Review Bistro Flamme Bois - Ludhiana

I recently visited Bistro, an Indian restaurant in Ludhiana. I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience there. To begin with, the ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic. The decor was elegant and gave a modern twist to traditional Indian motifs. The lighting was just right, not too dim or too bright, setting the perfect mood for a relaxed meal. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. The menu had a wide variety of dishes to choose from, each with a unique blend of spices and flavors. I tried the Paneer Lababdar and Bistro Special Sole Fish , and it was one of the best I've ever had. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend Bistro to anyone looking for a fantastic Indian dining experience. The food, ambiance, and service are all top-notch, making it a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine.

Their FAFFA chicken & Mezze platter are the yummiest!! Nice place to visit in the evenings for dinner as their outdoor seating is much better than indoors..😀😀

The best thing about the place is its ambience. Located at an idyllic setting of Pakhowal Rd, the place offers appetising cuisine. They have a variety of thin crust pizzas which are quite delectable. The backyard setting gives a feel of the French era and is pretty decent for a evening date.

I just loved it for everything. Be it food which is delicious or the service quality that keeps you coming back over and over again. A soothing, quiet and comfortable dining with a retro themed ambience will automatically settle you in the premise to make you feel that you are at the right place. I have uploaded some photographs of the same as a reference. Coming on to the soul of the place ‘Food’. It is just exquisite and served beautifully in the premium crockery for every dish. No matter what you order from that long & endless list of menus (and the sub categories of it). And last but not the least. A welcoming staff. To think about it, what good is a great food or a properly dressed dining if the ones that are serving you have wrinkles on their forehead. Nobody likes a frowny face, even the ones who are making it. The faculty is very welcoming and eager to cater to your needs all the time. It just makes you feel that you will be well attended to and well taken care of, if not more. My verdict?? I guess we all know that by now. Lol. Do pay a visit whenever you are in the city or around it. You won’t regret it.

The restaurant offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The place is very nicely maintained and is excellent for small gathering. They offer coal fire which make seating outside comfortable. Food offered is delicious. Loved it.

This place has classic ambience with a nature elements' touch. Food is great only thing is it is a little costly as compared to the portion served. Good to order Mediterranean, continental, Chinese italian, soup, coffee etc.

Ambiance ✅ We went on weekdays, it was not at all crowded. We paid online via debit card. Heart shaped pizza was a new thing. All together a great evening.

Nice food and ambience. Pretty much everything in the menu is well done. Beware of mineral water bottle, it's ridiculously priced at 350 ( they don't tell you when they put the bottle on your table). A must visit in Ludhiana, sit outside under the trees weather permitting.

Good place to have dinner or lunch . Pay bill via Zomato dining and you can get great discounts

Personally, I would recommend Flamme Bois for Continental dishes rather than the typical Indian dishes like Butter chicken/ Paneer/ Daal etc. The Indian dishes like all other good restaurants are good but their continental dishes, grilled items etc are above average and very tempting./ Inviting. ...be it snacks/ starters or main course. Pricing though is slightly on the higher side. Nevertheless it is worth it. On weekends, reservation would be a good idea. Sufficient parking is available.

I have been here quite a few times, the best part about this place is their ambience specially when the weather is good and one sits outdoors, food is mostly great but this time one thing that was disappointing was their veg sizzler,rice could be replaced with noodles and the veggies in that not that great, we ordered flame Bois special mocktail not really good tasted like packed juices after the initial few sips, the best thing was Mushroom Surprise suggested by my friend and it was very delicious cheese lovers would definitely enjoy that, overall a great place!

Bit expensive but the food and the atmosphere is worth visiting.

This was the second time I went there. Ambience is good as always. This time even the crowd was less which i liked. Very helpful and friendly staff(5/5). Let's come to the food: Veg. Supreme Pizza: 4.5/5, It was a really good thin crust pizza. Better to have it hot. Chicken Trio: 4/5, Chicken tikka in 3 different flavors(Haryali, Malai and Masala, my guesses as per the colors), chicken was fresh and crispy, served with Arabic salad, which was okay okay. That's why 4 stars. Chicken Hot Dog: 4/5, served 6 inches Hot-Dog, with some special sauce which I loved, along with extra lettuce and fries. It was upto the mark. Not spicy at all. I would have preferred to be atleast a little spicy. Chinese Platter : 4/5, You can customise the platter as per your requirements, and they also gave us an extra item in the platter. We got mini spring rolls, paneer chilly, mushroom chilly, bullets, manchurian, {1 thing more}. Everything was good. Nothing special. Rhode Island Ice tea: Basic LIIT with cranberry juice instead of Coke. 5/5, it was good.

