Review Blue - The Lounge - Lucknow

Happened to go here by chance and found the place good.Ordered kadhai paneer, lemon rice and butter rotis and food was nice. The place is well decorated, however, it's need maintenance as the furniture and decor seems to have got old. It has got recreational things like a carrom board and a projector possibly to watch matches . There is ample space inside and the toilets were clean. Service was good. The place is located on Sapru Marg and easily reachable. There is limited parking space available infront of the lounge but there is ample parking nearby.

Fun, entertainment n the full on energetic environment I got to get in touch. Gotta chance to attend a bday party there... Awesome experience... Good place for small events like bday party n a normal get together. Kids enjoyed puppet show n adults enjoyed their drinks...

Blue is one of the old and popular lounge in lucknow.It has good ambiance, tasty food and lovely music. It's Good for private parties. Definitely you will enjoy your time here. Services can be Improved

Best interior decor but late services

It's a great place to hangout with friends with a seperate party area for which you have to do prior booking. You'll get food and beverages most of which are nice. Variety of hookah flavours are also available and you can smoke there too. Various types of seating arrangement is done so you can choose what suits you (8-10 people can sit max). It have a dim light ambience and background music which will give a soothing effect. Alcohol not available.

The place has a good vibe and the food is tasty too.. the only problem I faced is with your server who blocked my way and asked for tip, I gave him a 10Rs note after which he then insisted for more, that day I was in a hurry or else I would have given him a good learning. Other than that I loved the place and will prefer to visit again

Loved the place. Ambiance is good. Like in part of the area there are dim lights and in some part there is full brightness. Selfie points are good. Also there are private cabins to enjoy some cozy moments without any hesitation. Cominf to food Nd beverages- So I had ordered maghai paan hukkah that was really superb. Also I had dry chilly paneer and it tasted really awesome. Prices are so normal and affordable. Space is big. Party disc lounge us separate. Well i have been to Blue lounge many a times but today's experience was terrible and pathetic. We order 1 cold coffee, 1 fresh lime soda, 1 Maggie which was for 389Rs.and then later asked for the bill. The guy who served us told our bill is 460Rs. We gave him 500 in return he gave us 40Rs. I Asked for the bill since he did not present us the bill at all. Then he got the bill and said that 70rs was charged for cold drink which we never ordered. He tried to cheat us by not presenting the bill. When he got the bill he gave us 110rs back. When I took 110 and kept in my wallet the guy forced fully asked us that give me money for my service. We said what?? He again said give me tips. We were so shocked to hear this that he cheated us on top of that we understood what he did. Still he is forcefully asking tips. And was so rude. We asked for manager the other guy came and said sorry but never called the manager. This kind of behavior and service is pathetic. I insist every one to check the bill before paying them. Do not pay without seeing the bill.

Gone are the days when people did visit places just for Hukkah (It being the only thing that mattered). Now people also check in for something transcendental. That's why these so called "Smoke Bars" are leaning towards giving a stepped up experience in terms of Food and generally soft drinks. So "Thy who shalleth fail to keep up must perish".<br/><br/>Situated, at a corner barely noticeable, at Sapru Marg, this place projects kind of a sloppy, kiddish image against those of the modern Hukkah Palaces like The Mint. Lights are really bad with a very chintzy atmosphere. Eye gouging Blue Lights?? Trying to scare off your customers?? And typical "Dik Chik Dik Chik" beats?? Bravo.. I guess I wanted to lay off some steam.<br/><br/>The Attendants are a little confused or they confused me with an alien using a sign language as they clearly messed up big time. I got a different flavor from what I ordered.<br/><br/>And another thing. You have to order something along with hukkah, otherwise you can order nothing at all. Worst lounge in whole lucknow. Food and hookah of worst quality. If you complain about anything to staff or manager they will tell you to pay and leave.<br/>Prices are low but everthing has minimum billing and order system. 1000 Minimum billing for two persons. Greatly needs to improve on the food. The new interiors dont impress much and seem extremely common. Ordered some of my favourite mocktails and found that the quality of that too has degraded.

Surprisingly there is hardly any difference in the ambience of most of the cafes in the city now. The look of the place has been completely changed but still stays the same dark and dingy place to be. The place is spacious but a lot could have been better in terms of interiors. "Mint Splash" was just another mojito , though the tastes was fine but nothing great. The "chilli panner " was again average. The staff really needs to work more on of what they are serving as per the description of the dishes mentioned in the menu. Overall it was an ok experience though I would like to check out more options to be able to review it even better.

Well after that sudden change in Mirage(civil hospital one) I like blue lunge a lil more.its gud...Food,music,atmosphere,crowd everything is good...Am sure you won't find much of negative points.

Easily accessible and spacious. My past experience was not very nice here but it was a get together of my department so had to go. We had the pvt area booked fr the party and it didn't disappoint this time. Hookah served was very good. Starters too were delicious but the best was the food and the dj!

Worst experience ever in a lounge. If you want to hang out with your friends never ever go to this place. First the manager(As he said about himself) that you have to order for 1600 and forcing us to order more food then I said I want to talk to the manager then he said he is the manager then he never came back. Secondly my friend had to ask for one glass of water for about 5 times to the waiter and when my friend asked him how many times I have to ask you for the glass of water. Really liked the post renovation thing with different theme and idea. Service was good as well. But the music was kinda boring and slow, although liked the two guys with guitar and beautiful voice. Oldest hukkah destination for Lucknowites. Still this place serves few of best Hookkahs in town. Brain Freezer is a must try here. Snacks are good. Service is more than average and staff is friendly but food orders are time taking. Overall a nice place for Hookkah lovers.

