I live in Mumbai but my dad's from Mangalore; and he used to pick up their chicken sandwiches for me. I've eaten chicken sandwiches from almost every place in Mumbai that makes them; but these are simply the best I've ever tried. My dad hasn't been to Mangalore for almost 2 years now, and I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms :) Will bribe some other relative who travels frequently to get them for me now!

If you are driving near Rama Bhavan complex and feel like having something sweet or spicy to eat, then just hop on down to Cream Caramel which is located at Navabharath Circle. This tiny hangout spot is located inside Bharat Petroleum Pump, so you won't miss it!
Once you enter Cream Caramel, you can find yourself standing in front of the display filled with delicious cakes, spicy puffs, samosas, doughnuts, ice cream and other desserts like mousse and cheesecake. Whatever you might be craving for, I am sure you can find it at Cream Caramel.
Also, don't forget to sip on a cup of hot coffee or tea, or perhaps quench your thirst with a glass of your favorite juice.
Another nice thing about this place, is that it is away from the main road, so you can sit for hours and enjoy a nice chat with a friend or two. Though the seating area is small, it is quite cozy and comfortable.
The strawberry, black forest and chocolate pastry which we had ordered was really good. The frosting is just perfect and not too salty and sugary like in some other places. The chocolate pastry was a little dry when we dug our fork into it, but once we tasted it, we really enjoyed the chocolatey goodness!
Chocolate Pastry costs about Rs. 45 per piece, Strawberry Pastry costs Rs. 35 and Black Forest costs Rs. 40. You can also order 1/2 kg, 1 kg cakes for those special occasions!
So the next time you are in the neighborhood, stop by Cream Caramel. The people are friendly and service is fast as well.

This is a really great place that I go to very often. The best thing is that they are open until 11:30pm. So that's good. I guess.

This place has some really good stuff to offer.Love visiting this place to try out the many options. Tried their sausage puffs which sausage lovers will enjoy.Their cilly puff is also good, especially their outer puff layers are made just right. Their pastry offerings are good too, the caramel custard, bread pudding etc are moderately priced at 20 bucks plus.A must visit place and they have a nice seating area too though tiny, will do just for the food they offer.You might just miss this place as it is part of the petrol pump at navratan circle kodial bail so next time scan the petrol pump and you will find this in the right corner end towards the alley that leads to car street.
I have been fan of their cakes and pastries from the time they started in Mangalore, i.e., from Saibeen Complex Counter to till now.. Theres somthing different about these guys.. Yes they make Cakes and Pastries, but they have something different, to their taste and the way they make.. Their yummy and simply enjoyable..
Almost all occassions in my place, we ended up getting a cake from them.. They are soft, fresh and tasty.

Loved the rasmalai cake. It was very tasty and moist. It wasn't too sweet and was just perfect. 👍🏼 we loved it. Thank you for such a lovely cake. 😊 Even though the price was on the higher end it was worth every penny. Definitely would like to try other flavors in future.
We placed an order for cake my nephews bday. Undoubtedly delicious cake was delivered by the same evening from Cream Caramel. We had certain priorities like non chocolate, no fondant, within 1kg etc. The cake was as expected. Excellent service😊
I visited Mangalore with my family to celebrate my mother's birthday and ordered the Rasmalai cake from here as she was keen on trying out this flavour! It was absolutely amazing- super light, fluffy and balanced sweetness! We enjoyed the cake thoroughly and recommend you all to definitely try it out. <3
One of the best Rasmalai cake I've ever had...it had the correct amount of sweetness and the flavour was so well incorporated... absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!
