Review The G.t. Road - Ludhiana

It's a good place to have food. Ambience is very good. It can accommodate a big group (I think 50-100) at a time. It's near to lift so no worries for persons having difficultly in walking (particularly Older once). So, much to eat and I fail to understand how they provide 50% discount which initially can appear very thrilling but subsequently you feel how are they surviving. Anyway Enjoy with your family

I really liked the vibe of this place. Beautifully done. Details have been closely looked upon. Their antique interiors are serene. Their chat and chaupati section in an antique vintage car is something unique. However, a typical Indian buffet, not many cuisines to offer. Staff is really courteous to note down the details and feedback to improvise. Tandoori Snacks are limited and decent enough. Main course has a huge variety to choose from and so does the dessert section. If you are not a teetotaller, jump on their cocktail menu. Vodka Shikanji and GTR LITs are something exclusive they have to offer. A quiet place away from the chaos. It is situated on the top floor of Silver Arc Mall, so you can definitely satiate your hunger pangs after watching a movie at pvr or when you are tired shopping at the most amazing brands out there.

Fabulous place for get together. Open space for Party. No place can beat G.T. Road around gurdev nagar. Atleast Once you should try roof experience with your chilled beer this summer-2021

The GT road is the place to go if u are in the mood of rich gravies and tasty kebabs.. Definitely a good place for a leisurely lunch.... I enjoy to visit there and feel osm

I went there with my friends for Christmas and earlier we were going to BBQ nation which was our regular spot but that day didn't got any reservations there so we just tried this restaurant and believe me guys from prawns to roasted chicken , from dahi papri in starter to mutton in main course and the interior and the service, everything was delicious and better, the time we came back , we decided to go there next time also, and there are some negative reviews which were also bothering us bt there was nothing as such, yes sometimes we encounter something we don't want but for a single person or incident, blaming the whole is nowhere a good idea. Anyways you must try and see the difference, and yes I tried the nonveg only so can't tell about veg. Thankyou regards

Just a sort of replica like barbecue nation, few snacks & items are just awesome. But few need improvement, variety needs to be added for non veg main course

There are a lot of barbeque cum buffet joints in Ludhiana and all of them have their USPs. GT Road's barbecue might not be at the same level as Barbecue Nation but it makes up for it with its wider menu, traditional decor and rustic cutlery.<br/><br/>For around 600 a head, the place offers 4 starters on the grill, another 3-4 served on the table, 5-6 different types of chaat, a decent buffet spread and nearly 20 types of deserts. The staff is more than willing to customise things as per your palate. But I can understand why a lot of reviews mention the poor service because the service can actually be a bit of hit and miss - prompt at times and sometimes incompetent despite 2-3 reminders.<br/><br/>In terms of the food - the bhelpuri served in mini buckets stands out both for presentation as well as fresh and crunch taste. The papdi chaat and palak patta chaat were also good. For deserts we loved the besan laddu and brownie. But avoid the pasta - after all this place is essentially for North Indian food. Even the biryani was so so and the laal mirchi naan was served slightly raw.<br/><br/>The concept of GT Road comes from the actual Grand Trunk road that connects Chittagong to Kabul via most of Eastern and Northern India and Pakistan. The menu is inspired by specialities served on various pit stops on this route. Give the place a try. It was surprisingly only half full even on a Sunday lunch despite rates being very competitive and a decent location in Silver Arc mall.

The staff blatantly told us that zomato gold can only be applied on buffet, not al-a-carte.<br/>

Biggest usp of this place is the behaviour of staff! Excellent service.<br/>Crockery was royal and reflect the proud heritage of ancient Punjab!!<br/>Snacks and food was not less than finger licking good! However, in desserts only jalebi rabri was worth eating except that other sweet dish need to be more fresh and could have better variety like pastries or puddings!<br/>Otherwise, its an excellent overall package !!

Worst food,too spicy,poor management..Worst ever monchow soup.bad Dali bhalla chat and zero quality..very bad experience.we only went their due to location in mall.wll never visit again..Not even a single thing we have order was tasty..we even wants to meet their chef but they said he has left for day..

