Loved the food here. As all say, the place is bit costly. Service is really good. The atmosphere in the hotel is good, altough improvements can be made. Overall we had a great time. During rush hour, parking may be a problem as it gets full.

We ordered a bunch of starters and dishes which were delicious in their own way. the variety offered was commendable. the ambience was peaceful with very polite staff. Thyme is definitely a go to place for group get-togethers.

Good food, but kinda pricey. Amazing ambience (near the windows). Decent service. The menu is kind of misleading where the labels "oriental" and "continental" is slapped everywhere, even for Chinese items. Vegetarian and non vegetarian items are not clearly labeled, had to clarify it before ordering. The food though was amazing, the quantity and the quantity is great. Thyme Rice with White Sauce Fungi is highly recommended!

Very delicious food with many options, and the ambiance is so good. I liked the service here. Staff and servers are so humble. Gulab jamun cheesecake is a must try. It was blissful

Great experience overall. The service was super fast, perhaps because we visited quite early at 12:15 PM. The servers and staff were very courteous and humble. The food was good, but I wouldn't say the best. I'd rate the food 4/5. The mocktails were amazing though. We got coconut pannacotta and gulab jamun cheesecake which were also very good. Parking is not a problem as I the restaurant is situated in a mall which has paid parking. The ambience is also amazing as there's a huge glass area letting in a lot of sunlight.

Nice family restaurant in Bharat Mall building. Food was excellent and even the dessert. Service could have been little faster. May be it was crowded time so its understood. Liked it.

It was a pleasant experience at this place. We were very hungry when we visited and every dish we ordered at this place tasted good. Food here tastes way too awesome !! Kids friendly dishes too . Especially those appam n stew is a very good tummy filler . Atmosphere is also really good . They make a room for breast feeding mothers and all the staffs are helpful. Service is good untill there is a crowd . They need to improve upon handling the crowd . When the tables get filled the staffs don’t get back to the people Who are waiting for the bill or pending orders . We had to wait for 40 minutes after our lunch just for the mock tails because nobody went to check with the counter if it was ready . And inspite of requesting they failed to get it soon . Handling the peaks hours is what they need to improve . Apart from that it’s a 5 star for everything

Great place, great food! The service is really on point. They have some authentic Mangalorean options along with some good Asian options. Loved the chicken wings in oyster sauce!

Excellent service. Just 5 star service to the staff. Who made us feel like home all through our dining experience. Extended family outing, the staff were courteous and extremely polite. Cleanliness and hygiene in current circumstances were just spot on! Definitely enjoyed the meal, the starters were a great suggestion from Suresh, who served us well. Just fabulous!! The ambience, the food and the staff, are very pleasant. It's a perfect family Restaurant. Its a link of the Spindrift Brew Pub on the upper floor and you get the same house-brewd beers here (Ask for the Bar-Menu if not given). The Menu has Continental, Indian, Chinese and Fusion cuisines. The staff are really helpful in describing the food, and the service is also fast. I enjoyed a scrumptious dinner with Belgian Wheat Beer, delicious starters and Chicken Ala Parilla (main course). A delightful Continental food experience.

A decent family fine dining restaurant. Located in a mall. The restaurant serves various cuisines. The menu is huge and has also a child friendly menu. The portions and good and the prices are decent. The food was tasty, some of the drinks were amazing. The staff are friendly and the place has various kind of seatings.

One of the best fine dinings in mangalore. It's also well known for their variety. They have Indian, conti and Italian. The blueberry cheesecake here is definitely a winner 😋

Twice found hairs ....first time they replaced food ...second time they said" sir just small hair" ..not a major issue though ... Chalta hain attitude not accepted.

Visited this place for lunch , right before the afternoon break time , but the staff were so welcoming and amazing service . <br/>For soup we tried the Olive Garden ( my fav ) , lemon coriander soup , and chicken manchow . <br/>Starters we opted the threaded chicken , which was delicious and served with a hot sauce . And stuffed mushroom for veg option which again was flavorful. <br/>For mains we ordered thyme rice with white sauce fungi ( mushroom based dish ) the quantity and taste both was good . The Chinese American chopsuey which was okayish . <br/>But overall the experience was really good and will definitely recommend this place .

Sophisticated ambience, loved it. Great food great taste. We tried their jerk chicken, mixed grill platter, Hyderabad chicken and coconut pudding. Jerk chicken was appealing to the palette.

