Review Bulkh Bukhara - Mohali

Nice place with Arabian theme i guess, food was good,tried paneer lababdar, quantity was little less as compared to price, but taste was damn good. Ordered again online on Zomato chilli cheese, it was tasty but quantity of paneer was less and more filled with vegetables. Tried their malai kofta, it was good, but i am not a fan of sweet gravies, It was heavy thou.

The search for good dining restaurant in Mohali led us to Balkh Bukhara. The photographs posted on internet were very attractive and made us decide to try once. Set navigation from home on the Google maps which led to back side of the resturant. Had to call them for directions. The beautiful ambience stuck the moment we entered the restaurant. Staff was polite and prompt in attending to us. We were a group of 10 people and ordered snacks (Dahi kabab, Soya kabab and gosht guloati kebab). the moment we entered, thinking it would take some time. To our surprise it was delivered piping hot within few minutes. Main course followed by sweet dish was also served very fast. Overall a god experience, will definitely come again.

This restaurant is situated at the main road while we travel from airport towards main mohali. The ambiance is basic giving a normal resturant vibe. The resturant smells like some freshly built structure. The food is good and so is the hospitality. We couldn't find any other place which was serving good food at 11:15. Most places were shut here in Mohali.

The peaceful place to dine. Bulk Bukhara at sector 79, Mohali is such a magnificent restaurant. The interior of this restaurant is admirable. One can go to have food with family and friends. This is also a good place to bring your children there. The food quality is quite good. Neat and clean place. All the service providers are well-mannered. Everything is well maintained in thi restaurant. This place is not over-crowded. Well decorated and we'll designed. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who want to relish the delicious food here.

It was a great experience. The ambience was nice but too silent apart from that food was awesome I really loved it. need to focus on the atmosphere to create some energy.

Enter this place and you will be WOWed ! The interiors are so soothing and feels like you are in a special/different place. Those chairs, wall mountings, paintings are just too good. Coming to the food, i don't have even a single thing to complain off. They serve lip smacking food and with Live Music - you just can't miss this. !! We ordered many dishes from Snacks to Main course and drinks. Dahi Kebab: They just melt in mouth , too good. Masala Soya Chap: Soft and tender pieces with proper masala and served with tasty onions. Kali Mirch Paneer: another lip smacking snack - soft and larger paneer pieces in white sauce. In Main course, we ordered the famous Dal Bukhara and trust me this is one of the best one can get. This is addictive ! Highly Recommended. Mushroom Masala: beain a mushroom Fan, i have seen only a handful of places which serve amazing mushroom and this place nailed it ! Again highly recommended. Shahi tukda: This made us nostalgic !! after many years got the same taste as my mother's kitchen ! A visit again is on the cards, Super soon ! :)

I think best place in mohali to go out with family. Sober family crowd. staff was polite . Try Dal bukhara and much tadkewala. Owesome taste. Overall very good experience

Great ambiance, tasty food and live music ! One problem though. Menu is limited. No salad option and only two types of Soup. I haven't checked non-veg menu but veg menu is limited too.

Brilliant serivce, kickass tandoor and mughlai food, good drinks, mouth watering Nan and rotis. Comfy,quiet and welcoming interiors too, good for a small family dinner.

A unique restaurant with main focus on the Mughlai cuisine. The ambience is good and staff is helpful. Sitting area is very cozy. They also have live music on certain days (especially on weekends). Although the menu is a bit on the expensive side, the taste of preparations is very unique.

The photo shows a classic diversion between the expectation and reality! The Gosht Galauti kebab was far from appetizing. For the amount of money charged for this kebab, it was absolutely horrible (as you can see in this photo).

Food is good, but they cheat on price, like water bottle price even 20 printed on bottle still they charge for same 30 and after it again calculate GST 5% on it. I talked to manager , they are saying we have restaurant price 30, I asked why its not printed on bottle than thay were speechless...

The Yakhni shorba had no trace of shorba or yakhni. It was a chicken soup like concoction with chunks of mutton. Chicken sweetcorn soup was not fresh amd was bland. Please improve

Being veg i have tasted like almost every veg item,, they all have a different flavour, not like some other resturants which serve the same gravy for all the dishes. One of the staff member who took our order was very rude and he started giving us tough looks when we said we do not want to order more food. He denied order on Zomato gold saying it does not work after 11 but without Zomato gold he said you can order while infact we asked him till what time we can order food. Very bad experience we had at our first visit to this restraunt.<br/><br/>

Balkh Bukhara is known for its rich non vegetarian options and I crave for its chicken all the time. The place is nicely decorated for a peaceful and low key evening with friends or family. I ordered Murg Bukhara all the time as it is their speciality along with dal bukhara. You might want to order butter naan but you must try their khameeri roti which is ultra soft and yumm with chicken. But do not order all your breads at once. 1 khameeri roti is equal to 2 big naans so keep it slow. Finish it with nice warm and yumm gulab jamuns. Their service is good too.

I really like the ambience and their Special Daal. They also serve Khamiri roti, however, its supposed be soft and theirs was not..!! Rest, its a good place to go out and spend some quality time with family..!!

Taste is good but quality is really a joke . Ordered half boti kebab 🥙 and don’t try to guess the quality,you will be disappointed for such a high price.

Ambiance is very nice, the taste of food is too good. Many a times there are live singers performing. The service is very good. You'll definitely love this place and the quality, taste of the food.

