If you belong to a middle class family then this restaurant is for you. If you are on an outing with your family and want some delicious food at an affordable price then you should definitely go here. It's not very huge as there are lots of customers due to the taste and services but still they manage to provide very good services.

Good place with great food. Very close to LKO Airport. Must try dal fry and Tandoori roti. This had been one of the underrated great food place of LKO. Fantastic service. It looks small from outside but it's pretty big inside. They gave washroom as well. There are on the road parking space available.

Totally family friendly, services are too Lazy, Food tastes good but when you visit their hidden Kichen then you will never visit there.

Ok so we are talking about the legend Gyani ji ka dhaba yes yes They are the legend . This restaurant is the oldest restaurant in this area and let me tell you there taste is same as it was earlier. They are still continuing to serve the best food in our area. Tye beautiful and comfortable ambience will attract you surely. For hosting family function it's a perfect place .

Place is good. One can visit with with friends, family and kids. One can get a fresh quality food at resonable price. Number of recipies are available. One can visit on fasts also, they serve food according to fast too. Lack of space,crowdy atmosphere can make one wait for their chance for seats specially at dinner time. It's like dhaba but dal makhani taste like daal food taste was average with average prize. They gave your order fast. But little bit issue with table and space.

One of the best restaurants in lucknow with reasonable prices and good taste. Atmosphere is great, fully air conditioned. U can go for lunch and dinner with friends and family. Taste is very good and there are varieties of dishes in Punjabi (like makke ki roti and Sarson ka saag), Indian, Chinese. Thali option is also there in which there is much food for a person.

Food is delicious at reasonable price, the only concern is the waiting time, especially around 8 PM., approximately you have to wait for atleast 20 to 30 min to get one corner booked for you.

Parathas here are just super se upar. They don't have ac's . I tried panner paratha here . They gave us achar. The taste of achar was as home.

We went in for dinner during the navratri.<br/>The overall food quality and taste was good, and the main usp of the restaurant is its service.<br/>Never ever have witnessed such lightning speed of service, we were blinking our eyes and were getting our repeat order as well as it did not take much time for the main order to be furnished.<br/>The only improvement I can suggest is cleanliness for the cutlery used for serving food.

Only name of this place is Dhaba don't expect them to Serve Authentic dhaba style cuisine or food here. In past it was a proper dhaba and famous for it's food but now it's just a overcrowded place with ill service . Food is ok there is nothing extraordinary .

Food was amazing but staff was very rude and impolite. 1 waiter was just shouting at other waiters to get the table vacated even though no other customer was waiting. Nice little restaurant serving dhaba-esque food. What amazes me the most is their ability to match the taste of dhaba foods. Baigan bharta and dal are one of their best sellers. Breads are also good. The place is highly crowded during weekends. So one will have to adjust accordingly. Its quite a popular veggies spot nearby. Seating arrangements have improved over the time.

Visited this place tonight with my family and we ordered 2 special thalis...and since the quantity was nt enough for 5 people we ordered kadhai paneer and 2 laccha parantha and a butter naan again...I have eaten here before too but today the food quality was not very good...the paneer butter masala in the thali was bland and untasteful as was the mixed vegetable sabji...rest everything on that thali was up to the mark especially Dal makhani...which is their speciality being a punjabi dhaba...next the kadhai paneer we ordered was more or less the same as paneer butter masala but atleast it was a bit more properly seasoned and hence a little tasty...the naan and paranthas were great as usual...cooked perfectly...overall i would say i have eaten better food here than i did today...but still i would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food in a decent price and nicer family environment

If u r willing to visit here kindly visit here for sure n try Shahi Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter Naan, Makke ki Roti with Sarson ka Saag, as these r mouth-watering dishes which u will enjoy n I can give an assurance for the same! I try at least once a week here! But kindly avoid trying South Indian dishes here as they r specialised in Punjabi dishes mainly!

Visited the place with my friends, food was good as always but now quantity of food is been reducing year after year but still have more when compared to other resturants. There are 3 individual AC chambers so there's some problem reaching the staff or calling them for continuing order.

This place was started from ashes... As a Dhabba literally... Now this has become a well known over crowded restaurant... If you are looking for simple and sober food with affordable or genuine price this is your place... Don't expect any creativity with food or presentation just be a Punjabi n njoy the meal. Visited this place with friends for dinner. We ordered paneer do pyaza, dal arhar fry, tandoori roti, tawa roti and jeera rice. The food was dhaba style full desi and the service was quick. The staff is little rude. The food is cheap and best.

Pathetic food..!!Mushroom is stale and stinking. Me and my friends suffered from stomach ache. But service is quite quick as they already prepared with all the stuffs in advance resulting into the bad quality of food.

New gyanji ka dhaba is very good for people who care about hygiene and health. Their dishes are very good with less oil compared to nearby dhabas. And somewhat good on the purse too.

It was my first visit to this place coz i wanted to have some dhaba style food. It is one of the oldest dhaba in alambagh. Heard a lot about this place so decided to visit here. It serves pure veg indian food. The ambience of the place is ok. We had shahi paneer, handi mushroom, malai kofta, tawa roti and rice. All tasted good, esp shahi paneer👍. Only disappointment was their service, not happy at all, it was too slow and they had not served us salad with food..when asked for salad, the serving guy said they had no onions.

The chutney you get to have here is nowhere to be found or tasted.<br/>Although, a bit of increase in price has pulled it out of the reach of common men but definitely it's a first choice for any home when the mother doesn't feel like cooking or you have guests over.<br/><br/>I do miss the open air coolers of the place but with the advent of metro construction and pollution, the development is necessary.<br/><br/>Do try this joint when you reach Lucknow this time.

Let me tell you in advance, this is not a dhaba in real. But it can't be said that it is a restaurant. Well it is just a place to sit and eat. Nothing good about its looks though they have tried to give it a make over of a restaurant. The food is very average and nothing very exceptional about it. Though it might taste good first time, but if u think u can visit this place regularly let me guarantee you, it will be boring for you as the food is oily and spicy. Service is like a dhaba only though it is quick. Prices are reasonable but the quantity is less as compared to a dhaba. Overall I can say that owners are not clear about what they actually want this place to be- a dhaba or a restaurant. Probably clarity on this can make it a great place for foodies.

Gyani Ji ka dhaba I have been visiting since when I was a kid! Place is simple but food is really good 👍🏻. Butter chicken & paneer bhurji is amazing, try its sarson ka saag during winter time. Overall a good simple place to enjoy 😊
