Review Crave - Mangalore

This is a really good spot if you are looking for desserts and pastries. Not normally very crowded. It has an ambiance of its own. Never miss trying their Nutella Shake which is very soothing. Their chocolate filled caramel donuts are also a must try but it gets sold out really quick. Their Death by chocolate is not bad but some of their pastries are really good. They also have savoury items like Pan Pizza, Burgers which are also good to try.

Yummy is the word. Just baked, loved the aroma. For the first time I could make out it was an egg cake. This was the first time, I tried a Red velvet and boy, I am not disappointed. Thank you Crave for making my brother's birthday special. The other thing was the doughnuts. They had just come out of the pantry and the whole bakery was smelling heavenly. I ordered chocolate caramel. It was so delicious and mouth melting. Forgot to click pics, it was over in no time 😀 I would definitely recommend both of these items.

The best place for cheesecakes and other cakes in Mangalore. My most favourite cake is the blueberry cheesecake and the red velvet Charlotte cake. They have lotus biscoff cheesecake which is their new flavour and its so delicious that you cant resist eating it. Its the most recommended flavour I can say

The cakes are great in this place. The food is reasonably priced. The snacks are average in taste. The best is the doughnut that is filled with chocolate sauce. The place is easily findable. You might face parking issues. The place is good for all age group's of people.

The cakes are great!! The price is little high, but the portions are fine. But these days they are reducing the size of the portions , which is making everyone unhappy. Please do not reduce the portion size and bring back the previous thickness and quantity. Must haves include : The Rainbow cake, The Banoffee pie, The chocolate stuffed Doughnuts, The Carribbean chocolate, Red velvet cake and French Marquees. The other non dessert dishes are not upto mark. But the cakes are definitely worth a try.

Location : near collector circle, balmatta. Carve is a new and trending Baker in Mangalore city. Crave mainly attracts teenagers and youngster towards it. Ambience is fine with air conditioning. I'm a pastry lover so I wanted to have some good pastries over here. On seeing the pastry display you ll be badly tempted to taste then all. Initially I got red velvet cheese cake to have. The slice cake was tempting me to taste with bright red attractive color. Cake was good to taste 😘😘but I couldn't control my taste buds. I rapidly finished it bfor my other friends compelted. Again I rushed to the counter and this time it was Nutella cheese cake. This was much over amazing 💓💓than the previous one. No words. 😷😷 Finally we had mayonnaise chicken sandwich, but this was OK, was not so much impressive. 😕😕 Ambience wise fine to dine in here. Princing 💲💳💸this was the only thing which I was not OK with.. They can be considerate on this. I feel the pastries are over priced. In average to have one pastry it is about rating100bucks. This makes me to give 3.5 rating..

So many varieties that I always go crazy over what to order. Indulge in the fresh, lush Nutella cheesecake or the all time favorite Red-velvet cake. They even make delicious rolls and sandwiches. Foodies or travellers, this is a must visit eatery of Mangalore. Ferraro Roacher cake, Nutella Cheesecake and the French Mocha pie are my personal favorite.

I tried this place first time for my birthday and ordered a white forest cake, it tasted really nice so i ordered again for my parents anniversary but this time i tried their chocolate truffle cake. Even though i ordered the basic cakes nothing fancy but it was still loaded with flavour. If you're new to the city, or just want to try a new place this place wouldnt disappoint you on any occasion. Their price is also reasonable, and I had ordered through phone calls, they also made the cakes eggless as requested. They also accepted through google pay which is great if you are out of cash or change. The attendant who took the order was really polite and attentive as well.

The Nutella cheese cake I ordered did not taste anything much like Nutella. It had this strange scent on top and the cream in between which was either due to the pastry kept along with others or by using old ingredients. The baked cheesecake tasted just average . Felt like it wasn't freshly made today. Also had ordered red velvet charolette and red velvet cheese cake. Red velvet cheesecake was good but the red velvet charolette was absolutely perfect.. I ordered all 4 by seeing the good reviews for them but I am satisfied with just 2. The other 2 are really not up to the mark.

One of the best places for a desert. I dont even know how many times I've gone here. For all sweet tooth, this is a must. The red velvet and the red velvet Charlotte are amazing. Was here a week ago. Went on a string recommendation from one of my friends. We ordered cold coffee, nutella cheese cake, and mochaccine fudge. The cold coffee was fabulous, one of the best ul get around in Mangaluru . The other desserts were quite average. <br/><br/>Nutella cheese cake had no hint of Nutella on or within it. It was a so-so chocolate cheese cake given in the name of Nutella. The mochaccine fudge was much better than the cheese cake but not something u want to try again !!! <br/><br/>Definitely visit for the coffee ! U can find better deserts in Mangaluru though !! <br/>

I ordered 2 pieces of Doukissa but received only one. The Zomato valet said he was given only one. When I contacted Zomato via chat, they stated that the restaurant told them they have forgotten to pack it due to rush in the kitchen. This is unacceptable. I was refunded the price of 1 piece as Zonato credit but what about the taxes n tip? Deeply disappointed with Crave and Zomato.

A very comfy dessert place is Balmatta, their cakes are really delicious. They have a good variety of desserts and they definitely won't disappoint. A must visit . Also the staff are always very helpful .

If you ever want to have a sugar rush with no bars, this is the place to go. They have a wide assortment of good quality cakes, doughnuts and other dessert items. Dishes you have to try are the Baked cheesecake, Redvelvet pastry, Creme brulee, Chocolate filled doughnut,Rainbow cake, Mudcake, Caribbean chocolate cake. The Chocolate Marquis is very very chocolatey and finishing one slice itself is a challenge. I did not like the Red velvet cream cheese cake at all.

