Review Punjab Bhatti Da Dhaba - Mangalore

Amazing pure veg Punjabi food with a twist. Awesome presentation. Good service. They don't use artificial colors, tastemakers, and corn startch in soup. Feels like home cooked food presented with a modern twist. I would definitely recommend it. It's a must try .

Probably the Yummiest Punjabi food I've had in Mangalore !!! Absolutely amazing food, tastes very authentic. Huge menu to choose from. Completely vegetarian so it's really not an issue for putting veggies to come to this Punjabi restraunt Had ordered baby corn crispy ...it was too good. All the starters and main course items were cooked to perfection. Even the drinks very tasty and we'll presented. And the prices were very reasonable. Totally worth the money . Overall a Great experience and a must visit when in town .

Tasty North Indian food and staff is very friendly, I loved their dish "Malai Tikka Paneer". It was juicy and yummy😋. Service was also quick and they served the dishes in plate neatly. Price is resonable. Quantity of food is worth.

It's a very decent place to go and hangout with your friends and family having soothing ambience. The Food we had was undoubtedly delicious having the right amount of spices. We tried a new dish called jaipuri bhindi which was awesome and butter nan would be a better choice than butter tandoori although both of them were good. Rates of items are set at a very reasonable margin (not too low not too high). PS: if you are @ brand factory which is near by then its definitely recommend.

Great food, good ambience, good service and authentic Punjabi taste. Tried papdi chat, gobi chilly and Achari panneer Tikka as starters which were really tasty. The green chutney which was provided had the right amount of spices which complimented the paneer Tikka. The butter rotis were smooth, hot and soft with oodles of butter while the palak paneer was finger licking good. But the highlight was the Dal makhni which was the best dish I have tried in a very long time. It was beautifully cooked and seasoned. Thick and having a good consistency which reminded me of the authentic Dal makhni I had in Punjab. The lassi tasted well. The only issue would be the not having different varieties of Lassi but the presentation was good. The place is not big but is a choice to take your friends or family for next dinner or lunch. A definite "have to check out" place for foodies

Worst experience ever!!!! I used to love paneer makhani from this restaurant but because of irresponsible attitude of restaurant It took them 1 hour only to accept my order....then comes this delivery guy who doesn't even have the idea of where the restaurant is located....this delivery guy needed to pick the order from kankanady and he called me 10 time from hampankatta.i will make sure not to order anything from Punjab Bhatti da dhaba anymore!😤😤 And please try to keep your customer happy and restaurant owners should be awake while his working time

I visited this place and left in 5 mins.
Reason : These people do not accept cards or Paytm.
Clear intention to make black money.
India is digital but some people are still not.

Good food but quantity was really not worth. Previously while ordering the quantity of pieces was more in no, expecting the same order next time led me to disappointment which was less. We would love to order from you so do maintain good service 😊

Whenever I visit a restaurant, I look forward to visiting again. If I have had a positive experience, then this will give me an extra reason to come back and enjoy the delicious food, soothing ambiance and friendly service.

One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in Mangalore is Punjab Bhatti Da Dhaba. They serve delicious North Indian dishes which have the authentic Punjabi taste. Today, my colleagues and I decided to order lunch through the Zomato App. Though I am used to writing reviews on Zomato.com for many years, this is the first time I am ordering online. I kept wondering if it would be complicated and take lots of time. But I must say the whole process was like a breeze!

Around 12:30 p.m., we logged into the App and placed our order. The next step was to provide the delivery address and make the payment. Since we had a Promo Code, we got a discount of Rs.150. How cool is that! There is even an option where you can write some instructions to the Delivery Person like, “Please deliver at a certain time.” After 20 minutes, I received a call from the Delivery Person. He just wanted to make sure about the order and about the location. We had requested the order to be delivered by 1 PM and it reached us on time.

Some of the food was packed in aluminum foil and the gravies were in plastic containers. The aroma made us feel really hungry and we just could not wait to dig in!

