Review Sura Vie - Lucknow

You will never get bored with this place. Sura Vie surprises with amazing food everytime we visit. This time we ordered Veg Lemon Coriander Clear soup along with two chicken starters which were just mind blowing. For the main course we ordered Ghee roasted mutton along with minced chicken naan. Highly recommended for foodies I must say.

Was a great day here. Food was good but a little on the spicier side. The ambience was great. A quite place with good music on the background. In all, a good place to be with your friends and dear ones. The also have a rooftop area for the open air lovers.

Ambiance is good. Various types of food and food arrangements are served here. I like rooftop restaurant here most. Welcome drinks are also good. But one i think they charge more for than they deserve.

Nice place right on husaria chauraha. Very courteous and friendly staff. Service is very good. Food is also good. You have live music on rooftop. Only problem I see here is parking.

Good ambience, fantastic food but service needs improvement. Had tasty threaded prawns, american chopsuey and black pepper chicken with mushroom and corn

Nice place for dining arranged by chef Sanjeev Kapoor. All meals having which I have ordered contained chukandar resemble a red Color which is unique and healthy. A good and unique interior. Nice sculpture inside.

It is a good restaurant with delicious food but little expensive. Location is also not very good because the turn in front becomes busy in evenings. Ambience is nice when you go to top. Worth a visit. Menu can be enlarged.

Awesome ambience, great location, delicious food and nominal pricing. I enjoyed every bit of it. The quality of food went beyond my expectation and I really recommend the place to everyone who is looking for a perfect place for small gathering party or any casual dining experience. Its just besides shaheed path within Gomti nagar. Really easy to find. Have valet parking and all necessary stuff that a person would expect in a restaurant or party hall. I woll sum up my review by saying that it was a value for money experience, every single penny spent was worth it. Highly Recommended !!

Cuisine is good, food is tasty and serving is quick but it is expensive...

The place has a beautiful ambience and has a well organised rooftop seating arrangement for the people.The food served is of very good quality and quantity and taste satifies your taste buds though the rates are a bit high.The place serves alcohol with offers available at times on it. The place has good staff and hospitality.All in all great hideout to dine inn with family and friends.

Sura vie is my all time favourite, whenever i have plans with my huge group of friends and family the first place comes to my mind is sura vie because of its spaciousness, very comfortable sittings for any size of groups, ambience is warm and welcoming, staff is very co-operative, food is amazing. And lots of picture perfect spots so i really like it and highly recommended.

The manchow soup was quite average<br/>apart from that, the stir fried chicken noodles were also pretty ordinary.. it seemed that the veggies and the chicken used in it was stale because of their taste as well as the texture<br/>overall would give it a miss and did not have the courage to try anything else

Ordered a Thali and and a Biryani. Biryani tasted very bland and average and felt like normal rice was used to cook the same. Thali was satisfactory apart from dry vegetable which was just large chunks of carrot and beans and quite bland as well

I ordered Lalla Mussa Dal from here, it was simply amazing. I loved it so much. They had lots of variety of food, but they are on expensive side. Keep that in mind also. Amazing food over here. Do visit once.

Very poor service. There was only one staff who was attending all the tables, that's why we received our order very late. To aggravate the situation the food we received was bad in taste. Its a humble request kindly improve your service and food quality.

SAnjeev kapoor special. Located in Hussariya crossing just when u start for shaheed path. On the 2nd floor is the restaurant. Ambiance is decent but yes food was good. Lot of options to choose from chinese north indian and Italian. We ordered lasagne and chicken green thail curry. Both were very good and worth trying. Staffs can be more proactive and seems to be kinna lost. Rates are reasonable not highly priced. Serves mocktails and cocktails with offer of 1plus1. Food lovers must try.

One of the most worst experience i had in a while of dining in lucknow.The staff is not versed with the zomato gold terms and conditions it had taken 3 waiters and 25 mins to explain the offer of zomato gold on drinks.They were playing old cheap music on tv projector and when we complained they said that other customer has its remote,such a lame excuse.We didn’t order repeat but the waiter bring on the drinks without asking.We asked for regular water but that also is a problem for them giving some lame excuse that the regular water is not available on this floor.We have to wait fr 20 mins for our bill then when we get up the waiter told to do the billing downstairs and again we waited fr other 10 mins in the parking fr getting our bill.<br/>Its the height of unprofessionalism and careless attitude towards customers.<br/>We have ordered alfredo fuseli pasta and sura vie roasted chicken, pasta was good and roasted was average.<br/>Not going there anymore.

