I absolutely loved the food at Zafarani Zaika. I tried one of their popular dishes called Mutton Tawa and loved the zaika. Loved the preparation and the way it’s served with Roomali Roti. The best part is that the roomali Roti is stuffed with the dry gravy of Tawa mutton which makes it so scrumptious. Mutton tawa is a MUST TRY!! <br/><br/>We also ordered biryani with raita served in earthen pot. And absolutely loved it. Again a must try but Tawa mutton is my ultimate favourite. Both these things served three and the price was about 800. Found it pretty reasonably priced.

The best in the vicinity of PAU and in Ludhiana city. They don't compromise on quality as well as quantity. The owners are very soft spoken, decent and good to talk and they listen patiently to the demands of the customers. Whether we order directly or via food app, their quality remains the same. So far this is the best eating joint as compared to all the other eating joints in all over Ludhiana city. Kindly maintain your standard the same and you will be happy, if we are happy. Also the packing quality is too good. Incomparable!!!

I feel like this place is little overrated. The chicken proportion was good but the taste was average. It had so many cardamom seeds along with it's cover all over, it was difficult to find a single bite without it. Packaging was fine but didn't like the biryani that much.

Ordered boneless Murg Zaffrani Khaas but it wasn't boneless and the gravy was pathetic. There was a hair in Lachha Prantha and no green chillies in Hari Mirch Prantha (it was literally Red) as they used Red Chilli Powder. Horrible taste! Not even a single thing tasted good.

Ordered karahi chicken boneless. The dish had very little chicken and only gravy.<br/><br/>I had ordered full chicken and hardly any chicken was there. Also, it seems the cook prepared the boneless dish by taking out chicken from with bone pieces.<br/><br/>Bad experience.

Zafrani- A small joint near stationery market needs no introduction because of its popularity among the student population of Dmc and Pau .<br/>.The place serves excellent Non Vegetarian snacks and gravies like the famous buttery Zafrani chicken.<br/>The same cant be said about its biryani though.<br/>.<br/>People are a big fan of the dish but we found it meh at the max.The raita served was delicious with sweet-sour taste.

Tawa chicken is the best to try here. Worth it.<br/>Service is quick and simple. You'll be served in car, there is space to park your car on the opposite side. No ambience. Not good for sitting. But the food is good.

Needs a lot of improvement in the preparations. We ordered for Chicken Seekh Kebab, Dum Ghosht Biyani with Mila Jula Raita. Chicken seekh was soft and tender but lacked the punch of flavors and ingredients. The biryani could not manage to live up to my expectations! Though served in traditional handi, it lacked the flavors and aroma of a ghosht biryani. The mila jula raita, even though little on the sweeter side, somehow managed to keep me going.

Don't be fooled by the small shop or the sort-of secluded location of this eatery. With the food being as good as it is, the low prices is just the cherry on top. The Dal Makhani and the Paneer Pakheeza is a definite must have for the veggies out there. And the for the non vegetarians, the chicken is to die for. Do try the Chicken Zaafrani and the Chicken Nawabi for main course. It's a delight. <br/>Unfortunately, they do not have any seating, but they do serve in the car. And the home delivery is pretty quick as well. The owners are very hospitable.<br/>If you haven't already, head out and give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

On my cousins recommendation I called for a Home Delivery today. First of all the order was delivered in more then 2 hours time. The food was cold and pale. Chicken liver was pathetic. Guess they need to know what a liver looks and taste like. The Naans were not chewable at all. Overall didn't even feel like give then 1 rating as well but guess we don't have an option here. Think twice before trying this outlet.

Although the place is very small the food is extraordinarily delicious. I ordered the seekh Romalli roll they melt in your mouth with rich pudina chutney. It is utter amazing. 4 because they have the worst biryani in world. I am myself a biryani fan. I make it sure to eat biryani to every North Indian restaurant to I go. Chicken biryani was tasteless and the chicken was raw. I don't know how people say that it was the best biryani in the world. I had a stomach bug next morning because of the biryani. Overall not a good place to eat biryani.
