This place serves you very tasty and authentic south indian food. We ordered masala dosa, wada sambhar, Rasam and trust me everything was damn tasty. The sambhar was also very tasty. Last but not the least Rasam was cherry on the cake. It was very tasty and tangy. One must always try their Rasam at the end....Despite having crowd the service was pretty on time and we did'nt have to wait for much time.....

Avin Karthik phase 5 mohali, amazing place for authentic south Indian food. I have visited this restaurant multiple times. They have a lot of sitting space on ground and 1st floor as well. Space is very neat and clean. I ordered a plate of Idli. It was so big in size and also it was really soft and fresh. Taste of idli was really good. Coconut chatni was okay okay but sambar taste was also really good. Also tried their special butter masala dosa and it was delicious and very crispy. Also staff was really helpful and cooperative and their services are super fast. Their filter coffee is awesome. Must try. Would surely recommend.

Really good place to dine with family. Awesome quality of authentic South Indian food. I ordered ring parota with kurma and butter paneer dosa. I would say both the items are worth to eat. Food quality and quantity is worth for money. I would recommend you to go there once if you want to eat south indian food. Even they also serve chienese food along with the South Indian food.. You can also taste idli Manchurian there. Which is a great fusion of indian and chienese food. Staff is really good... Service is also quick. Wait time for not more than 10-15 minutes for the food. Ambiance is good and staff is friendly. Well card and cash both are accepted here.

We visited this place to have some good South Indian food after having a very bad experience at Karthik Restaurant But after eating the food we came to know it the branch of Karthik itself! N we were fooled! But the food here is a bit better than Karthik! Its noly bit better not authentic and not even great! The rava dosa here is Crispy but the texture is not perfect! Veg korma was having better taste but not upto the mark! Sambar was less watery but still was watery! Parotta was better! Still not upto the mark I think Chandigarh Punjab disappoints when it comes to good South Indian food!!!

I recieved stale and cold food ... the food was like it was made hours before and not even heated before delivering .... the dosa was so hard to chew and vadas were so cold like taken out of freezer.... the rider took hardly 10 min to deliver the food and i dont think that in that time the food can get this cold.... i contacted the customer support on zomati but they now dont take any complaints regarding bad quality food.... such a bad exprience i had

We ordered mysore masala dosa and onion tomato uttapam.. dosa was not crispy as it should be.. sambar was awful.. uttapam was average..coconut chutney was fine.. and when asked for red chutney a baseless excuse was told by the server (lal chutney toh raat ko banta din me ni dete kyuki kharab ho jata hai adhe ghante me) 🤔 and when asked for a water bottle another excuse was given (yeh jug ka pani filtered hai) 😕 being a south indian cuisine fan i was highly disappointed here. 😒

The best place in all over chandigarh to have South Indian food. In the past one year, this place has never disappointed me. Be it their great customer service or the food itself. I have tried their vada, dosa, and filter coffee. Everything is just amazing. This have two outlets across tricity. The oldest one is in sector 47 which has been running for more than two decades. Avin Karthik is comparatively new but it is the same experience in terms of food and service.

Well I’ll say this place offers the best dosa in town, yes i mean it! Their dosa is soo crispy and especially the ghee dosa, I personally found it better than sagar ratna, and that ring paratha is just another good thing which they serve with that curry. Sambhar was so so and needs improvement, rest dosa has no match! But 1 problem is that you have to wait quite a long time to get your favourite dosa there, service needs to improve!

As a first experience, the place ambience looks decent. Ordered few dishes. a) vada- 4/5 b) idli - 1/5 was cold and looked like wasn’t freshly cooked c) sambhar- 3/5 d) onion masala dosa -1/5 no crunch and bland. I mean dosa should be crisp at least e) paneer onion dosa- 1/5 again same problem f) filter coffee- 3/5 g) service- 3/5 h) money- not much expensive but sometimes you really want to have good food that was seriously missing. Sorry but wouldn’t recommend as there are so many other places nearby !

In my opinion, this is the most authentic South Indian food in the tricity. My favourite items to order are podi dosa with ghee, filter coffee, paper plain dosa and idlis. Podi dosa - 5/5 - The podi dosa is a must try, since the dosa is crispy, with spicy podi filling. Paper plain - 5/5 - The paper plain dosa is huge, and quite filling. It's authentic, and literally paper thin and crisp. Filter coffee - 5/5 - The filter coffee is brilliant. You can always ask for extra decoction to make it stronger. Their decoction is fresh and a delight for coffee lovers. Ambience - 3/5 - the only lacking point. I don't mind the chairs, but the frequency of flies tends to get irritating. Staff - 4/5 - they have become better over time. The earlier staff used to forget orders at times or delay them. However, they still have room for improvement.

Normal eating place specially focuses on South Indian food. The sitting area is quite good. There is a room of improvement both in the taste of dishes and customer services. I would like to suggest to keep cutlery and napkins on each and every table so that we don't have to call the staff again n again. Coming to the food, we ordered Paneer Dosa served with Sambhar and Nariyal Chutney, Chilli Idli and Filter Coffee. I loved the coffee. It has a unique and soothing aroma. The taste was also really worth remembering. Paneer Dosa and Chilli Idli were average for me since I didn't find any extra ordinary taste.

The place is crowded by the zomato and swiggy folks. The dosas were awesome. Sambar was disappointing. When I asked for the chutneys they said in morning they serve only coconut chutney and other chutneys are served only in the evening. That’s quiet weird for a South Indian eatery. It (sambar) doesn’t have the authentic taste. Filter coffee was also not that great. They can definite do better.

Firstly, the packaging is pathetic. The ‘4.2’ rating is only based upon the dine-in orders. However, the food which comes for home-delivery is pathetic. The coconut chutney was sooo watery. I literally feel sick and nauseated after eating such an oily dosa for dinner. Please I would recommend NEVER EVEN consider this place as a delivery option.
