food but the problem is just is the ignoring or you may call insensitive staff,otherwise this place is great according to the price margin.
I am huge fan of muglai food and being a lucknowite I miss lakhnavi zyaka in delhi. On my every visit at Lucknow is always a tour to these non veg joint. Recently i had visited wahid briyani to have my favourite briyani and other awadhi food. First of taste of food was very delicious and scrumptious. They have quick service and courteous staff. I had briyani , mutton boti and chicken kali mirch. For its a 5/5 star service
I had ordered butter chicken....it was awesome....i loved the food.....they serve very tasty food..but i am disappointed because they send less pieces now .....otherwise its awesome
A nice flavour to the Lucknavi Biryani quite different from other places I have had biryani. Suggested by a friend was a nice visit tasting the street and staple food of Lucknow

Good authentic Mughal cuisine taste . Chicken biryani is good. Lot's of chicken peices in just half a plate of 110/- bux.
Biryani was good but underrated galawati kebabs are way better than my expectation.

Lucknow is famous for its Biriyani and Wahid Biriyani is one of them.
We had had the Biriyani and it was really awesome. The quantity was so good, and the rice quality was really fantastic. There were almost 3-4 pices of mutton and size was quite good.
The ambiance was good and highly recommended if you are the biriyani lover.

Tried the chicken biryani (mutton wasn't available), mutton kaleji and fried chicken. Though this place is very small with limited seating arrangement bang in the middle of the bustling Aminabad market but the food is just amazing.
Biryani is light and fluffy and extremely flavourful.
Chicken fry was just perfectly done and not overdone which is what you get in most of the places.
Overall a 5* from me and a must try place whenever you are in Lucknow.
Wahid Biryani is a well known restaurant situated just next to the Tundey Kebabs in Aminabad Market old Nazirabad Road. This is a small restaurant with limited seating arrangement and a limited dishes menu. I've eaten their biryani both mutton and chicken earlier, but this time when I went there I tried their Boti Kebab. Believe me this dish the Chicken Boti kebab took my heart away, I was surprised that I hadn't tried this heavenly dish before. Boti kebabs being my all time favourite whenever I visit lucknow in future Wahid Biryani Aminabad becomes a must visit restaurant for me, Boti kebab will be my first priority after that their delicious Biryani.
The manager of this outlet is very humble He looks out personally for the customers needs and tries his best to serve the best. He told me that they are planning to open one outlet in Delhi. I'm eagerly waiting for their branch in Delhi.
The place is located in aminabad. Very appetising food. Chicken Birayani was very good.
There are two wahid biryani. Look out for the one immediate to tunde kebab.
The place has some cleanness issues though. But still manageable.
Summary- Pocket friendly, good for students, family-friendly, seating available, fast service, friendly staffs and a large variety of options on the menu.
Wahid biryani is one of the well known places that serve authentic awadhi biryani. Located in aminabad just next to tundey kababi. There is room for sitting inside but it's a small cramped space. The biryani is good, although nothing out of the world. Their chicken biryani is famous. Kebabs are also available here.
Went Here from Aurangabad Just To taste a Briyani but I found it average. Or Over rated
But remaning Food like:
Chicken boti
Galauti kebab
Chicken tandoori
Butter was good.
My advice is if u have travelled from outside of up u may find everything average here.
as the name suggests place is famous for its biryani though the places serves variety non veg dishes like boti kabab, chicken tikka , chicken masala etc. wahid biryani is situated in aminabad next to tunday kebabai. however old outlet that serves only chicken biryani is situated in aminabad in a narrow lane opposite to its on road outlet. both the places are congested and have very small sitting area . if ur are looking for ambiance this is not the place you are looking for. this place is for true foodies who are wandering for true true lucknowi flavour.
one should go to this place while visiting lucknow.
