Located opp Alila Diwa Goa, this is an underrated restaurant serving different variety of cuisine at a reasonable price. I ordered Squids stuffed with sausages (you must definitely try this), Nasi Goreng and a saffron cheese cake and loved all of them. Value for money.
Due to off season restaurant was empty and I prefer non crowded place. Ambience was great and service was good. Loved the Goan potato chops. Biryani was yummy and fish were fresh. Overall food was tasty.
I stumbled upon this beautiful establishment while staying near Majorda Beach. It offers an extensive menu with a lot of Italian, Chinese and Indian options.
Almost everything I tried was mouth licking good. Staff's hospitality is remarkable. Cherry on top is that they accept zomato gold.
Must try - shakahari platter, risotto in pesto sauce, Veg thali
I visited this place last week. I reserved the table through Zomato. It was a pleasant experience.
It's open air dining with soft music and comfortable seating.
I ordered some drinks, a virgin mojito cocktail which was amazing.
For starters, i ordered Peri peri fish fingers & King fish fry. Both were outstanding in taste & flavors. The presentation was good.
I am really fond of Thalis. I ordered their Special fish thali which included local fried fish of the day, shell fish of the day, fish curry, dal waran, Sol kadhi, rice, pickle.
This is the most ultimate comfort food I have ever had in a long time. Must definitely try this.
Overall, it was an amazing experience. The Host, Mr. Ankur was really cooperative. Service is fast.
The restaurant has a beautiful ambience. It has semi-open air seating and is surrounded by trees. My partner and I relished our Sunday lunch here surrounded by the sounds of rain and rustling leaves.
The staff is very polite. The food and drinks were amazing. We ordered an Asian noodle bowl and special fish thali along with watermelon caprioska. Everything was delicious. The entire meal was fairly pocket friendly.
We rode a scooty here from Benaulim specially to visit this place and it was totally worth it.
Certainly revisiting this place. ❤️
Their service is good here. Some of the starters we had were Really nice. But the main course chicken curry could have been better.
Go Goa Goan
If you have come to tour in South Goa and want to try Goan dishes, I would totally recommend you to come and eat here.
It's an open air restaurant.
Trust me, the rates provided by them are reasonable, the quantity given by them is huge and the taste mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Pictures may not do much justice, but we overate and even had to ask them to parcel it.
Great service, all the waiters were friendly.
If you're doubtful on what to eat, convey it to the waiters and they will recommend the dishes to you.
And yeah as you're in Goa try the Cashew Feni with Sprite(great combination).
I didn't say it then but if you see this ZBF, please give my thanks to the chef.
Note: Even if there's no rush in the restaurant and think you are the 1st one to be there, don't worry just go in and order.
MUST DINE HERE.
Excellent food! Very courteous and warm staff! Paradise for veggies looking for some yummy food. We tried the vegetable mousakka and the cottage cheese steak on tomato risotto.
The fish thali was absolutely yummy with the curry on point in flavour and perfectly cooked king fish.
Mocktails we’re great too which was a bonus, we were so full that we couldn’t keep any space for dessert. Must visit place!!!
ZBF is very very very good. Went for a wholesome dinner with my colleagues. They treated us overwhelmingly good.
Thanks to Shaan and Team.
Chef is really good. The chef knows their forte.
Go for it, you’ll have fun if you are into a cool lively evening.
Didn’t get to meet the owner but he greeted us on the phone.
Thanks ZBF for the complement.
Recently visited this restaurant in Betalbatim and we must say it’s one of the best in that area! Their quality of food and service is remarkable. The place looks very classy and decent with sufficient seating area.
Must try: Peri peri fish fingers, Nasi Goreng, Ziggys cassata with chocolate sauce
We ordered:
- Peri peri fish fingers: Must try. Loved these panko fried fish fingers! Turmeric infused dip was amazing. It complemented the fish fingers very well.
- Ziggys crab cakes: These pan fried herb crusted crab cakes were yummy! Though it was not loaded with crab meat, it was good. It’s served with feni mayo! Again, great combination.
- Bhatti se platter: Consists of Tandoori Prawns, Fish tikka, Chicken tikka and Shikamburi kebab. Prawns and fish tikka had amazing flavours! Shikamburi kebabs was something new that we tried and it was good. Chicken tikka was overcooked. The chef promptly accepted the mistake and made new portion for us which turned out to be great!
- Nasi Goreng: Highly recommended. This was the star dish for us. It was full of flavours and was served with chicken satay and prawns wafers.
- Calamari chips: These were very crunchy as the calamari rings were finely cut! Served with tartar sauce, it’s great option for munching over something light.
- Ziggys cassata with chocolate sauce: Loved this! Cassata has been an integral part of our childhood and this dessert took us down the memory lane. Chocolate sauce was like a cherry on the cake!
- Saffron cheesecake: Cheesecake was frozen and not fresh. It was so hard that we couldn’t even finish it.
Service: Courteous and respectful staff. Prompt and quality service.
Price: Most of the items are in range of 250 to 350 bucks.
Would definitely recommend this place!
We went for the sushi festival to Ziggy's and were throughly delighted! We ordered the set menu which was totally worth it. with 2 different starters, soup, 4 different types of sushi and desert.
The service was excellent by Monisha who was such a delightful person
They even gave us a complimentary drink a lavender lemonade (one of my favorites at Planet hollywood)
The ambiance was really relaxing. The linen and cutlery was spotless white and crisp, the surroundings were cheerful and extra clean.
An overall superb experience. Kudos to the management and staff for the excellent Job they are doing!
The best food I have had in Goa till date and one of the best anywhere! We had 3 dishes and all of them were as good as they get. I had to personally complement the Chef, was fortunate to taste the dishes prepared by this young talent, Frank on our last day in Goa.
The restaurant has a very young and vibrant vibe and the staff(Celson) is highly service oriented. Can hardly wait to come again next year and treat our taste buds here!
Kudos to the owners for coming up with this gem of a place in South Goa!
Keep up the good service and food quality!

Awesome food! Best seafood cuisine in the area. Very friendly and courteous staff. Mr. Wilbert is always up to serve you the best. Must try the Sunday brunch and the seafood thali. Hygiene factors were kept in mind as well!
Chef Souvik will transport your palate from this wonderful restaurant without a doubt, between pleasure, harmony, flavour, sweetness, crunchy or crispy. Let yourself be carried away by this sensual sweetness and taste, a real pleasure with a value for money / experience of taste that for me is one of the very best in South Goa, right in front of the hotel Alila Diwa. Since, I came back for 2 months, M. Souvik is gone and its a definitly a big loss.
Good food and good ambiance. The Indonesian rice with prawn poppers tasted good. The starters like chicken ghee roast could have been better. Chicken hot and sour soup was delicious.
It's a nice place.
ZBF gave us a super dining experience; so much so that we returned for another meal the same evening. The food was uniformly excellent - fish thalis for lunch and steak/pork belly/burger for dinner. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I will probably visit every time I am in South Goa.
Good food. Nice staff and good atmosphere. Went there for a brunch..
