Yes, u can get the best tandoori fish from here, non veg cusine are good. Bt for vegetarian, they can get best from other's. Desi punjabi non veg..go ahead

A must visit place for fresh chicken and fish snacks. Every item is prepared with daily sourced ingredients and taste is good. Chicken is also of good quality and juicy. They server tandoor items like chicken tikka, afghani, fish tikka and their desi ghee tawa chicken is also very famous. Price is a bit high for a street vendor.

4 stars just bcz of the food quality. Their tandoori items are top notch. Btw ambience could be better by adding artificial flowers, pots, fragrances.

Though I am a pure veggie guy, but I came here with my friends. Food served was very good in flavor as I could only smell. Service is very good and efficient. Dishes ordered were tasty enough. Inside furniture used is good. Decorated well.

Morning breakfast was so lavish and spread out that you have great difficulty in choosing what to eat and what not to eat. Despite this, what ever you pick up to eat gives you a very high degree of satisfaction and pleasure. Taste is superb.

Ordered malai tikka so kids at home could also eat fish ! It was spicy as hell . Restaurant refused replacement and blamed everything on Zomato . Never going back to them

Like dhabba fish? get it from here... though more then a restaurant its a bar - better word theka cz theres only men around lol with daru and chakna 🙈but anyways you get realy good fish here.. be it fish tikka or fish fried.....!!!!! For a fis to be good, it should be marrinated well....!! they fry fish outside the restuarant so you can see how the cook preparing it..!!! and one can ask for the recipie too 🙈 hi5 ..!! the taste is crisp and little spicy though but they serve a mayonese chutney with it which help reduce the teekha taste 👍🏻<br/>I mostly order fish from here<br/>Wil surely update about other things if i ll order anytging else in future...!!<br/>For now enoy fried fish here with some beer or whiskey ( you get it in good price )<br/>👍🏻

The name is quite prominent if asked in Chandigarh , used to be a shop when I visited it first around some six years back which was also a partial Tavern and now a dine in restaurant and bar.<br/>Chhatwal is known for his fish tandoori or fried both are lip smacking. It surpassed my expectations way above than what Makkhan daunt's for in Amritsar. Their fish is a local malli/ singhara which is succulent and juicy. The fried fish has a unique crispy coat of batter and at the same time its not drooling oil it is light and crisp.They also serve the main course which is also good tried their special chicken but nothing beats the fish which they master at.<br/><br/>Try their fried fish served with a dome of tartar dip and their tandoori fish with the pickled salad, kachumbar salad and an outstanding mint chutney. <br/>Its a big thumbs up to the fish , when in Chandigarh don't forget to get fishy at the Chhatwal's .<br/><br/>Bon appetite!!!

The only thing I would recommend any fish lover would be the fresh, crunchy fish pakodas served every winters. Haven't tried anything else but m a recent huge fan of the fried fishhy yummness that is there! A huge recommendation!

It was an all chinese order and all 3 points to the chef...the chinese is authentic and tastes superb. Manchow soup and hakka noodles are a must try. 2 points gone for laid back serving, hospitality, lost staff, hygiene and ambience.

I visited this place with some friends last night. The ambience is decent, nothing fancy. We ordered half plate Afgani Chicken, Mushroom Chilli Dry, Paneer Tikka Butter Masala, Karahi Chicken along with Jeera Rice, Veg Pulao & some breads. The service was okay. Among the starters Afgani Chicken was decent while the Mushroom Chilli was good. All of us liked the Mushroom and we ordered another plate. Coming to the main course the Chicken was good while the Paneer was atrocious. Nobody ate it. I didn't eat the rice & pulao so can't comment on that. The breads were fine. An average experience food wise, thankfully it wasn't a night to forget thanks to the fellow foodies.

Small place but good food.better than pal dhaba in chandigarh.try their fish dishes its amazing be it fish malai tikka,fish fry n fish masala.dal makhni is delicious. I also liked their missi roti.but one drawback of this place is that they have now opened bar in the basement so keep this in mind while dining with the family.otherwise value for money.

Best Fried Malli Fish of the town. Hot and crispy, with chaat masala sprinkled on top, it's served with green spicy chutney, grated radish & Cole slaw salad. A must have dish during winters. The Fish counter is on the opposite side, across the road. You can sit inside the restaurant or stand outside to enjoy the fish. If you want it to be packed, they have foil containers for the same. You get all the accompaniments packed along in good quantity. It is creamy from inside and just melts in the mouth. <br/><br/>Not to be missed if you love eating fish like me.

The food is good and the service is amazing. The staff knows how to tend to customers.<br/><br/>have tried the Tandoori Chicken, Afghani Chicken and the Fried Chicken here. Quantity of Fried Chicken is great, can serve 2 people, while the other two taste good but their quantity is not as good. Should try the Butter Chicken here!! <br/><br/>great place.

Butter chicken, tawa chicken, kadhai chicken are good and for single person they serve Rada chicken for ₹90 which tastes good but some times its too hard to chew. Overall its quality is good for people looking for low budget items.
