Review Chopsticks - Manali

aman malhotra
Chopsticks on Manali Mall Road is a culinary haven with delectable dishes and warm hospitality. The location is prime, and the tasty food is complemented by the ever-smiling manager at the counter. Even during the off-season, the place buzzes with activity, a testament to its popularity. What's even better? The prices are reasonable, making it a win-win. A must-visit spot for those seeking both flavor and cheerfulness!

This is hands down an awesome restaurant in Manali! Perhaps the best! Why? Food is delicious, service is good, Hollywood songs playing which gives you a break from the whole Indian vibe -and the owner is such a cool person! Loved my breakfast pancake & other Tibetan dishes like the momos. Great location. Highly recommend

In our four days in Manali, we came to Chopticks thrice. If that doesn't describe how amazing the place is, I don't know what does. This place serves excellent Tibetan, Indo-Chinese and Nepali food. We loved the ambience. It was warm and inviting and the music made it very soothing, relaxing and comfortable. The menu is diverse with options for everyone. We loved the fried Trout, but remember they can get quite big. The one we had was more than enough for the two of us. We highly recommend trying out Tingmo with Shapta. I wish they had Chicken Shapt, but they seem to have just Mutton at the moment. So to make up for it, we had the Sote Chicken Hong Kong Style (I'm pretty sure it's "Saute" but spelt differently). The quantity was no joke! And the taste was AWESOME. Not to mention, the staff is SO friendly and accommodating. We're visiting here again for sure!

Had a dinner worth every penny! The fried mutton momos, the shredded lamb curry, fried rice, lemon water - everything was better than how we expected them to be. The chef knows his art, the interior is ambient, exactly how it's supposed to be. The music compliments the food that they serve. The people serving there are super helpful and helpful. What else would you need to end a long day of sightseeing, travelling, and roaming around the hill town? Leaving Chopsticks Manali a 5-star rating, highly recommended!
Nabarupa Pal
Loved their chicken thupka.. flavourful, tasty, satisfactory quantity. One bowl can easily serve two people. But their chicken momo was the best. Authentic, soft, juicy momo was the hotcake for that chilly evening. Also the ambiance was good.

This restaurant is situated at the heart of the market place in Manali. We had ordered mutton momos, chicken sizzler and mixed chowmin and trout fish from here. All the items were really tasty and we enjoyed and alot with such good food. The service took a little bit of time but it was worth it.

Located on the busy street of Manali mall road don't miss to make a stop and refresh with the amazing food served here, we tried the sizzler, thupa soup, schezwan rice and sushi portion size was great for 2 people to share. Would advise to avoid the sushi other food served and service with a calm dining area makes it a must visit place on mall road.
Akshansh Choudhary
Portions were big, enough for 2 people. We ordered two dishes and couldn't finish both. Price is also reasonable and worth every penny.
Siddharth Sikri
This is one of those few places where the food was so good that I did not get to take any pictures. My favourite dish was the mutton momos. You don't even need any sauce for these momos. We tried various other starters and noodles as well. I will definitely visit this place every time I'm in Manali.

Great food and service ! Very happy, definitely coming here again!

As always the food is great. Been here a few times now. The taste is good. The portions are more than enough for 2 persons. The prices are budget friendly. Service is fast and good. Overall in my opinion it is a place to visit when in Manali and you have a craving for Chinese. They have Continental in their menu but never tried it. Will surely in my next visit.

Its one of the best asian restaurant in mall road. The quantity the provide is ample and the prices are reasonable. I went there everyday when was in manali.
Nishchay Singh
Most amazing Tibetian food in Manali. Must try.
Niks
Nice clean place with good food. The chicken momos aren't the best. The trout was good and so were all the main courses. Noodles in black bean sauce is something different and nice. Good portion size.

