Good place , good food. Courteous staff.

Ambience is awesome. Food is outstanding and tasty. Being close to barbeque nation it gives a strong competition in both taste and variety of food. Both the veg and non-veg items should be given 10 out of 10. Only Negative thing are the staffs who are unprofessional. Otherwise one can easily choose Royal grill over Barbeque Nation.

Great ambience, quick service and friendly staff. Manager and server frequently ask for repeat serivces. I asked for one dezzert but they served me plenty of yummy ones. And Food was very Delicious too. Perfect for families. Worth for money.

Great place for dining, speciality restaurant for grilled veg and non veg goods, ambience is great, very friendly staff, vast variety of food in buffet, the Manager capt Ansari is great friendly person, amazing variety of Sweets. Keep it up.

Best place for birthday and kitty. Beautiful ambience and energetic staff always keen to assist you. Starters and barbecue was awesome but the main course was average.

The taste of all the items are good but the only thing i think that they need to work on is the variety that they offer in veg in the buffet, so if they just increase the varieties served it will be good, as it is in front of bbq so they have to offer a good variety in buffet, the management is also good, just need to increase options for the vegetarians

We ordered sandwiches both veg and non veg , for non veg I would rate 4/5 but the veg paneer sandwich that I order was disgusting ,there was nothing in it . I was very disgusted with that kind of restaurant behaviour. Please don’t let your customers face such issues .

I visited royal grill today evening. I am highly unsatisfied with my visit there.<br/>I used 2 zomato gold cards with my family. To this they responded very slowly as if they did not want me to avail the coupon and constantly said that the message was not coming. The sofa was incredibly dirty and the service extremely slow. I ordered 1 chicken lolipop,1 murgh tikka, 1 hyderabadi biryani and 1 awadh dum biryani. After a long time, they brought the starters and main course together! In the chicken lolipop a large hair was found by me. When i complained they simply threw the hair on the ground and said sorry. How very rude of them! Then i had to ask again and again for the bill. After<br/>getting it, i found they did not mention biryani ib the bill. This gold offer was not even mentioned in the bill. When i told them that i will put a bad review of them on zomato they said ok as if they did not care. Highly unsatisfied.

Service was too slow in buffet . You need to ask Everytime for the dish that you need and then you have to wait for it's preparation. They don't have much to offer . They have only 3 veg and 3 non veg starters.the same dish tasted differently when you order it twice or thrice . They also denied serving veg item to a person who opted for a non veg buffet . In dinner they had only 3veg and 3 non veg main course . Dinner was not good seriously . For people who want to go for buffet,go to pirates of grill or barbeque nation . Overall dissatisfied and dissappointed.

Was served raw fish, which could have probably been cooked. This happened after waiting for more than half hour in a buffet. <br/>Taste was missing in most of the items served.

Starting with the interior of this restaurant it's very adorable and attractive...The bar table that is present on the entrance of the restaurant is well placed....Then about the food I would say that I have never eaten such tasty food in my life..Their buffet is awesome and wel within our budget...one of my favourite dish in buffet was the white sauce pasta and all the paneer dishes..Then the desserts in the buffet was very very tasty 😋 ....<br/>I would say that everyone should come here atleast once and for sure try the buffet as it has variety of dishes.

The restaurant is located at 3rd floor of Riverside Mall with decent interiors. Service is upto the mark. They have buffet and ala-carte both available . We opted for buffet. The place is serving great variety of starters and that too "too yummy" main course is good with not many options. In which North Indian indian options are yummy while oriental main course is not upto the mark. This is the perfect dinner place. I recently went to a party there and it was such a delight. The ambience is lively and every dish that I had was so yum! The best part about this place- they have a lot of starter options to choose from. They served Golden fried prawns, Shrimp pepper and salt, Fish in sweet garlic sauce, Hot n sour, Peking soup and a few veg starters and I still couldn't get enough. Moving on to the main course, they had a buffet with few options--which was actually thoughtful considering the starters I just had. I would definitely recommend taking out one day of your weekend to hog away at this place.

