Review Khasak Restaurant - Mangalore

I was sick when I got there so I couldn't eat much. But they were extremely hospitable and made a lemon juice concoction to help me. I loved the way they designed the place, kinda psychedelic. My friends tell me the food was great.

Nice place for hang outs. Situated near to Lalbagh Junction this park- resort type restaurant offers a wide range of delicious cuisines for family get together and hang out with friends. Its a green area with lots of bamboo and huts along with a small house for family dining which is having air conditioned hall. Nothing more to say but its an experience.

Wow.. this place is totally amazing.. the ambience here is awesome.. people who just want to relax amidst the nature, you must try this. When you enter this place, you will find it relaxing and soothing your mind. You have private tents, 4 seater. If you are planning to celebrate someone's bday or anniversary I guess this place should add some points for the surprise elements. The food quantity was enormous. The quality is outstanding. We had mutton grill which was so juicy and tender. The mutton just melts in your mouth. Biryani comes in a tray I can say(😂) which can be shared by 4 people. In short value for money...

Good Ambience & Comfortable Area. Best for Partying. Food is ok for taste buds not something extra ordinary or great. Dont expect much from the food but atmosphere is quite enjoyable. A good place to hangout for lunch or dinner. 😍 night view with lights are awesome and also added artificial waterfall which makes atmosphere even more cooler. Selfie and photoshoot spots all over the place 😍

Amazing food taste with quality and quantity ! Said place for family quality time!.....few items are overpriced like juice,soup,naan! One of the must visit restaurants

Observed that the mgmt n staff were all speaking in Malayalam, we decided to order Kerala styled dishes. They were delicious n well made. Maybe this should be their core cullinery items rather than Arabian dishes.

Awesome attendant, quick order taken, standard time for parcel to take place and meanwhile was given a drink and place to wait. Food was awesome, special with nice parking place outside. Only concern was quantity of food and little highly prized.

Got a good ambiance. But food i would say is ok. Have got a good variety of south indian dishes,mainly thalassery dishes. Fish meals was ok. Puttu, niracha kozhi has to be tried out as it is really good.

The ambience is really great particular at night. The food is wonderful but the major problem is the server's over here do not know local language and they struggle to speak English.

Comparing to other Restaurants it is Little more expensive.. But Nice Food... And more Fun, enjoyment is there... 😍😍😘

Nice place to visit and enjoy with our frnds and close ones.but food is little costly.but good place .in would have enjoyed the place more if live music was played.

If you are looking for some good South Indian food then you must definitely give this a go.<br/>Newly opened near Lalbagh area, this place is located next to commercial apartments.<br/>Ambience is good in the day and looks better at night with all the fancy lights.<br/>Choices of food also decent and prices are adequately charged too.<br/>The thing which stood out was the customer service which we received. They really have an eye for detail in that regards.<br/>Ordered for a chicken bellpepper curry with naan. And since it was a hot afternoon, watermelon juice and lemon juice was ordered for drinks.

This place has got a beautiful ambiance. I had visited this place twice and I was really upset with the quality and taste of food. Bit overpriced and not yummie. And even the service is very slow. I will never suggest this place for anyone. The only positive thing about this place is the beautiful ambiance. I suggest the management should take really great steps to improve the quality and taste of food.

Too much to wait for tasteless food, nobody cares<br/>for good service. Ordered that attiangila biriyani it's 1500/- not worth a price at all.<br/>The waiter said it's good and fills four people. So we trusted. Bad experience.

Ambiance was good and again company of mosquitos was wonderful. I suggest you to take mosquito racket as well. And also lot of money because they sold a biriyani which was unworthy in terms of both quantity and taste,, they call "ATTINGAL BIRIYANI", which is just enough for 2 people for a whooping price of Rs. 1500

Terrible service. Ordered food from here and they made me wait for 2 hours. They kept telling that the delivery boy is one the way, when I called them for the third time they are telling that the food is not available. Pathetic

Ambience is very good...tasting is average...but the service is worst of all...highly nt recomended unless u want to spend 4 hrs just fr dinner.....soo worst service..and veg platter is the worst..soups are also not upto the mark...naan is very very thin and nt very tasty...