Excellent Food. Chicken Kadipatta is must try . Mongolian noodles were too good and we got it less spicy as we asked them to do so. Even chicken salad was provided to us without shrimps as we requested . Baby was given the baby chair immediately. No fuss and the staff obliged to our requests . Very good service . Price too is worth and reasonable 🤗

So I visited this place along with my friends for dinner today and sadly was very disappointed with the food.The thyme special rice was nothing but a bad version of 'jeera rice'. The Thai red curry tasted as if made without coconut and with tomato ketchup. The pesto pasta we ordered was very dry and tasted just like Alfredo pasta.To top it all the food was served cold.

The restaurant is located in the topmost floor of Bharat Mall. Best for family lunch/dinner. Very polite staff. Murgh Patiala is a personal favourite - must try! But the Hyderabadi Chicken was disappointing. The Naan however was soft and buttery. Hoping to visit again!

The place is amazing for a small gathering, bebit formal, friendly or family. The decor and the set up is very classy with nice soothing music in the back ground and wide spread tables give you and your group ample private space. The staff is very friendly and is prompt in service and taking up suggestions. Food is delicious and just the right quantity and beautiful presentation. The price is slightly towards the higher range but worth everything.

Well maintained, clean and tidy.<br/><br/>We started with chicken Manchow 🍲soup, it was decent and fine to taste. Followed by soup we ordered bang bang 🐔chicken based on their recommendations, but the 🐔pieces were not sufficient for what they charge I felt. The plate on which they served was almost one fourth empty. Taste wise it was fine again I'll say.<br/><br/>Finally we ordered chicken yangchung rice 🍚, imagining the quantity should be sufficient for two. Taste was good, nothing to say more than that. But again quantity was an issue.<br/><br/>Overall my feel is that, the quantity what they serve and charge is disproportionate. They need seriously look on to it. Else I would say its all over priced.<br/><br/>Service was good. Overall experience was average one.

Had taken my family on a Sunday night to this place and I must say it was one wise decision !! Though it’s a fine dine, you have this friendly vibe around the place which all the more makes you more comfortable. “Anda Churmuri” was ordered out of curiosity and it was worth it ! Very innovative starter . Additionally, all their tandoori items are very well marinated and rich in taste. You must try their Jodhpuri kebab if you want to experience the same !! For main course, we ordered Appam - Mlore curry along with Kudla style biryani and this was a complete and sorted dinner plan for us. Loved the place, keep it up !!

Went here to meet a few school friends as we wanted to try a new place. It's not very new but as we don't live here in Mangalore we haven't got the chance to explore it and hence we thought we'd strike that.<br/><br/>The place is huge and also a lot of seating is added in the waiting area. The staff greeted us warmly and escorted us to the table of our choice. As soon as we sat down we were handed over the food and bar menus and I had already done my homework and had decided what I wanted to try. We placed an order for their wheat beer and I ordered for chicken Ala parilla. My friends ordered for Mongolian noodles and leefu noodles. The beer was good and tasty and I've tried it before at their in house brewery, spindrift and I've liked it then as well. The chicken ala parilla was good I would say. It was nothing extraordinary. I've tasted better continental platters for cheaper prices. The mangolian noodles were okay too. The leefu noodles were a disappointment. It was a greens based noodles but the taste of the greens were overpowering the dish. It was slightly on the bitter side and not at all appetising, it honestly felt like diet food.<br/><br/>I liked the ambience the most and the service too. Their beer gets brownie points in this review. Food is just okay is what I felt. For some reason I didn't hear any music in the restaurant which is okay but if it was there it'd be worthwhile. The restaurant offers a scenic view of the city's skyscrapers which is a good thing.<br/><br/>PS: Actual rating 3.5!

I ordered Murgh Banaresi kabab.. they didnot pack it properly.. When i asked why he said you talk to zomato only bluntly.. Also they gave 4 small piece for a 250 Rs dish.. Pathetic<br/>

A nice place with a good combination of Ambience and food<br/><br/>Went there for lunch on reaching Mangalore... The place has a nice pretty setting...we ordered the prawns ghee, chicken Mangalore curry and chicken ghee roast... The prawns and Mangalore curry was just yum... The ghee roast was bit on the salty side.... Even with such a heavy meal we decided to try the desserts... Had the Tiramisu which had a nice kick :) the staff here is very prompt and helpful...<br/><br/>For a nice meal with a nice setting, Thyme has the right rhyme...<br/><br/>Happy Eating!!!

Excellent restaurant where you can visit with your family. Have been here multiple times for party. Great food with awesome staff who explains you about the food that you are ordering so that you are sure of the taste that you are about to order.

My first 2 experiences with Thymes was good, however my 3rd visit last weekend with my friends was disappointing. The Basil chicken we had ordered was not fresh and on top of that the item was not hot nor warm. I didn't expect this from a fine dine restaurant like this. We come to such restaurants expecting good food, but this has disappointed us. The mocktails served was also not great (green apple lemonade and lychee lagoon) having less fizz and more sugar syrup. However the pasta was a relief and tasted good.

