Review Johnson Bar & Restaurant - Manali

Racoon
The lodge is centrally located and walkable distance from mall road, Hidimba Temple and small cafés. The restaurant and cafe has European vibes and a good ambience. The food is above average. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. It is an old property. Although it’s centrally located it has a small and cozy. There are a lot of seating options. Overall the experience was decent and comfortable. However the cafe had live band at night and the loud continued till midnight.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained. Ample parking space, lovely lawn outside and right in the center of Manali

Mouthwatering trout, delicious vegetable fry with herbs, sauce was prepared in-house, great ambience with live music after 7pm. Basanti always had a smile, very comforting and respectful. She had great ideas and helped us move when the electricity was off and the fans went off. Great decision-making abilities and very spontaneous, eager to help. Thank you for your hospitality as we had a great time. Kudos to your band!!!!!

My husband and I were walking and stopped by the cafe restaurant, we absolutely loved the burger and fries! We had Thai curry too. The pizza looked so good but we didn’t get a chance to try it. The food also came out VERY fast! Wait staff was super nice and packed the food!

We went to their restaurant, ambience was great, live music was also good. Food was great with respect to taste, although, their menu had very limited options. Their service was also a little bit on the slower side.

One of the finest places to try out trout fish according to my knowledge. Be it the interior decoration or the whole campus of the place, this café is undoubtedly a pleasure to be at and praiseworthy. Returning from Hamta Pass trekking this very café may give you some extra kick. The food is outstanding I repeat. 🤩

If you can forgive the extremely arrogant staff, the food is great and the property is beautiful. They specialise in trout dishes and the lamb is good too! I consider their wood fired pizzas among the best in Manali.

Very beautiful cafe located on Loghuts Road near Mall Road. Loved the ambience. When we went here for dinner they had a live band. We ordered Garlic Grilled Trout and Wood fired Pizza. Both of the dishes were excellent. Cocktails too.

Went to the cafe for a quick grub and beer. My wife who's not a great fan of fish loved their speciality Himalayan Trout. Loved the vibe. Service was up to mark. Staff are well mannered and they suggested that I try the Himalayan Trout. Definitely worth going to this place.
