Review Kalika Hut - Lucknow

I don't have much words to say about this resto. Last time i was visited 2017 and then today. Still kitchen team is able to maintain same taste of the veg biryani. I would like to mention the waiter doesn't have much sense how to talk with customer. Need to improve waiter skills.

Food and service were very good. The price of food is a little expensive.

A very nice place to eat with family and friends.....Good atmosphere and good service.

The food was much better than Manish Eating Point. The chicken was totally worth the money. The pieces' were soft and properly cooked. However, the azamgarh taste wasn't fully acquired, but it was still great.

Taste of food is too good. Location of the place is catchy and can be found easily. We came here when there was raining a lot. Managed to park car on road side. But hotel staff came for help. Service is good and prompt. Kabab parathas worth tasting. Tandoori chicken is too tender. Overall a nice place.

A very good experience i got from here. Situated at lekhraj faizabad road. Their food was so delicious and the staff were so cooperative. Infact they have separate rooms for friends and family and i liked it too much. Recommend you to visit this place.

Handi mutton was the best dish. Green apple blast was a nice drink. Overall nice experience.

Fish tikka was so 🤤🤤 delicious. Other foods i didn't try yet. Soon I'll taste... But the green chatni was ok ok.. it has to be creamy.. the water quantity was little extra.

I love the Butter Chicken at the Kalika Hut! Every time I visit Kalika I always order Butter chicken with Naan and it’s by far the best butter chicken that I’ve had in Lucknow. The staff is so polite and provide a very prompt service that makes the customer visit often. The new dish that I tried today was the chicken Kalimirch which was in a the white gravy, it had the pepper spice in it and was delicious. It’s again a must try. Also, the seating there gives a very village authentic experience with bamboo sticks all over and the ambience is also good.<br/><br/>

Visited Kalika hut Indira nagar. Located near lekhraaj metro. Ordered chicken handi but they served me mutton handi. Nevertheless, if was delicious and peices were very soft. Now there is one thing that shadowed everything was in peices bone portion was more and filling was less. I mean in 200 rs u get 2 peices and they have less stuff to eat which is same with Gomti Nagar outlet. Tawa roti was not soft and kaccha paratha was not crispy. Rest was fine. Staff was cooperative rathan then staff of Gomti Nagar.

Parking is roadside.<br/><br/>Ambience is that of an average diner nothing fancy.<br/><br/>I was quite disappointed with the service as the server brought half of the breads and said he'll bring the remaining as they are ready but forgot about them. I loved the kalika chiken bcz they make it like home.all raw spices they use you can smell in a dish.i like their handi chicken.chilli chicken is also good in taste.

Place where you can enjoy every single dish of India, may be not all but for sure most of them. They provide one of the best food items. A large variety. The spices they use, i don't know which but touches the soul. Very tasty.

We ordered for tandoor chicken half thru Zomato .. the chicken was good in taste though due to delivery not very hot .. the green chatni was good and so were the onions .. overall average food .. priced at 270 it's a lil too high for jsut 4pieces ..

I ordered handi mutton, Taste of the dish was so delicious . Only reason for giving 3 star. It was made with so much of oil.. That 1/4th of dish was oil.. and oil was floating

Easily accessible on main road parking could b a prob as metro work is going on.i had a opportunity to visit this place right after Diwali where staff crunch was there and our food order took about an hour to serve on our table .we ordered handing mutton ,roomali and roasted chicken ,mutton handi was very good but was wayyyy wayy less in quantity as we had to order half more,i ts really expensive as well for two ppl to satisfy our food crave it cost 1561 rs which is huge ,1 handi cost 720 and 560 for chicken roasted which is really high

Had ordered kadhai paneer,and veg. Kofta yesterday and they were decent enough. The taste was good..though not the best but the quantity was really good! They had not compromised with the quality and quantity and so the salad they serve with ia even better! The packaging was good as well. Could not click a picture because we were way too hungry. The kalika hut is a good choice in Indiranagar for veg and non veg both.... Non veg is really tasty and they are expert in handi chicken and handi mutton...

Ordered food online through UberEats. Kadhai chicken was too spicy and excessive oily with bolied chicken in it. Chicken Biryani was worst I had in Lucknow anywhere. It was actually fried rice with boiled chicken stuffed in it. Not at all good.<br/><br/>Though the delivery was quick.

