Yesterday being a Monday my regular joints were closed, so tried this place for a change. It's good, food was delicious, especially the chicken starters, tandoori is noteworthy, succulent and juicy. Seafood was good too. Owner is a cyclist so it struck the chord.
This has been a go-to place whenever I visit Madgaon cause of their one dish mainly Chicken Black Shanghai. It all started 2 years back when I visited this place for the first time on my one-off visit to Goa. Don't know if this dish existed back then. All we asked is if we could get chicken tossed with black bean sauce. But the new black Shanghai has those same vibes and is even better.
Amazing taste and portion size ! Great ambiance and widely spaced! There are different sections as well for family, couples and friends. Biryani is a must try here. Fish Thali is also good. Reasonable prices and quick service. The staff is polite and really friendly. They are also available on Zomato and Swiggy! Alcoholic drinks are served here. Must go if in Margao.
Hands down the best restaurant out there in Margao. The food is remarkable and worth the price! I have been visiting this restaurant as well as ordering food from here since past many years, the quality and the taste has always been the same, at the top!
My friend took me here along with two of our colleagues from the other state. They wanted to try some squids. But the butter garlic squids had excess salt in it. Initially we didn't say anything as we too work in hospitality. But even our chicken masala had excess salt in it. On top of that, we later found a piece of steel wool in squids. We brought both the problems to our servers attention but his response wasn't satisfactory. We didn't want to make a fool of ourselves infront of our friends so we paid the bill and left. The four stars are for the hygiene and quick service.
Food was good. Variety of options are available. Cozy restaurant though we did not try the AC section of it. Reasonably priced. Overall good experience.
Overall food is really nice, but it gets crowded a lot even during the non busy hours. Recommended Dishes to get are Chicken Biryani, Chicken Sukha, Chicken Chilly, Ros Omelette, Veg Somasa, Bhaji with pav and any type of Fish Thali.
The best food at 3pm in Margao hands down. Looked all over to finally find this place. Looked small but there is a staircase that leads to a whole new area.
The food however is at a total different level and the portion size as well as the quality is simply amazing. Must go to place in Margao.
It’s a great experience. Amazing food and service. Taste is good but expensive. Parking may be an issue over here. The ambience over here is also good.