Disappointing experience..first of all they noted the order wrong and sent veg hot and sour instead of non veg hot and sour .. secondly the quantity was not at all satisfying for a full portion soup.. they sent it in a small box and the soup was so less that it didn't even look like a half portion of soup.. the quality was very poor as compared to price they charged.. the oil was floating on the top and it seemed like they have mixed boiled vegetables in water as the consistency of the soup was way too thin

The food is so delicious and the breakfast is mind blowing.Masala dosa and the masala chai is so great.Dinner is also fantastic.Staff is so good and the variety of food is so unique.

The food received was good in taste. The quantity per item is too less. I ordered half peshawri kabab plate for 300 rupees. Got just 4 pieces. The black lentil kali dal full plate was hardly sufficient for 1 person and costed Rs 300. Chicken Haka noodles hardly had chicken. Chicken angara full was eight small pieces for 450 rupees. A place I would never visit. All I heard abt this place went down after ordering a non veg platter and drink on the rocks. The platter so bland that we cudnt even finish it though we were starving and drink came as a slushy.

Liked their gajar ka halwa, the daal Bukhara and mutton. Nothing was really wow but overall decent. But the disappointing part was the quantities. With more Curry and less pieces in everything. The paneer, the chicken or mutton...all had less. I even asked the server before ordering if the quantities will be sufficient and he assured me it will be. In the end that was a big turn off and we were too late to order more.<br/>4. Overall they can easily improve...hope they do.

Located in mohali, it has a two floor seating with live music in basement. A decent place with live music. Service is good and prompt, decor too is fine. Zomsto gold was put to use here.

It was by chance that I went to this place. But the experience was good.<br/>Ordered Tandoori Chicken for snacks, it was nice and juicy. Just that the piece were small for the price we paid.<br/>Ordered Butter Chicken and Tandoori roti for main course. The butter chicken was really very tasty.<br/>The live music really added to the ambience.<br/>There isn't any other place like this nearby, so it attracts a lot of people. Went to have dinner with my wife on a festive occasion. The staff was so confused that they did not come to take order for 20 mins. When we were thinking to place full order, he insisted on taking soup and starter order and told that he would come later. The starters were served after sometime, but no one came to take order. We asked them to take order by literally dragging the floor manager to our table, and even after half an hour there were no signs of order being served. The food which came, had heaps of salt and was uncooked as well.<br/>To add to the courtesy, when we complained and said that kindly gave us the bill, the executive promptly handed over the bill even for the items which were practically not something that one could eat. Then on being asked, the bill was revised to starters and soup stuff. So entered the restaurant at nearly 9, returned at around 11, empty stomach and after paying for the starters that we had to eat while we were waiting for the dinner. Plus they threw away the not eatable food, leading to immense wastage of food itself.

Loved the decor and the service. Coming to the food I tried their dahi ke kebab and malai kofta with butter naan. Everything is out of the world and the quantity is more than sufficient. A highly recommended place to try indian or mughlai food in the tricity.

Ordered Gosht Roganjosh (mutton) and in that getting pieces of Chicken.. when complained about the same their manager name Nishant first apologised and after 10 minutes started saying it’s not chicken....you have complained about it get it checked in some lab... pathetic experience not at all recommended

So after hear quite a lot about this place i decided to visit this place ans now i can say that this place is one of the best fine dining resturants in mohali.<br/>The food, the service, the ambience is just great here. A perfect place to visit with family or friends for delicious food.<br/>We had kadai chicken, panned tikka butter masala, zafarani kofta, butter naans and every thing was soo good. Naan's were soft, chicken was cooked till perfection and planner was literally melting in my mouth. Overall as I said one of the best fine dining experience.

I recently went to this place. The interiors are really nice and have a traditional kashmiri touch. They've live music in the basement and bar as well.<br/>The staff is courteous and polite. I liked their mocktails.<br/>As far as food is concerned, I will recommend their Pasta, galauti kebabs and dahi k kebab. Overall it's a nice for family dinner.

The name of resturant is quite different as same the cuisine too. As I entered I was totally shocked so beautiful decor. The light music was on. Then I ordered virgin mojito it was amazing. Next I ordered Rara chicken. The gravy was something different. The quantity of chicken was good. I had great time.

Food was terrible. We ordered Murg Afghani and Murg Burra. Both was like they have prepared it a day before, heated it in micro and delivered.

Finally a fine dining restaurant in mohali. No need to move to chandigarh for live music and perfect ambience. Staff is also polite and humble. Must have panner tikka, dal Bukhara and butter chicken.<br/>

I love this place! The kebabs are lip smacking! The authentic chicken and mutton flavours and super good delivery. My so far experience has been amazing! A sure to go for non veg lovers😬

The dish is named murg makhmali kabab whereas What u get is not kebabs but Afghani tikka.

Very disappointed...i ordered dahi ke kebab and dal bhukhara and roti last night...the order wen it reached me, the box of the tikka was all open and they (tikka) were out of the box...coming to daal..it was so so spicy...i cant express in words...it seems the lal mirch was put twice...and the chappatis were also cold...... Heard it is a good place to order food but i was very upset... Dont feel like giving any rating to the restraunt..

Tasty dal makhni with rotis of good atta. Dal was packed nicely in a bowl instead of those polythin bags that some restaurants use and are harmful to health.

The quantity was too less.. In the menu card it was mentioned 3 pieces of chicken but when I opened the box there were only two small pieces of chicken. Which is very disappointing.

i ordered murg begam bahar combo as zomato's special offer was there. but pricing it so high for a meagre quantity and then offering huge discounts didnt work well. the portion was small. just apt for the after discount price. the quality is not at the par. I expected a lot from Balkh Bukhara but they couldnt match my expectations.

Totally mislead by the reviews.. was served a weird looking soup in broken crockery while the waiters didn't have much of courtesy... the seating was cramped as well! Had a disgusting time..