Happy with the delicious cake baked here. Ordered twice on phone and was promptly kept ready. So waiting for more birthdays to order some more delicious cake. Last one ordered was chocolate truffle which was finished immediately by all in the family. Not too sweet just on spot !!

Loved the New York baked cheesecake. The KitKat pastry wasn't upto the mark though. Also tasted the red velvet pastry(not pictured). Was disappointed because they didn't use cream cheese frosting that traditionally goes with red velvet pastry, instead it was plain chantilly cream.

I frequently visit this place to chill. I really love the ambience and the desserts what they serve over here. Lava cupcake, chocolate filled donut and cream cheese filled donut is my usual and an absolute favourite. Also, if you are fond of thick shakes I would recommend you try their KitKat and Nutella shakes.

Whenever I crave for something sweet, I always visit crave. And not once have i walked out unsatisfied. I love the creme Brulee, it's creamy on the inside and the fired caramel on top gives it the perfect combination of sweetness. As a person who loves desserts, Crave turned out to be my go to place for pastries. I’ve tried many of their options. My favourite pastries would be, Nutella Cheesecake, Cheesecake pastry, Red Velvet, Caribbean Chocolate and Baked Cheesecake. I also love their Red Velvet smoothie. 4.5 to be exact.<br/>I was taken to crave by 2 of my friends as part of a surprise party. Each of us ordered a slice of different cakes, the nutella cheese cake, red velvet cake and the Swiss chocolate cake. Among the lot the nutella cheese cake took the prize. It was the most delicious cake and it just melts in your mouth.(coming from a person who doesn't like cheescakes-this means a lot). The red velvet cake and the Swiss chocolate cake were good too, but didn't reach the level set by the nutella cheese cake.<br/>Would definitely go back and try their other cakes and order the nutella cheesecake again.<br/>

Crave has been the epitome of desserts for a while in Mangalore but I always feel like it is a bit too hyped. The desserts are good but are exorbitantly priced. I was disappointed that even though I had ordered cupcakes for a birthday 2 days before the event, I arrived there to discover that they had completely forgotten about the order and I had to make do with the ones that they had.

Cheese filled and chocolate filled, just for 50 bucks. I'm a huge fan of the cheese filled doughnuts. The best I've tasted till date. The cakes might be a little over priced and the burgers are good too.

Really nice small cozy place for dessert. Really good pastries. The chocolate marquise pastry here is something everyone should try, really really amazing if you have a sweet tooth.

A go to bakery for all dessert lovers. Amazingly delicious red velvet cakes await you! Choco cupcakes, donuts, cakes in jars, mud pies, applie pies are all present at this one spot. Cool and tasty shakes are also up on the menu along with a small varying number of fast food dishes!

Ambience is fine with air conditioning. I'm a pastry lover so I wanted to have some good pastries over here. On seeing the pastry display you ll be badly tempted to taste then all.<br/><br/>Initially I got red velvet cheese cake to have. The slice cake was tempting me to taste with bright red attractive color. Cake was good to taste 😘😘but I couldn't control my taste buds. I rapidly finished it bfor my other friends compelted. Again I rushed to the counter and this time it was Nutella cheese cake. This was much over amazing 💓💓than the previous one. No words. 😷😷<br/>Finally we had mayonnaise chicken sandwich, but this was OK, was not so much impressive. 😕😕<br/><br/>Ambience wise fine to dine in here.<br/><br/>Princing 💲💳💸this was the only thing which I was not OK with.. They can be considerate on this. I feel the pastries are over priced. In average to have one pastry it is about 90bucks. This makes me to give 3.5 rating..

Visited with my friends. Good & clean ambience, nice music. Choco lava cake had delicious gooey dark chocolate inside. Chocolate pastry was delicious, with a layer of chocolate mousse in it. Red velvet cake was a tad disappointing. Overall, I'd rate the experience slightly above average!

One of the good bakeries in town .. their chocolate marquis is damn nice 😍😍ferero rocher cake is ok ok and their donut was good too,must try ❤️

Had been to this place to see if it lives up to the hype. Took home one slice each of Caramel Crunch, Carribean Chocolate and Zebra Torte. The last 2 were a disappointment. They were dry. Probably old stock. The Caramel Crunch was the winner. Overall, my expectations were not met. They even have cookies and other snacks like hot dogs and burgers to offer.

Coffee pie, red velvet, blueberry cheese cake, dark chocolate fantasy would be among their signature few. They also have donuts both with and without fillings. For all those people who get this mad sugar rush....Crave is the place to be. This place is located just next to the Diesel Cafe on Balmatta road. You'll see their board very easily. Now coming to the main points.....<br/><br/>1) Ambience & Seating: At any given point of time this place can accommodate 12 ppl with their seating arrangements. Lovely neat and clean decor. Not done in a very flashy way. <br/><br/>2) Food & Drinks: Crave. Lovely name isn't it? And it stands up to it. To quench your sugar cravings. You have options from any normal pastry to exotic cheesecakes to Creme Brûlée. Not many people can make a perfect Creme Brûlée or a baked cheesecake to cupcakes and more. And in a small place like Mangalore, you really might to expect it too. But these guys nailed it. Apart from the sweet loads, you also have their decent variety of sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs. And if someone isn't really keen or doesn't have a good knowledge of deserts, they cal always end up having an ice cream. Add some drinks like iced tea or cold coffees and it makes the whole experience just awesome. <br/>Apart from what they have on display, they also take large orders and many take away options too.<br/><br/>Overall.....just don't think twice to step in to Crave. Most importantly, Crave is very friendly on your pockets.