Nice place...Good for family get together... Slightly heavy on the pocket compared to the portion size.

The place is good for friends, couples and family and outdoor dining is my favourite at night. I went here with my friends and tried 1. Chilli garlic noodles, which is awesome. 2. Super supreme Pizza, which I can say is ok ok, not too good and not too bad. 3. Red sauce pasta is also amazing and you can try. Apart from this we had aerated drinks which is just like need no explanation on this but the time spent with friends was good and can think of coming to this place again.

A Restro Bar having decent interior, lovely ambience and good seating arrangements with choice of sofa-centre table, normal height seats & table and Bar stools. Very well behaved hospitable staff, serving decently with smile. Food preparation is unique, finger-licking & sumptuous. Placement of Bar is good and it is well stocked. Cocktail and Mocktail preparation is very good and reasonably priced. Whole restaurant area is neat & clean, Restroom is odourless and tidy. We ordered Sizzler chicken Armenian and Pasta Penne chicken pesto for three of us. It was delicious and satisfying, very nice preparation, enjoyed....! Ginger Mojito and Green Apple mojito were good. Cost for three of us was around INR 2200/-. Its nice place to go with family and friends or good place for 👭 kity parties. There's ample scope for seating rearrangement. Location is ideal on ground floor of a shop cum office of commercial area in Green Park on Pakhowal road in Ludhiana where Car parking is a concern. We got struck for a while to get out of the parking lot 😂 , yet the Bistro would be a preferred choice for me. Keep it up let people enjoy your food and hospitality 👌👌👍👍

Vibrant, easy going ambience. Has a great vibe! Choice of music complements the ambience. Service is warm, attentive and participative - I really liked that! Great choice in food - cuisine has a tasteful uniqueness. I liked every dish that I tried. it allows you to try a wider variety - that's a good thing for a place that has a wide range of options available to choose from! All in all, it's a perfect package.. I am looking forward to come back soon !!

It is one of the best places in town. I missed it a lot back in Chd when it closed down few years back but happy to find it in Ludhiana. The chocolate gateaux cake is heavenly and I keep on visiting again n again to try the yummy “melting in your mouth” cake 😍

Disgusted when book a table on phone yesterday...i book a table for 2 people in the evening for 8 pm on night....the booking person from their staff said your table is booked and you have to leave the table at 9.30....i visited so many restaurants in ldh and other places but this is first kind of experience i heard about it....anyways i dnt suggest anyone to go this type restaurant where u have time limit to sit....because we go for some relaxation....one advise to restro if they are so time consious then they must put a alarm clock on every table so their customers know how much time they left to sit on....

Fahrenheit the flamme bois bistro is a cool place with alfresco seating drinks they can work on food is average not the atmosphere al together is not bad had peri peri chicken and spaghetti AOP food was ok the chicken was a bit tough and pasta was missing on garlic but rest service wise it’s a average restaurant! Can come over again!

An ok place. Cannot compare with Bistro 266. Food was alright. Good ambience and it's better to sit outside than to sit inside. Did not enjoy the cocktails served not professionally made.

One of the best places for outdoor seating which looks more beautiful at night and also one of the perfect place for winter brunches/dates. Coming to the food review,<br/>> veg white sauce pasta served with perfectly crispy garlic bread was very good, though the sauce was more than the veggies, but it was very good.<br/>> Veg pizza- not that crisp. It was okay-ish in taste<br/>> Brownie blast- brownie served with ice cream, the best i had till date. From Indian to Mexican to Chinese to Italian. They have such a large variety of food and everything on their menu is top notch. <br/>My all time favorite are : the chicken roulade , any type of pasta to be honest is amazing , the dahi kabab , the mezze platter, the crunchy basket , their churros , the tiramisu and their piccante pizza and everything is just wow<br/>The location is lovely too, their outdoor settings are a perfect summer lunch settings. Been here with friends on Sunday. Much hyped for its environment and food but personally I did not feel that oomph. It was an average eat out. What fun is the menu card which you can't decode? Service was average. They need to do something about flies... far too many. Go there if you have dough to poof.