Really great place. Includes a wide variety of choices from the Indian Cuisine itself and also an exciting set of combos. The food is absolutely mouthwatering and the biriyanis are a must-try. <br/>Also includes a picturesque exterior and is perfect celebrations.

The outdoor hut style is wonderful. But I would suggest it must be maintained well. I found too many mosquitoes that drifted away my interest on trying some more food at the place.

Nothing ‘KHAS’ in this Khasak....! A place Wer food is not worth the money....Service runs at a snails pace...Tried some Chinese and Indian n both were equally disappointing enuf to ruin our Weekend...At the end of it d beautiful Ambience is the only thing tat keeps ur heart lil content but d tummy knoweth it’s pain...So next time If u think of a romantic date wit ur loved one or an outing wit ur friends..Think twice ( boiiy u don’t wanna spoil ur date do u ?🙈)

Food is yum but its not worth the wait. U can chillax but if u r like really hungry then its not the right place ..they literary take hours to get any item orderd.

Amazing ambience and some great Indian cuisine! Places with both going perfect is really hard to find! But I guess now we know! <br/>It’s very true that an ambience can add up to the whole food experience! Cause it’s the ambience that I’m in love with about @khasak_manglore_official! <br/>But yeah what’s the point of an ambience if the food isn’t that great! Right !? It’s got both of it right! <br/>Perfectly cooked MALAI TIKKA KEBAB, <br/>crispy MUSHROOM FRY, <br/>And the flavourful taste of spices of MALABAR CHICKEN CURRY accompanied with some PAROTA (they have wheat parota too for the health conscious people out there) <br/>And the creamy tender coconut pudding to end an amazing meal<br/>for all the malayalis out there and those who love kerela cuisine, @khasak_manglore_official is the place for it!

Visited khasak today♥️<br/>Lovely ambience ♥️ .. the whole setting is simply lovely .”kozhi naracha biriyani” was what I ordered .. it was simply superb .. taste wise and quantity wise I’ve never got such heavy quantity in manglore before really appreciate that fact ..<br/>The puttu biriyani not upto the expectations but yeah it can be made amazing if it’s a little more spicy .<br/>Good experience and a great place for foodies and ambience lovers

The restaurant is set up with serene theme and so is the ambience. When it comes to vegetarian food it may be good choice but not the best. The non vegetarian food is just fine - ask for speciality of the day and that's normally good in taste but little expensive. Not all non vegetarian dishes are good so may try your luck. If you happen to visit here... ask for tender coconut shake, really refreshing, not so sweet. You may also like Kerala wheat parata very unique at this place available on weekends. From Price point - an average value for money.

Pathetic service, only decor is nice!! Service is very slow. The food was bad, the server did not even look at us. We left without feeling full. Definitely not going back.

Had been here with my family.. very well done place.. an old house converted into a restaurant..ordered grill platter for starters and for mains we ordered mutton gravy with paratha.. platter was too good but the quantity was on the lower side.. probably over priced for the quantity..the paratha and the mutton was too good.. in this part mutton is usually not that great as the meat is too hard and chewy..ambience is good but this ambience for a bar would have been great.. service was good.. would surely visit to try their fish preparation some day

Pleas dont go there as the service is very poor and food is also not that good. The only plus point is about the place which is a little okay but i think its not worth the price......................

@khasak is an experience. It is about the ambience as well as the food. The outdoor hut style seating to the indoor waterfall, everything pleases the eyes. For those you like privacy, seperate indoor seatings are also available. <br/>The hospitality is overwhelming. The restaurant is more about non- veg food, a feild they specialise in but the vegetarian food is also good. <br/>Among vegetarian delicacies that I liked were- lemon coriander soup, paneer tikka, mix veg and some really nicely cooked butter naan!