It's a lovely cosy little restaurant that one can't miss when you visit the Manali market area. The ambience is simple and cosy. The place seemed popular and the place gets filled up. They serve even drinks which is a plus point and what we were looking for. The Kati Patang Beer was just too good. All the foods we ordered was the best I have eaten in recent years The service was spot on and one person was able to manage the whole place which was admirable. Looking forward to come here on my next visit and recommend anyone who wants his money worth. Just awesome. Thanks 😊

We went there in The month of February . Yet it was a crowded place . We got our table after 10-15 min of waiting . Servers were too busy and took around 20-25 min to attend us . We ordered Sushi , chicken schnitzel , jumbo prawns , bottle of wine and beer . Though All went nice but taste of chicken schnitzel was horrible. It was like just chicken fried Gram-flour batter with 100 times used oil . Advisable to look around other restaurant available Nearbuy .

The food is really good, Taste is excellent and portion is generous. The Chilli Chicken Dry is a must have. The sea food is good but the fried dishes are oily although a very well recommended place and the dumplings are excellent as expected but chutney could have been better.
Rahul Yekkundi
It’s a great place and very good ambience. The place is catering Tibetan, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous but if your money is also good. It is a must visit please if you are in Manali
Deepak Khatri
Tried Spring Roll, Dumplings and chilli chicken during recent visit to chopsticks.
Spring roll was not so good because it was not crispy, dumpling were good, it was hot and fresh.
Chilli chicken were also worth of money.
Service was good, ambiance was average.

This place is situated on the Mall Road in Manali. If you want to have great food you cannot miss this place. I had ordered THUKPA and thentuk both were amazing in taste. Chopstick special chowmein is one of the dish that I would surely recommend. The service is a little slow as I guess they have only one staff to serve. But overall it is a great place to have great food.

With our four day stay in Manali it was our goto place to relax and fill ourself. They have a amazing decor and soups are just amazing.

Went there with some apprehension after reading a lot of negative reviews on Zomato about racist behaviour. On the contrary, was pleasantly surprised to find an amicable gentleman as the owner - Mr. Wang, who was very sweet and hospitable. The food was equally awesome. One of the best Momos we have ever had and the dessert uniquely named "Hello to the Queen" was to die for. A foodie's paradise and a must visit joint when in Manali.

Food was ok
Location Good
Good Zomato Ratings ( Don't Know How )
Came out without Ordering as the Owner Taking Order was so Rude dint feel like Ordering and Cancelled my Order
( Racist Behaviour to be Precise )

Had great dinner at this nice small and cozy place. Value for money. Tasty and fresh.

If you are in manali mall road, do try this restaurant. The seating is really good with good interior. The ups is the portion size which is really good. We went for the crispy vegetables chilli dry, it was batter fried veggies and not a Chinese dish. Good that the staff informed as the same when we placed our orders. It was good but we could finish it.
Mukesh Kumar
Ok place to eat in market area if you are food lover, ambience is good. Food is average nothing out of the world.

Try the butter potato momo, it’s the best I have ever had, along with the brilliant egg fried rice. We had haka noodles, stir fry veggies in Hong Kong sauce, spring rolls, grilled trout, spinach and cheese momos, veg sushi, chicken momos fried and a few cold drinks. The ting mo (Tibetian bread) is great but needs something specific to blend with as a side dish.

The rice in the sushi was a bit underwhelming but the quality was decent. What was brilliant was the spring roll which didn’t have any oil, despite being fried and the potato momo. Service is brilliant, everything is quick, delivered on time and the waiters are very helpful. Go early, waiting time is 20 mins during off season. Very tough to get in with a large group.

Second visit in two days, we had a massive breakfast. The pancake is superlative, the cheese pancake is also good and fresh, very crispy but needs a little more cheese. We had butter potatoes momos again for breakfast and had great omelettes but what was the star of the show was the French toast and garlic butter toast!

