Great Mangaloren Catholic cuisine. All the regular pork fish and chicken varieties are available. Also steaks too are available. I enjoy the typical Mangaloren fish thali with pork
Food was awsme ... old tradetion style masala...
But the problem of hotel s it's not clean.. do sme paint job all the walls hve become black n old...
We were really happy with the portion size and the itemz in the menu card. We simply went on ordering items from the menu when we realised that they were serving pork and beef for less than 100 Rs. We really enjoyed the beef chilly and the pork vindaloo here.
Visited this place since the Periera hotel was closed. It is equally good since we were supa hungry.
Masala rice comes with rice, a gravy of the meat you order, pickle, vegetable. Good Portion though.
We ordered:
Chicken masala rice: Chicken gravy was the usual manglorean one. Didnt like much.
Mutton masala rice: Mutton bone chunks with not so tastly gravy.
Pork masala rice: Yummy for pork lovers.
Beef masala rice: Traditional style gravy..goes good with beef.
Pork chilly: A must try.
Beef Roast: Could have been slightly more roasted. But the flavour was yummy.
Chicken chilly: Made with chicken bone chunks. Must try for chicken eaters.
Squid Masala fry: tasted good.
Neer dosa: costs 8 bucks but its just half of its actual size made at Mangi homes.
Overall good food at low budget. 900 for 4 ppl with stomach full lunch.

This is by far the cheapest place for meat lovers , but make no mistake it's taste is umatched . No points really for ambience cause there is not much to talk about it . Coming to service it leaves a lot a room for improvement . But the main part that is what they put on your plate is another story . They serve one of the best sukkas and chilli in town be it chicken or beef . Pork pepper is my personal favourite. They aslo occasionally serve exotic meat .
If you are a die hard non-veggie like me.. Do visit this place.. They serve great pork and beef.. The prices are incredibly low. Sukka, Chilly, Gravy etc.. Meals are also at very low prices.. Ambience is not great though.. Its a simple place.. Hygiene can be better though... Overall a great place to eat pork/beef.
For the pork lovers out there !! 😂 is all I can say!! The pork dishes here are amazing!! Love the pork chilli here!! Being a very old hotel the ambience has not been improved at all!! A take away is preferable than a dine in

That being said, this is a small joint that looks like it night be run by a family. One of the few Ines that sees beef and pork, which isexactly what you should go there for.
Beef had too many bones, still tasted good. Pork was beyond expectation, I didn't expect a little joint to do Chinese pork well, but they exceeded my expectations. On the oily side though, so you might wanna do something about that. Couple of cokes to wash it down and you're good.
It's a simple hotel. normal plastic chairs. No AC. But The FOOD seriously AWESOME. Variety of choices. Food tastes like home. Very reasonable price. I keep of going there at least once a week.
Fried rice and pork fry were very good.Meals and beef chilly was okay..But all in all ,it is a very good restaurant

If you are a Non-Veg lover. This place is HEAVEN. Fish, chicken mutton , pork, buff, rabbit . Yes. Even that. I had buff chilly and Paratha. It was amazing !

Best nonveg food. Since it is a christian restaurant you will get all the nonveg dishes from pork, chicken, mutton, beef and varity of fish, prawns, crabs etc. It is located beside Father muller medical college entrance. All the items are like home made one!!!!
I used be regular to costa hotel but since 3 months they have changed the management now a lot of bengal staff who have no clue of mangalorean dishes. The food does not look good and tasty , the kitchen is dirty and so are the staff. many people come here for authentic mangalorean dishes which is not available. Dont be fooled you will be served with chili powder with meat, the hotel manager who seem to in his 20's knows only one language and is rude who looks drunk all day. I will never go this hotel till they improve . A inspection by the corporation health department is required.
Typically old school restaurant serving good old manglorean and mix of street food . Economical on your pocket
Always I look up for mangalorean Catholic food. Fairly good always but u will find some tiny cooking errors like half cooked, too spicy, spoilt coconut used etc. Lack of parking space is the biggest headache. But overall good
