The location is ideal on a quiet street with a good view. The service was friendly and quick. The food was filling and delicious. They serve alcohol as well. The tables along the balcony are the best for watching people on the street.

Slightly overpriced for what they offer. They have good options for breakfast though. I had crepe, eggs and juice here and they were good. The restaurant also offers a good view and the beach is quite nearby so you can have something from here and head over to the beach.

Quality and Tasty food. Especially beef stick is yummy and delicious. One of my friend informed me about this shop, but we went almost 4 times in a two months, thats much we loved the taste. Apart from food, you can see the collection of indian faces in photos that they have as a theme of a shop. Loved entirely and each.

The ambience and the food here is too gud. REAL FRENCH! Not those indianised French dishes. Even the paneer chilly was one of the best I have eaten in a long time.

I got to know this place via another restauranteur. The interiors looked like French designs and kept me engaged while I was waiting for my food. Even though they had a quite impressive menu card, actually I had limited choices to select from. That's was a bit of a downside. But the food I ordered, Tawa Prawn with Chips was quite tasty and impressive. From what I see they have regular customers. The place also serves beer and also allows smoking.

The food was upto the mark..Decent place to hang out and chill. The owner is really friendly and asks for feedback to improve upon.. All and all good place to hang out .. Would really recommend to try plain omelet and chips..the omelet is really thin and fluffy..really liked it and so does the paneer in chilly paneer was really soft and tasty..

A really really nice and relaxing place with good decor. The owner is nice and warm. The food is really good. We got milk coffee, mixed sea food platter, tuna sandwich and Nutella crepe. Do try it out!

Bored with the food at the beach side shacks , we decided to try out this place.....nicely setup place with a small library is a perfect place to have to relaxing lunch .....<br/>We ordered fried rice with garlic prawn , steam rice with boneless chicken , chicken sandwich , and a mushroom omelet with fries ....<br/><br/>Everything we ordered was great ....<br/>We ordered a milk tea pot at d end of the meal .....<br/>The owner greeted us warmly .....<br/>Had a good nice relaxing afternoon lunch here !!!

Nautilus is a well located restaurant. The place is beautiful especially by night.<br/><br/>The food is really tasty. Indian and French plates are served.<br/><br/>The chicken noodles are delicious, and so are the bolognaise pasta, the steack tartare, the steack frites and the banana fritters.<br/><br/>The breakfast menu is good too. Crepes, tea, eggs, porridge are served and are tasty.<br/><br/>The french boss also welcomes some people and explains the origin of some drinks.<br/><br/>Their Ponche is so good.<br/><br/>I recommend it !

New place on Othavadai street and definitely worth a visit. Run by a pleasant French man named Jack, the food is delicious with hints of French cooking. Ordered fish curry with rice and garlic fish with rice. Both the preparations had distinct flavours. Fish is cooked well. Another favourite at this place is the cheese omelette with chips. It's delicious and comforting. Pocket friendly place with warm interiors. Jack is very polite and ensures that everyone at the restaurant is looked after. All in all, my new favourite eatery at Mahabalipuram.

I absolutely love this place. Quirky ambience and a good menu. Pocket friendly food in generous quantities. Egg fried rice, veg noodles and veg cheese grilled sandwich were three dishes we ordered and was completely filling although sandwich is something I wouldn't recommend you to order. Welcoming staff and fast service. Good music. Gives you real beach feels.

Such a beautiful ambience with wooden and bamboo furniture is what turned us on. It is run by a French gentleman jack who is very customer friendly. We had lunch breakfast here. Breakfast included sandwiches, crepes and omelette. Check out there range of crepes from Nutella to coconut chocolate. So yummy ! Lunch included tawa prawns which is and spicy starter, some phulkas and chicken curry. I also loved the carrot juice which was very fresh and tasty. Very warm and earthy surrounding. Nice people and good food. Life's good!

Go to Nautilus for a simple english breakfast, much like the shacks on any other beach minus the drinks of course. <br/>Limited menu but specializes in egg varieties and fresh fruit juices. The cheese sandwich makes an exception which tastes like the sandwiches mum makes for you at home. Mostly caters to the foreign tourists who are visiting the beach closeby (Mahabalipuram). The chicken noodles are pretty average and the beer costs almost double the MRP ,but you can order a punch for 80 bucks.<br/>But all said and done, the cheese omelette is pretty amazing and the owner comes personally to see if you are satisfied with the food and service.
