Review Sizzler's Ranch - Mangalore

Recently visited Sizzler Ranch with my family and were warmly greeted by an elderly gentleman who also waited our table. We all love sizzler’s and the moment we sat at the table we had no patience and went on and ordered the following items, a chicken shaslik sizzler, a sizzling chicken with mushroom sauce, a Schezwan mix grill sea food sizzler which contained some squid, prawns and fish, and to cool all this sizzling food we ordered some Lemon iced tea along with fresh lime soda and at last for dessert we had some sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream. All in all it was a great dining experience with tasty food, great service and value for money…

The best continental sizzler you will find here. There are wide varieties you can choose from. Few of must try dishes are chicken lollipop, fish chilly and chicken sizzler in oyster sauce. And best thing is the sizzlers can be customized based on your liking.

Sizzler ranch was a perfect place to have best sizzlers which we found quite tempting. Ordered for 2 sizzlers : 1) Seafood sizzler filled with prawns, fish, vegetables, rice, french fries with good choice of sauces served hot. 2) Lamb sizzler which was good with lamb pieces, vegetables, rice and french fries with sauces. Loved both the sizzlers hot and very satisfying alongwith chilled pepsi and sprite. Good ambience and neat environment, would definitely visit again 😀

The best place to hangout with your friends , family or your partner . I absolutely love the ambience , food and the staff over there . My favourites which I always order is fish fingers and peach ice tea . I just love their peach ice tea very much . Really very refreshing . One more thing , they say chicken shashlik is the most spiciest , but it really wasn’t spicy at all .

Great food as always. The sizzlers here are top notch and the food is worth the money. This place is good for small groups. Tried their chicken shashlik, italian sizzlers and chicken fiery wings all were great in taste.

An iconic sizzler restaurant in Mangalore that serves a variety of yummy sizzlers and other continental fare. I've been going here for over a decade, and the taste, quantity, and quality remains unchanged. It's not very expensive, and there are enough number of vegetarian, chicken, meat, and seafood options. However, the seating space is a bit limited for peak hours. They have a second outlet in Balmatta. Parking one the street outside is limited.

While the service is decent, it's not exceptional. Despite the potential wait, a visit to Sizzler Ranch is undoubtedly worth it for a flavorful sizzler feast in a well-maintained setting.

I am regular customer here, i dine and order from here most of the time, sizzlers are best when eaten there itself. One sizzler itself is filling. Definitely try this place

Customer service is of equal importance just like taste of food and ambience. Please train your staff to be professionals. First impression I got when I entered was the staff talking to us as if we had come to savor free food.

Cozy place with wide range of delicious Sizzlers. Quantity is enough for 2 moderate eaters. Lamb and Chicken sizzlers are topnotch. Mushroom and jalapeño cheese balls are lip-smacking too. Parking is available roadside and so is alfresco dining.

Sizzler's Ranch is a small little place situated near Lalbagh which serves very good sizzlers for a very affordable price. I have been regular to this place and the taste n quality for food still being good as it used to be from the start. <br/><br/>The only thing which I feel they need to improve upon is to train their Managers and waiters to be much more professional. I saw the manager being rude with other customers and asking them to finish off thier food so that he could ask the new customers to take the place. This is being highly unprofessional and the manegment has not done anything for this which has been a issue with this place for a very long time.<br/><br/>Thats the reason why i have given only 3Stars (deducted 2* for them being unprofessional)or else it would have been a 5star.

This is the the place where you can get the cheapest sizler in the city. Their Chicken manchow soup is one of the best I had in Mangalore. There's always rush at this place so be there at least 30min early.

Great service.while the prices may be a bit on the steeper side its worth it for the quality and taste. The pasta here will always remain a favourite.burger is pretty good.

The place is small and cute. We had lunch over there. Ordered veg sizzler with mushroom and noodles and sizzling brownie with vanilla. The quantity is good. I loved their smokey flavor of mushroom, noodles were evenly cooked. The barbeque sauce was very good.<br/><br/>The only advice I want to give is that the staff should allow the customers to settle down for sometime. And the way they are serving the food was also little disappointment. We came there to enjoy the food so please let us enjoy that.

