The concept of tea bar is a new trend and the team of Planter's has put an excellent effort to bring out the place in such a nice way. The location, food and service is good and the array of teas available is again excellent. Highly recommend for all age groups. Live music, karioke and library adds to the charm of this place. Keep it up guys!

It's an amazing and fun loving place with full of energy.. Ambience, food and specially extensive variety of tea with variations in cold n hot is just amazing and unthinkable.. Kudos to entire team who are working day in day out for this.. I must say it's a must go place..

Well I think this is a brilliant place their drinks are awesome and I would personally recommend everyone to try their peri peri chicken pasta 🍝 . Such good value for money

I ordered a veg lasagna and the planter's special pizza. Not exaggerating but it was the best lasagna I've ever had in a Cafe. Pizza was also good (3.5/5) . Pretty sure the other things must be nice as well . Prices were okay ..not cheap but not costly either. Ambience n infra is okay n the crowd is good . I'd recommend this place to everyone .

This is a ok ok place with cozy interiors. If there is good crowd smoking hukkah then u will feel suffocation as ventelation is not proper. Seats are also not comfortable. Food is good. Hukkah is best served here. Prices sre normal and affordable. Service was delayed. Location is easily accessible and visible.

Taste and location was amazing

The food was okay but the service was not up to the mark, I had to wait alot for my unfilled glass of water,ambience was good. The last thing is that they should improve the condition of their washrooms, their condition was pathetic.

I ordered mixed pakora, chilli potato and tea from Planters Tea Bar and Book cafe. The packaging of items was very good and chilli potato was very tasty. The pakoras were as expected. Would surely order again from here.

Loved the Hookah and Mojito's

This location popular for seesah ( hookah ) and whole crowd enjoying mostly hookah here and prices are really good ! They serve Irani tea also which I liked too , virgin mojito was bit sweety , chilly garlic noodles was too spicy . Rest everything was good and up to the mark

Visited one week before.this place needs a renovation.seats are uncomfortable,books are old and covered with dirt.they have poor hygiene levels.service was very slow.

Stopped here on Sunday Evening. This place needs a renovation. Although the idea of interior is good but it hardly replicates the designer's vision. Seats are very uncomfortable, books are old and in poor condition(they are not worthy to be displayed). Service was delayed. We waited for 50 mins for the order to come. The staff was not at all responsive. Coming to the food we ordered White Sauce Pasta, Garlic Bread, French Fries along with drinks, and in Hookahs we had Magahi Paan and Mint flavours( Commissioner flavour was not available, although it was there in the menu). The experience was below average but the food was good.

Visited it last night. Didn't liked the hygiene level. Waste was scattered all over the floor, Table was dirty and when we asked for clean up it took them 15min and the cleanup guy threw the tissue ride beside our table on the floor. We order lemon ice tea, 100 mile tea and masala Maggie.<br/><br/>Food was average, nothing special and over-priced. Sugar in 100 mile and lemon in ice tea were a bit over, Maggie was fine with veggies. Lights are quite dim if you want to read books. Passive smoking is a concern by other hookah and cigarette.

I have ordered Pav Baji online from Planters Tea Bar & Book Cafe but to my surprise the buns were burnt! Also, after mentioning instruction notes the bhaji was too spicy! The packaging was poor!

The place is good. Have been going there for atleast 3 years. The place was good until the sheesha started to degrade. One suggestion:- please do buy cocozara hookah and I'll be happy to go all day long.

Ordered in for tea, fries and hookah. Tea and fries were good of course, being the safest options to order. Quite disappointed with hookah though so this could be avoided. All in all, a good and inexpensive place to hangout with friends so is pretty crowded mostly.

I wanted to go to this place since a long time now. However was totally disappointed. First of all being a tea point it has no sweet to offer in the entire menu. No cookies no cakes nothing. Being a cold morning we ordered one kulhad chai and one coffee and a plate of pakodas. The tea and coffee were served before and that too at probably room temperature. The pakodas came a good 15 mins later when the tea and coffee were already finished.

Planters was an unexpected finding. But trust me it is one of the best places to sit and relax. Soothing atmosphere and brilliant interiors. A treat for the chai lovers of awadh.

Very very very very average Café is the bottom line of my experience. Looks are good, lighting and interiors are good, but the place does not have a smoke free zone. So all the time you will have to sit with people smoking cigarettes or hookah!! It can be very choking for few. Secondly, the staff is not very friendly, though they are decent in dealing with customers. Now coming to the food, we ordered 1 kullhad and 1 cardamom tea and a sandwich. There was no difference between the two types of tea. Both tasted same, and were prepared using tea pre-mixes. You can have better tea at Rs. 10 at roadside than having it here for Rs. 110. Sandwich was also average, and tasted like the sandwiches i used to take to school for lunch in my tiffin box. Now coming to the prices, i went through the whole menu and found most of the dishes over-priced. Tea is very over priced and of very average taste. You can sit there and spend time, but dont expect it to be something out of the box. 2 stars for looks and decent service.

