Review Buffet Hut - Mohali

They have a good variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks that are delicious. However, I did not come across any signature dishes or standout items that set the restaurant apart from others of its kind. I really enjoyed the crispy corn, jaljeera and noodles. They offer unlimited soft drinks, but it would be nice to see more drink options, such as mocktails, on the menu. Additionally, the dessert selection was somewhat limited, with only the ice cream really standing out as a standout option. Despite these minor drawbacks, the quick and courteous service provided by the staff was much appreciated, and the peaceful ambiance of the restaurant made for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, I would say that the food was good but not exceptional, and there is room for improvement in terms of drink options and dessert selection.

It was a great experience for us to visit the place even after 5 years. The quality and variety of starters was at the par. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a wholesome experience.

Best restaurant for buffet in mohali both veg / non veg and very delicious snacks. Good for the small parties, I went there number of times when I want to eat something different to avoid same routine. Genuinely PAISA WASOOL BUFFET. Staff is very good and fast service. Best thing : Unlimited soft drinks 😀

Food was good as per the buffet but dining can be improved, they should consider more space as it's too conjusted and if it's the weekend then you have to wait for your turn and it can go up to hours of waiting. Overall good food, good service

A good place for group lunches or dinners. They have an assorted buffet menu and very fast service. The prices are reasonable too in comparison to other similar buffet restaurants in the Tricity. They could however, add more items to the menu. Place is a bit tiny, and given the huge crowd on weekends, its always safer to reserve a table beforehand.

I am a regular customer of buffet hut, I only want to say that the behaviour of the staff and the manager as well is very very bad, i dont know about the owner of the buffet hut sec 70, if he reads this message then meet me, I want to say to him the kindly change your staff if he really wants to promote their business. now I am going to Patiala branch from Mohali, there will be good food and good staff over there.<br/><br/>At last, I don't recommend any of the people to go in Mohali branch and waste there money.

Last Saturday, I make a visit here with my family. As my friend suggested me this place. First impression was quite good just because of interior and crowd. Let's come to the main part of this restro that is food. Great thing is that a price of both veg and Non-Veg buffet is same. So one can easily enjoy the food which they served at affordable price. Firstly, they START there serving for veg starters and after that non veg starters. Veg starters was really good as compared to non-veg starters my stomach was start paining after eating there non-veg starters so I leave that thing. Secondly, in veg main course they are serving dal makhni, veg pasta, saag, mix veg and paneer which was not eatables. On the otherhand, let's talk about non-veg buffet in that they are serving mutton curry, chicken curry, butter chicken which I rate them 2 out of 5 because mutton was not fresh and not properly cooked. They are loosing quality these days, i think more crowd is issue, Service person wants get table free so they do not serve well. Need to remove spices and oil from starters

I have been to this place several times in the previous years. Visited once again during their monsoon offer on a sunday eve.<br/><br/>The place was fully packed especially due to their reduced prices.<br/><br/>Same old dull kinda ambiance.<br/><br/>Service- Good but can be improved during rush hours.<br/><br/>Snacks-  1. Non veg :- Garlic chicken was bang on point. Chilli chicken lacked the flavour. Tandoori chicken a little uncooked and too chewy. Chicken kebab was the best appetizer among the non veg options.<br/><br/>2. Veg :- Paneer tikka was served cold. Corns were not crispy. Manchurian was a little uncooked but bearable. There was one more item kebab which i didn't taste.<br/><br/>Noodles can be avoided. To my surprise the mix sauce pasta tasted really well.<br/><br/>Soup :- Chicken soup was 6.5/10<br/><br/>Salads :- A few in number.<br/><br/>Main course :- Dal , mutton , rice were good . Rest all the items i couldn't taste because i already was busy filling my tummy with chicken and kebab ( paisa wasool :p)<br/><br/>Coming to deserts :- They have 4 types of ice cream out of which vanilla is preferable. Papaya was not fresh. Gulab jamun was yumm. Decent place for a get together.Can improve on the dessert quality as cakes were very dry, so called caramel custard and pudding was stale compared to other desserts .Very less options left for a sweet lover if they are not such a fan of these rest included things like cut fruits, one Indian sweet, ice cream. Brownie , which was tasty .Regular dishes were put in the buffet for main course. Starters for non veg buffet was good, adding a fish starter to the starter menu will make it excellent.Veg buffet can have few more starters as rate didn't do justice for it.Non veg buffet has way more choices. Drinks were reasonably priced not sure of the quality though.We had a good time there. Recommended for friends and family get together in affordable budget.

I hv been visiting here from many years. But water they serve in mineral water bottles is not mineral water. When asked for sealed water bottle they charge us extra for that. They said we serve RO water in mineral water bottles.<br/>

Visited this place many times.. Good variety of delicious starters.. Usually there isn't enough appetite left for the main course... However the main course is quite delicious too. However desserts don't have much variety nor do they have a very good taste.