Visiting Blue The Lounge was a spontaneous plan. I had not done any research whether the reviews and ratings we're good enough to visit this place. I dropped in along with other 3 colleagues of mine around 7:30pm. As we entered one of the staff asked me to sit anywhere as the lounge was empty.<br/>Ambiance: just like the name the Blue Lounge has blue lighting. The indoor sitting area is divided into 3 areas. 1) area with a big screen 2) small comfortable cubicles covered with curtains 3) area with coaches, tables and a swing :) Live Cricket match was being played on a big screen. The walls display rustic, grunge, antique art. Very creative interiors. <br/>Food and drinks: We had ordered pizza, mojito and chicken manchurian. It was lipsmacking. Good place to smoke hookah.<br/>Service: Staff was very polite. Slow service maybe because later the place got really crowded. Since the time we entered and took seats we had to request them like number of times to play music and keep the cricket match on mute. We spoke to the manager as well. After continuously telling them for an hour and a half they put match on mute and played song but they repeatedly played 3-4 songs only.<br/>Met the owner while leaving. He thanked us for visiting. <br/>Overall it was an amazing evening. It's a must visit place.

Food is amazing.Try cheese rolls, I bet you can't get these kind of cheese rolls anywhere in Lucknow. <br/>I tried chicken 65 along with Manchurian and noodles, these tasted amazing as well. Cheese rolls highly recommend

And hence the 1 rating for ambiance.<br/>Cannot comment on the food, because we were not allowed to eat anything, apparently, they do not take food orders for dine-in below Rs. 500. I can understand a cap being  set for delivery orders, but for dine-in!!? Seriously such treatment wasn't expected from such an old & famous place in Lucknow. Also which hotel charges parking fee despite having a huge parking space available. So overall, I spent 20 rs to look at the ambiance of the place!

Best lounge in lucknow. Till now it's the best. It's dj is awesome and made a party there, the rates were normal and the hookah was also amazing. Low price, best place.

It's a ok ok lounge based on blue color theme...I haven't like the lounge layout ...music is also ok...food quality is also average ..I think la Vida is far better than this lounge.

Blue is one of the oldest lounges of Lucknow. It's a place where you can find youngsters partying, always! I have been to Blue many times both for a party and for just having food and enjoying the music and this review is a sum total of all my visits. <br/><br/>Party Visit:<br/><br/>It can be a perfect destination for organizing Birthday parties, Farewell Parties or Reunions. The private party area is quite good. The seating arrangement and dance floor are apt for a small-medium party. The DJ is good and the food is awesome. <br/><br/>à la carte visit:<br/><br/>Food- There is one signature starter that no restaurant can ever beat and that is 'Drums of Heaven'. The mouth-watering and luscious chicken legs take your taste buds to places they've never been before. I'd highly recommend everyone visiting Blue, to try Drums of heaven. Other food items are also delightful. The non-veg. items, in particular, are pleasant tasting.<br/>3.5/5<br/><br/>Ambiance- It's all blue in there. The seating arrangement and space is well managed. You can relax on the sofas and couches while enjoying the music. At times, the music might be a little loud. Phela jaise baat nahi rahi ab !! This what I felt when I visited BLUE this time With my frnds , Ambience wasn't happening at all , Music Sucks and hate the projector Playin VH1 , never the less service , food , drinks and hookah was Great full points for that , but seriously need to improve on ambience

Didn't find anything extraordinary about this place. It was an ok ok kind. The food was just fine and they seriously need to update their playlist. I went their with my group of friends and all they were playing were Bollywood romantic songs. Though I have to mention the ambience was nice also the fact that they have different sections. :)

Decrepit furniture and fitting. Lighting is like of some discotheque. Average quality and below than average quantity of food. Mustn't visit for experience seeker.

Went there with my friends the place was untidy and the waiters were also seem not interested in taking orders. Overall not good place to visit for a party or a hangout

no doubt this is the best place to dance and praty hard on d.j floor and booz<br/>but food here is not very tempting for which i went there on a Saturday night in a club hosted party.. every thing was good may it b ambiance , aura , music etc<br/>so for dancing and booz and hookah it can b a thumbs up but for food it will not b a good choice .

Too much of blue and long wait for service could give you head rush. I used to love this place, but now it's not at all overwhelming. Food is still delicious. Loved their starter options. Recently i had paneer tikka and honey chilly potato, truly amazing and so delicious. Also liked their paneer pulao. Hukka was a bit hard for me, not liked it that much. But this place don't excite me anymore.

Everything is awesome ... Except crowd.I have been noticing from last 2 times that there were few guys behaving like jack sparrow, either of them were not able to captain a ship.<br/>They were drunk n abusing loudly. I was feeling awkward becoz of their behaviour.<br/>Rest food n lights are more than average. Place is hygiene .

Used to be a better place when they began business, now its just fine. Like the place for being cheaper in comparison to all we have in that area. The cabins are nice. Service is not satisfactory.

Its more of a family kind of place than a lounge, however the ambience is amazing. The food is good too. It's location good so you can visit it anytime you feel like.

The place is good.... I like the sitting arrangement.... Sofa was comfortable and I like the kings chair.... Hukkah was a little hard. It was sex in beach special hukkah and it was so hard to puff... But food was good and staff was friendly.... Worth for money....

The ambience is good. Their service is slow since beginning. Food served here is decent. Some dishes are really tasty. U can tey indian as well.. enjoy the music. Don't miss the bouncers standing at the gate. I have seen people taking selfies with them ;)