Here are the items which we ordered:

1. Malai Paneer Tikka – This was the first appetizer which we had ordered. The Paneer was succulent and tasted delicious. There was some Mint Chutney and Sliced Onions served as Garnishments. I got a rich taste of cheese in every bite. Not sure if it was cheese or not, but that didn’t matter as the dish itself was mind blowing

2. Crispy Baby Corn – The Baby Corn was crispy and full of flavor. There was a tomato and capsicum gravy which came along with it. You have to add a few spoonfuls of this and eat it together. The capsicum added a lot of robust flavor to this dish. When you eat one, you feel like eating more. What an interesting combo!

3. Butter Kulcha – There is a variety of breads to choose from. We all decided to try out the Butter Kulcha. The texture was soft and not very buttery, unlike some places where you can see the butter droplets on your plate. No matter how long we took to eat, the Butter Kulcha was still so soft and tender.

4. Dal Makhani – If there is a Punjabi gravy which I can eat any time of the day that would definitely have to be the Dal Makhani. The Black Urad has been cooked properly and the right amount of cream has been blended well to give the popular dish an extremely rich taste. I would definitely recommend this item.

5. Subzi Miloni – I am sure you have heard your parents tell you – Don’t forget to eat your vegetables! Well, this dish has a combination of beans, carrots, peas and even small pieces of Paneer which have been made in a flavorful tomato based gravy. It tasted really good and if you want, you can eat this as a side dish instead of gravy.

6. Jalebi and Rabdi – The last dish we ordered was none other than Dessert, because no meal is complete without serving a sweet dish. So we decided to try their famous Jalebi and Rabdi. Rabdi is a dish which is prepared quite often in North India not only during festival time, but even on a daily basis! The creaminess of the condensed milk teamed up with layers of cream will ensure your taste buds start dancing after each bite! The mini Jalebis are sweet and the taste of the Rabdi balanced the dish perfectly! I am not a fan of Indian sweets, but this one will be added to my ‘Need to Eat More Often’ list!

Punjab Bhatti Da Dhaba is located in Kanachur Complex near Kankandy Junction. It is bang opposite Sulthan Gold, so I am sure you won’t have a hard time finding the place.

We all enjoyed the food a lot. It filled our stomach and at the same time, we did not feel as if we were so stuffed that we could not even let out a gasp of breath. The food is healthy, delicious and definitely tastes like home cooked food. The menu is endless and you will want to visit more often so you can try each of the dishes. Let it be appetizers, breads, gravies, rice or dessert - Punjab Bhatti Da Dhaba has it all. Do visit soon!

We were happy with the Zomato App. We received an e-mail once the order was placed; the Delivery Person was very courteous while speaking over the phone and at the time of delivering the food. Hope to order again from Punjab Bhatti Da Dhaba - either through the App or by visiting the restaurant.

Thank you once again for making us enjoy our special Navratri Lunch. We will definitely remember this day.

I had ordered through Zomato. I ordered for dal and phulkas. Very amzing food. Well balanced and I though it would be oily. But to my surprise it was very well cooked. Also the chutney they sent was delicious. If this qua;ity and taste is maintained, this will be the best north indian food here in mangalore.

Tawa, Tandoor, Tadka! This is what I would define a proper Punjabi khanna. For the vegetarian lovers, look no further - here is Punjab Bhatti da pind that brings to you delicacies that our native to the north.

The soup did its magic that is served in hand picked crockery served with nacho chip. Mlore will also get to see a unique platter that is full of papad and unique dips. The cuisine is modern and authentic too.

Try the kurkuri Bhindi with Salan, it's crispy, it's spicy, it's tangy! The makki di roti and Sarson da saag served with butter and gud or jaggery is basic staying true to its origin. They also have chutney pulav which is worth a try.
Dont leave the place without trying their Lassi and jalebi rabdi.

The place is easy on the pockets while remaining uncompromising on the quality. The staff is very friendly and the service is prompt. Mloreans, this place is a haven for vegetarians.

Amazing food!
Quantity was great..
Honey mirchi potatoes were awesome, must try!!
Rotis were good, we ordered Palak paneer along with it, which was one of the best Palak paneers in Mangalore!
The best that I liked was, the pudina chutney served with it, may be a little too green( may be the colouring), but the taste was pretty amazing!!!!! It’s complimentary with the starter most probably.

Super packing with good taste. Without any second thought go for it. Even though they takes little time to prepare, the quality and taste is good. Others are not neatly packing. Food quality is not changing even after packing in Aluminium foil.