One of the better and classy place to go out for a lunch or dinner. Excellent interior with amazing service and well behaved staf members. The food quality is also remarkable and satisfactory. <br/>Add this to your list if you looking to go out on nice date at a good, classy and quite place.

The food is lip smacking good. The quantity in platters is generous. My all time favourite is classic Long Island Ice Tea. (It's always made with lot's of love).

I am a regular at bistro this is the first time I have been disappointed with the quality of food. Tacos loaded with capsicum. No other flavour. Salsa was abysmal...

It is a small place that occupies the biggest place in heart through it's taste and presentation! A sitting space of about 40 seating capacity provides a nice ambience, though interiors can be enhanced.<br/><br/>We ordered 'Fahrenheit Special Tandoor Platter', which was filling and delicious; 'Cottage Cheese Skewers AOP' Sizzler was satisfying; 'Chicken Roulade with Perigourdine Sauce' was exotic and palatable with chicken nicely stuffed and spaghetti soft and tender; 'Vegetariana Supreme' Pizza was an exquisite dish. We relished all the dishes we tried.<br/><br/>In Cocktails we tried 'Rhode Island Ice Tea' which was nicely prepared n tasted really good; 'Bull Ice Tea' was not so great. In Mocktails we tried 'Flamme Bois Special' which was awesome and a must try; 'Home Made Ginger Ale' was average.<br/><br/>They win your heart by their food quality and presentation.<br/>Go majorly for the food quality n taste they offer and not for the drinks specifically.<br/>Go have a great time treating yourself the lavish food they serve!!

I've been here quite a few times but this is the first time that i am writing my review about it. Let me be clear, if you choose between 90% of things available on the menu, they will be almost spot on in taste and presentation of those items.<br/><br/>The menu offers a vide variety of dishes ranging from a lot of cuisines. We ordered a veg haka noodles, chicken in hot and sour sauce, another chicken dish with humus but i forgot the name of it. Service is a bit on the slower side.<br/><br/>So the noodles and chicken were bang on, taste perfect, quantity apt for two, the chicken with humus sauce was just about ok. Didnt liked the marination on it, the watermelon cooler was also ok, too much of lemon was used which made it a bit acidic.<br/><br/>Anyhow as i said, u generally cant go wrong here, they do their job well mostly. My only issue is the prices are a bit on the higher side. You can get the similar taste and quality at lot of places for lesser price. But still a must visit place for sure.<br/><br/>Taste: 8/10<br/>Service: 7/10<br/>Ambience: 8/10<br/>Value for Money: 6.5/10

The seating space is really nice and gives you that bistro vibe. The music is good. Most of the dishes are also good. On crowded days, the quality of food can go down, but otherwise they manage to serve good food. A must try snack is the Irani Kebab which is really soft and gives you that perfect taste. It is a gem. The Lebanese platter makes for a good filling snack too. <br/>The mocktails aren’t that great and can be skipped.

A small warm place with great colorful soothing decor and ambience. Came here for lunch , I loved the place, food ,service and ambiance . Staff was friendly, portions r nice 😀 Hawaiian salad was fantastic and baked yogurt was too good . Won’t prefer a pasta here ( red sauce one )The outdoor seating is really good 👍.

Having a good looking restaurant will only get you so far. The service is very bad and the staff is unprofessional. The food and restaurant are good but its so frustrating dealing with the staff that i would rather go somewhere else next time or just get the food to go.

This restaurant has indoor and outdoor sitting areas. I ordered quesadilla and i liked them. I really like they have different cuisines in their menu. The service and ambience are good. If you want to try different cuisines like Mexican, then Bistro is worth a shot!

The open sitting area behind is very good for your afternoon interactions and winter chills. The deserts and mocktails will surely be loved.

One of my fav to-go places in Ludhiana.<br/>Starting from their amazing salads and appetisers to great pizzas and sandwiches and ending on molten lava cakes and nitrogen ice-cream, they really have a widespread menu options.<br/>Usually crowded on the weekends, so plan ahead.<br/>Good ambience especially if you manage to sit in their outside area, which is sometimes accompanied by live music night.<br/>Prices are a little on the higher side but in all a good experience.<br/>When you’re here, don’t miss out on the Non-veg Caesar Salad, the Meatzaa pizza, and specially the molten lava cake.!

