Review Magzika Beach Shack - Margao

This beachside spot in Goa is like many others, but the food is something else! Of all the food items I had the calamari fry was just perfect - so tasty. The Chonak fry was the highlight, seriously finger-licking good. The service was quick, and the staff were really friendly. A great place to hang out with friends. I highly recommend it for some seriously delicious food and a good time!

We went there for an evening dinner. This shack is very well lit and has a good ambiance. Their food is pretty OK and had nothing great to rave about. They are decent in service as well. If you want a pretty looking shack, this is the one to go for.

They play great music, the beach is clean and the shack serves great food.

Magzika Beach Shack, situated at Betalbatim Beach, offers a charming beachside dining experience with both indoor and outdoor seating options. While the indoor area provides sheltered seating, the outdoor section allows guests to enjoy their delicious meals while being mesmerized by the stunning sunset. However, it is important to note that the beach shack remains closed during the monsoon season. The service at Magzika Beach Shack was satisfactory, and the food was equally delightful. On the night of our visit, there was a live music performance followed by an absolutely stunning fire show, enhancing the overall ambiance. The chicken sizzler, seafood sizzler, and peanut masala chaat were all delicious, delivering a satisfying taste experience.

An amazing place to spend your time at the beach side at Majorda. It's located just behind Nanu Resort. The place has a good ambience with live music mostly in the evenings. Staff is very friendly and helpful in suggesting dishes as per your choice. Not much crowded during the day as we went for lunch. Fast delivery of orders.

Lovely food, ambience and wonderful live music. Magzika is known for its Sea food. The Vegans in our group were also very happy. The choices were limited for them but food was delicious. The sea food options are very good. You have choice of selection and way of cooking. Lovely and efficient service by Mr. Ankush. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely visit again and you should for sure try this place.

Killer place. One of the best places in South goa. Try out any food item, let it be the simplest ones like French fries and the amount the efforts they put into making the dish is incredible. Prices are superbly affordable and couldn't have been a better first time experience in South Goa. I'm blown. Music. Ambiance. Efforts. Taste. UNMATCHABLE.

This beach shack is different from what we see in North Goa, situated on Betalbatim beach this is a place to relax, enjoy beach waves, quiet ambience, good food (only starters). Service was good, they have limited veg options but you can try Veg Xacuti here. We spent all evening here & it was amazing.

Best place to visit and food is at reasonable cost and taste is also awesome , there is no place cheaper in cost than this and with best ambiance and staff was very co-operative and friendly , they will not treat you like any different than any foreign customer who just seeks money . Very nice people , we had Ross omelette and banana pie with pina colada it was all worth , the Ross omelette was top notch with perfect spicy punch and sweet side with pina Calada, next time will visit this place for sure

One of the more cleaner shacks and it shows. The photographer savio took our photos at a reasonable rate. The sheesha person Rahul and the waiters were welcoming and warm. Positive experience.

This one's got to be my favourite beach shack in South Goa. We've had so many memories here. During our time in Betalbatim we spent quite a while here. This is where we decided to have our new year celebration and it was amazing. We stumbled across this place one evening and loved it. The vibe of the place, the view and the food is really good too. We loved the masala prawns a lot. They play really good music here. Service from everyone Prajay (the owner) ,Georgy, Rahul was great and they were really friendly. The new year celebrations were great with DJ. We were looking for a calm , peaceful beach and Betalbatim definitely ticked all requirements in our checklist. Thumbs up to this wonderful Shack! I hope to come here sometime again. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who's around this area.

One of the Best shack to enjoy sunset from. The beach is less crowded and you can enjoy the sunset in peace. Although the music of surrounding shacks is disturbing 😂 Try to make the best of it.

This place was truly amazing! Such beautiful lighting and live music being played as you face the beach. The food is also incredible. Staff are also really sweet. The whole place is really romantic! If you go there on a Saturday... You witness a live fire show which was extraordinary. And also a cracker show which was just the perfect end to a beautiful night. Absolutely loved it!!

It's a pretty decent place. Do try their masala prawns - out of the world! They have a unique dish called - jacket potato. Tell them to add some masala to it, just a little, you will thank me later. Cauliflower starter was also good.

One of the best beach shacks both in terms of pricing and taste of food. You can get a table right on the beach with a candle light. The owner of the property is so friendly he will fullfill all your request. It's a must visit. If you are in goa you have to visit this place.

We were staying in a resort very near to this shack. On our last day in Goa, we skipped restaurant food and thought to explore beach side shacks and arrived here. The shack is on beach and we were here for dinner. So they have placed table and chairs with candle lamp. Surely, one can have a romantic dinner by the beach.<br/>Food: We ordered Chicken Tikka for starters. It was delicious but chicken was little dry. In main course we had Dal Tadka and Tandoori Roti and they were good.<br/>Service: Good.

