Ultimate place to eat seafood .. just finished an awesome dinner . Ordered rice and fish curry. Clearly one of the tastiest fish curries , reminded me of my mother's cooking.. if you are staying anywhere near fishermen's colony in Mahabalipuram ( I stayed at Oceanside ) , your must visit place for dinner.
I ordered a fish curry with plain rice at Johnny's Corner Sea Food Restaurant and it was really delicious. I enjoyed it a lot.
I went back the next day and had some tomato salad, prawn curry and rice. It was again absolutely delicious.

The place is small and the ambiance is not a polished one. However the food is absolutely divine. We had Grilled Fish, Fish Curry and Rice. It was a treat. Go for the taste of food alone. The place is a tad bit expensive and the food is prepared per order (as this is a small family run business). This means that a waiting time is involved and making orders all at once is more time saving that adding orders one by one.
A neat place close to beach, for a quite lunch or dinner with family. Fish is tasting extraordinary. Felt little costly but if we go as family and share , it's fine.
Had food with Phillip and his wife every day for two months. Never disappointed. Always super tasty good food.

The fish market is close by..pick up fresh prawns and ask them to cook it for you!!! U'll love it!!
We were well received at Johnny's. We didn't want to stuff ourselves so we ordered the fish masala and tava fish. They came with carrot slices and a wedge of lime. They were very tasty. The owner was friendly and his wife cooked up our order. We paid 300 rupees a fish. It was well worth the money. It is a short walk from the shore temple.