This place is known for its ambience, unique dishes & taste. It was too good till last time - around 3 months back. This time however it was a different experience. Waiters were acting extremely busy, inexperienced, not knowing much about dishes, serving wrong dishes. Happened with other people too. Overall experience was poor. Also - no heaters on rooftop (temp 7℃). Hope they improve.

Visiting Sura vie was always on my wish list, since it's my favorite chefs restaurant. So I finally visited it a few days ago. I simply loved the place. The interiors are absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant has a classy and rich feel to it because of the interiors. It caters to everyone's needs. Fine dine for Family, roof top and bar for youngster's. As per the food there are a few dishes that are my absolute favorite at Sura vie and that are Peru Pyala, quesadillas, shaam savera, dal makhni, Dhuandaar aloo chaat and the shahi tukda. These are a must have whenever you visit Sura Vie. Overall from the food to the ambience everything makes this place a perfect restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal with family or friends.

So I was at this place last sunday and had a cool time out here since the ambience is quite light and calm with pleasant music to sooth your ears.<br/><br/>I had thus veg nest which became my favourite as it had all the vegetables jelled properly with tomato soup with succulent flavours , then I liked the dhoadhar chakna chaat aloo which were really nice and juicy satisfying your palate some of the other dishes that grabbed my attention were puran singh chicken wala , sham savera and peru pyala .<br/>They were just commendable and a must try.

Recently visited Sura Vie with fellow food influencers for a Bloggers' Brunch. The restaurant can be easily spotted at Hussariya. They also have valet parking which is a plus point.<br/><br/>Moving to the interiors, the restaurant has some pretty interiors with good table arrangement. They also have projector TV to keep people entertained. And along with this, they also had a roof top area which had some nice decent view of the city and I would definitely want to go and spend some time in the evening there as they also have the bar availability there.<br/><br/>Coming to the food section, they have good variety of options to choose from. We were served with a welcome drink named Peru Pyala, which was a guava drink mixed with some spices and I liked the concept of the drink.<br/>In the starters, we had Vegetable nest, Exotic Quesadillas, Paprika Paneer Tikka, Mutton Malai Seek and Dhaniya Methi Murg. Among all of these I liked the Quesadillas , Vegetable nest as the vegetable nest was something I tried with that gravy and the Quesadillas had good filling of cheese and vegetables which I'm fond of. Also Dhaniya Methi Murg was also good.<br/><br/>Before the main course, we had some salads, which included Dhuaandhar Aaloo Chakhna Chat, which was something tangy and soft. I would definitely recommend people to try it.<br/><br/>In Main course, we had Lala mussa Dal which was a Dal Makhni and no doubt, it was lip smacking. I prefer to have it Butter Naan which were soft and went good with the Dal. Also we had Purana Singh Tariwala which was an average chicken dish. They also served Murgh Razala Biryani which had a different concept of stuffing caramelized onions in chicken pieces. It was different from the regular biryani we eat.<br/><br/>Deserts includes Shahi Tukda, 3-variant Kulfi and Gulabe Gulkand among which I liked Shahi Tukda and had it been a little less sweet i would have loved it coz I prefer less sweet. Kulfi was also good however Gulabe Gulkand was one dish dessert which lacked taste and I didn't like the mixture of Gulkand with it.<br/><br/>Service was good. The staff was quick and amicable too. However they can do better in handling a big bunch of people. Otherwise they were good at their task.

Wonderful ambience, food and service on the 3rd floor. Only suggestion is to make the seating a bit more comfortable. The low tables make it difficult to eat. Good place for families.

