Sri Ambika Upahar - Madikeri - Photo album

Had breakfast in first visit and dinner in second visit. Idli vada, mysore masala dosa and masala dosa were good. Gudbud is signature dish here. Liked it. Dinner was okayish. Not so spicy and roti seems to be made of maida and so was difficult to chew.
Very nice veg restaurant in madikeri. Parking is available. Restaurant at 1st floor. Food was so tasty , delicious. They provide different dishes with delicious taste. Fruit juice and ice Cream available. Every South Indian food available. They have good washroom facilities available. Loved to v
Visited this restaurant to have our lunch during the Christmas weekend so obviously there was a rush. It took a while for us to get a seat for three. We ordered 3* Premium Thali and believe me it was sumptuous. More than seven different menu with Poori, Fried rice, Curd rice and at last Ice cream. P
Amazing place to stop for a meal. Their South Indian Meal thali is a must try. If you are not a big eater then one thali is good enough for 2 people to share. The prices are too reasonable and very cheap.
Good option for veg in madikeri. Service was very quick and the food was tasty. Tried the roti dal and sambar. The location is on the main road itself on the first floor.
Dropped by here after reaching madikeri. I ordered the Mysore masala dosa, rava dosa and coorg special coffee. It was so damn tasty I ended up eating one more dosa. You get really tasty south Indian veg food. Very close to the madikeri bus stand. Must drop for breakfast if in coorg.
One of pure vegetarian restaurants of the Madikeri and in peak time fully packed and crowded. Food quality is good but in peak time service could be delayed. Attached Pic is of Titanic Ice-cream platter... Family loves it.
We had North Indian food. The food tasted awesome at a reasonable price. Service was very quick. The staff were too good.
Good place with good veg food at reasonable prices. Bit old school and gets very crowded during weekends, but the service and food make up for it. Good choice of South and North Indian dishes, all served within 15 minutes even with the restaurant full and lot of takeaway orders.
Had breakfast twice and dinner once during our stay in Madikeri. Nothing to complain. One star taken away only because of the fact that tables should have been cleaned more hygienically and services could have been done more enthusiastically.
If you veg lover then this place was yours but main disadvantage is as always crowded so you need to wait whenever you visit here 😊…. Many menu varieties and good tasty food not economical and difficult to park your car . But I like this place for their tasty food
If you are an outsider and visiting Coorg or any other place, finding a good restaurant is highly difficult. Can't trust online ratings. If you are in Madikeri this is the best place to sit and eat 3 times a day. Yummy foods whatever you take. Price wise bit expensive but instead of having bad food
Tasty Bhramin style food. Hospitality is good. Good value for money.
Crowds tell the story of the place. The food has a wide variety- although vegetarian only. South India, North Indian, Jain- they seem to have it all. Efficient service, not all that courteous. Large airy halls add beauty. You also have the window side smaller tables overlooking the crowded road. Wa
We visited in a busy weekends..have to wait a long for sit and food . Service is bit slow. Waiters are not that polite which they need to. Food is good and tatsy. However portion is small. Lassi is a must try
It’s one of the most famous restaurants in Madikeri. It’s a best option for pure veg and a good option for non-veg. The taste was decent but not the best. When I visited this place in the night, most of the seats were filled. Most of the tourist prefer this hotel to have their Breakfast /Lunch/dinne
