Review People - Manali

I'd been there many times I had a great breakfast and lunch dinner very excellent food and they have trout fish one of the best dishes I had prawns butter and garlic it was amazing really I've been enjoyed there people of this cafe very friendly amazing river view if you visit manali most visit people art cafe highly recommended

Manali is a great hill station in himachal with some nicest views of mountains valley rivers. But the best part i found was food. So i came accross this awesome cafe named People art cafe. The place is located in old manali. Its a 5-7 min walk from the bridge. The owner is an retired army man who runs the place along with his wife. They have a super friendly nature and also the staff is amazing and helps with what dishes to have.The cafe has been there from last 22 years. It was the third restaurant opened in old Manali in 1997. As we reached the cafe around 10 in morning so it was hardly open and wooo we were at the doorstep. I had the best breakfast i could do in Manali the day i came in the old town of Manali. I started with breakfast from different varities. So it was Canadian and Arabian meals coming first. Both the meals were amazing and healthy. Then came in Hangover which is a watermelon shake. It was the best of all the drinks i had. The owner offered me one and we ended having 3 of them. It was super delicious. Next what came was Kapoa Maki sushi was also nice. Then was the most amazing dish offered to us The Perpricino pizza. I was totally amazed by the taste and most importantly the shape. It came in a triangle rather than the common round one. This was all the food items. Now lets come to drinks, Firstly the hot chocolate. It was awesome and amazing. I am a coffee lover so we ordered Cappuccino and Americano shots. Both came in 30ml glass and were nice. So thats it from one of the most amazing cafes in Manali. Whenever you are in Manali try to visit this amazing cafe and give the owner Mr Chandan and his beautiful wife to serve you. Cheers to them to offer us such nice food and ambience. Cheers...

Loud music/ atmosphere, but delicious food. I had dinner and breakfast there and was very impressed and satisfied with my meal:) I’m particular, I recommend the Arabian breakfast - quite a generous portion and very tasty indeed. Hope you enjoy!

People art cafe is back again in old Manali very happy to see again , dele food and staff are very friendly. Best place to chill . Good vibes one of the best cafe .

It was nice place to cheer with new people and smoke .. and play snooker with them ! And food was really good and rates wer decent enough !

This is a very great place ! Good food good service and good music . U should visit here at least one time when u come to manali .

We happened to come across this cafe while roaming in old manali streets. Initially it wasnt too full, was quiet. We were a group of 13 people. When we visited after 730, this place transformed to the best place i have seen. It was happening with live music. Warm candle lit tables in the cold setup of manali was like an icing on the cake. The singer who performed sang amazing songs. He even offered others to perform or sing. All througj the night we kept singing and dancing. We intended to stay at this restaurant for 1 hour but ended up staying till late night and were not ready to leave. The food is amazing, service is great, everyone is so nice and hospitable. On the last leg of our journey, this was the best night we had in old manali in this cafe. We will never forget this cafe, it has given us the best memories to cherish. Highly recommended if ur in old manali. Love it! Wana go back soon.

This place literally has the best food in old manali .... I was in manali for 2 weeks and literally tried every dish on the menu. They can cook ! The owner daphne is a cool host.. always accommodating and ever so gracious . Loved the live jam nights at people and the fact that u can spend hours chilling listing to relaxing music while sipping on chain or their amazing milkshakes or coffee while watching the clouds go by. 5 star food 5 star service and down to earth prices always with a smile !

Great music, the open space with dim lights & good food - I couldn't have asked for more � And our every night attendance to the cafe during our stay proves it � Hoping to make it again with my girl gang sooner!

Loved the Israeli dish and the Keema paratha.Also had chocolate ball and honey cake.The staff was extremely courteous and friendly.

Nice place to sit and relax ......with beers and pizza .....must visit if go to old manali

People cafes chicken burger and chicken sizzler - to die for! And ill never forget the breakfasts too, while staring at the amazing view from the open air area. Service is good, makes you feel you are well taken cared of. I only ate at People’s cafe in my 2 weeks stay in manali. Those days were the best. Thanks People cafe and to the sweet owner Daphne D’ Souza, looking forward to come back again soon!

I see food quality has been degraded. My last visit was awesome. Food quality was good earlier. We ordered chilly chicken, it was just chicken, onion, capsicum and lots of tomato sauce. I felt like it was dipped in tomato sauce and served.