Have a chat with the owner Wang, who will teach you much about Tibetian culture and food. He will also explain how many of his dishes are innovations and not exactly authentic Tibetian, cause much of the vegetarian varieties don’t exist!

best place to have any meal anytime all over manali
Manish Prasad
Very rude and borderline racist staff. If you are an Indian (or look so), don't go to this place. You'll be unwelcome. While being seated, they won't even offer you water. The wait staff is unapologetically rude and deserves to be shown the door, if the business is to survive.

Pathetic experience. Restaurant is a service industry and I don't think the staff here gets this. Not for domestic tourists atleast.

The food was ok but the momo didn't come with a chutney so I'll let you decide on how particular you are.
Dilpreet Grover
I dont know if it was the owner or the manager, he was very rude. Never have been humiliated like this in a restaurant ever, all that i wanted was to sit for a couple of mins after ordering for take away, on the table marked reserved, the person snapped like i took a piece of his body. The table was vacant at that time, and after travelling i just wanted to sit, but! The way he spoke in the front of the other guests was so insulting, seemingly racist as if he did not want to see me in his place. I had paid for my food and left without even collecting it. while the entire experience in Manali with people was so pleasant and warm.
Jaideep Jain
One of the most happening place in Mall Road, serves Asian food. Always crowded.
We ordered veg sushi and veg momo.
Both were expensive and non tasty.

Yes. Not Good.
I dont know what the hell the crowd was for.

CHOPSTICKS

Located in the middle of the Mall Road at Manali, this place was suggested to us for Paneer momos and some good Chinese food, by the driver who drove us to Rohtang Pass.. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were welcomed by the aroma of soya sauce and vinegar in the air.. I even loved the chandelier here 😍

Paneer momos were not that great but the Chilli Mushrooms and Veg Schezwan Noodles were Lip smacking.. We had to catch the bus same day, so we got some food parceled from here and the staff at the restaurant packed it so nicely that it didn't become saugy at all.. #chinese
#chinesefood
#paneermomos
#chillimushrooms #schezwannoodles #manalilocal #manalidiaries #manali #foodblogfeed #foodbloggers #foodblogger #girlblogger #bloggergirl #southdelhiblogger #delhigirlblogger #delhifoodbloggers #lifegoals #afightwithdiet #staywithme👩‍👧

The portion are huge , some dish can be enough for 2 if you travel on budget. It was tasty , good chinese food as expected. All kinds of price.

A nice place to have lunch in Manali. It is right opposite to the bus stand so visitors can easily find it. The quantity is huge and so much that I couldn't finish it alone.

I hope they stop using plastic straws.

Went to this place for trying something new. Place is good, ambience and interiors are great. A lot of people line up for a place at the restaurant. Small cost place. We ordered the Chicken Gyathuk and Grilled Fish, Chips and Salad. Chicken Ghathuk was good, broth was awesome. Fish preparation was good but taste was not so great. Felt some uneasiness. Had a bottle of locally made Strawberry wine and also packed one bottle to carry. Then asked the owner if it will be cheaper if I took it from outside, owner obliged and cancelled the extra bottle. Then walked over 1.5km to my hotel with my wife. Vommitted all the food in 4-5 times visit to the washroom throughout the night. And my wife vommitted also in the morning. Seemed to be something in the food, can't confirm anything. No idea what went wrong. Can't give more than 2 stars.
Ajinkya Pathrudkar
Cool Atmosphere, music, serving speed and food taste.
Reasonable rates in manali mall road area.
Quality and quantity is appreciated.
Tibetan music at night will surly make you feel calm and cool.
Omar
Food was bland. We took noodles and soup. I got sick directly after my dinner. Hopefully my friend I didn't share the food that day and she didn't get anything. Staff was polite

I visited this place for the first time a few years ago and my experience was amazing. Even after 2 years, nothing has changed.

