It's a great heritage site in Lucknow but it's not maintained. They charge a good amount for ticket and guide, but their service is poor. You are lucky if you get good guide there. People have spitted in corners. Requesting to all the Guthakha lover, please don't spit anywhere you wish to.

The Bara Imambara of Lucknow is one of the most famous monuments in the city. The Imambara is also known for the Bhool Bhulaiya which is located on the upper floor of the monument. It takes about 2 hrs to roam all the places in this. The best view comes from the upper part that is known as the terrace. Its grand entrance gate, known as the Rumi Darwaza or Turkish Gate.

One must visit this monument. Hire the guide for bhulbuliya only. Not for boali. After you are done with the guide. Try to find a way on your own. Also buy a combined tickets 🎟️

The place is impressive and lots of things to see. Tickets r also very reasonable. In ₹50 you can see everything inside. Guides take about 100-200₹. Guides are compulsory to visit bhool bhulaiya, which is inside the campus only. But it isn't maintained well, so that is a negative point and mostly the whole place is crowded

Bara Imambara's Mughal and Nawabi style, its splendid architecture, and the unique atmosphere of the Bhool-Bhulaiya have made it a magnificent place that continues to captivate visitors. The hidden stories within and its greatness shine from every corner, leaving every traveler impressed.

Management needs to be improved. Compounds have good waste disposals at every nook but People should not be allowed to enter the main building like bhool bhulaiya with plastic bottles and juice cartons. There were many left overs along the chambers. It affected the experience. I didn't click photos as I didn't want to ruin the image. It's worth a visit though. Has stalls for snacks inside too. Very good price for quality handicraft products is also there- looting the visitor is not the intention here, which was highly commendable of the young vendors. Total visit cost from snacks+ guide + parking+ souvenirs+ entry fee (4 people) = ~ ₹1500/-

Loved this place. This piece of art reflects the true Mughal architecture where one is thrilled to walk around. The architecture of the complex reflects the maturation of ornamented Mughal design, namely the Badshahi Mosque - it is one of the last major projects not incorporating any European elements or the use of iron.

The Bara Imambara was built between 1784 and 1791 as a place of prayer and a hub for social and religious activity under the patronage of Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. Anyone visiting the intriguing city of Lucknow must go to this location because of its architectural magnificence, religious significance, and alluring qualities

One of the most visiting sites in lucknow. It is a mughal architectural marvel. .The place is not properly managed. Couples have to hire a guide or else they won't let you inside bhool bhulaiya without an elderly person. Please don't visit this place during summer.

Bara Imambara is a historical monument of Lucknow. The building is grand and well maintained. The architecture is great and provides glimpse of the techniques used by olden kings to maintain secrecy and spying. There is nominal entree fee for the premise. A large roof at the top gives beautiful view of the city. It is well connected with the city . A must visit plsce in Lucknow.

The Bada Imambara in Lucknow is an architectural marvel, known for its grandeur and historical significance. Built in the 18th century by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, it's a symbol of Mughal architecture with its massive central hall, intricate designs, and the famous Bhulbhulaiya maze. Visitors can explore its rich history and enjoy panoramic views from the central hall's raised platform. It's a must-visit attraction showcasing the opulence of Lucknow's heritage.
