It's one of the best budget friendly restaurants located near the famous Jyothi circle of Mangalore. People from all kinds of job backgrounds and many students come here to have lunch and dinner at an affordable price.
The famous item which is served here is the Charcoal Chicken.
My personal favourite dish here is the egg masala which is just only 30 rupees! Along with 2 or 3 Kerala parathas which each cost just 13 rupees! And is enough to satisfy our hunger.
The soup especially the hot n sour chicken soup is yum , which consists of lots of chunks of chicken and is really good for people having cold or fever.
Overall, a good restaurant with a budget friendly and a yum menu although it's non-AC , it's a good place to have a quick meal with your family when your travelling.

I have ordered online many times from Food Junction. Itās consistently good. I remember when Food Junction was open in Mangalore, the rolled shawarma is best when eaten in hotel itself, however delivered one is also not so bad.<br/><br/>It cannot be denied that with any restaurantās online order, the food quality will reduce, because it will cool down, and also it is wrapped in plastics and containers, but this place has nonetheless good food, that remains fresh after 20-30 minutes of preparations also.<br/><br/><br/>Itās value for money. And the quantity is not too much or too less. For someone who eats a little, that is me, itās the perfect portion.

ok ill be stark honest here! I was a damn regular at this place when I was new in mangalore.. and don't get me wrong, the food is absolutely great!<br/><br/>i used to spend 250rs plus tips every visit! and that was like thrice a week?! but what did I get after a few months? the service was so poor even when I was tipping the waiters regularly! they made me wait overtime, p.s. 45 mins for a shawarma is ridiculous! and another 30 mins for a damn strawberry shake?<br/><br/>when I politely tried to convey my discontentment, they were so rude I decided to never visit the place again. so there! I'm never, ever going back!

One of my favourite places to eat from when on a budget.<br/>Nearly all of their food is delicious, especially considering the really cheap prices.<br/>My most-often ordered combo would be that of egg fried rice paired with Garlic chicken or chilli chicken (which come with 4-5 big boneless chicken pieces).<br/>Besides that, their shawarma and Chicken biriyani is also very nice.<br/>I liked the veg-pattie burger, however they could increase the size of the pattie within.<br/>All milkshakes and juices are satisfying, my personal favourites being Mango Lassi and Oreo shake.<br/>The only disappointment so far has been the Charcoal chicken..which I've heard mention of from many others. The dish is good enough but it is far too less in quantity when you consider the price for it

I ordered 2plates chicken garlic and 1 plate chicken shezwan on 7th December from #Food Junction , # balmatta through zomato for a small get together with friends. We very disappointed as the quantiy was very less , there was just 3 small peices of chicken ..which was not even sufficient for a kid. I had to make arrangements for curry in the last minute as the guest were waiting for food. When i rang up the #Food Juction the staff were not willing to take up the responsibility.. instead asked us to contact zomato. If u are expecting quantity never opt for #Food Junction balmatta..

The food here was pretty decent according to me until the time i ordered in from here.<br/>-Things i hated- chicken kebab, chicken noodles- chicken had a weird smell to it and i could taste the oil in the food. Not a good experience.<br/>Also the cold coffee is very sweet. Maybe asking for a less sweet one would be a better option.<br/>-Things i really like- CHICKEN CHARCOAL. This is a must try dish at this place- with 2 pieces of oita bread and 2 big pieces of chicken and salad as a side. Delicious, every single time.<br/>The ambience is not so great as there is a lot of rush, so up keep of the place isn't looked into much.<br/>Prices are affordable.<br/>Staff is friendly.