We ordered Rice Gyathuk and Normal Gyathuk. This tibetan style noodles was delicious. As soon as we finished half of it, we ordered Mutton Steam momos and the staff suggested us to dip the momos in the soup for some time before eating. We never had such an amazing experience before neither with Thupka nor Momos.
Shraddha Khandve
This is a authentic tibetian place . What we ordered was just not good for our taste. Ambience is nice . May be other dishes might be good too. So please confirm ur food type before u order

After reading numerous good reviews we decided to have lunch at the Chopsticks restaurant. It doesn't look so inviting upfront but the interiors are like that of a Japenese/Tibetan place, small but a nice place. We had Sukiyaki and Yaki Goza, and they are delicious. The spicy red sauce is definitely worth a try, especially with dimsums but it will set your mouth on fire.
Manjiri Chitnis
Had been planning to visit this place from the day we planned our manali vacation but have to say this place is highly OVERRATED. As you can see from the pics, the Machow Soup was topped with Shev (thicker version) instead of fried noodles and the taste was bland. Momos was the most recommended dish & so we ordered the same but we were disappointed by again bland chicken & half cooked onion inside momo. The interiors were well decorated but absolutely no efforts towards presentation of a dish.
Bhaiya_aur_teekha
Had a dinner with my family few days back on manali visit. One of my friend asked me to try food here. we had honey chilli potato, Veg cheese dimsum & Veg chowmien.
Chilli potato were too sweet, dimsum was good but the noodles were the perfect. that was the best dish i had that day.
Do try here when you visit manali.
Sulagna
The food quality was really good and truly if you wanna try something authentic then this is the place. This is a must try restaurant of Manali right at the heart of Mall Road . After a long shopping at Mall Road it’s the best place to have dinner or lunch
The Coffee Addict
A nice and busy little place. Cannot get over their exceptional Chinese lamps yet.
Ordered a beer, Apple cider, mutton Shapta dry, chicken momos and custard with fruits.
The beer was the regular tuborg and Apple cider was good too.
They only serve the 650ml ones though! In fact we were looking for a glass each.
The mutton Shapta was excellent. Tasty well marinated meat with capsicum and onions with chilli. A nice chops like serving.

Chicken momos had a doughy thick texture with the filling tasting like a thawed mixture after freezing for sometime. Wasn't as I expected and the bland taste was a let down.
Custard was warm and nice.
Service is good. At 1200 rupees it'd reasonable if the momos were good.
Surprisingly I had to request for a Gst bill! Else handwritten minus GST!!!

Anamika Pandey
I had ordered the wonton pepper soup and mashed potato chilli balls , the quantity was huge.
Nice ambience, but food was not up to the expectations but still I had a nice overall experience.
Vijay Mothukuri
The best place to have the best food in town. Right from the menu to the ambience, I suggest pls prefer to go upstairs as downstairs is always crowded. I've tried their momos , fried rice non veg. Good in taste and value for money. I wanted to try other items in their menu but was already full. Preferably try their steamed momos which taste the best. Without second thought I'm going to visit again and taste more dishes there.

A strick NO for vegetarians.
Worst place I have ever visited.

We tried lot of veg dishes but not able to eat anything.

Veg kothe and veg Momo was yukkkkkk

CHOPSTICKS is at Manali Mall road and this place is quite noticeable.
I had
GRILLED TROUT CHIPS AND SALAD- freshly grilled full trout fish with a portion of fries and coleslaw. Fish was mild yet juicy. Not a fan of seafood yet I quite liked it. Fries were oily. So I guess they should focus a bit on the sides too. Anyway this dish is worth trying.

CANTONESE CHICKEN NOODLES- A very huge portion. Quantity for 2-3 people. Noodles topped with juicy tender boneless chicken and veggies. Again a mild dish, not at all spicy, to be enjoyed when served hot!!