You are what you eat so never go for fast, cheap, easy or fake options. Great food choices are great investment and so was the amazing food menu at @suravielko that i recently experienced at a grand food meet with my amazing food bloggers fam. ❤️<br/><br/>1. The salads are always the greatest choice and if you will try this Aloo Chakna chaat, you would bless me for the suggestion. Crisp baby potatoes tossed with imly chutney and anaar seeds made my day totally. Price: Rs 150 plate is good for 3-4 people. <br/>2. The choice of starters make or break the menu completely. Well, this place definitely defines how important starters are for your meal. Among Dhaniya Methi Murg, Teen mirch Paneer Tikka and Mutton Malai Seekh, the later one clearly won my heart. Properly tandoor grilled, this choice of starter is a plate of creamy minced mutton slices. Price: A platter of Dhaniya Methi Murgh is for Rs 400, Paneer tikks is for Rs 310 and Mutton Malai Seekh is of Rs 500, enough for 3-4 people. <br/>3. Talking about the maincourse, being a hardcore chicken fan, i tried the very famous Puran Singh Tariwala which will give you the glimpse of the very famous dhaba styled chicken curry. Price: One full plate of tariwala is of Rs 420 which is enough to satiate the hunger of two people. <br/>4. My favourite part of the meal is ofcourse the Biryani. I have been known as the biryani person all through my life. The Murgh Rizala Biryani, with chicken pieces stuffed with golden brown onions is a type of dum biryani cooked with dried mangoes, red chillies and saffron rice. Price: One bowl of this special dum biryani was of Rs 445 and can easily serve a group of 2-3.

Location: Quite easily locatable near Husadiya Chuaraha.<br/><br/>Ambiance: It is divided into 2 sections, Fine Dine & Roof Top. Fine Dine is pretty good & spacious but the Window view is only for one table. Roof Top is a real class. Wooden floorings, stairs give a lavish feel. You can spend hours gazing at the infinity view & vehicles throttling on shaheed path. (With a perfect weather of course)<br/><br/>Food: Quite a skeptical part the menu is the menu goes really big but quite innovative names. Lalla Mussa Dal is something worth trying. Sham Savera is innovation in Paneer Butter Masala which is again worth trying. Carrabien Sunset is good fusion in the mocktails. Anglo Indian Bahaar is a veg amalgamation of some vegetables which can be likable to ones who prefer spicy. Being a Vegetarian, I asked my fellow friends about Non-Veg But did not get any good reviews so prefer trying veg. Shahi Tukda in desserts is little over sweet. The Gulab Jamun has a major Gulkand filling so don't try if you don't like the flavor. Matka kulfi is good but nothing exceptional. Gonna be trying out more from starters during future visits.<br/><br/>Favorites: Lalla Mussa Dal & Carrabien Sunset.<br/><br/>Service: I'm doubtful if they can handle Housefull because it was Noon with just 3 tables engaged and it wasn't that quick though they are very polite & friendly.<br/><br/>Price Meter: It'll go 4.5 out of 5. Feels overpriced with the quantity & quality.<br/><br/>Review: Overall a good place with a good company can make it a jolly time. I would definitely love to visit for the rooftop for a chilly breeze but quite skeptical that I'll travel 20 km just for food. Nothing extravagant with food which other fine dine are not serving.

Hi lucknowites, my first visit to Sura Vie, I was invited with fellow bloggers for brunch, starting with starters - ( Dhuwadar aloo chaat which nice tangy aloo) (Teen Mirch ka paneer tikka - which was really good & spicy marination done and very soft) ( Dhaniya Methi MURG - my fav ) (stir fried vegetables in nest- this dish I tried first time! Nice green vegetables with curry and deep fried noodles basket made) ( Exotic Quesadillas- this was the best dish) ( mutton malai seekh kebabs were pretty ok ok) ( chicken dum biryani was really good - the chicken pieces had filling of vegetables & herbs which was lil sweet ) ( Shaam Savera - spinach kofta this was best must eat) ( Rogan josh - good pieces of mutton cooked properly) ( shahi tukda was best in dessert) ( kulfi - kesar and mango kulfi must eat) talking about service it needs more smartness and more promptness! Very bad experience ordered veg platter that was pathetic after having dinner suffered from food poisoning. Staff was also not kind towards customers.

A classical case of ऊंची दुकान फीका पकवान..... Went there with lots of hope.... But was disappointed to see dismal and deteriorating standards of the Sanjeev Kapoor brand... Hope to see some course corrections at the earliest.

Wow wow wow wow interiors, lovely place to have variety in pics as well as in food. The food they serve was beautifully garnished and presented, which was good in quantity and quality. The only thing which did not satisfied me was their service which was really slow. But this place is recommended, will love to visit here again.

