We had a amazing dinner 🍽️ at this restaurant.This is located is inside Westin . This place has wonderful ambience & very picturesque & pleasant Lake view . Though there was limited variety for vegetarians snacks but We completely relished & enjoyed our time here . Service & hospitality of this place is very good . They also treated us with mini cake 🧁 for anniversary occasion.

Its wonderful to sit beside a window when it's raining over the Powai Lake. The greenery adds to the charm of the spectacular view. The quantity of food while ample does not in anyway compromise on the taste. The yummy food with complimentary snacks and the impeccable service just makes you want coming for more. We were celebrating a birthday and were provided with a complimentary cake too. While the location of the Lake Side cafe has changed in the hotel nothing else changes.

Lake View Cafe is the best place I have visited for a Sunday brunch..The spread , quality and service is phenomenal. Live counters , chaat counters, Italian counters, Asian counters all are absolutely amazing..And the desserts counters are to die for - there was a western dessert and indian dessert counter with more than 30 lip smacking desserts..We ate as much as we could 😊. And the view of Powai lake from the cafe is what adds to the magic. If you have Eazydiner membership then you get 25% off on Buffet and if you pay online from Eazydiner then you get 1000 more if you Axis, Citi or similar cards.. It us worth every penny you are spending. Highly recommended

If you're visiting Renaissance, it's more for the class of it rather than the food. That being said ,the bite sized snacks aren't bad at all. Overlooking the lake for lunch is a different feeling and must be experienced. Go here with bae.

This is a beautiful cafe, probably the best in Powai as I love excellent service and high quality food and world class ambience with chic crowd.<br/>They have undoubtedly the best buffet or a la carte service offered in Powai .. I have some really find memories of all the food festivals they host from time to time.. not once have I had a single issue with their fabulous food, excellent service or one of a kind ambience , or a sumptuous top in class buffet spread and menu selection...

Lake view cafe used to be one of my favourites. The location gives you a feeling of being in another city.<br/>There was something different though in our last visit .. which was after the renovation.<br/>While the salad, starters and desserts was yummy, ambience AMAZING (as can be seen from the pictures)... Something in the service was missing.<br/>The quick prompt and warmth wasnt the usual - probably because the crowd was more than what could be handled.<br/><br/>Being a favourite, I hope to have a better experience the next time.

The view of lake from the place makes it lake view cafe by the property its named, pleasant ambience with the view of Powai lake and an amazing flavour of food with great Indian and continental spread. I would love to give more than 5stars and a special shout-out for staff.

since this was a Cafe, we thought of coming in for a coffee, Only offering was the buffet, and no coffee was being served. Felt a bit weird on being returned.

We went for one day stay and we had a lifetime experience in just one day at Renaissance . Love the food and love the staff loved all the hospitality ... Thankyou Renaissance keep coming back.

Nice restaurant which has a great INDIAN and continental spread, I am reviewing the dinner buffet spread in this post.<br/><br/>There are total of 7 different sections.<br/><br/>First salad section- with make your own salad option as well. <br/>Sufficient variety in both veg and non veg salads.<br/>second right -opposite to salad you get the soup and snacks section.<br/>At the center you have chaat section - with all the typical INDIAn chaat like pani puri sev puri and dahi puris. And then you have indian veg and INDIAn non veg main sections severing 8-10 dishes in each section <br/>They also have a made to order barbecue in which one can have tandoori pinneples and paneer.<br/><br/>Desert section also has large variety of sweet to offer from cakes to INDIAn sweets etc.<br/><br/>The price for buffet dinner - 2500 rs exclusive of the taxes <br/><br/>Ambiance -5/5<br/>Food -5/5<br/>Price 5/5 (considering its 5 star hotel then I don’t expect to offer such a spread and quality at the lower price)<br/><br/>Nice place to take your family or loved one out for a dinner away from the madness of the Mumbai city.<br/><br/>My favourite is the lake view from the restaurant - with all this it’s certainly a place to visit.

Went on Christmas eve, had a Christmas special menu.<br/>The pricing was a lil hyped as per me. As we also couldn’t order from the menu, we had no other option but to go fr Christmas buffet <br/>The staff was good and good service. Many food varieties and loved the view from here. Over all a good experience surely want yo try from their menu soon. 😊

The Christmas brunch was absolutely delicious and it had a vast spread with lovely scrumptious bites. Every station was a delightful surprise! I highly appreciate the service men who were up to the mark for delivering such a wonderful and unforgettable experience! Kudos team! There were many options. From salad, starters, rotis, pasta, gravy, rice to dessert. In love with their food. <br/><br/>staff were very helpful and quick in service. <br/><br/>Finally I showed my QP Dining Discount Card before payment and I got 15% off on the entire bill. Visited Lake View Cafe multiple times for morning breakfast while my stay at Renaissance. The place is quite picturesque - if you manage to get a seat near to large windows. Powai Lake's view is amazing from here. The food is quite good and the staff is courteous.