The interiors is good. Dishes are fairly priced, considereing a tourist area. Service is a bit slow though. Otherwise a good place to try Asian, mainly Tibetian food!
Grusha Arora
Always serves the best.My favourite restraunt in manali. As the quality and service are up to the mark.I have been visiting this place from past 10 years and it has consistently been my favourite place in the town.
Must try:
•Chicken monchow soup
•Lemon ice tea
•Lemon mint juice
•Mutton momos
•Chicken momos
•Ting mo
•Non-veg American chopsuey
•Diced chicken chilly sauce
•Crispy chicken chilly
•Szechwan Noddles

Overall ambience is very good. The food quality is good and many improvements can still be done.
Talumin soup is recommened to drink .Avoid there chicken that is in ball shape. It doesnt tastes so good and the odour even is a bit foul. But otherwise the place serves good food . The staff is very good
Pankaja Pawar
Been here quiet a few times and absolutely love it!
Their specialty is the soups like gyathuk and then think which are delicious. Even their starters like momos and spring rolls are good. Slightly on the spicier side but pretty good!
Mridu Basak
Highly overrated, over crowded, long waiting time and just average food. We went there for dinner and ordered veg spring roll, chicken fried rice and chicken manchow soup. The soup was good but rest of the dishes were very oily and average taste.
Anurag Chaudhuri
Again, something with mall roads and small restaurants.. but this one too is congested. But it's a just visit too.
The interior design is very cool and the dark room gives you a nice vibe.
Had plenty of dishes and all of them were delicious. Though the sezwan rice wasn't spicy but rather sweet to my liking.
The service was good.
_foodiesiblings_
The most amazing place to have lip smacking food. The ambience is really cool. The hospitality provided by the staff is really heart warming.
The chilli chicken was too fascinating. The spices were perfectly balanced satisfying the toothsome. The fried rice were cooked properly which I enjoyed alongwith chilli chicken.
The non-veg noodles were just wow. Look at the presentation firstly, it craves you just by seeing the picture itself. The egg was nicely blended in this chicken noodles.
Atharva Dixit
Disappointed with the food at the restaurant, ambience seems promising but the food isn't as good as expected.
The food seems very dry and bland
Sanjana Chavan
Only good ambience doesnt make it a good restraurant !
Me and my friends went there and we were full of dissapointment !
Dont ever have chicken sizzler there !
Aditi Bagul
Not a good experience
It made our Manali experience worst
We ordered diced chicken and drums of heaven which were okay but the worst food was chicken sizzler and prawns fried rice!
It was so bland we were literally eating plain rice with fries and fried chicken chunks not even a spoon of gravy or something !
And then comes the prawn fried rice, it was bland than sizzler we have never ate such type of fired rice literally prawns were boiled and plain rice ! Who does this ?!
Plus the staff was rude on that, they had this self service system which was acceptable but if someone is asking to serve this is not a response which a customer expects in any restro !
Overall a bad experience and worthless food !
BINAL PANCHAL
Experience was not good. We ordered iced tea which tasted like nimbu paani and strawberry milkshake which was only water. Had to rely on coke later. Food was bland. Sizzlers were dry.
Anasuya Chanda
Lovely food, super cozy ambience, great quantity, good & fast service - extremely value for money!
The surprise element for such a small cozy place, is the excellent menu of wine and prosecco!
And the location is great as well as it’s just 50m walk from the main Manali market/mall.
A place for both friends and family! :)
Vasudev.jagarlamudi
I only went there since it was rated 4/5 on Zomato. Everything we got that night was quite bad; the egg fried rice, chicken in garlic sauce and drums of heaven. I understand that everyone has a bad day once in a while, but what got to me was the callousness of the waiter and the owner when we gave them feedback.

They gave us the impression that they didn't quite care, since it was a tourist town. I'm sure it's not so bad every night or they probably wouldn't be rated so highly in the first place.

In hindsight, I would have spoken to the owner or a different waiter before placing the order.
Nikita
Went there for dinner after a wonderful day of activities in Manali. Loved the food. We had the chicken noodle soup, chicken momos, trout and chips and fried rice. Loved everything! Easy on the pocket, beautifully cooked and presented, nice staff. Will definitely recommend this place for a meal!