To start with a nice smile and welcome by Prabhu who waited on us. <br/>Shisha - we had the pan flavour. Very smooth hookah<br/>Drinks - had whiskey and cocktail<br/>Food:<br/>Spring rolls and onion rings: you can very easily say they were freshly made. Very nice spring rolls with a delicious spicy dip. <br/>Pomfret fish - tandoori cooked was suggested. Turned out pretty good. Very tasty<br/>Price - reasonable considering all that we ordered. <br/>Music - this would be a nice topping on an already good ice cream. Really good soothing music when you are sipping your favourite drink and looking at the beach.<br/>Also the only crowded shack we saw. That must also say something about the consistent quality Magzika offers. <br/>Overall a very good experience.

Love this place. This our second visit in a month. The food is excellent, coupled with equally great service. Steward Suraj you did a great job in serving us. Ordered quite a few dishes as we were a group of 12. Every dish tasty. Thoroughly satisfied with the food, service and and location. Spent the whole afternoon till evening. Must visit place. Had a morning breakfast on this shack on new year and ordered fresh fruits. I wanted to start my day with fresh fruits. After eating some fruits, I saw that there were dead ants on apple. The staff was sorry but I started my day eating ants and also they charged me for this. Very bad experience.

A perfect place in betalbatim beach with great food,music, ambience and service. You can enjoy candle light dinner near beach. Try all the goan cuisines here they are delicious

Amazing food is guaranteed at this place. The owner is such a fun guy, he'll make sure you have an amazing experience. They pay lot of attention to the plating as well, would actually surprise you that it's a shack and not a fine dining restaurant.. We probably hit this place at least twice a month.. So it's a definite recommendation.

First day I came to this beach and sat on this shack and thank god I did. The food is best here , fresh tasty and value for money . Chinese food is yummy here . Friday night Live music was awesome . Staff is courteous . I see them entertaining little kids coming to their shack with their parents . And the kids seem happy with the staff. This is a beautiful place to celebrate birthdays , as I saw some foreigners celebrating a birthday party here and they were happy about the food and service . I gave it 5 stars all for food service and staff .

Good place to hangout in the evening to view the sunset and spend the night. Food is good, but can be better. They should also try to add more dishes in the menu. Slightly overpriced for the quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. However, more preference is given to foreigners though major chunk of the business is from Indian customers. All in all a good place to visit.

Very average and over priced menu for the quality of food. Tried prawns in butter garlic and did not like it also the beef was not great. Not recommended. All they want is to extract money from tourists. Quoting exorbitant rates for fresh catch. Avoid.

Wonderful place to chill and eat. Must visit if travelling in Goa. The owner is very friendly and will make sure that no one has any complaints from this place. The vibe is extremely Goan. There is live entertainment and beach parties organised by the shack from time to time.

Tried a whole lot of sea food here. One thing to say I was not disappointed, everything that we ordered was wonderful. The prawn starters, the lobster main course and the dessert. Excellent place. The ambiance looked great. Looks great in the evening with all the lighting. The music was different than normal (in a good sense). They had a live performance as well. There is a vast menu so, the choice you have is great. The food was tasty. Worth a visit for sure.<br/>Will surely recommend it to everyone who visits south Goa.

Amazing place delicious food. Loved this place and we are glad that we found this place. It is on the beach . Coming to food ,there signature dish fish finger ,calamary ring is great .within 5 minute of ordering this dish , it was at our table. Blazing speed service...overall must visit place. Do visit once and experience it.......

Okay place with nice location near the beach with sand on floor sitting not classy normal chairs. Food and staff not that great. place is in budget around 350 per person. Good for evening hangouts.

One of the decent beachside shacks in Majorda area to grab a beer and chill. The food served is tasty . Fish dishes are recommended. The service is quick and excellent .The ambience is very nice and inviting.

One of the first few shacks as soon as you enter the beach. Staff are nice and friendly. Food was served at an average time of about 15-20 mins on an otherwise deserted late evening of Tuesday in March, when there aren't many people. We tried the chicken sizzler, Chicken Spring Rolls, Chicken Masala, Roti and steamed Rice etc. Chicken Masala along with Roti and Steamed Rice were very well made, the other dishes were average. Overall a good, hospitable place. And yes they do have showers to get the sand off + they play good music on Pretty big JBL speakers with awesome sound clarity

The closest beach shack to where we were staying - run by friendly people (special mention friendly Henry).<br/><br/>The beach is lovely, and they do a very nice selection of fresh catch<br/><br/>We ate 2 lunches there - both massive, both massively satisfying<br/><br/>The sea bass presentation specially, was amazing<br/><br/>The pomfret rawa masala was cool too<br/><br/>Be prepared to deal with hungry dogs and mildly rowdy inebriated people, but good place to spend a large portion of an October morning<br/><br/>Big warning - toilet unusable!!!!

Best of all. Our best friends hangout during winters. We had blast on 31st dec night. Cafreal steak specialty. Full Fish Tandoor is the best item. U get it with rice and french fries. Very tasty. Lovely food, reasonable price and fantastic ambience as the beach is very close. Service is fast.