Nicly located, neat n clean and a spacious restra. It offers varity of cuisines. The service here was also good. I enjoyed my visit there. We went for the dinner and ordered vagitarian main course which was delightful.<br/>

The way of cooking mutton is different, cooking food in the pot changes the taste which makes it softer and even more tasty. Mutton biryani is my fav with raita and chutney❤️

Hated it. I got food delivered from here. I ordered only 2 things and it was more than enough to ascertain the quality of this restaurant:<br/>1. Chicken Hyderabadi curry: I really want to ask the 'master chef' of this restaurant since when did Chicken Hyderabadi curry begin to be cooked with spinach. It was bloody Chicken spinach curry. What a farce. Jaahil<br/>2. Veg Thali: The taste was satisfactory but the quantity was so less that even children would feel half empty after rounding up the whole thali. To call it 'Mini Veg Thali' wouldn't be wrong.<br/><br/>All and all it was a horrible experience. Thank God I didn't dine here else would have lost much more of my hard earned money on the CRAP that these guys serve.

we paid 314 for afgani chicken. we were shocked in the first instance itself when we found 4 small pieces in a big box(as if box size can make someone happy). it tasted so bad i couldnt eat the second piece and my friend had to consume the rest which she did with just one conclusion that she never tasted such a badly cooked afgani chicken. truly disappointed. thankfully it was our first time and also the last. niether taste nor value for money. i wish i hadnt ordered fron this place.

Yesterday I have ordered mutton handi and mutton kabab..To my surprise the mutton kabab served in the city of kababs was tasteless to the max..It was not even kabab or Keema..Something like dry rara gosht minus mutton piece..Absolutely pathetic and tasteless..Even for 2 3 times the quality of mutton and the taste of mutton handi is also detoriating..Would think twice now before ordering and referring..

I love the hot n sour soup here! Only place where I can anytime eat the hot and sour soup. One of the most amazing restaurants. The service is good and staff friendly.

Environment is too heavy at Kalika Hut, Indira Nagar, unlike at Gomti Nagar. The staff is really weird, which keep on staring at you even after serving the food. <br/><br/>The major problem with me is I can't have more veg options and most of the dishes are non-vegetarian. Besides, it has very limited options on their menu. <br/><br/>Environment is no different than any other restaurants in Lucknow. Sometimes, it gives me feeling that they are running this restaurant only because they have nothing else to do. <br/><br/>I don't expect any navity coming up. Only thing is it's being close to my home. So I visit rendomly. <br/><br/>The best part is you can never have the same taste of the same dish, which is really ludicrous. <br/><br/>If you have a big celebration planned, avoid this restaurant.

First of all I'd like to give respect to this restaurant as they opened it just next to the legendary 'Tunday Kabab'. It is very difficult for any restaurant to have competition with Tunday but this restaurant didn't only gave it a tough competition but all took around every customer of Tunday and now Tunday has to be shut down there as it usually kept empty. <br/> Now talking about it's food, it's food was good, not better than Tunday but ya it was good and it's service and ambience was way better than Tunday that's why it was able to survive in the long run.

If anyone who wants to eat desi chulha mutton curry then kalika hut is your destination. Mutton curry is just out of the world, i don’t think anyone in Lucknow serves better mutton curry than kalika hut. Although this place is a little bit disappointment to vegetarians, as they only serve full plates of vegetarian dishes, while non-veg is available in quarter portions also. Chicken tikka is gud, aaloo paratha is nice, chicken curry is good. They are slowly slowly increasing prices of their menu, this is not good as i am a regular visitor.

I ordered food for home delivery. But after 5 minutes only I got the news that guests are not coming , so have to cancel it. The person on the other side started arguing this is not done , how can you order like that n after that I even apologize that m a vegan , can't eat non veg please understand and cancel it and then hung up the call. After 5 minutes I got a call from this person and he said "aj ke baad yaha order karna mat, aur aise nhi hota hai." I replied " kya dhanki de rahe kya aap?" He again said nhi order kriega nhi aj k baad n disconnected the call. <br/>P.S must have ordered from you guys atleast 40-50 times and after that also this rude behaviour. <br/>Please if you guys read the reviews then please ask them to be more polite in order to maintain your regular customers.

I live quite close to Kalika Hut Indira Nagar. I ordered Mutton which took around 20-25 minutes. The meal was not even served hot. I get it that it takes time but the experience isn't satisfactory. Contrary to what you get at Kalika Hut near Lohia Hospital, this one wasn't good enough. And, highly overpriced for its quality.

Umm little bit disappointed about ambience. Not upto date. Only boys/men can sit there and enjoy the meal.<br/>Mutton do pyaza and Chicken do Pyaza are the two most tasty items there. Kebab is also good but not like other old Lucknow type.<br/>Too much spicy. Taste like Eastern Uttar Pradesh non veg items. It is basically a Chain of Azamgarh Kalika but have little difference in taste.

If you want to eat food where the sabzi is full of oil and even when you eat it, the taste of oil is more prominent than the sabzi, then definitely order from here.

Never went to this outlet but i order it for home delivery.<br/>Delivery is fast.<br/>They take max 45 mins to deliver it.<br/>Starting from the place it's situated at Faizabad road.<br/>Food is no doubt good.<br/>I have tried mostly all it's mughlai dishes and trust me all of them are lipsmacking.<br/>Chicken handi is a must try and so does chicken malai tikka. <br/>One issue with their is that they use way too much oil. <br/>Ps: Rates have been revised (increased)