The royal grill is a place where unsuspecting people get trapped into paying super premium prices for average food, crappy Hindi music and sub par service. At 800 per person there were no napkins, plates were worn around the edges, chairs stacked on top of each other caused our party of 5 to feel totally cheated. The starters were ok and there was very very limited choice on the buffet. I think I suffered a handicap of being from Delhi where I am used to getting quality service at these astronomical prices. Then there was a birthday party being celebrated with loud music totally disregarding other guests who might not be wanting to enjoy the birthday music. Totally ungoable. Please avoid.

Awesome place to have your lunch and dinner. Situated on 3rd Floor, River Side Mall, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh -226010. They serve both ala carte and buffet at nominal price range. We have book  a buffet for 6 persons yesterday to celebrate our kids birthday by the name Er. J.S. Mishra. Our Seats were reserved by Mr. Girish  of Royal Grill. We arrived there at 8:30 PM. We are greeted by Mr. Girish and other staff. Buffet cost told to us is 800 INR inclusive of taxes. They were serving around 9-10 dishes in starters. It included  Paneer chilly, cheese balls, spring rolls, Paneer Tikka, Haryali Kawab, Dahi Kawab, Paneer 65, Corn, Sweet Finger Fries, Paneer Tikka and many more. I would say the variety in starters was the best thing here.The taste was also very delicious.  Soft drinks were also included in the package.  Birthday Songs were played by them at the time of celebration and songs are also played in background at low volume which is very nice. The main course has Chinese and North Indian cuisine. We have tried both of them and can happily say that they don't compromise on the main course, unlike most buffet systems. Also one is given a lot of salad options and there is white sauce and red sauce pasta too Our Kids enjoyed lot there as they have a lot of option. They have lots of option in Sweets like Hot Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Rajbhog, Icecreams-Vanilla, Butter scotch, chocolate and many more, Kulfi, and many More pastry varieties.   Staff was also very good and supportive. At last we end up with Sweet Paan. This was our 4th Visit to this place.<br/>We thanks all the staffs and Mr. Girish for their supports they given yesterday. Went for a family dinner here at royal grill. The interior is great seating is good, food is awesome. The con-people sitting upstairs have come down for the buffet which was annoying. Since we were abt 20 people, they should have placed us some place more accessible to the food arrangement. Loved the music.

I totally loved d place and everything about it❤..on d 3rd floor of riverside mall royal grill is a fine dine restro which serves u both ala carte and buffet at nominal price range...v opted for buffet and after trying all d dishes (be it d starters or d main course or d dezzerts) its worth saying dat dis place gives a total competition to barbeque nation👍...i highly recommend dis place if u wanna try a wide range of starters and dezzerts in ur meal...even d drinks and beverages r included in d buffet (for which u hav to pay in barbeque nation)...so m gonna surely revisit dis place soon👌

This is a fine dine restaurant situated in the Riverside mall in the happening Gomti Nagar.It gives us both options for ala carte or buffet.As it lies next to the mighty Barbeque Nation,it was a tough choice whether to go for a buffet here or not.Me and my friends went for the buffet.<br/>They were serving around 9-10 dishes in starters.It included <br/>Paneer chilly,chicken chilly,chicken lollipop,fried fish,grilled fish,dahi ke kabab,mutton galawati kabab,cheese balls,spring rolls,Paneer Tikka,lemon chicken and many more.I would say the variety in starters was the best thing here.The taste was also impeccable.There was a large variety of starters vegetarians only.<br/>The main course was good in taste but it was nothing special.They had 1 mutton dish,1 chicken dish,chicken biryani,bread of choice and salad and all.It was normal main course but nothing extraordinary.<br/>The desserts were great but there was not much in variety.They had mango kheer,rasmalai,gulab jamun, strawberry sundae and almost 5 types of ice cream.They were all awesome in taste but a little more options would have been better.<br/>The ambience is great plus point of this place.Their service was also nice.However sometimes they took a lot of time to bring the dishes.Overall it is a good choice to go out with your family.They won't disappoint you.<br/>

