Review Kobe Sizzlers - Mangalore

Visited in May 2022. This place seems to be a tie up with Savoury Restaurant. Ambience is good and the furniture too. Two Menu has a lot to offer. Had been waiting since a long time to visit this place; but a bit disappointed with the visit. We ordered starters and 2 sizzlers dishes. Was expecting it to come in sometime; one after the other. We had not even finished our starters and they got both the sizzlers. We had to send one back. The service was not prompt as the used dishes were lying there for a long time and we had to ask somone to collect it. I would rate 4 on 5 for the food. 3 on 5 for the service 5 on 5 for the ambience. Still scope for improvement after moving places due to the lockdowns.

Place was too good!!! And Shashlik Sizzler with oyster sauce was too yum!!! But sizzling brownie was okayish !!

Very spacious restaurant with a wide variety menu. Located at the basement of City Centre Mall. Kobe sizzlers and Savoury, an Arabic restaurant share the same space. Ideal for parties and get together. Service is really good, no delay is there. Food is above average. Bit on the expensive side. If you are looking for variety of sizzlers definitely can try this place. City centre Mall paid parking is available.

If you like mild but flavourful meals, you should try their Chicken sizzler with Oyster Sauce. The chicken was sooo soft and the fries absorbed the sauces so well. The sizzler was cleared in 15 mins. Also tried the Garlic chicken, but it was like chicken nuggets. Lemon Ice tea is nice and refreshing.

I loved the ambience and the food. It's just value for money. It was my first experience with sizzlers and I am totally in love with them. You can always try spicy chicken sizzler,Kobe's veg sizzler and veg pizza. Pizza has thin crispy crust with amazing flavors and lot of cheese. The most amazing thing is desert.

Been to this place a couple of times. The food is really tasty and the ambience is good. The only cons would be that it is pricey!! Recently they had an anniversary offer where some of the Sizzlers were given for 50% off. Besides sizzlers they also have platters and other chicken dishes. I have tried their burger and fried rice as well ( not that great). They also provide desserts and mocktaiks(which are a little pricey) My personal favourites- 1. Chicken Sizzler with garlic sauce -450Rs 2. Grilled chicken with potato wedges -180Rs 3. Melting chocolate pot. The place is Halal. If you prefer taste over price , then this is the place to go.

Great ambience, loved the food .Thin crust pizza with rich creamy sauce and cheese loaded. Try the kobe special sizzler .Sizzling brownie was not worth the money . Rest was above expectation . Good staff and servicing.

Very nice place which serves delicious sizzlers and deserts and other wide range of food options.Located next to the main road but has limited parking space. I would rate 5stars for ambience, quality and service. But the food is very expensive when compared to other places which serves the food of same quality and taste at an affordable price. (One time go)

We visited this restaurant for lunch. I ordered veg. Grilled paneer sizzler. The sizzler was good but not amazing. Service was okay. It is working with the Savory restaurant which is on lower ground floor. The price was reasonable. One time experience is fine..

Wonderful place, good service (even in rush hour) and we liked the sizzlers and drinks

They have an endless array of options ranging from pastas to burgers. The chicken burger was tender and juicy. And the starters of Calimari rings and fish sticks were hearty in quantity and very fresh and crispy. The Neapolitan sizzler is definitely worth a try and has spicy spaghetti on top of roasted vegetables. The milkshakes were thick an creamy and the classic flavours of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla are worth a try. The pizza was topped with plenty of veggies and chicken and the thin crust was really crispy. The chocolate brownie and creme brulee were really yummy and delicate.

Good ambience and tasty food. As Kobe and Savoury restaurants are under one roof, you have a big spread of menu to choose from.

It's good, service is best well it is merged with savoury, savoury is under kobe sizzlers.

It’s mix of two Arabic and Chinese .

Nice place near Central mall. Had beef steak and chicken tika. Beef steak was good but tikka was awesome and porota and chettinad chiken which between good and great.

Loved the service and the quality of food. The quantity is sufficient for two people and the price is reasonable.

Kobe Sizzler lived upto my expectations of a great sizzler franchise. I tried veg delight pizza and veg delight sizzler. The pizza was scrumptious and just perfect. The sizzler was delightful. The ambiance is cool but the service is a bit slow and they should improve it. Would love to try other sizzlers here.

