Review Shri Durgma Restaurant - Lucknow

Tasty khichdi, and aloo kulcha, varied selection of sabzi, and fast service. The food was fresh. Would definitely come back to try their many paneers and Dhals. I would recommend having a toilet available for customers to use. Thalis for under 200.

Whosoever is trying to review it below a 4 is definitely misleading others. I read the reviews looks like a copy paste job by all . Now coming to the restaurant , it could be termed as one of the best places for vegetarians . I ordered missi roti n dal which tasted awesome, the service is lighting quick as well . So people pls do visit the place and get some authentic dhaba style food !

Ordered Lunch from one of the renowned restaurants in Lucknow- Durgma Restaurant which is located at Lagbagh (basement), in front of sharma tea. ⭐What I ordered- Paneer Handi, paneer butter masala, dal makhani, baigan ka bharta, gulab jamun, kheer, breads. Had a great experience as the food was highly palatable and inexpensive. The place is famous for its North Indian cuisine and serves delectable Vegetarian food. Also I would like to highlight, they don't use cream in their dishes, not even now. They use dry fruits & seeds making the gravy rich & creamy and not at all unhealthy. It is now open for dine-in but i preferred ordering in. This also reminds me of the standard packaging, everything was sealed and very nicely packed. The breads turned out to be so soft even after 1hour of delivery. I'll definitely recommend to try out their dishes. You can order via zomato/swiggy or Dine-in. And be careful of the name you search on zomato, it's just 'Durgma Restaurant' and the basement one if you dine-in.

It's very old restaurant which i know from my childhood. If you ignore the ambience and hospitality then the quality of your lunch dinner is very good comparitively with costly restaurant. I am just talking about the food so it's not good if you compare with big restaurants where you will have great seating experience. It's in budget as well so you can go and try at once. This feedback is for the basement Durgama restaurant.

Tasty food, good service, a.c.hall for tables Dishes available at 1/2 plate quantity. So no wastage. Reasonable prices. Better food place for middle class.

The Hotel is situated at nice spot, quite crowded but can be easily spotted. Its infront of famous Sharma ji ki Chai Service was very fast and responsive Food was good for some items and some items were average, On whole if ur Vegan or happen to eat veg due to some particular day, then this hotel is best bet in town full of Nonveg stars

if you are not in search of ambience but in search of north indian food, this is just the right place. prices are super affordable. great in taste. No car parking space available so you need to park in multi level parking.

It is good, if you want the home made and fresh tandoori roti, you can try it we are eating it since 2002

Good simple food ... I got so hooked that I kept going there through out my stay .. they also do deserts .. the sabjis are really good ...just a bit heavy on the oil so you need to them to lower the oil quantity

Go to place for authentic dhaba style food in the middle of the city. Rarely eat at the restaurant but rather get it delivered home to get good food at really affordable price with great quality.<br/>Even though it is affordable the quantity is good.<br/>

My paid order cancled after 40 min of receiving. At very late night. If i cancle than zomato charge penaulty. Now i am facing this problem at this time. Its very bad responce zometo and hotel both.

I got my order without proper packaging. Taste was worst. Quantity was very less. If you will hope for full plate after paying for full plate , you will get half plate.

I ordered a veg thank from this place ..n too my disappoinment I didn't like the food at all .The Thaal consist of dal makhni,raita,shahi paneer,rice,mix veg and in dessert they served kheer.. accompanied by two naans.. I wasn't very impressed by the quantity too.Dal makhni n paneer was too spicy. Mix veg also didn't impressed me much.however their raita n kheer were the saving grace..

The palce serves some great variety of food. If we talk about the ambiance it is not one of those swanky restaurant but yeah has a decent arrangement. The place is always crowded. <br/>Talking about the taste the food is really awesome. Talking about the service I visited this place long time back and found the service quite slow. They took about 40 minutes to serve my food.

Located in lalbagh, near novelty theatre has been the choice of the town for many years. Prices are quite reasonable and ambience is not that good. Food is very tasty and it has the taste of food of one's home. I will suggest it to anyone who wants to eat tasty food in reasonable price.

This is a good option for vegetarian food lovers the items here are limited but have good quality of food I tried from here so many times and never got disappointment, Shahi paneer is mah favourite.

Maa Durgama Restaurant, formerly known as the tent wala restaurant had a great history serving delicious north Indian food. But the quality of the food has been deteriorating day by day.

This restaurant is quite good, the food here is fresh and nicely prepared, I have tried paneer butter masala here, it had a very good taste and the paneer was also fresh and soft.

Going this place since year 2000.Pocket friendly food.Quick service and delivery....However sometimes hygiene is an issue.Food is good but always too oily.Malai Kofta and Matar Paneer are to try for.

If you want North Indian cuisine, then this is the right place for you!! The taste of this restaurant will satisfy you to the core! Seating is not the best but I am ok with that as this place is all about food, not seating or any other thing for that matter!

I went to the restaurant with a hope of good breakfast..To be honest I would not suggest anyone to even think for once to try it out . The delivery of food is very late and staff is not polite . They bring your food in a condition u can’t eat . Taste is below average I ordered allo parataha .. they don’t serve even curd with that . I wish they change the management and revamp their way of looking at customer service if they really wanna people to visit the restaurant .

Visited this place long back, when there was only one Durgama. It was then a small crowded place, but relished the vegetarian food. Quantities of the servings were less, but it was value for money. Recently, I tried to go again here, but surprised see 2 Durgamas and both are calling or pestering the customer. I really felt disgusted and came back.

A nice option for typical North Indian veg homely food. Food is simple but very and give you a feel of home cooked food. Dal Tadka and paneer masala are must try.  You will get tawa roti or chapati. You can have lassi or kheer as desert. You can also try paratha variety and can even try for thali meals.. Service is quick. Price is also pocket friendly.

Seems like they keep salted color water and make it up as per orders. <br/>We also ordered paneer bhurji, they also served it Very carelessly. They had just cut the pieces of paneer and served it with some color and spices. <br/>Only thing they served right was saunf and mishri with bill. <br/>Then we swore never to visit this place again.

Aaj mai kafi dino baad aya lucknow aya hu so lunch mei ek restradunt dekha jaha kafi rush tha toa maine bhi try kiya dekhte hai kaise hai khanna.<br/>Toa ji maine waha ki special dal tadka fry and paneer pyaza order kiya.<br/>Dal tadka kha ke ghar ki yaad aa gyi pure desi ghi se ladi dal kha ke maza aa gya,aur paneer pyaza bhi kam nhi thi wo bhi zabardast bani hui thi,sath mei maine ek lassi bhi bol di methi ek dam thandi badiya mast maza aa gya pi kar.