This was my first experience at Buffet Hut, it was pathetic. The food tasted actually worse than I had thought. The chicken was stiff and not up to the mark, tandoori chicken wasn't juicy. We didn't had the main course because the experience was really bad. Now, I would prefer Bbq Nation over Buffet Hut.

Was a customer of there's since 2015. The quality has been degraded over the period of time. When it comes to pricing, the food is okay to be very honest.<br/>The staff makes everyone eat so hurriedly. My plate was just half and was sitting back, the waiter came and took away the plate assuming I was done. They don't let you sit relaxed and enjoy the food. Probably in every 7-10 minutes, we were repeatedly asked if we are done.<br/>That was my last visit over there<br/>

Having buffet at this franchise ( earlier there is one also in Chandigarh) since five years from now. One of the few buffet places in mohali which is pocket friendly and costs from 350-600 depending on the time and day you choose to go. This place is mostly crowded. The sitting arrangement is not really lavish. Though I don't see any speciality in their offerings, however the food is good. They have a mini bar too inside and prices of the same are around average.

We hosted a retirement party here for around 50 guests in the afternoon on 1st June. We were really impressed with the interiors in the private basement.<br/><br/>Seating is very spacious, nice and modern. Service was being supervised efficiently by Mr Rana and he made sure that everyone was taken care of. People loved their time spent here.<br/>The snacks were tasty and there was variety in main course.<br/><br/>Ice creams were delicious.<br/><br/>More importantly, guests were very well taken care of. Special thanks to Mr Rana.

Bang for every buck. Went for weekday dinner, reached 8 PM and the place was already occupied, escorted by manager to the tabels. In snacks they serve good variety of chicken but veg snacks are not that varietyfull, the service was superb with swift fillups. In main course I only had mutton masala, which was tasty n tender. The regular affair I.e roti, rice, salad, raita was also good. In sweet dish part Moog dal halwa n kheer was much better than western counterparts i.e cakes, brownies n tarts. The only concerned part is the seeting arrangement which was tight and cramped.

It’s been 2 years I left chandigarh but I could not find such an awesome buffet place despite being shifted to a much bigger city the national capital Delhi. 0.5 star is less even after such nice lines is because of few of the vegetarian main course which could have been much better. Given the price, the buffet seems to be quite reasonable. Food quality was pretty good with diverse maincourse and desserts. But if you compare it with the competition then I wouldn't recommend this place so highly mainly due to the quality of the starters. Also, the ambience wasn't enjoyable which felt a bit cramped up but then again for a college student with a bit of cash to shed off, this is the place to hog.

Its a good place very lively on weekends .... standard menu dosent change much .... starters r the stars of the buffet .. main course lacks a bit ..... the sweet dish section is the weakest .. thats the reason i took off 2 stars ..... nice place pay attention to the sweet dish section and it will b great

This is not the best place to have buffet although it has been named after it. Well there are no varieties of starters here. Also there were no good desert. The place is quite congested. Bad music. 3.5 only for the fast service and well co-ordinated waiters.

All though its one of the best buffet which is economical than other buffets.but still I will give it 3.5 coz in the evening tym when they have crowd around.....the quality starts to decrease......although i really like their service......there mutton is one of the finest thing

I visited the place last Saturday. It was overcrowded. The staff was good. The snacks were tasty and there's lot of variety for the nonveg lovers. But the main course was not up to the mark. Desserts were average.

This place is good, full marks for cleanliness, hygiene and service is also good. We were late, and thought may be 65% would be still be there to be served. Thats not the case, there was the whole list of items there to be served. either mohali eats late or buffet hut has no takers.<br/>lets try and find that out <br/>Its good : there is no doubt, the non veg platter was excellent and the items in the spread were superb too. The quality of starters have been improved as compared to what they served before. Don't like the main course as the variety is too less. Same applies to dessert.

I have been here a few times. The food used to be ok until, shockingly, I was served rotten chicken on last two visits. Food cost to price ratio should not be decreased by compromising quality to a non edible extent.

The buffet here is good and reasonably priced.. The best thing about this place is that it's never over crowded so if you have friends and family with whom you want to spend a great evening, this is a good place.. Went with my team for corporate team lunch here. Didn't like the service here as the waitors were not attentive enough. When we called one and pointed a table for us to get ready they declined it saying the AC is not working there. So we sat at a different table. Few mins later they started seating the new customers in that section as well. Found it a bit weird. <br/>Food quality is normal but not upto the standards of this brand. <br/>

Buffey hut used to be very good and affordable, specially for college students like me. But now they have increased the price of buffey (with a sad decrease in quality) and to top it all off, you can eat their for ONLY 60 MINS and not to forget their slow service which makes it impossible to eat properly in 60 mins.