I've been there two times. I've tried their masala fries although very bad in taste , the pasta and lasagñe were both amazing. Actually, this place serves the best lasagne! The quantity is also sufficient. :)<br/>

Planters is a sweet, decent and a homely cafe famous for their variety of tea options for their patrons. The decor is extraordinary which has shades of funk, rock and the peace flags gives a touch of travel cafe.<br/>The seats are decent but tables are really fancy !<br/>They always have live music playing ! My favorites are Jasmine tea, Irani Chai, Rosella Tea . They are experts at masala chai ! They have a small library where you can enjoy reading the work of your favourite novella and sip the comforting tea.

First of all they serve amazing white sauce pasta but there service is very slow and they listen and understand what u r saying they will do wat they want to I ordered cold 2 shakes one was delivered before and that was so gud in quantity so I asked to cancel the other they said yes at that time but after sometime they gave that also 😑😑😑

Totally disappointed with the breakfast, never going again. We ordered 2 variants of omelette and both were equally tasteless. The amount of salt added was more than needed which was not even whipped properly with the egg.<br/>Was also wondering if burgers and pizza’s can be prepared for breakfast then why would pancakes not be available?

A family run this cafe and they have a cute dog. They serve amazing varieties of Chai. Food is also good. You might witness live music performance as well.

We ordered in via Zomato: a peri peri fries, a Chicken Burger with Mushrooms and Caramelized Onions and a "Cheesum Chest Burger".<br/><br/>HORRIBLE is one word that comes to the top of my mind with the experience that followed. The Cheesum Chest Burger was marked as vegetarian, but was a CHICKEN burger. The person I ordered it for, a vegetarian, was furious!<br/><br/>The peri peri fries was NO respite at all. It was basically dry french fries with chilli flakes. Ugh!<br/><br/>The chicken burger had NO sign of "caramelized" onions. I really hope they research the ingredients mentioned, rather than assuming customers are plain dumb and won't notice.<br/><br/>Well, to my horror, the management was also not quite receptive to this feedback. They DID NOT even acknowledge that sending chicken INSTEAD OF VEG, was a HUGE issue!! They just assumed that the customer should have known it was a non-vegetarian burger by the name "Cheesum Chest", even though it was CLEARLY marked as vegetarian in the menu!<br/><br/>They will say just ANYthing to save their necks- a popular stance taken by MOST businesses these days.<br/>I guess the new motto is: Prove that the customer is always wrong.<br/><br/>Might I add that the place looks so shady and underlit (even during daylight). I went there for a book launch and they have stuffy rooms that look like dungeons! Not a very "book cafe"-esque vibe.

What a place to hangout with friends and family..Everything works for this place the chai is terrific specially the masala chai.The chilli potatoes are to die for .I even had breakfast with my family and this place offers amazing poori sabzi .I would suggest this as a must go place to everyone who loves a great cup of chai.The place is absolutely value for money with a great collection of books.

This place as a gud ambience. Not only an area for teenagers but is a family lounge. The environment is classy and peaceful. The food is gud in taste and the services is also proper.

This is what they call "Chicken Club Sandwich".<br/>Either they were running short on chicken or they had more of eggs, that they put omlet instead of layers of chicken chunks and veggies.<br/>A SAD JOINT, not recommended for food enthusiasts, as they concentrate more on presentation and less on taste.

This place is awesome. We had lots of fun ( snacks and tea too!). We ordered pizza and white sauce pasta. Both tasted quite good. The owner of the cafe (i think ) Vasu also performed live music, which was awesome. You can perform there as well. They also have books and magazines. This place is really cool, only thing is that it is a bit expensive.

The service was so bad, they didn’t even accept my Zomato gold in spite of having the service! We came in for bfast but the servers were so inn appropriately dressed and the place also looked so unhygienic! Favourite cafe in town!! Not just food, there is a feel that makes me come back to this place every other week. Talking about the food, they are known for their varieties of tea, ofcourse. It's a nice small home based cafe, idel for small groups, we ordered a hookah, honey chilli potato and cheese balls. The hookah was nicely prepared and the food tasted okay, but few items from the menu were not available. Staff was humble and the service was satisfactory.

Two stars only because the seating and lighting is nice otherwise the way they have degraded, they deserve one or even less.<br/>As you enter the cafe you will find a staff member ordering you "tum dono waha jake baith jao" . Then he brings the menu and without letting you even open it he is ready with a pen and notepad, asks "kya lenge".<br/>While you are trying to eat he brings in the bill and goes " cash or paytm ? "<br/><br/>About the food, we ordered 2 burgers , a mocktail and a mojito. They took about 25 mins to bring that, and when they did, they interchanged our mojito with someone else's masala soda. Ofcourse we tasted and realised the mix up so they took the drinks inside from both the tables and brought it back in less than a minute without even changing the used straw.<br/>The mocktail had a bad taste and when complained , they told us probably the flavour has gotten bad. So we returned it.<br/>The burgers were little burnt but edible.