Awsm place to dine out. This restaurant is part of the Royal cafe unit of restaurants and it is situated at third floor of Inox riverside mall. Firstly the view from here is amazing. You will have a view of Marine drive and river front from here. For those people who are going to see movies at inox this is the best place for them. This restaurant has two floors and also have a bar. Mainly second floor is for party booking and all. The songs are also played in background at low volume which is very nice. Ambiance is different and attractive. Decoration is also nice. Lights are properly decorated. Here you would have both option either you may go for ala carte or may have buffet<br/>Yesterday I had went for the dinner here for the second time and have a lovely experience. The food was good though quantity was less. Raita and mocktail was too good. Presentation is just ok ok. Prices are very fair. Staff is curtious. Though they take more time in preparing a dish but I would not complain as service was very fast. They really care about visitors. And yes remember the restaurant is always full of people so it may be possible that you would be having a long waiting time specially at dinner time.

The food is good, we had buffet, but the service was quite slow and unorganized. Also, the staff behaviour was not nice. The last interaction with the waiter was them refusing a mouth fresher paan to one of our diners with a remark 'you guys have had enough to eat already!' In the future we would rather wait for BBQ for one more day than visiting Royal grill for their excellent hospitality!

Vegetarian food was ok ok.... Nothing new as compared to others at the same place. Need to include new and different starters and not pakodas. Also required to serve more better food variety in buffet.

When I first looked at their menu before going to this place, I thought it was a bit over-rated considering the food. However, I still gave it a shot and I visit here quite often now. I have always opted for their buffet and I am totally in love with it. Whenever one thinks of a buffet, people generally opt for Barbeque Nation (BBQ). I have been to that place too which is right on that floor as Royal Grill. I can say easily that Royal Grill does offer a better deal and a variety of foods, both in veg and non-veg, as compared to BBQ. First thing, the place is really well set up with a very comforting theme, both suited for families, couples and friends. Now, the coming to the food , the veg starters were so many that I had not thought of them ranging from honey chilli onion rings to veg kebabs to chilly paneer to cheese balls. And to be honest, I get quite full with the starters itself. But I never leave the main course. The main course has Chinese and North Indian cuisine. I have tried both of them and can happily say that they don't compromise on the main course, unlike most buffet systems. Also one is given a lot of salad options and there is white sauce and red sauce pasta too. In the beverages segment, they have sweet lime soda and soft drinks. All of this is subject to repetition so one can have as much as one wants. At some places , I found that there was a limit of beverages one can opt for but its not so over here. The service here takes good care of their customers and in case if a customer feels wrong about any food item, they are more than happy to replace jt. I have left from this place.

Visited the place on 2nd Jan eve in the blommy cold weather..they are having a 700/777 menu for veg/non veg buffet menu.we were lucky to get the glass side place where we can have the full view of gomti nagar which adds the lavishness and comfort of place .we were totally satisfied with whole menu their quality of food and everything.will be visiting again there

Just visited royal grill. Had selected to eat buffet. Salt way to much on higher end. In end we had dessert we ordered kheer as that only looked eatable option. We found a big 3cm stone in kheer. Which went in mouth and ended up bleeding my gums. Managers just said sorry ITS HUMAN ERROR. I HAVE BEEN IN HOTEL INDUSTRY FOR MANY YEARS.#SHITPLACE <br/>ITS CRAP WHAT WE EAT IS #NOTEDIBLE. Ambience - Amazing view but only from the lower floor. So make sure you are doing the reservation accordingly. The best part about the place is that it has live music. Two young very good singers and play on your request as well. Full marks here!<br/><br/>Food & Drinks - we opted for buffet. Atrocious service..took 1 hour to deliver a starter and that too was not cooked properly .. 1 hour to serve fish tikka.. Chicken biryani was like novice trying his hand on cooking. Bad food.. Worst service

Visited today with the family and opted for their buffet. What a disappointment it was ! The worst service ever I have experienced at any restaurant in Lucknow. No coordination among the staff, we were promised 8 non veg starters however served only 5 that also took so much time and we had to ask them again and again. After waiting endlessly , we opted for maains. Very poor service though the good was average. Would never go back.

