Review Kairali Adukkala - Mangalore

Situated in a prominent area. I ordered a full chicken biryani dry for takeaway. The biryani was good. Had aroma. But not spicy. Got 3 prices of dry chicken which was tasty. But most disappointing thing was the raita they provided. I can't even call it raita. It was like, water was painted with curd. Because of the raita issue, I couldn't taste the biryani upto some point. Quantity was so good.

Ordered veg Mexican salad without spice for rs 210. Really worth the price. Other cafe/restaurants charge more than 300 for less quantity like diet n protein, nothing but hipe. 5 Star for making such amazing salad for such a price.

Good interior ambience and food. Multiple varieties of tandoor and Karavali delicacies. Just behind this hotel, they also have a smaller outlet where you get affordable Kerala styled thali and biryanis.

CB is a must try. Tried Crispy honey chicken, It's like eating dessert and starter at the same time ( not a good sensation; ie wouldn't recommend). Service is great, place is clean. ( it's not a mALluS only restaurant. If you don't like mALlu food; probably you shouldn't order the same)

Very family friendly place. Good for a large family dinner or get together. Can get noisy sometimes but nothing intolerable. Good quality of food with a reasonably good pricing. Ample of parking in the basement. Worth the visit

As a traveller. I was in Mangalore. Tried this restaurant few times. It was one of the most exciting restaurants in Mangalore. loved this place a lot. the restaurant atmosphere is amazing. The food taste & quality is above expections. The staff is very helpful. If looking for any Kerala type cuisine, must try this restaurant.

Though I like the presentation of the thali, being colorful and neat I was expecting more of the Kerala taste. Disappointed but portions were quite good. The highlight was the payasam #yum. Value for money.

Ordered through Zomato but Chicken biryani packing of swiggy and chicken kolapuri packing of Uber eats. Surprising . Does that mean it is pre packed and kept for others??? Didn't like both stuffs.

Ordered few dishes from the menu and i think the taste varies from other branch. The food is good but can improve a lot to next level. I wish you can add chicken 90 in menu which is available in Kairali Grand

This ambeince is perfect if you need some privacy with your family. the food was OK for fine dining kudos for presentation. loved the starters and staff keral biryani had a bit sweeter after taste to it . which I didnt like since iam a big biryani fan so I guess. Most of dishes are good .I order a lot.<br/>First time I ordered chicken 65. It's not authentic 65. There was no curry leaves and just had some vinegar and hot sauce. Please change the 65 recipe. Biryanis, kababs and chicken gravys are too delicious and are at reasonable prices. The service is also good. The main dishes are of Kerala.

Hi, this is how I recieved this unsealed and half filled container Of simple fish gravy for 115 + 25 extra for packaging. Very very disappointed. The food wasn’t sealed and to make the experience even worse , it was half. Though I had paid for full. While asking the delivery boy he said he too asked the same with the restaurant manager as to why is it half? And not sealed? But the restaurant manager just ignored him. Never gonna order from here again!

They provide best combos for breakfast, it usually consists of Kerala dishes which are mouth watering. They have one of bread items like appam or naipathiri along with egg curry and tea. Tea is provided in plastic cups, it would be appreciable if they had paper cups instead.

I like their fish thali very much. Tasty food. They have started with combos, one of good move. Exceptionally good. A must visit place. Yummy

I had ordered Kerala dry chicken biriyani. I can say without any doubt that Kairali Adukkala have the best Kerala dry chicken biriyani with good quantity.

Attention to all the people in mangalore...kindly don’t order online from this restaurant as they send reheated old or leftover foods as parcel . Sometimes they even miss out certain items in the combo. In Biriyani also instead of a proper chicken piece they put bits n pieces with hardly any chicken. So to avoid such experiences through zomato pls refrain from ordering online especially the items on offer or combo offer from this restaurant.