Suravue is a well decorated and peaceful resturant. I really appreciate their quick and wonderful service which they give to their customers. Their food is well presented and amazingly delicious. The food is has less oil. I am glad to say that suravie is a must visit place.😊

This is a well known restaurant as it is among the franchisee restaurants of great Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. As the restaurant have name of chef sajneev kapoor associated with it hence its their duty to provide best meals in the town. I went there for for the first time to have a family dinner and I would say that I did not make a mistake. The place have indoor restaurant at 2nd floor, rooftop cafe at 3rd floor and also a banquet at 1st floor. The place is designed in a very beautiful manner and interiors are good. Then paneer tikka was also not bad. Then we had their special paneer curry i.e. paneer taka tak that was awesome. Must try.Yellow daal tadka was just good. At the end we ordered chocolate brownie it was very tasty but matka kulfi dispppointed us though that complimentary rasgulla with that kulfi was tasty. Prices are fair. Service was very good. Presentation was also good not so much attractive but ofcourse good. Food is nice... Ambience is great... Overall ambiance is fantastic.. the price is also not very high... It's a great place to hangout with your friend and family!

इसके मैन्यू में लिखा है कि "Sura Vie rightfully is a combination of the words Sur (meaning a musical note in Sanskrit) and Vie (french word for life), भाई ये तो ठीक लिखे होंगे, पर इसके लाउंज में पहुंच के तो हमको लगा, 'सुरा यानी दारू, we.. यानी 'हम', सीधा मतलब दारू और हम'.. यही मतलब समझे हम. क्या किसम-किसम की दारू और काॅकटेल🍹, मज़ा आ गया। घबराइए नहीं यहाँ भोजन भी बहुत स्वाद मिलता है। शाकाहारी, मांसाहारी, नाश्ता, कॉफी सब कुछ. देसी पकवान जैसे पाव भाजी, वडा- पाव, तड़के वाली दाल, मसला भिंडी, रोटी, मिस्सी, चावल वगैरह, तो विलायती खाना पिज्जा, बर्गर, नाचो, सैंडविच भी बराबर मिलता है. मीठे का भी इन्तजाम है बढ़िया. सजावट एकदम चकाचक, बढ़िया म्यूजिक, और वेटर लोग भी चाक-चौबंद. हमको तो बहुत मज़ा आया, आप भी जाओगे तो खुश होजावोगे, पक्की बात है.

I love the ambience of Sura vie. It has one of the most beautiful ambience in Lucknow. They also greet us with enthusiasm. It has space for all - family, friends and couples. The price is worth the decor, ambience and food. They apply really cheap tax. The best food here is honey chilli potato and chicken minced kulcha. BBQ chicken and oreo shake also taste well.

We went to celebrate a friends’ marriage anniversary around four months back. Amazing food and drinks were served. I loved the ambience. Especially liked the Thai food there.

Great ambiance, snacks were amazing,a bit expensive for the competition but totally worth it. Nothing much to complain about it and Would recommend it for sure.

This place serves really good North Indian food . The Lulla musa dal commonly known as Dal Makhani cannot be missed . Also the signature dish by the chef Sanjeev Kapoor - Shaam Savera also gives a thumbs up to the place . The ambience is nice with good service . It might cost you a little more than the other places but the taste and quality of food completely justifies it . :)

Delectable! Amazing flavour in the Salsa accompaniment. Must try. 5/5<br/><br/>Kung pao chicken- spicy chicken pieces served in a peanut sauce. Just a tad bit more peanuty would have been nice. Easy 4/5<br/><br/>Lemon coriander soup - this clear soup is a classic and easy to go wrong with. Thankfully they didn't. Loved the flavours of lemon coming through.<br/><br/>Spinach and cottage cheese koftas served in buttery tomato gravy - the only problem with this dish Is the quantity of koftas. They served two koftas cut into half. Not done.<br/><br/>Garlic naan - aroma of the garlic was enough to excite the tastebuds. Yummy!<br/><br/>We paid 2600 for all this and a cocktail.<br/>

Ambience with live music was good.. Food was ok but portion size could have been better..I mean serving only 10 nachos is not worth the price!!!

Visited their open terrace seating area, & honestly, I didn't like the dark/intense interiors at first. But then the place gets cozy as you settle in; staff is humble. <br/><br/>Ordered Pepper chicken skewers. No doubt, it was good. But the portion size could have been better for the amount I paid. 😒<br/><br/>I liked the original The Yellow Chilli a lot more over this one.

