Review Hindu Military Hotel - Mangalore

I come only for the Chicken Sukka. It's legendary. It is made using Tyson chicken which tastes different from the broiler chicken. The meat is a lot tougher. The gravy mainly constitutes is grated coconut and is heavily spiced. Overall it tastes brilliant. The meals and fish fry is average, no wow factor. Get as early as possible as it would be difficult to find seats during peak hours. Their chilli chicken is also worth trying. The service here is quick and efficient. I also like how they serve the meals in banana leafs. I'm a huge fan of that. I recommend this place for their chicken sukka.

I've experienced one of the finest chicken sukka dishes in Mangalore. Despite its small size , the hotel makes no compromises when it comes to the taste of food.

The best Chicken sukka ever, this tastes more like our Tulu Nadu traditional sukka. They use ooru da kori, but not the Boiler kori. I tasted similar during my childhood days, never found traditional taste these days. Just Amazing.

Typical coastal style fish/chicken curry rice served hot with chicken & fish delicacies. One can have a great tummy filling meal at a reasonable price!

I gave five stars for the food quality!!! Nice homely food served. The ambience is of course super budget... Don't expect valet parking LOL It's about waiting and pouncing on your seat before another person has devoured your seat!!! Very busy during peak hours. It's a low end hotel with very good "meals"

Amazingly priced. Fairly modest and simple menu. Chicken tastes like chicken and not dead meat. They can cook a hearty meal.
