In a single word, it's ecstatic. The ambience is exactly as the name suggests. Located inside a park where there are lot of open sitting arrangements also available. Inside the Cafe there are books for every age, mood. Really good collection books. You can't open your laptop inside. It's all about food, books, ambience and good time. Food is exceptionally good, must try the chicken platter and Hunter Burger for Burger lovers. This is a truly a hidden gem.

I visited Cup and Kitaab with my friends on a Monday Afternoon and we had a great time all of us were chilling and escaping the summer heat spent almost 5 hours. I love how well this place is Curated, with littlest gifts from various artists and friends of the place. The books that we see here are the personal collection of The owners, and their daughters . Situated inside the park, you can easily cut off a little from Mohali's unbearably disordered traffic and its noise. And I found out about the Open Mics and Exhibitions (flea market) that are about to be a regularly happening events, I found out about this place almost more than two years ago and simce then i have been wanting to go and speand some time here, unfortunately i moved out of the city and i wish I would have visited sooner, as of now you don't get WiFi, they say talk to each other, but if you are alone, you may want to just grab any book and talk to it. I really liked the open space to chill and sit, the Host, Dhwani Khatter, had been very nice and she showed me all around the place, i even got to see the basement kitchen. We ordered Adraki Paneer with Coriander and it was so tasty, been travelling for few days and i just wanted to get Roti-Sabji as we say here, it was perfect paired with Cola! Only a little dissatisfied with chai not being on the menu 😂 but that is okay. Highly recommended to travellers who would want to find out more about Mohali-Chandigarh and establish connections with people around. Even the Menu you will see is made by the daughters of the owners, its funny and different, I enjoyed reading it out loud. I would also like to add something here, the staff, i think is very judgmental and invasive, this girl just keeps on staring and doing litlle giggles with here friends which i find very common in North India, i just want the owners to see to this and hoping next time there are a little more professionals found and working.

I had visited this place on 25 June 2023... i had ordered burger and Croissant...both were awesome... plus some interesting books collection.. best places to hangout with friends.. price is little bit expensive ... place location and atmosphere is beautiful..

Cup and Kitaab Phase 10 Inner Rd, inside Silvi Park, Phase 10, Sector 64, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab. This is an amazing place. Really peaceful ambience. Loved the positive vibes of the place. They have indoor and outdoor sitting space. There is small Library inside the Cafe which have lots of interesting books for books lovers. We ordered veg Biryani. It was served really hot with lots of veggies, gravy and also curd Rayta. Loved the taste. It was really delicious dish. After that we also ordered jaggery Tea also also cappuccino Coffee. Coffee was super tasty and strong. Enjoyed it. Also there was live music also. Staff is really friendly and cooperative. Owner is also very nice and friendly. Service is also super fast. Would surely recommend the place. Would surely love to try more dishes in their menu.

Such a beautiful and soothing cafe with lot’s of books and lip smacking food 😍 In love with their food and service. Very budget friendly. The food is amazing and delicious. The ambience is soothing. And surrounded in pretty park. Must recommended hidden gem in Mohali. The pizza and fish and chips are must to go for. And you’ll get craziest cheese pull with pizzaa 🍕

I heard a lot about the cafe and saw people post from here. Added the same on my bucket list. I love the ambience of the cafe. Surrounded in the park and with a lot of books it was perfect. 🔸Place - 5/5 The cafe is renovated and they have done a great job in doing so. I love the lights they have added on the roof. The entrance is quite fascinating and they have the cute benches. Definitely they will be booked in winters😅. The tables, chairs, antiques everything is giving the cafe a vintage yet elegant look. 🔸Dishes- 5/5 There menu has book vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We had ordered Alfredo Pasta, Paneer Tikka with Pesto Sauce and in drinks Oreo shake and Frappe. Everything was mouth watering. Paneer was soft and flavorful and the sauce retained its taste and complemented each other. Same with pasta the sauce was very rich in flavors. The preparation and presentation was great. 🔸Service - 5/5 The place was clean. The service was quick. If my home is near the cafe, this will definitely be my go-to place for work from home😅

The food especially the pizza and pancakes were very sumptuous and delicious. We enjoyed alot. Definitely worth giving it a shot. I bet you won't stop coming back.

Cup and Kitab has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Chandigarh. I was initially drawn in by the unique decor, which features walls covered in beautiful book pages and quirky literary quotes that give the restaurant a cozy and charming ambiance. But it's not just the ambiance that keeps me coming back - the food is absolutely amazing. The menu features a mix of Indian and continental dishes, and every item I've tried has been incredibly flavorful and fresh. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they always go out of their way to make sure every guest has a great experience. In particular, I highly recommend trying their Butter Chicken Pasta and the Nutella Waffle, which are both out of this world. I also appreciate that they have a range of vegetarian options that are as tasty as their non-veg dishes. Overall, I can't recommend Cup and Kitab highly enough. It's the perfect spot for a cozy, delicious meal with friends or family, and you won't be disappointed by the food or the atmosphere.

After this pandemic, this is the first place where I went for dinner despite being dependant on online options...The vibe of the place is so amazing.!! Specially the place itself, food preparation, presentation, and taste. It was somewhere that I always wanted to visit but wasn't sure, and kept second-guessing myself. This is small place but with a beautiful sitting arrangement, and is very cozy...It has a library too so, if u r going alone you won't feel alone...This concept is unique and justifies the restaurant's name, 'Cup & Kitaab' It's a must visit once for all those who are looking for a gud place for outing and dining too.!!💕