A good place to visit for sizzlers. Cheese and corn balls were excellent while the grilled vegetables and paneer was so-so. Would recommend the BBQ cottage cheese and veg sizzler with mushroom and cheese. I think one sizzler would be enough for one person so buy accordingly. Will recommend to skip the desserts however.

Extremely unprofessional staff. Waiters were extremely rude and asked us to leave soon while dining as they had “no space” for other customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place because of the attitude of the staff.

Rude waiters, they just want you out of the restaurant, sizzler was served without clearing the table, had to wait and request for plates.. pathetic service, food was good!!

The manager of this place is too rude. They just wait for you to go from there. But food is yummy. Chicken schezwan sizzler is good and chicken with garlic sauce is too yummy.

My Favourite Restaurant in Mangalore, hase one of the finest sizzler dishes all the dishes over here are my favourite. if you are visiting this place for the first time then i recommend you to go with bounty in the basket and don't forget to ask for the main ingredient the garlic sauce.

I have been a regular here for past 9 years. However I will not be giving them my service again. The waiters were very unfriendly and showed a lot of attitude. One of them brought us the bill before we even finished eating as if in a hurry to kick us out. On top of that another waiter tried to take my wife’s drink while she was still sipping it! I expected much better from this place and that too I am a regular customer. Stick to Kobe Sizzlers!

I have been a long standing fan of this restaurant now, but this time I came across poor meal prep and even poorer attitude towards handling complaints when I pointed out that there were worms in my food. Unluckily I was out there to eat with my toddler and the manager managed to just say that worms are always found in cruciferous vegetables. What he should have done was assured me that they would ensure better meal prep standards and no lame things like 'if you want I can replace it'. Replacement should be done without the customer asking for it and there should always be an apology for the lapse in hygiene. But instead the manager was out to justify that worms exist all around. More than worms in food, it was the attitude regarding food safety that bothered me. This restaurant is definitely off my list.

I love this place very much... but 4 star because the paneer that you use in your dishes are spoilt and tastes sour i have told the waiters but they spoke impolitely to me and not just 1s it happned couple of times both times panner gone wrong...<br/><br/>I think it should be taken care of...

It's a small place and is crowded most of the times. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Menu offers a wide range of sizzlers and starters to choose from. The jalapeno cheese balls are just oozingly yum. Deserts are limited but good. Must eat at ranch if you are in mangalore

There are only few places which I would rate a 5/5 and this surely is a place. The ambience and the robust Sizzlers make your mouth melt and surely satisfies the hunger. Let me warn you the quantity of these Sizzlers here is more than that of other ventures offering the same. Also I would say the Sizzlers are truly value for money. The staff are really generous and make you feel comfortable. Would visit this place when I'm back to Mangalore.

This is a very nice place for a moderate price , food is really worth the amount and one of the best is sizzlers ranch special(chicken) , but the service of the old restraunt is poor but the new restaurant is really good

Had been to this place a few months ago. I had heard some positive feedback from friends, but it turned out to be completely opposite to the expectation. <br/>Service was not at all good. Supervisor at this place lacked professional manners. <br/>Food was not worth the price. I had to struggle to finish my one plate of food. <br/>Overall, i would just say i didn't have a good time here.

Heard a lot from friends.finally i got to visit this place and im so glad!Even though the inside is cramped and slightly smoky,the ambience is quite good on the outside.They provide a variety of both non-veg and veg sizzlers.We had ordered Sizzling chicken qith sauce amd rice,Spicy mix veg shashlik and Bbq chicken sizzler along with chicken fried rice and veg schezwan rice.the bbq sizzler was jst ok but others were quite good.The food is worth the money!

Very nice restaurant with very good service. The sizzlers and cheese balls are superb. They even have a special sizzler for children called bounty in the basket which is very nice. All the best for your future! ☺

I'm just a big fan of the French Fries here and the Mocktails. Quantity is worth the value. A place where everyone should visit just to see the offerings in sizzlers. Not something that gives you a wow statement but good enough to have that fine dining with your friends or family.