Chopsticks is a very famous little restaurant that's located on the bustling mall road of manali. Its famous for its authentic Chinese, Tibetan and Japanese cuisine. The quantity served is more for 3 people and the taste is beyond amazing. We decided to try some Chinese food and heres a detailed description of the different foods .

1. Chicken steamed momos - 10 pieces of chicken steamed momos served with red chili chutney was just mouth melting. The momos were steamed to perfection and the quantity was fulfilling for 2 people. The momos were less spicy and subtle.

2. Schezwan fried chicken - Deep fried chciken in schezwan sauce and served with spring onions. The portion was huge and the chicken was spicy. A good option to enjoy in the cold weather of manali.

3. Chopstick special chicken chowmein - Noodles tossed with stir fried veggies mixed with chicken and garnished with fried eggs. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the taste was different with the eggs added on top of it.

It was a delicious affair at this famous restaurant and a must visit when in mall road.
Shivam Bhagwani
They serve best Chinese in whole Manali. I would like to suggest Pancakes that are good over here and along with that, in such cool weather of Manali, iced tea that they make is really top up to fun.
Navit Manaktala
This iconic restaurant has been a family tradition for over 31 years! The experience is still as amazing as it was 3 decades ago!

The ambience is bright and warm, the service is helpful and prompt and the food is fresh and delicious! We stick to Chinese and Tibetan cuisine. Their Thenthuk and Gyathuk are like a complete meal in a bowl. The momos and gyathuks are incredibly succulent. There's no dish on the menu that would disappoint you and the servers are usually able to suggest dishes most suitable to your requirements!

The Chopsticks special fried rice deserves a special mention!
Ila Deep
Decent food and great value for money. Loved their decor, it gave the place a lot of character. I'd come back here for sure if I were really hungry and wanted a full meal.
Sumantra Dasgupta
This is undoubtedly the best restaurant on the Mall in Manali. Nice decor, cosy ambience, comfortable seats and service full of warmth. Coming to the food, it’s just wonderful! Try out anything you want. Right from
the Geythuks, to the Mutton Momos, Fried Rice, Appetizers, everything is too good. & beware of the quantity. It’s too much! Ask for the recommended portion before ordering. Highly recommended!

Heard a lot about Chopsticks restaurant from many people and after reading the reviews we decided to visit this place in Manali. It was a good decision because food was so yum that we went there twice. It’s a small and cozy place with nice decor. We ordered fish and chips, tom yum soup, chicken garlic noodles, chicken sizzler and ice cream. Food was amazing and delicious at a good price. Quantity was more than sufficient for two of us. We tried apple cider which was more like a mocktail and we liked it. Everything was excellent be it food, price, service or ambience. I will definitely recommend Chopsticks to everyone. Keep up the good work guys!!!
Shweta Mulwani
Ambience, staff and food was great specially KOTHEY. This small place is very good in terms of money as well, plus they serve alcohol which is like cherry on the cake.
When in Manali, visit Chopsticks, one won't regret, Simply!
Shruti Tripathi
In the chilly weather of Manali, this one located at the prime location of Mall Road gives a clear respite to the numbing cold. It is a haven for indo-Chinese fanatic & Japanese food. It’s a must visit place if you’re a non vegetarian.
Ambience: super cozy. & really cute. It’s small yet spacey. 3.9/5
Food: Though the monchow soup was really appealing hot and sour couldn’t do it’s regular magic. Everything has its unique taste & is worth trying. 3.5/5
Staff: informed and friendly. 4/5
Value for money: total pocket friendly.
Nishant Choudhary
Location and ambience is good but very bad staff behavior. I came out without ordering anything. The staff behaved as if they were doing favour serving the food
Kamal
A good place to have quality food and beer in the chilly weather in the market of Manali.
Appetizers, Japanese dishes and fried rice are a must try here
Arka Bhowmik
The best food you can have at the best price. We ordered chicken sushi, chicken thentuk ( thupka with flat noodles) and chicken fried rice fot 2 people. Quantity is good. I have never tasted such good sushi at this price! Also would recommend to try out thentuk.
Prabhat Mihir
Everything's good apart from Sushi(If not purely into Japanese).
Give a try to Momos.
I guess why this restaurant doesn't serve some Korean Beverages like Soju.
Kavya Choudhary
Best best best restaurant if you are in Manali.
They server chinese, Tibetan food.
Must go for their momos and soup
Ordered veg sweet corn soup with veg cheese momos .
Love their service
5/5

