Long wanted to visit this place and finally could make it. Such a relaxing place and a garden full of beautiful flowers. Our plan was to go to Rohtang pass but we skipped it and had a great day out there. Lovely food and very caring hosts. Wishing it more success.

Fresh ingredients from an on-site garden. Food was perfectly prepared and spiced. Service was top notch, made us feel like family. Try the strawberry and blackberry home made ice cream for dessert with fresh berries.

One of the most beautiful restaurants visited in Manali, a must go for everyone. The food is so fresh and all their drinks etc everything is just really well made. I would def recommend this place to everyone who visits Manali. Service is slow which should be improved..

The atmosphere of the café is perfect. The flower garden is beautiful, the food is very nice too. The sad part is that there were not many hosts at the time we visited and we needed to wait to get help.

Fine dine restaurant . Food 🍱 is really nice . Can try fish here . The best part of fat plate is there jams and pickles , I would recommend plum chtuney and black berry jam , they are must try . Here they sell apricot oil , which is very helpful for dry skin to moisturise rather then any moisturiser in cold temperature. Been here multiple times now and it’s amazing , better then before with lot of modifications of services . 1000% recommend .

Came here to purchase jam and chutney. Taste is very good but service is super snail slow. They are busy doing other work and it's frustrating to wait beyond certain time for staff to pack stuff

Pretty place, loved the jams they have on the store. I ordered butter chicken which comes with a paratha, it was pretty basic. There was some guy eating biryani and he really liked it a lot. It’s a pet friendly place.m, loved seeing them play. I bought a strawberry Jam, it was like 375 INR. There are jams and Pickel which you can try before buying. You should definitely try.

Wow... This place was out of the blue at Manali. Loved the food. Perfect dinner night with your beloved at this place... Looks more Italian, serves almost Indian, Chinese, Italian, blah blah blah. Very homely.

Amazing place nestled in a quiet place. It has a beautiful garden with a plethora of colorful flowers which is a treat to the eyes. I got the shammi kebab which was just superb - soft inside with a right balance of spices. Tried the banana toffee and also purchased a few homemade marmalade and jams which was a cherry on top. Rati aunty makes homemade jams, chutneys and pickles too. The lady has been making these for 35 years and is super sweet and friendly. All in all, can’t go wrong if you visit.

Place was so calm and full of greenery. We loved the food whatever we tried there, it's just they prepare it all fresh so it takes a bit time to get your order but it is a must visit place if you are a food lover. P.S.: Tomato basil soup was so delicious that I can say it was best tomato soup I ever tried.

Do visit @fatplatecafe the next time you are in Manali for lip smacking delicacies crafted by Chef Anubhav! You will be greeted by the warm Rati aunty @ratishomemade who also whips up some yummy artisanal jams & spreads made from the freshest ingredients in the valley! Oh! Did I mention how gorgeous this cafe is? Things I ate were the Caprese Salad, Khao Suey, Methi Malai Paneer, Laccha Paratha. The Sangria suggested by Chef Anubhav was delicious!

It is a nice, quaint little place which is perfect for a quiet, romantic lunch or to just hang out with friends. The food is brilliant. There are a lot of options to try. We had grilled chicken with barbecue sauce and bacon-wrapped chicken steaks. Both were delicious with mushroom and plum sauces adding depth to the meat. If you are visiting though, make sure you try the ice-creams. They really mean it when they say the flavour is mango or toffee or anything really. Also, it is probably the only place I've visited in a long time that had all the beers mentioned on the menu.

A great place for fine dining. The food was great. You can enjoy your meal amidst a great view in the garden in the mountains, away from the city noise. Don't forget to check out the homemade jams and pickles collection and meet the lovely hosts.

Delicious Food! We went in a group and ordered literally ninety percent of the items on the menu. I was so lucky to try all of them and there was not even one thing that didn't live upto my expectations. Great place for Lunch or Brunch. The place had indoor and outdoor seating, do prefer to sit outdoors. They also sell fresh & home-made Jams, Marmalades and Pickles that one should definitely carry for their homes. The owners were nice and humble. The place really reflexts their personalities. Kudos to them for running such a beautiful establishment.

Amazed to discover a top European style restaurant with a wonderful ambience, imaginative food and a huge add on of the chef's mother Rati's super homemade jams, chutneys, pahadi ghee and apricot seed oil. The interiors were modern and elegantly cheerful and outdoor seating was made heavenly due to profusion of flowers and plants. The Far Plate would not be out of place in any of the charming hill towns in France or Austria!

What a tiny little humble place. I had bookmarked this place a long time ago and I'm super happy that I finally got to visit the place. The interiors, the view, the food, and the service, EXCELLENT. If I could, I would literally stay here just to see this place change with the weather. I hope I can see this place in full bloom someday in the spring season. Special mention for Pawan, his energy and enthusiasm is everything. The guy was super humble and talented.

Quite a famous cafe in & around Manali. Visited with high expectations for an afternoon lunch. The ambience is good (4/5), was seated in the garden area which was maintained very well. Beautiful flowers all around. The food was a slightly below expectations (3/5) when considering the price being charged. The chicken in both main courses dishes was a bit dry and chewy. Bacon in one them was just tough. Their sauces saved them though. Potato wedges were nice, served with a dip. Dessert (Banana Toffee) was barely above average. Service was fast and efficient (5/5) Overall 4/5, some of the cafes in old Manali serve better food so some scope for improvement.