Definitely an all time favourite place for Sizzler lovers. I love this place. Visit almost every week. Chicken Satellite, chicken with Oyster sauce are my favourite. Love the butter garlic fried prawns and chicken and chips too. Their garlic sauce is awesome.

This place is known for their sizzlers and they are good. Additionally, the staff is attentive and service is good. The interior is cramped. There is not much space and i can understand the wait other foodies have described here due to that when they receive a larger footfall. The music was on a louder side when we visited, which i felt was a bit annoying when you want to have a conversation over the table. But the thing I liked about this place is the outside sitting area. It is ideal if the weather permits.

Place is small but cozy ambience is good from outside. Service is polite. I heard it's good place to have sizzlers. And we ordered one of the expectingly best sizzler that was the 'sizzler ranch special' but I was wrong totally wrong what it had was a big lump of flesh which was almost burnt and so hard to break, inside of which it has sausage pieces mixed with white sauce only thing which was good. Other than that big lump there was varieties of veggies which maximum had beans ,carrot ,mashroom, tomatoes and green peas in them they hardly had some taste. I had some good vibes about sizzler which I last had (Kobe) now I would run away even thinking about sizzler bad experience.

Visited this place but had to wait for a table for around 25 minutes. Our order was placed during our waiting time but was served bit late even after getting the table. <br/>Mind you that all the seatings where we sat were broken and that has to be fixed.<br/>.<br/>So we ordered for Chicken Sizzler with Schezwan rice, Rack of Lamb and Prawns with Pepper sauce.<br/>Good quantity and was happy with the taste but could easily make out that some of the fries were old and re-fried. The beverages that we ordered came very late too. Could understand the delay in food and drinks because of lot of crowd.<br/>Ended our meal with sizzling brownie. The brownies were hard and cold deep within and that was the let down. <br/>Overall good place and will definitely visit again. But should fix the above problems.

Love this place for their amazing sizzlers. Great food, good price & generous portions.<br/>Tried the Chicken Sizzler with szechwan sauce, Veg Sizzler with szechwan sauce, Chicken and Mushroom Sizzler with pepper sauce. All the sizzlers were too good, I usually prefer szechwan sauce only but the pepper sauce was really good as well. Finally for dessert ordered the Sizzling brownie which was delicious.

Good cozy place for Sizzlers. They just need to include spaghetti and pastas in their menu. The food was tasty and quantity was good for the sizzler but I felt the quantity for noodles needs to improve a little. Otherwise it's a good place to visit.

Before starting the review, I'd suggest you to reserve yourself a table before you go here, Cuz this place gets crowded in no time and any day of the week, afternoon or evening. <br/>Talking about the service, I think it's quite lame.<br/> The waiters quickly come to our table to take our plates back as soon as we finish our meal or even if there's a little food left to be eaten; like literally after a second or 2 after you keep your fork down.<br/> Earlier the service was quite good and they would even help us out with the menu and now, it's a little disappointing. <br/> Coming to the menu, we order garlic chicken for starters and it was harder than it should have been and the dip was not that great. <br/>And then we ordered 3 Sizzlers and I ordered the ranch special chicken (after reading the reviews in the Zomato). Tbh, nothing was special about it. The only thing I loved in the sizzler were the fries and the outer layer of the big chicken ball(not the cheese and sausage stuffed inside ) <br/>the mixed sea food sizzler had better flavors though. Total value for money. It's a quaint corner for a easy going, unpretentious meal with family. Went there this Sunday with my husband and daughter. We ordered ginger ale which was good, squid chilli which was also good, but a tad salty. The drinks and starters was followed by chicken shaslik sizzler with garlic sauce and kids special sizzler with noodles and white sauce. We had a good time at this place.<br/><br/>Something that is worthy of special mention was the service. The captains were so attentive and checked if we wanted some extra sauce as our sizzler looked a little dry. I had a couple of friends traveling from Goa and I my self also drove to Mangalore the same day. So after that long and tiring 400Km drive couldn't think of any other place to to have a feast. I have been visiting Sizzler Ranch for the past 10 years now and I have to say nothing has changed. The sizzlers and service still remind me of the first time I tried this place to celebrate my sisters birthday. ☺️ So I had to tell everyone about my experience this time which was like any other time. You never get disappointed! <br/>We had a Mixed Meat Grill, the BBQ chicken and the Lamb ranch special. Totally loved every bit of that sizzler. Totally recommend this place as it doesn't set you back by much. Cheers!!!

