Food is amazing. We tried Shahi Paneer, Mixed Vegetable, Butter Naan & Ghee Roti. All the food items were awesome! Staff's behaviour too is good! Liked the ambience too.

Friends is one of the oldest best-selling food restaurants in old Ludhiana. Food taste and quantity are just amazing. It's a family restaurant with unique flavors and tastes. Since its beginning, they haven't changed their food taste and quality. The speed of serving food is amazing.

Had heard a lot of good reviews about authentic Punjabi taste in food of this place. Tried once,we ordered one Paneer dish, Dal Makhni & Naan. Food preparation was good with lot of Butter. Liked their Dal Makhni. In my view,it's good but slightly overhyped. Seating arrangement & ambience may need a makeover considering the crowd.

Food taste is so good and fresh. Staff is active and energetic.. But one gimic is there, If you visit any restaurant/food court in India, they are offering you normal drinking water free of cost. If you ask for mineral water, they served on chargeable basis... At this place, Staff simply provide you mineral water bottle without your demand and If you consume it, you have to pay 20 rs. for it... It is wrong practice. One positive thing is that if you raise your voice at reception, they deduct money for the same and provide a bill for food only. People awareness plays a vital role at this place.

Friends Dhaba - Ludhauina in market This one of the old place for authentic panjabi food in Ludhauina. They server amazing double tadka dal . Tomato cheese masala, palak panner amazing paratha and amazing khir and dal. They don’t serve rice. Very pocket friendly place. If you go ludhiana must try place. All over amazing experience.

Serving food since 1962 friends dhaba has variety of delicious food to offer. Yummy double dal tadka, paneer butter masala, mix veg are good . Fresh butter tandoori roti very delicious. Location of dhaba is on kothi meer Singh road 2 km away from ludhiana. Parking space is available.

Very old hotel with no variation in taste. There are just a few dishes in the menu booklet. Just one raita( lauki raita) . I think there must be more options. But the quality of food is always good. Great service. But the atmosphere isn't very impressive . We asked for a simple curd if there wasn't any other option, but they refused.

One of the oldest and best dhaba in Ludhiana. Best taste very cheap price and good services. In old times it was famous with the tag that it’s situated Opp to Navlakha talkies.

Visited first time 6 years back and had a nice food here. We visited recently and its really very nice and had the same delicious food.

The Iconic Friend's Dhaba of Ludhiana folks. 100% vegetarian (not vegan).Very near the Railway Station (walking max 5 mins). Famous for Kali Dal Tadka & Prantha. Shudh Desi Ghee is used here. And for all lover's of Maa Ki Dal Tadka with Paranthas this is one u cannot miss. Also on the menu is Shahi Paneer, Baingan Ka Bhartha, Mixed Vegetable, Cheese Tomato & a host of other things but the most ordered dishes are the ones I have stated. Not cheap, not expensive, in the medium range. Opens near Lunch Time, 12'O'Clock & closing time around 11:30pm. But best to come around 8pm if you don't want to wait for seating. On weekends dinner time the waiting time can be 20 to 30 minutes & you really hv to stand outside, or wait in yr nearby parked car. A Very Huge Commercial Complex is coming up just opposite the dhaba but it's still a couple of years before it will be operational. Good place to bring family but don't expect any ambience. Enjoy the food. For desert they hv their special kheer. Cold drinks & Bottled Water available.