I recently visited the Lake View Cafe at Renaissance Hotel Powai to try the buffet spread and was absolutely enthralled by the evening I had.<br/>The cafe is large and comfortable and in the day, has the stunning view of Powai lake. <br/>The interiors are modern and elegant and the cafe has appropriate seating for groups of all sizes. <br/>Let me tell you a little bit about the buffet.<br/><br/>•Salads, Cold Cuts and Cheeses<br/>This is always my first course and although it may sound like there’s not much effort involved in these dishes, they are highly dependent on freshness. I was quite impressed with the flavours and variety of salad. There were about 7-8 salads with veg, non veg and seafood variants. The cold cuts were fresh and covered meats like pork, chicken and turkey. I also enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed cheese counter. <br/><br/>•Tandoor and Grills <br/>This is definitely my next course at a buffet usually as I do enjoy fresh, hot protein. LVC has some pre prepared tandoor items lying in a hot plate to be picked up instantly as well as an extensive on demand grills counter. Went here for Sunday buffet dinner with family. This place is expensive though. After looking the whole buffet menu I went crazy. Because there were many options. From salad, starters, rotis, pasta, gravy, rice to dessert. In love with their food, service, ambiance. If you want to try different cuisine food then this place is right for you. You need to book the table before 1hr. And that’s the only minus point. But it’s fine.

We went for deserts and everyone in the family fell sick. Definitely not going again to Lake View Cafe again. Don't order milk based deserts in the night here, they use stale milk. Moronic service.

I don't know why this place is so highly rated . They are notorious for not picking up the phone for reservations . Call goes to the reception I guess who say they will transfer your call but then no one at the restaurant picks it up  . The buffet is nothing special . Its just run of the mill stuff . Nothing on the buffet really stands out as such . Salads looked extremely unappetizing and limp. They have a big buffet but I think they should focus more on quality rather than quantity . It doesn't matter if you have 50 things on the buffet since I can only eat a few in one sitting . And if those few don't stand out then the remaining things on the buffet are meaningless . The desserts were also disappointing . Staff  during the brunch seemed confused and absent minded . Server had to be reminded that we have placed an order at a particular counter only for the person to return 10 minutes later to ask what our order was . At one counter I was asked to select which sauce I want . They had 5 or 6 different bottles , however since these were not labelled I did not know what my options were . Neither the girl taking the order nor the junior chef preparing the food had any idea what was in each bottle . Am I supposed to select the sauce based on what colour I see through the semi transparent plastic bottle ? Finally they had to call some senior chef who identified the various sauces in a hurry and left  . Overall experience really disappointing for a Marriott brand .

NOT A SAFE PLACE<br/><br/>Went to Lake View Cafe in October 11, 2019 for a nice dinner. The dinner was fine, however, my Apple AirPods costing about INR 16,000 which I left in my car, assuming them to be safe since Renaissance is a reputed hotel, were stolen. Do not leave your valuables in the car at Renaissance, it is not a safe place.

Quality of food was awesome, but quantity of same was not as per expectation.<br/>Lake view cafe is one of the best place to visit with family and friends, will advise to go for lunch.

I tried this place during an office party. It has a nice vibe to it but the service is truly not up to the mark. My pasta from the live counter never reached my table nor did my naan. <br/>There is quite a variety of desserts and starters in the dinner buffet but not so much in the other courses which was a bit disappointing. The starters didn’t taste all that great either. The limited main course though was pretty good in taste.

Let me just say it the brunch buffet is worth every penny . We had the eggs benedict and the cheesy omlettes .the we had the platter of cheeses with cold cuts . Moving on with the bagels and muffins and baked goods . Then some dumplings kimchi and stir fry all with fresh juices . We basically ate our lifes worth there n still couldnt get enough. So it is a place you need to be at !

Lake view cafe is a perfect place for a quiet and romantic date. The ambience is good. The food is excellent but what takes the cake is the service provided by the entire staff. We Got To Try Lots of Cuisine and Maharashtrain Food. We are eagerly waiting for next Festival to come and try it's traditional food

Lake View Cafe is one of the outstanding restaurant in Renaissance Hotel, Powai. The view of the powai lake from the restaurant is spectacular and mesmerising. The restaurant is spacious with attractive interiors and decors along with eye catching metal statues.<br/>This place is hosting Maharashtrian food festival from 13th september to 20th september and I was lucky to witness this event on a 2nd day at brunch. The staff was beautifully dressed in colourful traditional maharashtrian outfit to add colours to this food festival. Loved their warm welcome, lovely hospitality and excellent service. the staff was polite, well mannered and helpful.<br/>Loved its maharshtrian food which was authentic and delicious in taste. Along with maharashtrian food there was other cuisines like chinese, oriental, italian and live counters of chaat and pasta added more varities to the outstanding buffet. Each and every food dish was perfectly made and tasted superb. loved its chaat counter - pani puri, sev puri, bhel, ragda patis, dahi puri, samosa chaat and many more chatpata and mouthwatering chaat.<br/>The dessert section was also widespread with yummy and flavourful cheese cakes, pastries, cupcakes, tarts along with flavoursome icecreams and fresh exotic fruits to end the meal.<br/>Overall had a delightful dinning experience at this place.