One of the better places in Ludhiana in all the terms you can think of - food, ambience, staff etc. Specially the ambience, on a chilly winter afternoon and a creamy broccoli soup in front of you. Life's good!

Lovely place with indoor and outdoor sitting options and serves delicious food across cuisines.<br/>I had chilli garlic noodles, pasta, pizza, Thai curry, kebabs etc and everything was fantastic.<br/>The ambience of the place is very good. The worst food I've had. The holy basil chicken was smelly, honey chilly potatoes were like french fries dipped in a weird honey sauce and the pad Thai was worst thing I've ever tasted. Dripping in soy sauce with no flavour whatsoever. We specifically asked for no chilly in the food but the only possible flavour our tastebuds got was a burn from the spice. <br/>Horrible experience.

You can sit for hour if ur waiting for someone, ambience is nice but food which we tried is worst. Had chocolate frappe its like drinking plain sugar drink. And white sauce chicken penne pasta is like thai green curry, good part is topping of coriander has its taste intact.

Great food - Great Service - Good size portion. All the traditional Indian dishes including mutton latpata tikka, paneer lababdar,chicken tikka tawa masala from conti side love the food presentation which is one eye apeling cottage cheese skewers and and sole fish roularde with vodhka and cranberry sauce It's traditionally made which I like. professionally trained servers will guide you trough the menu. all delicious..... An ambience that is so pleasent, and a super fast service; Flamme bois is definately that one near-to-perfect kind of a restaurant. It has almost everything present except for a professional staff as some of there waiters don't even know how to pronounce the names of the dishes.<br/><br/>Coming to its food; lasagna is something which I wanted to try as it's one of my favorite Italian dishes; it was perfect in taste and the moment you take the bite, it melts in your mouth; Heavenly!<br/>Though, I wanted to order the creamy spinach lasagna, but it wasn't available. I ordered two more dishes and they too weren't available. For rest of the dishes, I was quite skeptic to order.<br/>So, ended with a blueberry cheesecake, it was not fully satisfying, you can just skip it.<br/>Of course the menu has much more to offer, so definately going to try it again.<br/>

I have been to FLAMME BOIS many times for lunch but this was my first visit for dinner. As it was my 45 th birthday I wanted something special and I was not disappointed , chef made my day outside the menu preparation the staff were attentive without being intrusive, the ambience was lovely and welcoming. The food was fine dining but with good portions, chef and served to perfection, it was not cheap dining but if you want quality you have to be prepared to pay, having said that it was reasonably priced for an excellent meal and I will return!many thanks for chef.

Ambience and Decor are good,Presentation of food is great,and having perfect combination of Italian/Mexican cuisines..Red Sauce Pasta with Garlic Bread is good in taste,but Pizza must be avoided here,Base is too thin..

The ambience and service is always nice. But I found the food a bit spicy this time, specially the chinese non-veg platter. Although the veg platter was very nice. The mocktails were a bit salty too. However, the deserts were just superb. The bistro molten lava chocolate was the showstopper and baked yogurt was a nice delight to have.

Pizzaz needed to be better .. the service and ambience is good..but the food is not thas good as much the restrau is having its name .......

We went to have dinner here. We had a very terrible experience which i want to share. The owner/manager/server had so much attitude in them. The server who served the food just came and left the food on the table and didn't bother to even serve the food. Nobody even came and asked if we needed something. We finished our dinner and waited for more than 10 minutes and still nobody bothered to show up. We finally got up and ending up going to the front desk and paid the bill. The owner/manager himself had so much attitude that i would never ever go back to this place. I am not sure how could he run this business by showing this kind of attitude and giving this kind of customer service.

The Decor, Ambience and environment all is just too good. Specially on the outside its beautifully done. Service is nice. Food is great in terms of presentation but in taste and texture it needs some fixture. Chicken roulade i had here was completely dry and chicken too was not that great that tenderness was missing. Banofee pie was good in taste but again texture ruined it that too was dry, chewy, and way to sticky; had to struggle a lot to scoop it with a spoon.<br/>Cold coffee was nice and perfect. For food its not a value for money still.