Sizzler ranch is THE place for sizzlers . Nice yum food and good generous portions. Place is nice and cozy, I enjoy the seating outside . Coz too many sizzlers can suffocate you inside . 😬<br/>Thumbs up 👍🏼

No parking space else everything is perfect. Nice ambience.. There are quite a wide variety of sizzlers, especially for non-vegetarian lovers. Paneer skewers is too good😍 spicy mix veg shashlik, chicken satellite, chicken with oyster sauce are worth trying. Prices are damn reasonable and the quantity is enough to make you skip dinner 😂

Me and a friend went out for a lunch date, and turns out one of our orders, was not even punched. Asking about the details of the order, the steward answers that the order was probably given to another table. I questioned the steward that if order was given to the wrong table, then why isn't it in the bill? He answers- we got it out of the bill, it's good that we got it off the bill. My point is if there is a delay in order or any other kot misplacement, just let the guest know that there will be a slight delay in the order. We obviously won't mind. But imagine if there is no food delivered n u wait for a really long time. Please make sure this doesn't happen again team sizzler ranch.

Sizzler Ranch , the first and the only place I would suggest you to have sizzler in Mangalore. The sizzlers are best suited to the palates with big appetites. My regular orders are ranch special chicken or Kentucky chicken. The Chicken​ wings are worth the order. <br/>For my vegetarian friends, veg satellite and veg exocita are good orders. <br/><br/>A small yet well maintained place. There is outdoor seating too, which would be ideal in the evening hours. You will be pleased to find the security person helping you with​ the parking and escorting to the restaurant.

Superb food and good quantity.Orders take a wee bit of time but it's definitely worth it.Quantity of food served is excellent and overall a wonderful experience😃😃😃

Sizzlers Ranch is known to have the best sizzlers in mangalore. Visited this restaurant only because of this. Parking is a major issue as this restaurant is on a inner road and its quite narrow hence try to park on the main road and then walk down the road or take a auto. The sizzlers are great and the ambience is good too. They also have an outdoor seating. The restaurant is quite crowded on weekends so be prepared to wait for your turn.

Great..food was great and great place..but waiters were taking our plates very fast..they didn't let us finish..other than that everything was perfect

One of if not the the best place to get sizzlers in Mangalore! Have been there so many times and have not been disappointed even once! They have a wide variety of sizzlers from chicken to seafood. And after that the sizzling brownie is a must have! I think the only problem is that it's a small place which means it gets full quite fast and then you have to wait for a table.

The only problem with this restaurant is that it's always full, so you better make a reservation well in advance or you will have to wait for nearly 30 to 40 minutes. But over all the place is well matained and the food is irresistible.

For seafood lovers, they have a sizzler with fish, prawns ans squid in oyster sauce which is very yummy. Also, try the butter garlic squid, it has a very good creamy texture. The place is also a little easy on your pockets compared to other sizzler places. The portions are quite large, you wouldn't be left disappointed with the quantity for the price you pay.<br/><br/>The service was prompt and the waiting time wasn't much. Seating is limited, you might have to wait to get seats. The ambiance is good, the interiors have a rustic feel (They have a poster of Bob Marley!). This place leaves you wanting to come back again.

Had been here with a friend while at Mangalore. Known to be the most popular and one of the best places for sizzlers, this place is located at a quiet residential surrounding . Since the place isn't very roomy, it's usually filled. The sizzlers were good. <br/><br/>There's something about this place that you would love and would leave you wanting to go back.
