Hotel Restaurant Amsavalli Bhavan - Madurai - Photo album

I also had the opportunity to visit Amsavalli non-veg restaurant during my trip to Madurai. The restaurant is located in a bustling area and is easily accessible. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with the aroma of delicious food being prepared in the kitchen. The ambiance was cozy and inviting
Different flavour of biryani, one can thoroughly enjoy this uniqueness. All said hospitality department looks like resigned , I see they are renovating little ambience will make it pleasant exp. CB is top notch.
Their roots trace back to even before 1952 at Devakottai. It was only from 1952 that Mr Gopal Pillai started the restaurant at Madurai in his beloved wife's name, "Amsavalli Ammal". They have been in the service for almost 70yewrs now. Pros 1. Topnotch soup, and they are known for it. It will be av
Their Biryani taste is unbeatable. But the quantity they provide doesn’t do justice at all. They give you the main course in a very minimal quantity like in a starter plate. This restaurant may seem the most overhyped, but they still don’t have a proper customer service in place. Ambience is not wel
Food was good. Could have been better. We had to wait with many others for quite some time. Consider expanding your dining space, adding more waiters, accept non cash payments. Overall a must try place.
I went to the restaurant, and the takeaway included two mutton biryani. However, despite the good quality, I found that the quantity was quite low. Additionally, there was a portion of boneless chicken priced at 200 rupees, which included six pieces. Overall, the taste is suitable for special occasi
One of the oldest restaurants in madurai., famous for its early morning biriyani and non veg foods. Zeeraga samba rice is used for biriyani with delicious taste. Many varieties of chicken and mutton being served. Cost wise little high for the quantity being served, could have been little more... L
One of the oldest restaurants in Madurai. The taste of the food is super. If the hotel is upgraded like other hotels, more customer will visit. Only Cash will be accepted, no Gpay or POS. Must try: Briyani, fish fry and chicken varieties.
A homely taste Briyani. Madura Chicken. Kola urundai. Amsavalli Favourite Apple Juice. In Briyani, spices are enough. Not more spicy. Same old Taste.
There is no match for their country chicken biryani and apple milk. Very unique flavor and it has been consistent over years. ❤️
I really liked the taste... I had mutton biriyani, chicken 65 and chukka. The ambience is poor and could not be considered as a good eatery. However the taste of the dishes is really awsome. There isnt much options for vegetarians also they dont have parking space.
A restaurant with a legacy! A lot of things can be improved. The lunch I had was really tasty and that's the bottom line I guess! Parotta, nenju elambu gravy and grape juice. Spicy, loaded with oil and cooked to perfection. The meat was really tender and just came off the bone. Really good place to