Went there to celebrate my sister's bday along with my bhaiyya, his relative, my mom and sister, 5 people all in total. We started with ordering startes and main course after that. <br/><br/>After we finished munching, I asked everyone about their over all reviews about the dine-in. All had one thing in common - There wasn't anything special regarding taste, it was just served hot.<br/><br/>Overall, the bill was roundabout Rs. 4,000 for 5 people.<br/><br/>They were good at playing songs as when we went to cut the cake, they played Happy Birthday song accordingly.

I went Royal grill hotel in Inox mall gomti nagar. The food was delicious and mouth watering. The servicing was good. I liked kabab most. The experience was good.

I went to this place wid my frnds from delhi , they were vry happy to be there .......we had mouth waterng starters , uncountable dishes fr main course , grt desserts i luved kheer which is my all tme fav. ,staff service wz again cherry on cake , grt ambience . My frnds thankd me fr takng them to such a wonderful place nd am fr sure gonna b there again and again ........😊😊

Not a place if you want to enjoy with your family. Faced all kinds of trouble ranging from insects in our food to food served in dirty plates. Although the food was nice but the service wasn't. The manager was not at all cooperative. I don't recommend it to anyone wanting to have some nice dinner with their family.

Had an awesome buffet spread at the Royal Grill restaurant with a wide variety of grilled snacks followed by mouth watering food and cherry on the cake were the desserts and Lucknow's famous Pan . The hospitality catered by the staff to the customers was very warm and welcoming . Indeed a good place to dine out with your family and friends . Way to go Royal Grill and the team .👍

Mocktails and starters were very tasty. Especially, pasta. But the main course was not at all good. Especially, all kind of breads. They even forgot few things that we ordered. Songs were too loud. Crockery was not good. But window side table was good. View was fine.

The number of starters they served was indeed very high. In terms of the taste, there was nothing that really stood out. Skipped main-courses because there was nothing exceptional. <br/><br/>Coming to the desserts, what first striked me was the difference on the colour of the kheer. There were a couple of bowls of yellow (saffron) coloured kheer which looked strikingly different from the remaining white coloured kheer bowls. Standardisation is something that one expects in a buffet and this place lacks it big time. Anyways that is not why I decided to write this review. My friend decided to get a pineapple pastry and that is when we spotted a dead cockroach decorating our dessert.<br/><br/>We immediately asked for the Manager to show him what we had discovered. He took our plate, apologised once and then disappeared. We kept awaiting his return which obviously did not happen. It was then we asked for him again. He came back again and said this was a mistake and that they had told the kitchen about the same. There was no sense of apology in his tone and he acted like this was nothing. I have seen better service mindset in road-side vendors but this guy did not care a bit. <br/><br/>I advise everyone to give this place a miss and make reservations at Barbeque Nation instead.

Had a kitty party there,disgusting service with a fishy smell all through the resturant. It seemed they were not happy to have guests at there restaurant.Even the food tasted stale. Need to think 100 times to go there again.

Lucknow's restaurant business is going to a next level. Ambience..interiors..service is given as much importance as to the food. Royal grill is one such place where you step in and you know that you are in for some classy delight. I went for their buffet service..starters were a bit down but that was surprisingly covered up by their service. Main course was excellent..and desserts were just awesome. Definitely after bbq..for buffet this place is worth a try..!

Tough competition as building houses greats like barbeque nation and mainland china. But it gives them a run for there money. Food is superb in one word. We ordered garlic breads in starters and sizzlers in main course. Tried lamb sizzlers and chicken barbeque sizzlers which were good. Service is a bit slow but overall ambiance is cool as it gives you a view of the Gomti Nagar. Quite crowded in the evenings. Nice place to try.