The food here is always at its finest .. I personally love the arabiatta pasta . Few other things I’ve eaten here are their chicken sausage and the chicken special (I guess) sizzlers . They were really good . I’ve eaten pizza here too but it’s not that great . But overall the ambience n service I must say is up to the mark .

Had an amazing evening with my family at this place, polite staff with spacious decor. I tried the steak kobe style, chicken alfredo pasta and the pizza ( just dont remember which one). Overall a good experience :D

A very nice place for original taste of sizzlers, nice ambience with a Western touch and exotic sizzlers, a wide range of choice is provided along with other options. It gives the options of chicken, mutton, beef and sea food. The best sizzlers in town.

This was my first visit. On reaching I was approached by a homeless man asking for some food. I entered the restaurant and asked one of the staff to pack something for the man, I'd pay for it. In 10 mins, he came out with a parcel and gave it, and told me 'its on us, we cant charge you', I insisted but he wouldn't add it to the bill. Don't have must variety in Veg starters or soup, and what we ordered (noodle soup and veg crudites, cheese chilli toast) was average. Not all great, though Veg Sizzlers were exceptionally good.<br/>Coming to the chicken, chicken wings in BBQ sauce, Chicken wings in tomato basil sauce, grilled chicken with garlic sauce and wedges, all the three were amazing, Finger licking good.<br/>Sizzlers, koikude was my favourite among the three we ordered. perfect grilled chicken breast strips on sauted exotic vegetables 🤤 and the portion is good for two (if you have a normal or small appetit)<br/><br/>You can ask for chefs special and make adjustments (less sweet, less spicy etc).<br/>Fancy place, amazing food. Our experience in this highly rated restaurant was a dampner. Maybe that can be one off. But the food on that day dint impress us a bit. The ambience is nice..and location is very good. However the food wasnt upto the mark. Sizzlers were ok..but i have had much better sizzlers before..and an outlet which specializes in sizzlers and has "sizzler" in its nane should be doing better

After 3 days of travel in Dakishina Karnataka my kid want some break in traditional food. We walked into Kobbe's for simple lunch.<br/><br/>Ambiance was pretty good with cafe continental look.<br/><br/>Staffs were polite.<br/><br/>Ordered Veg burger which was served with extra cheese and potato wedges, Lettuces were fresh. Mayonnaise served was mild and good.<br/><br/>Veg Sandwich with cheese was also mild and served with potato wedges. Kobbe's added sauces to Sandwich were treat.<br/><br/>Spaghetti red sauce Italian style sizzler added with parmesan cheese , broccoli , raw cauliflower, potato wedges, green pease ,baby corn and carrots were yummy. The feel of spaghetti pasta with red sauce was added beauty.<br/><br/>Potato wedges in all dishes felt little boring. Rest all looked and tasted good

The sizzlers are good and my favourite is the Kobe special sizzler. But the chocolate ball dessert is divine. Also the sizzling brownie is a good try. The only drawback is the Parking sometimes since the area is always busy.

Omg !!! They have got amazing sizzlers which tastes really yummy. A place like nowhere else. Thats kobe sizzlers. The collection of sizzlers they got is really cool.

I would consider this as a pleasant place to visit once in a while. Good ambience and food. A bit expensive for my taste but I would love to recommend their desserts Melting Chocolate Pot and Sizzling Brownie.

Anyone craving for sizzlers in Mangalore then Kobe's come to our mind. They serve one of the best sizzlers if not the best sizzlers in town. Quantity what they serve is huge and talking about taste then its good as well.

We had an awesome experience here! Very well trained and friendly staffs! Delicious food! Blueberry cheesecake is a must try! Recently ordered for a home delivery, but unfortunately my phone network wasn’t reachable by the time they arrived. They waited for too long n went back. But when I called them again they came back with fresh food n delivered it with a smile! Truly appreciate their professional staffs! 👍🏻 would visit again for sure.

I don’t understand that what kind of staff they have in this restaurant has we had visited this place twice and it was total disappointment that we had to even wait for Greek salad for 30 mins and still we dint receive as we will very pissed with service, we decided to leave the place and we did leave the place and it has happened twice to us , I hope the fix this service to be quick , until then I wouldn’t recommend this place at all !