I’m disappointed after yesterday’s visit. The food and the steak that I used to come often is not the same. Chicken wasn’t cooked. And the lime garlic sauce wasn’t great. I hope next time visit will be incredible how it used to be earlier. I’m literally having stomach upset since last evening!

It was my first time at Thyme. The view was lovely. Since my tummy was full too soon, I could try only a few dishes. Starters were delicious. Overall the food is satisfactory.

Had been here a while back along with family. Friendly staff, good food and a good ambience. We tried tulsi paneer, fries, quesadilla, Beijing fried rice with black bean sauce, dal makhni, rotis, paratha and whiskey. I loved their dal makhni and tulsi paneer. Surely will recommend it.

Tried the chicken keema rice but it was not worth the money. It had plain rice topped with chicken keema masala which was not at all sufficient for the rice provided , although the keema masala was good but when mixed with the plain rice provided doesn’t give you the actual taste of typical keema rice which we get in other places in mangalore.

People who go gaga over the ambience and finger licking yummy food this is a must place to visit.<br/><br/>Manchow Soup, Chicken Lollipop with Garlic Sauce was heaven indeed. Thai fish cakes, Appam, Butter Kulcha, Murg Lahori were at their best with the taste.<br/><br/>Desserts : New York Cheesecake, Gulab Jamun Cheesecake and Coconut Panna cotta<br/><br/>Staffa were really friendly.

Not a value for money place .food is ok but the cost is no t in par. Service is very good , well mannered staff. Place is good. Over all rating I want give more but , I guess beverage section needs improvement.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Firstly, the waiting area inside the restaurant stinks mainly because the toilets are in the waiting area and they are never kept clean. Secondly, the indoor air conditioning is kept quite warm and even on repeated requests we were ignored. On persisting, a waitress flatly refused to turn up the air conditioning. Thirdly, the desert served here is horrendous. We ordered sizzling brownie and I am sure the brownie served was as old as the restaurant. On the bright side, the food was decent.

Portion is quite good and tasty as well.<br/>Crispy Threaded Chicken: An oriental dish which is my kids favourite. Thin slices of chicken fried with crispy noodles. Comes with a spice thick sauce.<br/>Paneer Satay with Peanut Butter: This attractive dish is quite good in taste as well. Yummy food.. Whatever we ordered didn't dissapoint us! Staffs wer friendly and service was good. Place is very well maintained! A good place to take family out.. A bit pocket heavy types i felt, oder than that noo issues 😊

First time i came here it was disappointing but that was when it first opened. But i have been here twice in last 15days. Both the times i had a great dining experience. Food was good. Service was great. Very well priced. Pleasant and friendly staff and the owners are always on the floor making you feel very comfortable.<br/>Best Lemon coriander soup i have ever tasted. Squid Ghee Roast cannot get any tastier than this. <br/>Chinese Autmn Choupsey is a must try.

Thyme is one of most aesthetically pleasing restaurants in Mangalore. I love their cilantro rice with sriracha sauce. The chai potli creme brulee did not have an overpowering tea flavour. Their paneers are super soft and delicious. The chimichanga was crisp and the filling was well seasoned.<br/>The staff is friendly and helpful and it makes for a very pleasing dining experience

Thyme is newly opened restaurant , quick staff and the ambience is average and food is also average and I did not like anything much from what I ordered in their menu and it’s too crowded !

My most recent visit to Mangalore saw me grab a bite at Thyme with the family. It was hard to believe that just about a year ago, this was the same happening brewpub our circle of friends had met up at (Spindrift). They've certainly done a great job with changing the look of the restaurant to cater to family dining. We ordered some lemon coriander soup, fish fingers, Chinese wine serenade chicken and chicken kadipatha. Enjoyed the delicious food and was impressed at the express service we were lucky to have.<br/><br/>Thyme also boasts of a dessert counter at the entrance (I guess aquariums have gone out of vogue now :P). Their Rocky Chocolate mousse is a must try. Just the right amount of sweet served in just the right quantity. The gulab jamun cheesecake is a delightful fusion of the two sweet dishes. The bits of gulab jamun ensure that the original flavor isn't lost while serving up a refreshing new flavor in a cheesecake.<br/><br/>Overall, a great place for a family dinner or to celebrate any occasion. Good variety in food and drink to choose from too.

The restaurant serves really good food.<br/>They have very good service and ambience too is good.<br/>Large variety of Mocktails, Juices and alcaholic drinks including their own brewed beer is available. For a starter, bbq chicken wings is good and for a maincourse, Chicken steak with veggies (Lemon garlic sauce) is good!<br/>I would recommend you to book or reserve a table as it's quite packed at times.