Its seems like Kairali Adukkala's biriyani has improved for the better ! I usually dont get bigger pieces with the biriyani but this time, the chicken pieces were larger and the masala was a bit more spicier. Definitely deserves 5 stars. Well done guys 👍👍

Average place typical Kerala food place and it’s not That great in the terms of service and all yes they are good in their specialty that is Kerala food and they are too good at this !

The place has got brilliant Kerala cuisine and it's convinient for those who travel considering how near it is from the Railway station. Delayed train timings or reached the station too early? This is the place you gotta visit.

The delivery was at the correct time and the service was good. He came to the proper address at the exact time. Food was packed well.  The delivery boy didn't test our patience.

Just wanted a quick dinner with my life partner and wanted to go to HAoHao which is reloacted next to Kairali. On a whim, we went to this place instead. Very cordial staff and the time taken to prepare the ordered food was very qiuick. We being pure vegetarian, all i can say is the food is much better than the one's which serve only veg. Definitely would visit this place again and again for its taste, quality, quantity and above all the courteous team.

The kerala dry chicken biryani from them is realy tasty, also the way they package the things also too good, the price is mentioned on the higher side than the price you get at the resturant, but always i get a minimum discount of 30% which makes it cheaper at the end

I ordered 3.piece of puttu.. .It was very small and price was very high. Ghee paratha is not at all good. Worst experience ..no more ordering from here.

Had ordered for Kerala mutton Biryani it was a bad experience there was no enough Masala and rice was over cooked and mushy didn’t taste that good aswell

Food was ok ok. There was more rice and very very less masala. The masala must be increased so that we can eat nicely and love the food. Biryani rice it over cooked and also biriyani means the rice must be Baasmati or the long one. Anyways not so satisfied but ok 👍🏻

Food is not as good as expected and price is also high as compared to other Restaurants. Basically no one should expect a Kerala taste from here...

I had ordered 3 puttu+kadala curry+tea from this restaurant for breakfast deal of Rs 49 but got only 1 puttu+kadala curry+tea.<br/><br/>Upon that when I had contacted Zomato regarding the issue they are refusing to accept it<br/>and when I next checked the app it has been edited from 3 to 1 puttu.<br/><br/>Please note that the cost of 3 puttu+kadala curry +tea as per zomato app comes to about Rs 127<br/>including delivery and packing charges. So how do they claim that cost of 1 puttu+kadala curry+tea is Rs 149.<br/><br/>We expect more transparency from Zomato.<br/><br/>This kind of behavior was not expected from Zomato and Kairali Adukkala :(

Guys your curries are good enough the only problem is with breads you always provide naan which is either burned or which is not properly cooked. I would have rated it 5 for the curries which you provide but for breads I wont because I have mentioned it before while placing the order but it didn't worked..

pathethic food quality !! had ordered hyderabad biriyani it was nothing but white rice... absolutely had no spices nor any taste...very dissapointing food..higly suggest not to order food through zomato from here !!!

The chicken curry is like two small pieces of chicken in a vegetable curry. They call puri, pathiri and the wrap everything in old newspaper.

Ordered Hyderabadi chicken biryani. It was excellent. Chicken perfectly cooked with nicely flavoured rice. Will surely be ordering again soon.

Biriyani was not tasting like a Biriyani, it was like 2chicken pieces with a half boiled egg mixed with ghee rice and served. There was literally no spice, no salt, nothing. Couldn't even eat it properly. Was not at all satisfied. Din't expect this from kairali.

Had ordered half tandoori.. Usually it means 4 pieces.. But got only 2 pieces. They atleast need to specify number of pieces if they are not serving regular portions.

Tried the combo meal today and was happy compared to most other meals I have tried in mangalore recently. The combo had porota, chicken curry, dal, ghee rice and chicken kabab. The quantity was good and very filling. The food tasted good but the dal did not really taste much like dal and the kabab was the size of popcorn. That was sad but on the whole a good meal.

Kerala Briyani is really good. But the quantity is drastically reduced when ordered online. Same price you will get almost double the quantity if you have it there.
