If you want to try something new and scrumptious then this is one stop and also worth the price. They provide very good service and also has a good ambiance too. Great option for fine dining with family and friends.

What a place! eye catchy ambience entire place is very beautifully designed including the menu and utensils it was completely designed in bollywood style. We enjoyed sitting at our comfort after the order while service was too slow. And and this is not at all a place for vegetarians none was upto mark with two starter's Paneer and Mashroom tikka had no flavours wasn't marinated for long veg Biriyani was good and no soup option for pure vegetarian (they themselves rejected the order). In non vegetarian dishes we absolutely enjoyed the best ever had dish MD special dum kebab which was perfectly cooked with balanced flavours. And the next dish Gosht seek kebab was really yum yum we enjoyed this dish very very much. Mutton and chicken Biriyani tastes delicious, soup was good too but all the dishes had less salt including the lime soda we had to add it in addition. Service was polite and friendly.

The paneer was stunning so was the paratha. In the dessert we had the firni which was spot on. The only thing was I wish the AC was a little stronger ! Give it a try preferably in the evenings! Good value for money.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. The presentation of the food and the taste were both to my liking. We ordered the mutton and chicken biryanis, the dum kebab, a gravy chicken and rotis. All were tasty and served warm. The decor was well done, place was not crowded and service attentive. Overall prices were reasonable for an relatively upscale joint. I look forward to trying it again the next time I am in Mangalore.

It is located in Kadri above KFC. It is a nice place. Prices are affordable. You will gt best biriyaani over there. Dishes are good even the service. But desserts choice are less.........

This place has always amazed me with their unique starters that goes sooo damn easy on my tummy as well as on my pocket. The staffs are really courteous and helpful in placing orders and while serving too. The stuffed minced chicken is my personal favourite along with soooo many other dishes that I keep trying out everytime I feel like having Indian Cuisine. The ambience here is filled with Bollywood Masala which could probably be done even better if considering details would be vital. Kudos to Mumbai Darbar.

Ordered Beja (Brain) masala fry in my last visit there. Wasn't good. I think earlier they had Beja Pepper Fry which was excellent. All other dishes were good. Paya Masala was awesome.

They have a somewhat restricted menu. However the available food is very tasty. Unlike the food of many other restaurants , one doesn't feel bloated after eating the food here. Parking is limited. Staff is decent and courteous

MUMBAI DARBAR : A branch of ROYAL DARBAR serves some authentic mughlai and north indian dishes.

Recently we had a family gathering and ordered Chicken munchow soup, Chicken Angara Kebab, Chicken Alishan Kebab and Chicken Dum Kebab as starters.

The soup was thick in texture, spicy and was delicious. All the kebabs served had great flavour. Chicken Dum Kebab was served in a clay pot with cheese and was our favourite for the day and it’s a must try.

For main course – Mutton platter, Mutton Paya Masala, Mutton Lajawab , Butter naans, Butter Kulchas and Mutton Biriyani. Kulchas and naans were soft and delicious.

We had refreshing mint and lime juice which was served in a quite big glass tumbler.

The food was extraordinary and each dish we ordered had its own flavour as the name says. The food was cooked , served so neatly and perfectly with awesome presentation. All the dishes were extremely wholesome, had enough quantity with quality and was quiet budget friendly.

The ambience is great with quite spacious and ample dining area. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and had thorough knowledge of what they served. They were very professional in serving each and every dishes step by step and in time.

Highly recommended. A must visit restaurant.

I recently visited the restaurant for a dine in where I enjoyed the experience, though I faced some service issues. Having enjoyed the food during my visit, I happened to order one of the same dishes through Zomato today. Surprisingly, though it was the same dish ordered, I was sent a totally different dish than the one served in the restaurant. It was different in taste, colour and flavour. A spicy dish was served sweet, today disappointing guests who has visited me today.. Be careful when you order since the restaurant faces severe consistency issues!!

The restaurant ambience is decent and the food was very delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening with pepper mutton, man chow soup, tandoori chicken and Chicken Gravy Dish. It’s a good place for dining in the City Mangalore.

We had some biryani and kebabs. Chicken biryani was good and packed with flavour and masala spices. Mutton biryani lacked flavour. Kebabs were moist and yummy too.

For more detailed reviews please visit my Insta Page @ sykoblogger

This is a Halal Outlet

Visited this place on my cousins recommendation. Place looks nice. Seating is ample and quite spacious.

Staff is friendly.