Tried Virgin Mojito, Pizza, veg ala kiev, Paneer Chilli in Black pepper sauce and everything was worth it. One of the best places in Lucknow to offer such fine taste. This restaurant has been on my bucket list for the longest time. The places is easy to locate, and has variety of places to dine in. The fine dining restaurant is what we choose for our dinner. The staff is courteous just felt the place is too cramped up ,the tables are placed too close together. The menu is Indian, Italian and Chinese. For starters we ordered the rawa kumbh ke Moti basically stuffed mushrooms which was pretty bad. It was nothing like a stuffed mushroom infact it was mushroom stuffed in flour. Being the special for the day it was a let down. We den had the nimbu mirch tawa fish the portion was too tiny but it tastes good. Next for the main course we went for murgh rara for the non-veg which was spicy and yummy along with stuffed chicken kulcha. for the vegetarian we ordered aglio oleo which was probably the worst pasta I’ve had. Too dry and tasteless. Disappointed of the place I had high expectations with.

After having experienced several 'not SO good yet popular' eating joints in Lucknow, we finally decided to give it a try and YEAH we weren't disappointed! 😀<br/>Sura Vie has been the best till date. <br/>Food, ambience as well as service was up to the mark. “Attentive Service with Delicious food” this is what a person wants when he goes out for dinner with family or friends. Sura Vie by TYC was a place which i was planning to visit since a long time. Finally i can say my decision to visit this place was 100 % right. Amazing service with great food that too with  amazing view of the city from the top it literally offers an stunning views of the evening sky ,what more a person can demand for when he is a real foodie and needs a calm & peaceful place to spend some quality time with few special people. This is one place where cocktails move more than anything else. "Bharat"  was the one who helped us out in finding out the exact dish for the day. Over all a nice place to visit. The prices compliment the taste and ambiance.

Thought of giving a visit to dis place today...as expected it was decorated wid trio coloured balloons (d independence day effect)...<br/><br/>Well sura vie is a 3 storeyed banquet cum dining cum air lounge...wid d banquet on 1st floor...dining area on d 2nd and lounge was on d roof top which opens after 7 in d evening...v went dere fr lunch...<br/><br/>Staff ws attentive vry humble and skilled...n i fell in love wid d ambience..beautifully done giving a home-like appearance and also a touch of vintage...<br/><br/>In food v orderd paneer tikka, dum aloo, and tandoori rotis...all were perfectly cooked bt cud have been better cz i hav tasted panneer tikka and dum aloo better dan wat ws served here...<br/><br/>Bt i luvd being dere...service ws gud..price is on a higher side bt still affordable...my visit here in sura vie went worth👍

Good ambience first of all! Went there for a meet with friends in the evening. The staff was courteous it was the odd hour so no guest were there. We ordered chatpate aloo and mushroom from tandoor. Both items were excellent not to mention peanuts with vinegar onions n green chutney which were very good. Drinks were also good specially mango mint lassi.

Went in there looking for some decent food for my gang of 8. But my oh my were we blown away!<br/><br/>First and foremost I give credit for each and every dish that we had to our server .<br/><br/>Must try starters -   Fish n chips (crispy cover, soft inside), Hinkush kebab (cheesy goodness). <br/><br/>For the main course we had the Rogan Gosht, Chicken Ra Ra and the onion missi roti!  the chicken and mutton both were succulent and tasty!<br/><br/>Dessert must try - The Kesari Kulfi <br/><br/>All in all it was one of the most wonderful meals I have had in recent times! The food was below average and the service was worse than a below average restaurant. Every thing from water to napkins was being served after multiple reminders. Moreover after pointing out their laxity they were shamelessly smiling. It was a really bad experience and the only reason we would ever go again was the rooftop ambience. Else it's just not worth it.

Wao what a great place and ambience ,I ordered manchow soup,suravie veg platter and Lalla mussa Daal ,all are awesome,and pyaz Mirch ki roti was different from others ,in sweet dish Mango Toffee and Panna Cotta was mouth watering ,as mango season goingon what a dish ..great service with live music and polite staff

Carries the same Sanjeev Kapoor aura like the original TYC restaurant. Loved the fact food taste didn't vary even though the place changed. I highly recommend Lemon grass chicken tikka. It's worth every penny and probably the best Malai tikka you will find in Lucknow !
