MTDC is a very good resort and only preferred resort in Matheran. Here are positive points
1) Co-operative receptionist & resort management staff.
2) Ambience is very good, spacious and very good to walk during evening time
3) Foot quality is very very good (Veg & Non Veg).
4) Clean wash rooms
5) You get what promised
6) You can go to parking as from the back gate as its very closer.
7) Though there is no network, you can use Wi-fy for easy online billing.
8) Only resort you can trust in Matheran
Improvement needed
1) Mosquitos net is required to windows
2) Sometimes, bed sheets are dirty.
3) Though restaurant quality is very good, serving staff dont reach people easily as they keep on talking themselves behind restaurant. You may need to call them frequently for additional foods.
Nice in-house restaurant within mtdc matheran premises. The spacious restaurant can cater to around 50 customers at a time. The service is quick and food is delicious. The walls of the restaurant have photos of their other properties in Maharashtra - gawligad fort, ellora caves etc. It gives one ideas to visit the next mtdc resort.

Food was decent. Had pithla roti and paneer jaipuri for dinner which was decent and a fulfilling meal. Ambience and service is good
Nice cozy restaurant with good indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. Open to all tourists. Food items are limited and also taste and quality can be improved.