Nice food quality. Moderate price. Nice ambience as well. I have ordered Chicken Rice noodles, Schezwan chicken and hot and sour soup. This place has beer as well..
Ernest Dsouza
We visited this place for lunch today. We ordered the Gyatukh and fried Chicken Momo's. The Gyatukh was pretty average. It had noodles, chicken pieces and veggies. It stock was not that great. The chicken Momo's was awesome but should come with a warning about the sauce. It was very fiery. We ordered the Apple beer it was more like fruit Beer with a hint of alcohol.
Big Time Foodie
I live for momos.. I make sure I taste momos whenever I visit a new place! veg kothey were absolutely delicious..I also tried fried chicken momos, but would love to eat steam ones next time.. the filling was juicy and flavourful..thenthuk was the best. It was simple yet flavourful and gave me relief in the freezing cold.

Pocket Friendly place for Tibetan, Japanese style Chinese Cuisine.
The quantity and quality of food is really worth every penny.
Food: 4/5
Ambience : 3.5/5
Such a lovely place. Every nook and corner of this place is filled with beautiful things. Very well maintained and we'll behaved staff. The food was good but we totally disliked the Sushi.
TheVegeterian
Great chinese food.
Loved the fried rice, noodles, sandwich and specially their version of mint lemonade ( it was absolutely refreshing !) Although the vegetable dimsums were just alright but it was all value for money.
What can I say, I love most cafes in Manali as they give you a great experience overall :) .

Abhinav Gupta(Getsetfoodies)
hey chinese food lover,
the most famous restaurant on mall road of manali. they have very famous Chinese dishes all cross manali.their speciality are not so expensive but their other food is little bit expensive. we have order steam chicken momos ,fried chicken momos and crispy honey chilly potato. i like chilly potato and steam momos but not fried.they serve potato chip in their chilly potato which make them crispy for the long period of time.as we ask them to pack our food and we had it after 1 hr. till that time their potato's were crispy
Manas Dawar
Worst Chinese food I had ever eaten in my life. Even gali Chinese food is better , best thing about this place was coke don't ever refer this place

Located on Mall Road Manali, this Pan Asian Restaurant is the hot favorite of the Locals and the Tourist alike.

We ordered Tom Yum Soup, Thupka, Pan Fried Noodles, Chopsuey, Chilli Chicken followed by Ice Cream.

All the items had unique taste and were prepared really well. Since cuisine is Authentic Chinese, its quite different from the everyday chinese food joints across India which tend to make most things taste similar and spicy.

Some of the Cons
1) There was a quite a waiting time for the order to be served.
2) A Big No Go place for Pure Vegetarians as Vegetarian Dishes lacked any taste and were totally bland.

Apurva Varute
Location is perfect and lovely themed interiors of restaurant.
Food was okay but really loved the ambience.
I ordered fried trout and hand made veg noodles. Trout was bland really. No taste at all. But fish tasted fresh. Noodles were not hand made for sure.
Abishek Vanam
Soup and starters were good. Noodles didn't taste good. One of the very few places in manali where the food was good for non-vegetarians too.
Tarun Kumar Goel
Chopsticks, Manali serves a good mix of Chinese and Tibetan food, with a few Japanese dishes. The decor is distinctly Tibetan. A must try is the gyakok, a Tibetan hot pot served in a large copper vessel above a burner, into which you dip noodles, bok choy, tofu, vegetables, chicken, and boiled egg.
Shree Mukherjee
Ambiance is too good. Food quality is unique. If you ever visit Manali & you are a food lover, you must try here atleast once. Pocket friendly & awesome experience will never let you down!!❤️❤️

This place is located at mall road. It is the most common place to have chinese food at mall road. The chicken momos are amazing, chilli chicken is good. The veg wanton soup and noodles were nice. The service is also decent.

