One of the best places in my neighbourhood to try out chaat and other dishes. <br/><br/>Food: This place serves an amazing aloo tikki and paani ke batashe are to die for. Also i should not forget to mention their pyaaz ki kachori (which is available during the day time only). Oh yes and their kulfi 🤤 i would say the best in town. Besides that they have got options like dosa,chola bhatura, indian sweets, snacks, bakery items and few other fast foods to choose from. The best place to visit in the neighbourhood if you are craving for some street food i would say.

On 27th May, 2020 my brother had bought some desserts from Shyam Swaad which included rasgullas, gulab jamuns and kheer or phirni (whatever you may call it) that they serve in tiny little earthen pots. We are very regular customers here and huge fans of this kheer at Shyam Swaad but they packed all stale ones. I understand it's the time of economic crisis and we all are in dire need to get life and business sorted but that does not mean that restaurants as reputed as this would degrade the quality of their food to such an extent that they'll start fooling their customers by selling stale and rotten food. It was really disappointing. 👎

Okay so I went to this place today and ordered a butter scotch shake. Jst normal shake nothing extraordinary abt it. Also the waiters were rude and ill mannered. Despite the whole place being almost empty they asked us to leave their restaurant as "time hogya h bheed ane ka". Who talks like that anyway. Food is too normal nd this ws the 2nd time I went here.. Both times same hospitality. Why wud anyone come here when we can get shake and respectful atmosphere in other nearby places. Dun go if nt extremely needed.

I ordered this Chaat from shyam swaad. The taste was good overall also the quantity was amazing. It's a must try Chaat. Highly recommended. Also the rates were nominal for the Chaat. overall it was an amazing experience. Do give it a try.

Its a very good place to takeaway or eat chats, sweet or cake here.<br/>Basket chat is a must try.<br/>There food menu is not that much gr8 but you can try noodles and dosa and there paneer combo with lachchha paratha is good.

Shyam Swaad a very old restaurant and sweet shop. I have been there only 2 times and have enjoyed only their thaali.Their service is so bad that they’ll make you feel as if you are BPL card owner who gathered some change and went in for lunch.Sad but true the last time i checked into the place i ordered a thali and waited fir ten minutes for them them to even serve water and that too in the month of June.A middle aged waiter came thrice near my seat with water and avoided me all the three time.So be prepared to be treated like John Cena coz they cant see you unless you shout or beg them to.

I ordered masala papad, hakka noodles, tandoori roti n paneer lababdar. They don’t have sense of how to deliver a masala papad at home, they served it in the similar manner they do in restaurant. Plus I got naan instead of tandoori roti n hakka noodles was all spilled in the polybag which was not eatable. Further I called d restaurant d whom so ever firstly told me that naan is expensive than tandoori roti so u can have it n he also added that manage it today n have d gravy from the polybag itself. It’s not about naan/ tandoori roti but it’s about d health as I am allergic to naan(maida).<br/><br/>@zomato: the prices shown in d menu of zomato app are different from the actual restaurant menu and further GST was also added on the delivered food. 1. Plus point , the place is not so expensive, if you're running low on budget and want to grab a stomachful of bite , then this is the place you can also think of.<br/>2. Ambiance is good and bright.<br/>3. Service is average.<br/>4. However food does not have a great taste , I ordered Masala Dosa and Chhola Bhatura.<br/>Masala Dosa was average in taste. And Chhola was just bland , no special taste in there. I mean I had to finish my Bhatura with Achaar because Achaar had more flavours than the Chhola.<br/>They need to focus on their kitchen and chef .

This place was used to be very good when it comes to chaat, golgappe, dahi badas and other similar items but not now. Just three or four days back they served us dahi bada which tasted awful. Taste of their kachauris have also deteriorated and if u r palnning to go for a meal there then dont ever do that. We ordered a thali and almost everything was worst than anything you can imagine.

Nice place to visit if you are a chaat lover. Basket chat is just amazing. Even the golgappas are good. Good place for sweet's but not that good for bakery items. Pav-bhaji and dosa are the dishes one can try. Bit overcrowded especially after sunset but the staff is quite energetic and I must say they are extremely fast in their work. Once again basket chat is a must try.

I have been knowing swaad and shyam shops since i was kid. They had good joint but alas to say I am rarely visiting him. Not complaining they have big shop but taste and quality has severely downgraded.<br/>I remeber i took masala dosa from them as parcel and had it but felt sick. I was there again afer 2 days there but i witnessed a customer compalining same when i was ordering food again... dropped idea of visiting now !!!

Yesterday we just ordered Dahi Bada and Dhokla for our office party both the things were smelling badly, when I called them up to make the complaint they denied to take the feedback and argue . Now this place i first visited coz of delicious looking golgappe or pani batashe. They offer different flavours which are served in a hygienic way.. Not to forget their chat n dahi chutney ke batashe... Believe me if u a chat lover this place will not dissappoint you as it has never dissappointed me.. Even imarti n falooda kulfi is also tasty. It has an indoor restaurant which offer south indian, chinese and indian meal which is fine.. So its a good family hang out joint for all weather. :)

Great food!!! Worth every penny. One can encounter rush on holidays and weekends in the evening. Purely a veg restaurant. I've had chinese and indian food. Kadhai paneer and paneer do pyaza are great. Their veg munchurian and garlic noodles are also good. If someone is looking for ambience then Swaad would not be the right choice, in my view its all about taste. Service may be slow on some occasion but otherwise its OK.

This rating is for only its thaali which is ok when you are looking for food. Never try their south indian options. The masala dosas - the filling is gooey and tasteless, all sticky.. The sambhar too spicy and the coconut chutney was too coarse and pathetic. <br/>The moment you'll leave after eating, the waiters would pounce on the tip. Totally disgusting. This place is good for only its sweets which you pack and take it along..

Before writing the review I am requesting Zomato please give the option of negative rating.<br/>We ordered kesaria thandai, masala dosa and deluxe thali.<br/>Coming to kesaria thandai first. The glass was so dirty even my pet dog would have refused to taste. It was sticking and if we would have had then there would have been food poisoning. Result- We gave it back.<br/>Now masala dosa- It was cold as our cold mineral water bottle. I told the waiter to take it back which was opposed by him saying that it got cold because we delayed eating it. But when I scolded him he took it back. Sambhar and chutney was one of the worst I have ever tasted.<br/>Deluxe thali was just about eatable.<br/>Staff third grade idiots.<br/>Must avoid. Worst

The ultimate place for a chat lover! Though they offer snacks, desserts and other things too, they are best known for their chaat.<br/>They serve the tastiest pani batashe you can ever find, usually with 2-3 flavors, teekha pani being the best. Their samose, dahi batashe and kulfi are also very delicious. The snacks are quite good too though I'd advise you to relish in chat if you come here.