Had been here with my best friend really craving to have a delicious meal and we left this place totally satisfied! We placed an order for sizzling chicken in oyster sauce and sizzling chicken in schezwan sauce. To our great delight the meat was tender and juicy with the sauces and the rice in it made a perfect match for entire meal. The ambience here is pretty decent with light music complimenting our dine-in. Maybe a little over priced but overall a great experience.

Recently I visited this place.. Staff is very friendly.. Sizzlers also were ok.. But was very disappointed with the quantity as compared to the several other places I have visited.. As for mangalore the price is also on the higher side and doesn't match the quantity they serve... Taste is same nothing different... So might think twice visiting ther...

Very nice continental restaurant. Good service, only thing quality and standards have gone down a little bit. Beef steak shashlik is nice, In dessert section oreo fudge and melting pot is good.

This place is just hype tbvh. Food is bland and has no unique taste for the exorbitant rates charged. For starters I had the chicken and cheese sandwich, drums of heaven and chicken wings. And mains i had the T-Bone steak. The T-Bone steak comes with fride rice or noodles(which is just maggie), mashed potato and some wedges. Ambience and everything was well, its just that the food was not stomach filling and tasty.

While so new in the Mangalore city, we managed to find this amazing restaurant. Ambience was awesome , staff was very friendly but food was not that tasty as expected bt still happy to explore Kobe's sizzler.

I would say, a must visit place if you are fond of sizzlers. you get to eat variety of steaming, delicious sizzlers with a very comfortable ambiance. Its not that crowded always though it is situated in the heart of the city. going here to give it a try would definitely be a good idea. cheers!

Only the sauce varies on taste a little. <br/>My friends ordered different ones, however the veggies and items were same on the plates. <br/>Content of the food is very very less. <br/>We asked to top up with cheese, however they just added one slice of cheese and it's extra Rs.70<br/>We also orderded ice tea and it was bland. This place is basically famous for sizzlers. It has a really good ambience and the location is good as well. The service is really good. The waiters are sweet and escort you from the entrance till your table. The sizzlers served are hot and delicious and provide ample quantity. I loved Kobe since it was open in city centre. But my today's experience was terrible. We had ordered for chicken satellite, which was my favorite. I have got may friends n relatives here before this to just have this sizzler . Today's one was dry and very bad. When asked for the restaurant manager nobody turned up. One waiter came n started telling that chicken satellite is supposed to be like this. He was not ready to admit it was not good. We had ordered 2 satellites which looked different from each other.<br/><br/>The consistency of Kobe has gone down terribly. Either they have to learn to cook or to keep polite staff. I will discourage anyone who asks about Kobe from now on.<br/><br/>I want the manager and management to see this. As there was no one at that time to solve the issue. The staff tried to pacify us by not making us pay. But we have paid them more than the expected bill as we don't want them to think that we complained to get free food. I'm very sad to write this review as this was my favorite place.

This place is situated in center of mangalore city. The quality of meat is very poor and service sucks Bit on expensive side for the quantity of food.

I ordered one virgin mojhito and cheese steak sizzler. Mojhito was very good, but I didn't like the sizzler. There is a good music playing on in the background, but I couldn't watch the Ipl match as I was having food, mann. People there are nice to you. You feel yourself at home. There's a valet parking facility.

I do like the sizzlers and steaks here. Great place to hang out with family and friends. Desserts were a bit disappointing but I’d like to try again.

The food was tasty no doubt about it. We were such messy eaters here since the food was yummy. But we had to wait for our order ,it took us a while :( so we patiently waited for our food. That was the only sad part). It’s a great place if you wanna dine out or have a family lunch.

Highly disappointed with the service here. we've been waiting for the table for about half an hour and when we got the table they took 20 mins to take the order. now it's been like 45 mins that we got the order. We're waiting from 9.30pm and it's 10.15pm now.