The waiters at this place are very rude. I Found a metal piece in my food and waiters were very unhindered and unapologetic about this. Would not recommend.

The food was not just up to the mark.. the momos were just below average and the chicken would stink. I really dont recommend this to anyone..

Located on Mall Road, and not difficult to find. The ambiance has a Tibetan feel with (what I believe was) Chinese songs running in the background. The service was simple but reasonable.

The food was great tasting. Food ordered (photo attached) was Tuna Sushi, Mutton Shapta (semi-gravy), Ting Mo (steamed bread), Fing Chowmein rice noodles (mutton). The rice noodles was the best. The steam bread was something new and one can be shared with 2 persons when ordering multiple dishes as it tends to fill you up.

All in all, ambiance good, service ok and taste good for the price and quantity. Will definitely visit again.

They will have their own definition of cheese. As per them people should ask for ingredients before placing any order. Shitty service. Shitty waiters. Shitty place. Shitty food.

A popular as well as a unique restaurant, Chopsticks is quite good among its counterparts there.
The cuisine is Japanese, Chinese and Tibetan but what matters is the taste and ambiance and surely this one is worth it.
The staff is friendly and service is a bit slower than major restaurants I've visited.
The bonus is the music they play that's quite good.
In here the food I liked the most were:
Chicken Chilly: Spices and taste meant quality, was worth the wait.
Chicken Burger: This one is sure to get your taste buds rolling, the burger with the juicy and tender patty with hot fries is classic.

Wanton Soup: Must must try- Well soups are not my kind of thing but this one's perfect.
Chicken Momos steamed are good while Chicken dimsum is another great option.Tibetan dishes are above average.
All in all worth your bucks as it's a package of quality food, nice music, pleasant ambiance, and prices are pocket-friendly.

The perfect Pan-Asian joint right in the middle of the Mall road. Don't forget to give their Sushis and their Chowmiens a try. !
Thefoodfella rating : 4.2/5
The service gets extremely slow, the waiters become inattentive, and you have to wait a long time before you can get a table, yet, despite everything, I am giving it a 5/5 because their amazing food makes up for all of that.
We had returned from a long walk in Van Vihar, and were terribly hungry. Our order of Veg Noodle Soup, Veg Wanton Soup and Veg Chopsticks took a long time to arrive, but it was so good that we forgot all about our aching legs. The quantities of the dishes were enough to suffice the three of us. The Wanton Soup was particularly good - big, juicy wantons and lots of good veggies - no trace of oil - just the kind of thing I wanted at that time. The American Chopsuey, we realised, wasn't our thing - too sweet and tangy. We could not finish it all. But from Chopsticks, started my love affair with Wanton soup. It has become my go-to dish for winters. Hence, the 5 stars.

I will rate this place 4 star for ambience and food and 3 star for service. This is a perfect place for Tibetian cuisine. During my holiday i visited the place twice.
Ambience - pleasant with good music
Food - good quantity and very tasty
Service - could have been a bit better, I asked the waiter to serve a dish which was difficult to serve by myself but the waiter refused saying that it’s self service.
Will visit this place again for the food and ambience. The service can be improved to ensure customers leave with a smile😊

This renowned place right at the beginning of Manali mall road is by no means over-rated. Small but decent with authentic Chinese touch in decor and taste. The chicken in curd bean sauce and cashew nuts turned out to be my favourite. Great in terms of quality and quantity both.