Had a chance to visit this place while I was in Lucknow. Though it was not our first choice, but had to ultimately go to this place, as only they were allowing for a buffet after 3 P.M. Though we were not having very high expectations, since had heard a lil negative about this place. But, to our surprise, this place turned out to be a real gem. The starters(veg as well as non veg) were in great quantity, as well as numerous options were served. The quality and taste were also up to the mark. You can have lemonades and soups as well along with the starters. The options in salads were limited, but we did not mind that, as there were good fresh fruits available. Coming on to the main course, the options were again limited, but tasted good. The waiter also served us with Noodles and Manchurian, though we were quite full by then. Then the desserts- The quality was fine, there were Mithaais like Rasmalaai, Rasgulla etc plus Pastries and Ice creams. Overall, it was a memory for us, as we spent good 3.5 hours there. The staff and waiters were all good. Nice ambience and view.

Too bad a service. Visited this place because Barbeque Nation was too full to wait for. Bad and very slow service, okayish food. Nothing good about the place other than the live counter, but the live pasta was nothing close to okay. Deserves to shut down asap. Would give a negative rating if possible.

I visited this place at rakhi. We have three restraunts:Mainland China ,Barbeque Nation and royal grill...I found royal grill at first place for its price but at third place for there food taste. The starters are very Good but the main course was average. The salads were normal and pasta they provide was not good. It seems as they warm up the long time mutton and serve it. I must really say Mutton Seekh taste was not good.Overall Onetime visit place,but the cost is fine.Rs499 for lunch buffet including s.tax.

Food is pretty good but the service is worse than you can imagine. They take ages to serve even a glass of water or a sauce. Despite complaining several times the manager was unable to provide a decent service. Maybe they need to increase their workforce.

First if u visit inox mall u have limited choice of restaurants. We tried this royal grill . When you enter the ambience looks good. Seating arrangement is nicely done , you have a view of city too. Now food we were interested in Chinese , so ordered noodles,fried rice, veg Manchurian, chilly chicken,baby corn and chicken drums. We were 6 adults and a kid , so in terms of quantity it was good. Food quality is OK , chilly chicken was not spicy at all, Noodles were good but they can add few veggies. Over all its good.i am reducing 0.5 rating for service which was very slow.

Not much words to describe as the taste of the delicious and lip smacking food is still in the taste buds, simply telling the the brand hold its esteem high by serving the quality food and the amazing part was that one can get choicest of the A la Carte and Buffet at a price which won't be affecting our pockets.

Extremely useless staff..I ordered murg chapata which took almost an hour to come and was probably stale. Only edible thing was a sizzler which my Frnd had ordered. AC was not working and the staff was less than keen on doing something about it. Major disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

At 3rd floor inox mall, a unit of royal cafe welcomes you with a very attractive entrance.. Huge screen.. Bar counter.. Buffet lined up.. A perfect fine dine restaurant.. Went there for a birthday treat of a friend.. The service was really good.. Hospitable staff.. Sophisticated interiors and cutlery.. Ordered only starters not the main course.. A non veg grilled platter, shredded chicken with green pepper, noodles & some paneer dish.. Veg food was just OK but non veg was too gud.. The platter was divine where it included galawati kababs, seekh kababs, fish, chicken wings, tandoori chicken.. All in one.. Perfectly seasoned & spicy.. Taste of shredded chicken made a good hit at the taste buds.. However, soft drinks seemed to be diluted.. Overall: a nice fine dine experience with some exotic starters.. A must visit..

The seating arrangement was excellent and food was delicious.The starter was mouth watering and the chicken was sizzling. The veg dishes were very tasty and we all enjoyed the beautiful view of outer areas. The service was A rated nd awesome. The look of the resturant was beautiful nd attractive. The services nd area was very well maintained. The non veg dishes were served hot nd crispy. The taste of chikan was wonderful. My overall experience was wonderful nd i would advice all my friends nd family relatives to come in ur resturant.

Poorest food quality provided by one of big food providers in Lucknow. High expectations with the lowest turnouts. Definitely a NO recommendation place to go and not to forget the compliments of pathetic service and also hygiene. I think they must become aware of the saying that you need brains even to copy. The restaurant is inside the mall and the view is good. The food is nice and the service is quick. A good experience overall. Recommend it for family and friends.

