Their food is very very good .Anything you try is very good . The quantity of food is also very fulfilling and is worth the price . Their menu ranges anything from south indian to chinese to north indian and they are worth the money . If you are a non veg lover i would definitely recommend you to try the ORANGE SMOKED CHICKEN , this dish has my heart . It is a must try . After being renovated it has a very nice and cozy vibe .. it is a very nice hangout place for families and for friends.

The food is amazing. All the dishes that I have tried in Chinese are just wow. They serve delicious, hygiene and good quantity food. I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant didn't have washroom and the waiter was a bit rude. I will suggest anyone to try this place as they serve the best Chinese cousine comparing other restaurants in Hazratganj.

Hi Everyone, This is one of the oldest restaurant on the Halwasiya road Hazratganj near apple service centre. First time I visited here 8 years back. Second time now. This place is much improved in ambience and crowd as well. Food quality and presentations are good. 🍛 Look at the presentation in my pictures. Very sober and loving. Humble staff. Good atmosphere AC cooling nice. Not much rushy No waiting when I visited. We ordered Idli sambhar, noodles, mojito, lime water. All were fine. Bottled water available. We had the veg burger and fried rice with veg Manchurian. Although the burger bun was soft,I didn't like the patty much . The Chinese was however extraordinary good...it's unmissable of you visit here,will definitely order again! Not to mention staff is very polite and service is good.

This place has so much history. Me and my family have been going here for the past 15 years. Their chinese is to die for and now that they have expanded the menu it offers so many choices. South Indian is fine in my opinion, i think their chutney and sambhar have degraded in quantity. I always get their veg pad thai noodles which are so flavour ful and yummy.. The portion sizes are huge.

We had cottage cheese noodles, honey chilli potato, kit kat shake annd cookies and creme shake. Went for the first time to this renovated Marksmen. It is less than 2 min walk away from Hazratganj metro station. The ambience is cute. The food lives up to the legacy. Definitely recommend the honey chilli potato.

Five starts is for a reason and that is. Their taste Service Staff Ambiance (even after renovation) Everything feels the same as it was 20years back. The best part is you order anything and everything from their menu it has to be good. Might not be great but good. My personal favourite - The old style Chicken Cheese Burger. Mutton dosa Pav bhaji Pan fried veggies in hot garlic sauce & Their amazing nepolian pizzas.

Marksmen, now renovated, still be holds it's old world charm. While the food is between average and above average, they have done wonderfully well on interiors and theme. I just hope they do a little bit of work on food quality and make it little more upmarket. In most of the dishes flavours are absolutely over powering not making it suitable for the refined taste buds.

The place has gone a tremendous makeover. The interiors are good. You can probably go to this place on a non alcoholic date. The place have moreover family vibes. So you can go with you friends and family. Not very pocket friendly but it’s fine to go once in a while. Dishes and little overpriced, extra charges for water! Seating is limited maximum to accommodate 15-20 people.

This is not a dine-in review, but a delivery one. We've been frequenting Marksmen since 20 years but after the disappointment we received in our home delivery today, we'll probably never order from them again. We had ordered a plethora of dishes, from burgers and paneer dosas to their special chicken, noodles, paneer manchurian and Hakka chowmein. 1. The paneer manchurian gravy was incredibly spicy. 2. The sambhar was watery. Diluted to the point of disgust. 75% water and 25% actual contents of the sambhar. 3. There was practically no chicken in chicken chowmein and it was really tasteless. You couldn't eat it on it's own and with the extra spicy manchurian gravy, it became worse. The dosas themselves weren't so bad. Cannot say the same about the rest of the order. I feel that ₹3000+ order was the worst money I've spent in a long time.

Markemen is one of the oldest and well known place which is famous for its South Indian food and pav bhaji. I'm visiting this place since my childhood and i really loved the pav bhaji and veg burger here. But recently, they have deteriorated their food quality. And the place is unreasonably expensive. The veg burger i'm talking about costs Rs100 which is a high price. Also the quality of burger was not good. I hope they improve their food quality according to their prices. I have given 1star because no option is to give zero or minus, the worst service, pathetic staff i have ever met in any restaurant /cafe. ordered paw bhaji here and the staff (all the staff are very rude and they looked at you like you are burden on them) gave me the worst coocked bhaji with rosted bread/paw whatever it was. i just cancelled my remaining coffee which was about to come and asked for bill. any staff of person didn't asked me why i am leaving pawbhaji without eaten. after all i went yp the counter pay the bill and and asked ist that pawbhaji or something else. the waiter told me "aisi hi banti hai"

This place was on my list of the places to visit and finally I m here.. This restaurant is situated in the buzzing lanes of The Iconic Ganj. First we tried Butter Masala Dosa, Rava Butter Plain Dosa, Veg Franky and Veg Spring roll. Dosa were served with traditional sambhar , coconut peanut chutney and Red chili chutney. Rava Dosa is crispy and perfect, Butter Masala Dosa was OK, Veg Franky was not up to my expectation basically it was a Maida Roll with stuffing of Aaloo. Spring roll was crispy and tasty. Had this lip-smacking ONION DOSA MASALA at Marksmen, Lalbagh, Lucknow. Made with rice & urad dal and topped with finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chillies, served alongwith sambhar and coconut chutney. This is a must try for you guys. The taste and quality is just amazing.

