Review Chhatwal's Haveli - Mohali

Everything you will love about Chatwal. The ambience, the waiters behavior is at par. Food quality is amazing but a bit costly. But the ambience and food quality justifies the price. They have 3 restaurant out of which 1 is street food service, in mohali.

Their taste is best for most of the recipes. Their paneer tikka masala, chilli cheese, kadhai chicken are best.

Nice family place . Ambience is quite okay. Food served is delicious. Do go for butter chicken even the chinese snacks are tasty. Service is overall good .

Food is definitely delicious but they take too long to bring the starters however the taste is worth waiting. I am deducting 1 star bcz they don't well pack the remaining food they'll simply pack in a polythene if you ask them so. Rest everything is nice 👍

Ordered shahi thali with paneer Kumbh kadhai and cream kuchumber salad. Bad preparation and didn't even send proper salad. Sent just some pieces of radish... Bad experience...

Yesterday we had a family dinner and the food was<br/>really spicy also the next day we end up having stomach troubles. Kindly improve the food quality. INDIAN food does not have to be extremely spicy to taste good. It meeds to be healthy as well.

Nice punjabi theme .. in food , paneer lababdar, malai kofta for veggies and rara chicken and chicken butter masala for n.veggies .. too yum.. one thing i miss is rumali roti .. should be there in breads.

Food was delicious. Service and ambience was also good.<br/>We ordered spring roll and honey chilli cauliflower as snacks which taste amazing. Cauliflower and spring roll were perfectly crispy.<br/>In main course we ordered butter chicken and paneer butter masala and trust me it was mouth watering.

With growing in modernisation also there are people who want to again get attach with the roots . Therefore the haveli trend is in full swing . Located in a gloomy market in phase 11 , parking is available as there isn't any thing more in the market , may be because we went for dinner . <br/>As when enters the place some how manages to take u back to old gold punjab . The interiors are done ok . Well we punjabis more focus is food . <br/>We ordered tandoori chicken. Nicely spiced marinated chicken cooked to perfection in the tandoori . It has that someky flavour served with onions & mint chutney . <br/>Also we got butter chicken take away with naan & lacha parantha . The semi sweet tangy tomato based gravy with chocken chunks finished with a ladle of butter . <br/>The naan was good but lacha parantha was a bit let down . <br/>Over a good experience but i feel its a bit more on the pocket taking in account the ambiance , location , taste & quantity .

Very bad experienced.I got n stomach infection after having food from dis place.They served very cheap quality food.dal makhani was worst it was unfreshed served.i won't recommend anyone to have food from here.Big nooooooooo.Best dhaba u want to try than khalsa phs_5,mohali.very good quality food dey serve.

Huge insect found in my food. The hotel staff actually blamed the waiter and shrugged off without a hint of responsibility. Please avoid eating here as they don't actually care about the customers.

Near to my place. You can order if you are craving for some decent punjabi food. Average food at decent prices. Okish to dine in. Have nothing extra ordinary or exceptionally good. Had bad experience once when I was served manchurian which was stale.

Food not so good. Very average. Delivered milk shake in bowl, which was very strange. Did not even gave the invoice for the order. Cost too high for the quantity and quality provided. Overall very dissatisfied.

They have gud food and taste wise is tooo gud i love this restaurant every time i'll go with this and i thank you to chef for preparation of this kind of food whether it is veg or non veg both are tooooo gud. people on web please go with this restaurant.

I found this place using Zomato App and it was worth the effort, there was a big smile on my face after i had the first piece of roasted fish at chhatwal's... definately the best place for fish in mohali plus the serve alcohol... A Must-visit place for Fish lovers. Thumbs up

Simple but tasty food.. good quantity.. but very stressed staff!! V non Co operative people.. so Do not expect any customisation or modification. . Just go with the menu ! Can try Sarson da saag n makki roti..! The stuffed kulchas were amazing

A nice place. The ambience is good, the food is good. I loved their Rogan Josh. The quality of mutton is high. Their service is quick. If you are more than five people, order bread basket that will serve all and you will get to have delicious breads including Makke di roti.

Visited this restaurant twice or thrice, I always find a rush at this place. Ambience is okay not much appealing. As far as food is concerned we always order dal makhni which is no doubt tasty and worth. Other main course also tastes good. In short I would say, family rest. with cheap rates, customer satisfaction.

I had butter chicken and butter naan when I went there, butter chicken is simply awesome , prices are a bit high than normal but food quality is really good and what should I say about the green chutnee superb man!

When ever I ordered food, they take a lot of time to deliver. Their quality is worse than one can expect. Last time I ordered from them, I found a beetle in the green chutney. I would not prefer to order again.

Ambience is fair with low light and light music but songs played are old ones. <br/>About food cheese chilly, dal makhni, butter roti, lachha paratha, paneer tikka butter masala are the best. <br/>Staff is generous and polite. <br/>In deserts prefer matka kulfi. Generous quantity.<br/>We have tried their daal makhni, which is good, kaju curry which is made in spicy gravy was a nice try, dum aloo kashmiri with sweet touch & kadhai paneer which was again nicely cooked and spiced... Best part, DO TRY Churidaar Naan, which is different and rarely found in restaurants.<br/><br/>Service is very good and their home delivery is also very good.<br/><br/>Overall, a nice place for typical Punjabi and north Indian food. :)