It is the first time that the Royal chain has slept it's way to the bottom. It is an overpriced restaurant. One must prefer Barbecue nation instead. The food quality was not so good. In A la carte the meal served was not in good quantity. The buffet was however not so indulging. The price of buffet was exorbitant.

Below average at steep pricing for buffet go for barbeque nation instead. Opted for dinner buffet with my family.starters variety & taste was ok,but they won't serve them again after one serving,you will have to ask them again for a particular starter if you want it.it will take them long to serve you again for it.in short service is extremely poor.i have to ask for lime soda 5-7 times before it was served late with the main course.variety in main course is very limited.overall if you are up for a buffet party go to barbeque nation instead.only plus point here is if u want a view of gomti side(if u can get those tables facing it).

The restaurant offers both a la carte as well as buffet with unlimited snacks. The snacks were impeccable. Unlike other places which have very few items for vegetarians...Royal Grill stands out. The servers were really courteous and polite. <br/><br/>The only sore spot was no card payment.

Worst place to be !!!!! Run as far as possible !!! Please dont even consider looking at this place. It looks fancy next to bbq but is "nothing" considered to it. Food sucks! Service sucks!! Very dissapointed.

the food was good. The ambiance was good too. The staff was absolutely atrocious.<br/><br/> As students our budget is constrained so we were very shocked to see the bill of Rs. 900 per person when lunch is for Rs.700. In then end they had included Taxes which are already included in the 700 we pay. <br/><br/>It was only when I went again with my family that I realized what they did. I tried to talk to the manager but he completely ignored me. <br/><br/>It was not about the money but the fact that I was cheated by a brand that I have trusted upon since I was a kid.<br/><br/>So if you are looking forward to being exploited as a customer.. do enjoy their services

They should name this place "Royal Starters" Huge variety in starters which taste simply amazing, fish was super tasty n prawns were awesome- Mutton Biryani was typical A class lucknowi biryani , deserts were ok n Ya ambience was good too

One word for this place - EXCELLENT. <br/><br/>The variety is exceptional. BBQ nation and Pirates of the Grill don't even come close. Went there with two friends. Ordered non-veg. Thought veg will also be served as is case with others. Got surprised with the sheer amount of variety in Non-Veg. No need for Veg.<br/><br/>Taste wise everything was amazing. The soup, starters, main course, drinks etc. - PERFECT. <br/><br/>The soup was super savoury, the galawat kebab melted in the mouth, fish was perfectly cooked, desserrs were also good. Can go on and on.<br/><br/>Finally a grill that made me happy. Should open an outlet in Delhi NCR. Will easily kill the competition.

It's right opposite Bbq nation & of a similar buffet format. They don't have the live grill option though. I found their variety (especially sea food) better than bbq nation. The service is slightly better too. Biggest plus point is that they're lower priced than bbq! Paisa vasul place! :D

This place a was a huge let down guys please do think twice before choosing to go to this place. Being a BBQ nation fan i didn't get a table there so I thought to try this out with the fancy interiors lights and all and an external view towards river gomti. The food wasn't up to the mark, very less choice and serving of the starters were not good too with less options and few offerings nothing like the buffet opposite to it. The starters were served all together and became cold too. There was very less variety in the main course also. The only thing I liked was the view that u get. They have nothing else no charismatic atmosphere inside. I made a huge mistake of spending the same amount I wud have spent at BBQnation but didn't get good food and service and less options

Quite disappointed with the food as well as the service here. Went only because the other Royal Cafe joints jn the city are quite good. Royal Grill, on the other hand, is a rather shoddy member of the 'Royal' family. The appetisers both veg and non-veg were high on salt and pretty average. The main course has little choice and is also entirely uninspiring. The pasta bar has an absolutely disinterested chef who threw in everything he wanted despite me asking specifically for certain ingredients. <br/>And as for the desserts, I don't know whether they were trying to save plates and cutlery; the rosogulla served together with Rasmalai in the same plastic bowl! If the idea is to appear upscale, then the restaurant needs to understand it's as much about service as it is about the food you serve. Entirely out off by the experience. 😒