If we divide the whole dinner in three parts first starters,second main course and then the customer service...I would recommend you try as the taste of main course and dessert is good but there customer service and communication skills of some of the employees are just not appropriate or polite enough.. the food gets 2.5/2.5 where starters were okays.... and 0.5/2.5 for the customer relation and service.... I have been here a number of times but this time I just could't stand how the employees communicated... overall its always been good except for today.....

A recent visit to this outlet, after years, was a completely wrong decision. Besides stale food they serve tap water in mineral water bottles.<br/><br/>They served tap water in unsealed Kinley bottle. On enquiring the same they immediately tried to replace the bottle saying that it was kept by mistake. Further they said that they don't serve mineral water in buffet.<br/><br/>I tried taking the bottle along with me and asked to issue a mineral water bill. But they refused and said that water bottles are not allowed to be taken out of the restaurant.<br/><br/>People beware!

Best place after the student offer. They offer all they can in 300 bucks. The staff is friendly. The food is okay .(You cannot expect better in 300 bucks ). Overall thumbs up for the price.

My all time favorite buffet in Mohali.I visited 4-5 times there. Very good service. Buffet was awesome. Maximum time i tried non veg there. Overall it was great dining experience and love to visit again and again.

A below average buffet experience. Went there with my family. None of the non veg starters were boneless. Atleast keep 1 or 2 starters boneless. Veg starters were just satisfactory. Service was poor. They just rush your plate with everything and then they are nowhere to be seen. Main course is decent. The best part was the desserts. Maybe because everything else was just below average. <br/>Try avoiding this place. Other places have better buffet at the same price. <br/>

Went to buffet hut with my in-laws, my school friend and her family. <br/>The price is economical, looking at the quality of the food served.<br/>The food is not very sumptuous and nothing to die/look for.<br/>Starters were good - Veg Manchurian, Paneer tikka. Menu states "veg salt and pepper" as well, but i do not remember being served that dish :( . Achari Soya Chaap was bad, may be because  i have never been able to develop taste for it.<br/>I liked the soup (sweet corn) and the salads, but the cream used in Russian salad was bad and my FIL threw up after eating the salad & my MIL felt uneasy. When we told the staff about it they argued and said nothing is  wrong with the cream all are eating it and it is absolutely fine. I think they should hire a person to look after these issues, as the waiters look after the grievances (give a cold shoulder and move on) and also look after payment collection. Since there was no senior/manager we knew it was futile to point anything to them.<br/>Macaroni salad was better than the pasta served in main course. <br/>In Chinese they served the same Manchurian that was served as starters.  Not a lot of variety in Chinese cuisine. focus was on Mughlai cuisine.<br/>Dessert - jelly, custard and kesar kheer were good. small pieces of pastries were convenient to eat for the kids. fruit cake was too hard considering the fact it wasn't eggless. Home made cakes are much better, fluffier, softer and tastier than their cake.<br/>If you have taste buds for Mughlai, give it a try RS 400/- (per person) isn't a bad deal.

With great hope i visited this place for lunch, but it wasn't a experience that i would cherish for long. <br/>Food was okay! <br/>Hospitality was pathetic, i asked for Wi-Fi and normal water but was denied both the times.<br/>In all it was not a great experience. Only reason to visit is that they got great discounts for students.<br/>#ffl

So I went to have lunch at BH 70 and the first thing I had was the chicken soup. After about 2-3 sips I noticed something unusual in my mouth and guess what, it was a copper wire.<br/>When we raised the issue to the manager,he told us to have the rest of the lunch and then summon him but the manager had run away as soon as we had finished our lunch. The highest authority at that time gave me a signed apology as the manager had gone. Please don't go this cheap place as there no value of a person's life. Also I don't get it from where do they have learnt the meaning of hospitality.<br/>The pic of the copper wire is below.

Not a good place for having a buffet<br/>Starters are not good at all,same is with main course<br/>And service is pathetic,the days whn it is fully packed u have to call a waiter like 10 times <br/>My last visit to this place was in October and I never visited it again after that because i was so disappointed by their service,no one was serving us starters after the initial round and we stood up had the main course and left<br/>I would not recommend it to anyone

This is a pathetic place with low grade food. They do not serve fresh food.They served me with packed fries from mc cain. I mean how could someone include that in a buffet.

Not satisfied with variety of starters and their taste. Price of buffet is light on pocket. Rest everything is ok ok. Moong dal da halwa is yumm.

A nice family place for sumptuous meals and snacks. Located a little away from the city centre but worth a visit once in a while. We tried veg buffet and all was good.