We ordered cheese topped chicken, which is known as Tawa Dum Chicken Kabab. We felt the chicken was kind of rubbery and chewy. It should have had been tender and soft with the cheese it would be nice.

We ordered the Chicken Biryani which was good in flavor and overall nice.

MUTTON biryani on the other hand was really great. Has nice flavor to it. Mutton pieces were juicy and succulent.

Biryani Quantity can be improved for the price paid.

Overall i would recommend this place.

With Shama Shabbir

Just waste of money!!! Chicken biriyani costing 220 rupees doesn't have rice to fill half a stomach😑...Not Happy with the restaurant
Zomato did a great job!!😆😆

Great ambience, food and very family friendly. However the service is slow. But the taste makes up for the delay in service. Value for money.

The food is really good. Each and everythng we ordered here was yummy. The speciality here is the dum kabab cooked in clay pot. Both the chicken curry(murgh sufiyana) and the lamb curry(rogan josh) we tried here was cooked to perfection. Absolutely loved our family dine-out at mumbai darbar. The ambience is good too. Recommend !!

The restaurant was completely empty when I went there on a Monday afternoon. This made me nervous and I expected the food to be passable. So I decided to order just the butter chicken and one mushroom starter. The food turned out to be very tasty and the service was great! Definitely recommend a visit :)
The worst aspect about this restaurant is there is no buzz around it. Confession, while passing by through Mallikatte function, I have seen the board on the hotel but wondered whether it's open as the opening of the restaurant on the rear end.

The restaurant welcomes you in a filmy style as you set your feet on the stairs. The lobby is colourful and the menu is very innovative. Each item on the menu is christened with a Bollywood nickname. Quite interesting to read. We ordered the bheja fry and murgh dilkush. This is the first time I have enjoyed bheja friend . Murgh dilkush just was sprinkled with cheese but tasted good and the pieces were chunky.
We ordered the chocolate mousse as a take away.

One aspect which I would like to mention is the service, very observant waiters and stewards. They put up with out request of clicking photos and gently came back and served us each item of the order. If you are person who appreciates presentation skills, the cutlery, plates they used and the manner of placement will impress you.

If you are a Mangalorean and never visited this place do plan a visit to this place.

A good family restaurant, worth the money and it has the world's bestestesttttt ***chocolate mousse***! It is soo light and airy and i get overwhelmed by sweet stuff but i happily finished this. I rate it 9/10 (quantity is quite generous)

Food is good... Ambience is great..
Menu is fun to read...
But when look at the bill after you eat..
Your heart ll break..
Price is sky high.. not worth it...
You get same quality food at other places also with good ambience..

Me and my girlfriends fought the #mondayblues with a #dinnernight at @mumbaidarbar.
The first #starter we ordered was this #mushroom tikka. I am not a huge fan of mushroom. I don't really eat mushroom very often, i would rather say, it is very rare. But, since Mumbai Darbar offers only two vegetarian choices in starters (paneer and mushroom) we descided to order both.
To my surprise, I love this dish. I always considered mushrooms to be tasteless, but, this dish made my tastebuds want more. Beautifully seasoned mushroom, capsicum, onion and tomatoes in a batter of curd and spices, baked in tandoor, is delicious. The texture of the dish was amazing, also, the mushroom in itself was soft and tasty.
Price - around Rs 350
Dish- 5/5
Place - 5/5
Pahadi Paneer Tikka, beautifully seasoned paneer marinated in mint served with some mint chutney and marinated capsicum.
Yum!
#Paneer is not food, it is a #feeling♥️
Dish- 4/5
Place -4/5

It's been a while since I've updated my blog but you see, when I'm asleep, I dream of eating and every time I'm awake, all I want is to eat and get back to sleep again. So I was a bit busy with my eat-sleep schedule and now that I have my exams coming up, here's something to spam your feed. 😌
Mumbai Darbar located at Kadri is a pleasant spot to dine with your family. They had only two options to soup, one chicken shorba and the other one of course, mutton shorba 😁 And the soup sticks did compliment them well.
Chicken in the pot literally melted in my mouth 🤤
Murg Alishaan and murg zafran in fact tasted almost the same. Appetising Butter chicken, along with parathas and pathiris. One more chicken curry as you can see in the picture(ignore the fact that I'm very weak at remembering names) was quite a disappointment.
First try ever, do lemme know if you find any restaurants that serve best Phirni in Mangalore.
And yeah! For those who're familiar with old Hindi songs, can spend some good time singing throughout their innovative yet interesting menu!
@thetastylife_ @zomatoin