Worst experience. Snacks were cold and stale. Manchow soup was average. All the veg main course was tasteless. Kadhi pakora was watery. Rice were uncooked and couldnt appreciate flavour of dum biryani. And at last, the desserts, gulab kheer was bitter and curdy. Poor service. No courtesy of staff. Friday night ruined. A tortorus experience.

The place has large sitting area with dim light interiors (perfect suited for dine in) <br/><br/>Talking about the food, starters are good, fusion drinks are a must try. They have different variety of food inspired from 4 countries. <br/>Main course contains a no. Of food items. Watch your starters if you want to try the mains. <br/><br/>Overall a great place to have a family dine in or a casual sitting with friends.

Love the ambiance and starters . The place needs a little improvement on the main course and desserts . I loved their drinks (non-alcoholic ) and the variety is amazing .

Nothing new as compared to existing barbeque players in the city. Staff is polite but the pace of service need to be improved further.New dishes should be introduced in starters as limited menu.

Another place in ludhiana for a lavish buffet, located in the silver arc mall, this place has a nice vintage touch to its interiors, there is a vintage demo car inside too, lot of paintings and pictures of kings and all sort of stuff, the cutlery is all made of brass, which means its a bit heavy but it all goes well with the vintage theme of the place.<br/><br/>Firstly let me list the positive things: The snacks like chicken tikka, mutton and fish tikka were really nice, all were perfectly cooked, very well marinated and the chilly fish was what you can call as perfection. The main course too was really good, noodles, fish and chicken were all cooked to perfection. They also offered a strawberry mojito complimentry.<br/><br/>Now the negative things: Service here is a BIIGGG issue, when we reached there and sat on our table, it took almost 10-15 minutes for someone to even notice that we were there, and once the service started, the quality of service was like a pendulum, it went from very good to very very poor, we were waiting for our breads for almost 15 minutes, and the dessert section needs improving, there arent enough choices to start with and then what is on offer is not too good with pan flavour ice cream as an exception.<br/><br/>If they can imrove on these two points, this place can be very good.<br/><br/>Taste:9/10<br/>Service:4/10<br/>Ambience:8/10<br/>Value for Money:7/10

The place looks great in ambience with beautiful antique pieces and great music, loved the vibe here. Coming to the food review, this place is more of Indian cuisine buffet, presentation of snacks is great (especially bhelpuri which is served in a mini bucket) and the taste is pretty decent. Coming to the main course, i personally didn't like the menu much and the taste is okay-ish. Desserts here are only indian like gajrela, shahi tukda, jalebi, etc which are good in taste but they could add more in their dessert section. Also, one concern is i didn't like the complementary drink part as they only serve fresh lime n pineapple panna and nothing else plus the quantity is also less as compared to other restaurants of the same type. I hope they take this into their consideration till my next visit. 😇

Discovered this new place in the Silver Arc Mall,  very beautiful ambiance, one of a kind. Loved the variety in buffet, they have a separate chaat corner on a vintage car that is not to be missed , the desi version  of cocktails is to die for.  A must visit place

Last night i visited at G. T road my over all experience was wonderful i love their service food was excellent . There was serve in my table. His service was also very good

Not great at all .. no taste no variety , drinks are okey ... music is the best part ... but it is costly also and no taste .. I will not suggest this place to anybody .. They need a lot of improvements

Place was ok but menu was very very small as compared to competion ...starters, main course and desserts were ok ....but variety of dishes..sad

When it comes to buffet .. The ambiance was v good .. I prefer once tried that buffet bcz it newly opened in town. Well i found the taste is some good like chaat etc. Some missing western dessert in compare to other buffet and in live counter also.<br/>Whether you are vegetarian or non vegeterian doesnot matter .. You will enjoy and go once.. 😍

Food is too spicy , poor management- waited for repeated snacks too long , staff is unexperienced .<br/>Rightly said first impression is the last impression, so it failed. Needs adequate training to run barbeques.<br/>