Marksmen is one of the oldest multi cuisine restaurant of the city and it is located in main Hazratganj. Marksmen is famous for its South-Indian and Chinese food. Place is little small with compact seating but the service is quick and very cooperative staff . As this place is famous for south-indian food ,we tried Idli-Sambhar which was very fluffy and soft and it has soaked sambhar perfectly . Along with Sambhar they serve two chutneys also which gives a perfect balance of taste. #loved the place 💕💕.

I have ordered multiple times to get average food delivered at super slow speeds with delivery durations escalating higher with minimum time taken being 1 hour . The worst place to have South Indian food. Paneer dosa was horrible..I had seen for the first time in the history, Dosa with filling of pieces of paneer. Secondly they charged ₹40 extra for adding butter to dosa. Dosa itself costed ₹145 and adding extra for butter..seriously..! Such disappointing experience. I couldn’t eat more than 2-3 bites. The wrap itself was very sour. Red chutney was missing. Didn’t like at all. Taste - 1/10 Worst Dosa I had ever tasted. Not worth money at all.

Never Order a COMBO MEAL! We ordered 2 combo meals with veg fried rice and chicken chili and veg manchurian. The quantity was SHOCKINGLY Less! This was for IFTAAR. Visited this place for the first time a couple of days back. The place is pretty crowded and congested. You will have to wait for the tables. But wait worth enough for the food they serve. I had Chicken Dosa, a bit hesitant while ordering. But it delicious and would recommend it! Will visit this place again to have other dishes as well.

But, the taste of the food offered by Marksmen remains the same. We opted for home delivery and ordered their Veg Aloo Burger, which is one of our favourites. It is an Indian style burger stuffed with tomato, onion, chilli sauces and grated cottage cheese. It is a must try for anyone who hasn't. Marksmen also serves delicious pav bhaji, dosas, chowmein and lot more. Trust us, the hype about the food out here is totally worth it!

All has changed around but inside the restaurant and the taste of unique Pav-bhaji is still the same. Chinese also is recommended here but pav bhaji seems to hold the best place in Lucknow. First of all this place needs no introduction to a Lucknowite...everyone has been to this place atleast once...the small yet cosy resturant in the midst of Hazratganj market is very easily found and is famous for satisfying the hunger pangs of a shopper completely...the place offers a wide variety of options and all are lip smacking tasty... Marksmen is best known for its south indian dishes and its famous Veg. burger...I ordered it a few days back and it came quite soon and was properly packed also...the taste was the same as you would get in the resturant...the bun was soft and properly seered and the vegetable tikki inside was also very yummy...I recommend this place to anyone who goes ganjing to satisfy their dosa or burger cravings

Very disappointed. We ordered burgers with fries combo but got only burgers delivered. When I called the guy at first he disconnected the phone on hearing the address. On my repeatedly calling he acknowledged that fries were not sent. He also advised to order directly with restaurant instead of using zomato. At the end he suggested to compensate in my next order (with restaurant) by providing combo at the rate of burger only purchase. Even though I wanted to have fries at that moment I did not argue further as I had already spent a lot of my effort and time making him acknowledge the issue.

One of the very old and famous outlet in the busy lanes of Hazratganj is Marksmen. A small restaurant though but serves amazing dishes that too at cheaper rates than most of the food joints available nearby. They offer various types of cuisines be it Chinese, North Indian or South Indian dishes, all of them are just mouth watering. Their burgers are just amazing. The quantity of food being served can easily satisfy hunger of 2 persons. Do try their noodles, Manchurian and burgers. Am sure one will love their dishes.

I ordered immediately Beg fried Rice with veg manchurian..and hold on just after 6-7 minutes received a call from zomato delivery guy asking for address confirmation.. This place has been one of our favourites, but to my disappointment the recent experience was very bad. I had ordered Butter masala dosa, Mix Uttapam, Mysore masala dosa and Paneer dosa. What we liked most was the filling in Paneer dosa. The single star is for this only. The oil used for cooking dosa and uttapam was old and used several times as it had a pungent smell, which ruined the whole food, which had to be thrown away. Sambhar was too sour and had too much salt. Hope the restaurant will improve its shortcomings.

I really loved the food here. I used to order food from this place; so finally decided to visit it. The frankie, chopsey in chinese section and Masala Dosa in south indian section. A must visit place; though small ambiance but the food counts so well.❤

A true gem in the heart of the city. I loved the preparations especially the keema dosa that I had after ages. The place is pettite eating joint with 20-25 seatings efficiently serviced by a courteous staff. I think i will come back here again and again. Thumbs up.

Marksmen makes the best fast food I have enjoyed in Lucknow. I place so many online orders for my family. Lately realized that they are sending boys to drop orders who take too long to understand an address, which becomes a pain to make them explain and every time. They do not give big sagging bags if order is big and sometimes no lining in boxes. It does matter to us when we sit relaxed at home and eat. Please tc of these stuff.