I was here with my friends on an ocassion in college and went for lunch as they had 50% off on their veg and chicken sizzlers. We thought it'd be great to try their sizzlers as we wouldn't have to pay a bomb for their sizzlers unlike always. we were 6 of us so we ordered for some soft drinks and three sizzlers.<br/><br/>The chicken menu was very limited with just 5-6 sizzlers on offer and out of it we ordered for a sizzling chicken with schezwan sauce, chicken shashlik sizzler and a sizzling chicken with oyster sauce. the food took a long time to come but graduating conversations kept us occupied. The sizzling chicken with schezwan sauce was good and i liked the sauce it didn't taste like schezwan sauce more like chilly sauce but was appealing to my taste buds. The shashlik sizzler was good as well and the butter tossed veggies in it made the platter look very appetising. the sizzling chicken in oyster sauce was decent as well. the potato wedges in all the sizzlers were damn good, it was charred to perfection and also the mashed potatoes were very delicuous with good taste of butter. overall the food was pretty okay in my opinion cause the sizzler did not have a very good impact on me, mostly psychological i believe!<br/><br/>the staff was courteous but was very slow in serving the sizzler especially. the ambience is exceptional and the place is centrally located with good parking space available. music was good too. for me it was a one time visit here unless they come up with more offers😂😂

The food was pretty decent. Unfortunately the service was a little slow, the ambiance is good. If you are in the region and looking for a food stop you could visit the place for sure.

Went here for lunch when I was in Mangalore recently. One of the few places (that I know of) that are open at this time on a Sunday. The place is spacious and relatively empty. We went upstairs and took a booth which could comfortably seat three. <br/><br/>We ordered a Kobe Special Chicken Sizzler with noodles and schezwan sauce, a chicken platter with rice and garlic sauce and a chicken alfredo pasta. The food was good, although their sizzler fell short of my expectations. It was less chicken and more of noodles. <br/><br/>The pasta stood out for me and definitely something to order. The chicken platter made it seem like it would feed two people but it's only enough for one person to be honest. <br/><br/>We ordered lime sodas and cold coffee, both of which were really good. However, for the quantity of food we got, the price was not worth it. The service was really good though; very attentive staff! Go here if you're a light eater.

Everytime I visit mangalore I make sure to visit Kobe sizzlers.My all time favorite is chicken satellite sizzlers and chicken Alfredo pasta it’s very juicy and yummy than I have added pictures of dice steak that too was very yummy even if one isn’t hungry once u start eating you won’t able to stop your hand..Loved it.The service is also very good.The interior is ok ok..All over it’s good everyone should visit it once.

Visited this outlet when I was in Mangalore recently. The ambience is nice and lively and the service is decent. Tried the following :<br/><br/>1) Fresh Lime Soda- Good and refreshing<br/>2) Cheese Balls - Okayish and it did not have any cheese(as claimed)and had Paneer instead. The sauce was also not good in taste. Disappointing & avoidable.<br/>3) Kobe Veg Special sizzlers with fried rice - This one was decent in taste but had very less sauce. Had to call for the sauce separately.<br/><br/>4) Sizzling Chocolate Brownie- Good in taste but not great.

This is probably the best place to have sizzlers in Mangalore. It scores high on ambiance, location, and more importantly food. I have been here about 3 times and servings are praiseworthy. The staff is courteous and responsive as well.

If you have your love for sizzlers, this place is definitely a must go. They have one of the best sizzlers in town especially with the steak options. <br/>The service is just brilliant with the manager making recommendations depending on what you'd like best

The place has a nice vibe to it. We started our meal with Vegetable Sweet Corn Soup which was bland, Drums of Heaven which were good, French Fries & Fish Fingers that were overcooked. In main course, the Chicken Alfredo Pasta was good. Chicken Shashlik Sizzler was great. The service was good and efficient. The portions of the dishes are small so if you go in a big group, you will have to order a lot. The food is not bad but it's overpriced and not worth the money.

