Review Ratti Lal's - Lucknow

Khasta kachauri was worth the wait. Although the shop is placed in a corner, unhygienic if one may say. It was crowded early in the morning. But the khasta kachauri was very good, specially the chole and alu ki sabzi, it was perfect. We tried gulabjamuns too but worthless. Just stick to the kachauri and you'll be good.

Rattilal's is an iconic shop in Lucknow, which is mainly famous for their Khasta. Khasta is a form of kachori filled with lentils. So this shop is very old they serve khasta with Chole and Spicy potato thick curry. This shop is in the basement situated at Rattilal crossing near Lotous Road. Apart from Khasta they also sell chole bhature which are equally famous and be in demand for locals. Their Imarti is really good they sell Pure Desi Ghee Imarti and Jalebi the price is also reasonable, try their Imarti Or Jalebi with Rabri that's a really fantastic combination. Rabri is not so sweet and Imarti is dipped in sugar syrup so the rabri cut the extra sweetness of Imarti and gives a magical taste to it.

If you are a foodie and love to visit food joints that have an old world charm attached to them, you should definitely visit Rattilal's. Although they make a variety of sweets and other food, their specialty is Khasta Aloo, Chole Bhature, Desi Ghee Jalebi and Bada. This time we tried Chole Bhature and Jalebi which tasted awesome. They serve all the items in disposable plates. Also you can get Jalebi any time of the day as most of the other outlets in Lucknow serve it only in the morning. Reaching the place can be a little tough as it is in the middle of a very busy wholesale market. But Google Maps can easily guide you to the exact location. If you are driving a car, getting a parking space can be a little hard. They have now opened a number of delivery stores in locations across Lucknow and thus you can also visit the one which is nearest to you. You can also order from any of the online delivery platforms like Swiggy and Zomato.

Rattilal is a famous food joint of lucknow. Popular for its khasta kachori and poori sabzi. The taste is good. The kachoris are crispy. The lassi is average you can find better lassi in lucknow. The parking space is scarce and seating arrangements are not here. Its better you get the food packed and consume at home if you stay nearby otherwise you’ll have to have it inside the shop where there can be a lot of rush. The taste is good and they offer plenty of options such as chola bhatura, kachori, kulcha, bade etc they also have branches at other locations in lucknow.

I tried khasta here. Taste of khasta was good n unique part is they sereve lemon along side which enhances the taste of chola. Poha is ok.

The best place in lucknow to enjoy the Khasta. I absolutely loved eating the khasta. Served with chole and 2 types of aloo. It was a delight. Must try for your breakfast. Theh also have many other things in menu but I tried their famous khasta only

I have always loved rattilals khasta and bada they are mindblowing there taste and their chollas are different from world nobody in earth can make this types of khasta bada and they also contain different sort of foods as chole bhatoore,poori cholle etc there all items are good and their sweet dish are also good in taste.

Rattilal's is one of the oldest eateries in lucknow. Best thing is they open at 6 am * 365 days. No other eatery is other than some are in chowk area open up at this time. Coming to food- Khasta and aalo chole is best along with poori , bhature, dahi jalebi. They use ghee hence the quality of food is good with unbeatable price. Those who know this eatery they are regular but those who are new in city and you are foodie, I would suggest to visit Rattilal's once

Yaha kbhi mt khana unhygienic jo bhature khaste bnata usne mere samne urine krne gaya aur hand wash kiye bnane laga....aur jb complain k uske waha k bndo n apology bhi nae kiya na kha k app paise mt do.... urine kr k wo bhi jha bnata bagal m nali m kiya fr hr jgah khujli kr k khaste bnae....bhi jo sawad k taref krte wo sawad mutt ka h....I don't recommend anyone....

So I love their khastas and kachoris. I just loved them. They are heavy filled with flavour and chola tastes heaven with them. These are my favorite.

Yesterday orderd four bara n 2 khasta ...bara was bitter in taste n sabzi was stale(bassi) I'm a die hard fan of rattilals bara but yesterday food delivered was stale👎🏻vry disappointing

Worst service, dont eat there, they just pack for home delivery. Trust me if you want to have breakfast there, be ready to wait for one hour.

Too much baking soda used in khasta kindly less the quantity of baking soda chola is good no doubt ossum and one more thing taste of shop is more better than delivery.

I have ordered rasmali. Not good in taste. It looks like turmeric is added in milk. Dudh AK dum Pani jaisa patla tha. Dekh ke lag hi nai Raha tha ki kisi badi shop se order Kiya hai.

Not that good place for people who not liking oily, too spicy food, Ambience is not very clean. It's a proper shop, but gives a feel of eating on street. People having gastric issues better avoid this place.

A very bad experience just ordered from uber, They were good previously but I believe huge turnout has hit their minds. . I was always a big fan of their aaloo sabji and khasta, but now what they serve is stone with aaloo, khasta is not even crispy, its very very hard and there is no taste.

Morning and evening snacks place. I love their kahstas for more than 10 years as they have never compromised with their taste and quality. And pricing are still normal.

Downright, one of the worst khastas that I have ever had. Ordered for breakfast and expected something half decent atleast considering this place is one of the most popular khasta places in the city, but I was totally disappointed. Local sweet shops and streetside khastawaalas serve way better.

I order Cheena sweets from Rattilal , in which Cheena sweets are smelling bad with bad taste,I am very disappointed with quality of sweets..

The rabri received today was not good. It had a little sour taste also. The box used for packing batisha had an unpleasant smell. Food was not hot & jalebi was also not hot. Overall food quality was not good. Khasta was too hard. We didn't expect the food like this as we heard about the quality of this food but food quality was very low as per our expectations.<br/>

After starting off the day at Sharma Ji Ki Chai, I along with my friends headed to Rattilal's to try out their Khasta. The shop was located in the basement but could be spotted easily thanks to the crowd gathered at the shop. We ordered for Khasta with Chhole. The thing I loved the most was that it was served on two Pattals(Dried Leaves). There was dry Masala Aloo served alongside the Khasta and Chhole. The Khasta crisp and the Chhole tasted brilliant. They were neither too spicy nor too bland. They had a very different and pleasing taste. One bite of khasta mixed with some Masala Aloo and dipped in Chhole ki Sabzi made for a perfect combination. No wonder so many people flocked to this shop to have their morning fill. What a delicious way to start the day.

Have been eating their khasta & jalebi’s since my childhood days!! Haven’t found someone better than them till yet. The matar that they give with the khasta’s is insane! The most delicious matar for sure. Lucknow aaye aur ratti ke Khaste nahi khaaye toh phir kya khaaya? Totally recommended.

Rattilal's is an old Name and it's famous for it's khasta . Besides They are also sells Sweets and other stuff like Chola kulcha and poori . In my honest review I can say the khasta was good in taste but little bit spicy and over priced and the quality of sweets was average I have also tasted the jalebi there and it was not so juicy overall an average rating rattilal's deserve.

False Advertising, please update your menu images, they lead you to think you get one thing but when you receive the food it has something else in the packaging. Rattilal's is an established and trusted name, please live up to it.