This was my first time at Khasak. The experience was memorable.<br/><br/>AMBIENCE: The cozy huts, rusty wood walls, fancy water fall, birds tweets and the beautiful lights. Recommeded to visit during night. The place is peaceful and it's away from city noise.<br/><br/>FOOD: It is a Kerala cuisine Restraunt, it may take time to know the dish. You can always ask the waiter or google to know them. Most of the dishes have these Kerala ka taste and style. We had ordered biriyani and the rice was from Kerala.<br/>The bummer was that they didn't have Lime Soda, as a fact they didn't have any soda or coke. They call themselves as toxic free, hence they don't serve this. They suggested lime juice instead.<br/><br/>SEATING: The seating was comfortable. The following are the seatings arrangement and key factors which we noticed.<br/>Hut at the entrance, because it's Cofy.<br/>Single Huts, because you get the privacy feel.<br/>If you like the sound of the birds tweet, then there is a hut just adjacent to the bird nest.<br/>If you like the sound of the water fall then, there is a place near water fall, it is an outside seating.<br/>If you want air conditioning then, there are seating inside.<br/>They have total capacity of around 150 seatings.<br/><br/>SERVICE: The service is slow because they prepare the dish once you place the order. However, if you are out on a date then, you would get to spend more time. :)<br/><br/>PRICE: The place is not that expensive.

AMBIENCE : The ambience here is just amazing . The main thing that attracted me to this place. Especially late evening.. the lights just make this place perfect . <br/><br/>FOOD: The food is purely Kerala cuisine. I had to literally google the name of each and every dish. But the taste is great. We took a Kebab platter which was delicious. We also took appam and chicken curry <br/><br/>COST: The place is not very expensive

Have been to this place many times . I personally love this place . Everything about place is beautiful , a old style house with traditional interiors & outdoor seating with lawns and cabanas , fish pond and lighting . <br/><br/>Ambience - outdoor seating is outstanding and it’s lit at night but only draw back is mosquito bites otherwise it’s cool . Indoor space is very cost and dark . I personally get suffocated . However I give ambience 4 star <br/><br/>Food - depends on what you order . Thier kababs and starters are good but grilled prawns & the whole chicken ( name I don’t remember) is awsome . I choose veg gravies over non veg , they are really good . Butter naan , rotis are very soft and tasty . For food 3.5 stars <br/><br/>Service - very poor , need to improve . 3 stars <br/><br/>All together a great dinning option in mlore , very silent and calm place .. with greenery all around . Good fo family dinner , get together & small parties.

Place is really cool, a recommended place for dates. Ambiance is too good. Food was not that great. We tried pasta and choupsey. It was nice.

Worst food ... No proper service and it's a waste of money for a very little quantity of food .. half of the thngs in the menu are not available

The food could feature on fear factor, the service - pulp fiction, everything here was an example of a place about to shut. The guy who took our order was rude, the food was just wrong and didn't belong in a restaurant.  Half the menu isn't available and the other half is complete sewage. Take her here if she's clingy or you're no longer attracted.  I took my Mum there, now we speak once a month. The last 'K' in the name is silent for sure.

Good ambience and once you have a mediocre meal you will visit again.Bamboos make the outside seating really unique.The lightings are done in a nice style.<br/>We had a kozhi neracha biryani ,which was quite good.Fish fry of anjal was bitter and was intimated to the captain but no action came up.A tiny piece costed Rs300.Which we had to forcefully eat.<br/><br/>We went on to have some juice , icecream and<br/>move .<br/>Our waiter who served food was very warm but order taker need to be more sober and well mannered about the nuances of the restaurant service.His casual approach will make the future of the joint bleak.

The worst food ever with expensive price mutton biriyani costs about 1500rs.The service and ambience is good.Better to avoid main course here.

Really good ambience, food quality is average and quantity is good, mostly Kerala and North Indian cuisine.Place is little far away but not very difficult to find, Happy dining.

I really like the place and surrounding it was breathtaking. It's spacious and away from the city noise.<br/>As we didn't have time so we parcel a panner dish and a mix veg curry. Both were yummy and with sufficient quantity. We also had a chicken curry with lacha paratha which was equally great.<br/>Will definitely visit this place for its beautiful ambience.<br/>Happy eating