Finally came here after so many years in mangalore for a friend's treat. Tried the cheese balls(they were pretty good but quantity was less), the mushroom and noodles veg sizzler (coz non veg sizzlers are too chewy for life)which was pretty nice and had some great earthy flavours and finished it off with a chocolate milkshake(was too sweet tho)<br/><br/>It has an amazing ambience<br/><br/>Next visit:<br/>*KOIKUDE CHICKEN SIZZLER*<br/>Blehhh (probably crappy coz it was on the 50% discount thingi)<br/><br/>Again<br/>*STROGANOFF SIZZLER*<br/>Yeah this is nice. This place reminds me of just another favourite cafe from Mumbai !! Its a very similar setup !! I loved the set up and the kobe look !! Beautiful doors. But team, seriously you guys need the maintain the cleanliness of the restroom!! Food is goodd!! People, if you dont like barley dont try the kobe spl soup. Amazing lighting and ambience, staff is courteous and attentive. The food is amazing, both vegetarian and non vegetarian and the chicken platter is a must have dish. Slightly overpriced for the student community but the food just drags you back in there!

A great place for a sizzler as well as the pasta<br/>The Red sauce and the white sauce pasta is greatt!<br/>One of the great things that they do is mix up the sauces according to your taste for the sizzler which is lovely!<br/>Overall great food even though its a little expensive.<br/>Ambience 10/10

The place is amazing! The service is good the quality of food is also so good! Would live to visit this place again. The veg platter is just yum. They also served a milk based drink with saffron and cinnamon (don't remember the name, sorry), it was worth drinking and will drink it all over again.

One of the Best Steak place by a long margin in Mangalore and Bangalore put together as per me the best in Mangalore from the way the place looks and tastes. The Steaks are made well here from the meat to vegetables and thier mash made perfect. It has got a mangalore touch to Its Menu they have Lot of sea food on thier menu like Calamari and prawns. The way the place looks makes you drop by looks elegant. The team has put alot of efforts to make it look like that I'm sure.

The service here is damn too good. The waiters are polite and have a good understanding of the food served. The beef served here is not a cow beef but buffalo beef. The ambience just bends well with the food. The prices are a bit high but overall a very good choice for heavy meals

Value for money. Their sizzlers and Sizzling brownie with ice cream is worth spending money on. They do offer pizzas as well. Very spacious place with a very great ambience. Staff is good as well! A must visit place in Mangalore.

Service was excellent. The waiter explained the dishes well along with the specials. Now coming to food. I ordered a sizzler which was not well presented. Also it did not taste great. I also ordered a squid fry or something of that sort which was complete waste of money. Ambience was great but expected alot more from the food part.

In my opinion,Kobe's is the best designed space that Mangalore now has. Dominating black walls,unfinished spaces and the metal look blends in totality! Their sizzlers are liked by everyone who visits them,caters to the Mangalore crowd and taste. My favourite would be the seafood delight! In the desserts section,my vote definitely goes to the creme caramel! Burst of caramel with ice cream and can't taste better! A special mention to their staff,ordering a sizzler is not easy and they really simplify the process with their expertise!

I have visited Kobe in UAE serval times and used this place to take my business associate who are foodies. Was happy to see Kobe in Mangalore, wasn't expecting much must admit the standards are international but certainly the meat quality isn't that great may be due to supply issues. However, chicken and lamb was good everyone had a good time feasting. Service and ambience it's great value for money not very expensive when compared. If you are sizzler lover or you want to entertain a foodie be is business or pleasure, this is one of the place in Mangalore. Wish them success

Had their chicken shashlik sizzler and sizzling brownie. Sizzler quantity was enough for me and my friend. We were too full and satisfied. Sizzling brownie was the best I had in the manipal mangalore region.

First of all, the ambience is amazing. The fragrance while i entered was just so refreshing. The menu is vast and offers a plethora of options to choose from starters, snacks, main courses, sizzlers to desserts and drinks.<br/><br/>Soups are not the chinese kind, but continental ones. So dont expect all that hot and sour flavours that we usually get in chinese restaurants. Starters that we orderd was grilled chicken with potato wedges and Honshu chicken. Both were good, honshu chicken had a bed of rice topped with chicken in white sauce and vegetables in the side. Rice wasn't salted, but it was a good dish. Then we had spicy chicken sizzler, it was amazing. The quantity was really pleasing.<br/><br/>Overall, it is a great place to dine, has got friendly staffs, huge menu and you will leave with full tummy and total satisfaction.<br/><br/>Keep up the good work :)

Everything is amazing. Their sizzlers, starters, pastas, mocktails, nasi goreng. The drink death by chocolate is too die for, too good. The Hokkaido chicken sizzler is full of flavor. The nasi goreng is very very tasty.