Well I am not sure if I am used to different standard Of food and service or ludhiana as a city has a poor taste. We organised an official party of around 8 people, not even escorted to our seating place, we have to beg for water thrice and finally got it. Severs were undertrained, food was overlooked and too spicy, guess can blame the food for my food poisoning the next day to the food served here. There was nothing good about the place except the decor. <br/>Well sorry guys my visit to your restaurant really sucked and guess won't ever turn back. May you do justice to the decor in terms of food and service.

Bistro flamme Bois. Name so promising but the food not so. I would rate this place a very average place as their menu is really overpriced. Still the ambience is nice and really take a coumt on u. Hope they will improve the quality so it compliment s its overpriced menu. Enjoy

You dont expect such a good continental resturant in a small town...it awesone you can try out their non veg dishes everything is made to perfection starting from Lamb to the fish item...the chef would personally ask you about the quality...if you like continental please visit the joint

Place has an outdoor seating with beautiful lights and lawn area that is perfect for a winter evening and coffee. The food is also yummy. There chinese platter is quite yummy. Ginger ale is good too

Have been there quite a lot,,casual eatouts and parties..the best part is that the food never changes..always great..great wine collection and the ambiance is pretty amazing as well..go there you won't regret it..and yes all the things in the menu are awesome

I didn't think i would rate any place in ludhiana more than 4, but this place has wooed me.. The ambience is good and somehow they have maintained a classy crowd of people. The food was amazing. Hummus with pita bread and chicken was to die for. They also had a nice selection of wines which is rare in ludhiana. Fish with lemon butter sauce was spectacular.. Loved it!!

Mexican tacos were crispy and the stuffing was Yummy... Pizza was not the best one i had... The best thing was mocktails... I tried two and honestly they were so so good.. Thumbs up!

Rarely do I rate a place this highly, but this bistro absolutely deserves it. Great ambience (both indoor and outdoor seating), friendly service and amazing food! I had a plate of the Iranian kebabs, cold coffee and Blueberry pie, everything was lip smacking delicious! This place turned out to be a wonderful surprise for the foodie in me.

One of the best places visited in Ludhiana till now.  was on a casual business meeting/lunch. The food was really awesome and an ambiance to go with it.

My tastebuds were dying for some Lebanese flavour while I was in Ludhiana!<br/>A friend recommended this place to me and I have to say that the food here was worth the cost.<br/>I ordered a non-veg Mezze platter and it was wonderful. Another mentionable things on the menu are :-<br/>1. Meatza pizza<br/>2. Pan-fried chilly cheese<br/>3. Chilli chicken<br/>4. Red-sauce pasta<br/>5. Honey coated chicken wings<br/>6. Everything else under Lebanese cuisine<br/><br/>The place has nice ambience with a lovely outdoor sitting area. Also, they serve alcohol.

The first thing that appealed me about this restaurant is their sort of a secret out door dining area! It is assembled behind the building but the whole decor, lighting and that big tree gives it the perfect look👌🏽<br/>About the food now, we ordered a Falafal / Maze platter which tasted good (4/5) and the cold coffee was also delicious. I'm yet to try their main course. Will update the review after that !! <br/>All and all good food experience 👍🏽

Nice place! good hospitality!delicious food!Starting from italian, white pasta is nice with mushroom cream.. Yummy. . Chinese was also good.Also a special thanks to The management for this order was on them. A very gesture I must say.hope next time i visit again in your valuable property....

This was not my first visit to this place, but this place after having surprised on the upside the first tome has disappointed since. <br/><br/>Took my parents visiting from Delhi for a meal their and it was a disappointment is an understatement. <br/><br/>We ordered a couple of soups, the tomato basil was sweet (like cream of tomato) and the mushroom soup was watery and the quality of mushrooms used was below par!<br/><br/>Next came the paneer in green chilli... Which could be compared unfavourably with roadside chilly paneer.<br/>Nachos were horrible with some cheese, salsa and kidney beans mixed with Dorritos. Why high end restaurants deem using these in nachos as acceptable is beyond my understanding.<br/><br/>The veg au gratin was watery and thin, veggies undercooked. Pizza cheese was bad and smelled like it was old. <br/><br/>After one good and one mediocre experience this i guess was expected. Will give this place just another chance but that would be the last.