Everything was far better than BH 9, be it service, ambience, hospitality food or crowd.<br/><br/>Been there twice for my birthday treats, enjoyed the meals at fullest. <br/><br/>Unlimited soft drinks is a plus point for the ones who like to enjoy their meals with juice/drink. You can try Jaljeera as well and it tastes good.<br/><br/>Starters were good not excellent, which included thin crust pizza, American corns, paneer tikka, some kababs and some Chinese item may be spring roll or manchurian (can’t recall the exact thing).<br/><br/>Then there were soups, salads and main course. Soup was nice, great spread of salads had wide variety with aloo chat being the best. <br/><br/>Main course was lavishly spread with Indian, Chinese and Italian dishes. Red sauce pasta was best among all. <br/><br/>Wide variety of items in the sweets section included 3-4 kind of ice-creams with choco & vanilla syrup, cakes, pudings, firni, hot gulab jamun and gajar halwa. I was invited for a dinner here. Initial impression about ambience was good, except that the place felt a little too cramped. The appetisers were aplenty and their service was mostly good and prompt. The main course was not served which is obvious. I tried mostly non veg dishes including biriyani and mutton ragon josh. The food quality was good enough but nothing extraordinary. The price was on the higher side but considering they offered unlimited desserts and drinks, it was more or less justified. I won't advise against coming here but there are better and cheaper options out there as well. So choose wisely before committing.

Hello people this is the most truthful review. I was regular customer of buffet hut sec 70 mohali. Quality of buffet is very very poor. Snakes are of low grade quality and chicken is full of blood and bad smell.Recently it made me vomit and now i decided never to go there again. In veg snacks they mostly offer cauliflower gobhi in different variants and tasteless seekh kababs . Quality and taste of paneer tikka is pathetic. Its made of artificial milk and it smells bad . Moreover they serve stale food prepared 2-3 days before.Quality of snacks is very low and they are never fresh. Moving to mail course here dishes are OK. Moving to sweet section it is very very poor.Tasteless jelly low quality custard and poor quality ice cream is there and they charge 500 for veg and 550 for non veg. People please never go there. They also use chemicals and MITHA SODA in food so that customers should eat less which leads to severe stomach problems. GO TO BARBEQUE NATION OR PIRATES OF GRILL INSTEAD OR EAT CHEAP FOOD FROM HOUSE OF GOBIND BUT NEVER GO HERE. I am visiting them for last 2 years and now they offer poor quality and high price. Better go to barbeque nation before 7.30pm and eat discounted buffet  which is much better than Buffet Hut.

This is the place we usually prefer to go out with family. Value for money buffet. You get unlimited drinks that is what i like the most about this place. Food is also tasty. Good place.

We went there for dinner. We were totally disappointed. Snacks were not fresh. Chicken tikka  was dry . Service was poor. Salad was nice. Butter chicken was ok.

Value for money place...here you will get good variety of food in approx 400 per person for veg. Thumbs up if you want good food with decent rates.

Decent place in Mohali.<br/>Food is ok but not upto the mark. BH should add some more variety to non-veg snacks and mock tails .place is congested or foot-in is bit high.<br/><br/>Best of luck to buffet hut as I enjoyed my dinner with family and had great time.

I am fond of sweets. I love sweets, and when it comes to buffets, i always look forward to more variety, what actually frowns me when I see that they don't have anything in sweets but few fruits, small biscuits and one ice cream, basically just the simple sweet nothing mouth watering. <br/>Overall its good, but please have some quantity in sweet dishes.

Had great fun with family...moong dal ka halwa was d best...great food....n at teally reasonable rate..and even d service was very gud..overall had a very gud time.<br/><br/>

Best place to have buffet! Love their vegetarian food. Reasonably priced . For non vegetarians , chilly chicken and chicken souo is awesome. Must try!!

I was really excited about the restaurant but that went away soon after entering the restaurant. The seating is not so great,it's crowded. Taste wise it is really mediocre, though there is variety in main course. The biggest disappointment was the ice cream..... Ugh.... It was just frozen water... Wide variety in their three-course meal. <br/>We went for a birthday treat there, so it was fun .<br/>Taste-wise this branch is much better than Secto-9 Branch.<br/>Quality of food was good, and salads were the best.

Starters (non veg): Only chilly chicken was good. The crust was crispy, and slightly coriander flavoured. This gave a freshening taste to it. The other varieties of chicken were not properly skimmed and washed. I would suggest all to be careful tasting chicken here.<br/><br/>Maincourse: Hadn't tried many dishes. The fragrance and gravy was amiss in the biryani. It was all dry. Mutton rogan josh was okay. Red pasta seemed lyk an Indian dish, you get to much on tiny ginger pieces as well! <br/><br/>Desserts and salads: Desserts stole d night away. Every single dish was great. Salads were good too.