Amazing place. Chai Potli Creme Brulee is the must have delicacy. It has the perfect balance of crustiness of the caramel layer and the sweetness of custard underneath it. Might not be finger lickin good, but definitely spoon lickin good. MUST TRY!!

I've been to Thyme several times in the past but my lunch experience there yesterday has literally forced me to write this review!<br/>The food was really really good. The paneer in Hunan gravy was amazing! The spicy jalapeño poppers were also great as usual. What made the meal really epic was the Oreo choco mousse at the end! It was the lightest and airiest mousse I've ever had in all my life! It had just the right amount of sweetness too. This dish isn't on their menu though. I really hope they make it a permanent item on it.<br/>Speaking of the service, the staff was extremely courteous. The food arrived at the table pretty soon too.<br/>I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness though. One of the napkins on our table was dirty and we had to ask for it to be changed. Also the glass that contained the epic dessert had a ton of fingerprints and a bit of dried chocolate sauce on the outside. I also noticed a string of pasta on the flowers kept in the centre of the table.<br/>Despite these things I still highly recommend this place and hope the management looks into these little issues to help maintain their standards.

Thyme is located in Bharath mall.. food was great. Lots of options to choose. Food quality and taste is awesome. Ordered for broccoli salad, the veggies were fresh! Choupsey was simply brilliant. Ambiance is lovely. Overall it was a great place. Service and food presentation was great.

Taste is nice, ambience is fabulous, they gave me fairly quick service in peak hours. Definitely coming back here if I visit Mangalore again. 😀

Been to the restaurant thrice now, the ambience is good with a lovely view of our city. Courteous staff and lovely food. Cocktails were also decent. Tried the basil fish with rice, kadipatta mutton, jerk chicken and more. Overall a nice place for eating out with family and friends.

Had given a 4 star initially for the ambience and food , reduced to 2 due to very slow service..the food was good , ambience outstanding but service too slow which loses the charm.

We enjoyed a very quiet lunch here. I was surprised with the ambience. Some one has taken pains to select the picture on the wall the decor and the cutlery. It works well together. We ordered Chinese. They have a variety to offer. I left it to the steward to help me. Kadipatta paneer and panner sate with peanut sauce was just too good. The dim sums elegantly presented. Noodles just great. We finished with the green apple cheesecake. I need to visit again.

They also have an in-house bakery from which you can choose a lot of pastries and deserts. The staff is professional, very patient and helpful as you bombard them with "what-dish-is-this" kind of questions. Once the food arrives, you enjoy every bit and you'll feel that food is worth the money.<br/><br/>We ordered a birthday chocolate cake which was soft, creamy and tasted heavenly. It was freshly baked and not an "already-in-stock-cake". We loved the Veg Manchow Soup, The Paneer, Babycorn starters and the Cilantro rice. The Choco Lava pastry desert could have been better. I wish they had more ice cream variants in deserts. Also, like me, many people love their food with great music so I'd suggest them to upgrade to a better playlist.<br/><br/>Definitely a delighting experience, will be visiting them again for more!

This is a very spacious restaurant. Beautiful interior. Some honest feedback about food and service... Please don't serve sea food which is not fresh. We are in coastal region and the least we expect is fresh sea food. I had to wait 45 minutes for 1 starter. And this is when hardly 6-7 tables were occupied.It took 20 minutes for additional bowl of boiled rice while my parents were patiently waiting with their lunch half finished.<br/>I want to visit this place again as I love your other place spindrift . Hopefully I will have better experience.

Thyme is a restaurant owned by Spindrift and located a floor below it. The restaurant has a brilliant decor and great service. The place gives off really good vibes as you enter.<br/><br/>The restaurant has a big menu spreading across cuisines. The food we ordered included Jerk Chicken, Thyme rice with white sauce Fungi and the Mexican Chimichanga. The Jerk chicken was simply amazing. Every part of the plate tasted delicious, the succulent chicken in Jerk sauce, the big portion of Mash potatoes and the veggies. Coming to the Thyme rice with white sauce, the plating gets all points. The rice was flavorful, along with the thick and creamy mushroom sauce. The Chimichanga was pretty good, though did not meet the expectations created by the other two dishes. The portions served were sufficient, no issues there. We did not get an opportunity to try their desserts, but would like to the next time.<br/><br/>The restaurant is a bit pricier side, but not too overpriced. I especially liked the monochrome pictures that they've hung across the restaurant and the nice views of Mangalore, when sitting next to their glass walls. The quality of food, the ambiance and the service are all top notch, and is worth all the money you pay.
